This signed message checks out.

That means you either used a phishing site, or they gave you an invalid signed message. The former seems most likely.
12262  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Suggestions for escrow service on: February 12, 2021, 04:46:23 PM
I must correct you on that, but a user-less platform means that it does not require any registration, so opening transactions is just straightforward.
I haven't seen the phrase "user-less" used before. It sounds like a platform without users. You could just say it doesn't require registration if that's what it means.
12263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to merge many small balances into one with no harm to privacy? on: February 12, 2021, 04:41:36 PM
@LoyceV maybe there are some scripts or so to replace LN addres everytime by new ?
I haven't seen it. Each time you want a new address, you have to create a new LN-wallet inside the BlueWallet app.
BlueWallet is Open Source, so if you really want you can create it.
12264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction still unconfirmed after 3 days on: February 12, 2021, 11:25:59 AM
ViaBtc works, it has worked for hundreds of members and I've used it just two days ago and managed to get one tx confirmed in a block mined by them.
So, what happened when you used it that made you think you should not trust it?
When I said not to trust them, I mean I don't believe if their service really works.
It works Smiley

I have to wait for some hours before my transaction was accepted by them due to their hourly limit
You need impeccable timing to submit your transaction.
12265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My Transaction Stuck already 4th Day - Please Help. on: February 12, 2021, 11:20:35 AM
Finally my Transaction was Confirmed Smiley

I don't know how Smiley
See:
added your TX to ViaBTC free accelerator
And:
block 670253: Miner ViaBTC Smiley

ViaBTC | Transaction Accelerator is the only one I know that really works:
Quote
Free Acceleration: No need to sign in, you can submit any TXID of delayed transactions that at least include a fee of 0.0001BTC/KB. By order of submission, ViaBTC supports acceleration of 100 FREE transactions per hour. Please resubmit your TXID at next new hour (e.g. 13:00 sharp) if it surpasses the hourly limit.
12266  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in provably cheating on: February 12, 2021, 10:07:55 AM
Interesting. It would be interesting to hear statement from wetsuit or TheQuin.
I find it interesting that for years they haven't responded here. I still believe the accusations are plausible.

12268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to connect two bitcoind to each other on: February 12, 2021, 09:23:30 AM
Would it be an option to use for instance rsync to synchronize both directories on a filesystem level (before starting Bitcoin Core)?
12269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My Transaction Stuck already 4th Day - Please Help. on: February 12, 2021, 08:55:09 AM
@loyceV  0.00003850 BTC this amount was added the Webshop where I Purchased as Shipping cost Sad
Let me get this straight: you bought something, paid for it, then in another transaction paid 0.00003850 BTC more (for shipping). So the 0.00099878 BTC BTC went back to your own wallet?
If that's the case, you should have used only 1 instead of 2 inputs (I prefer to use wallets that allow coin control, so I get to manually pick which funds to spend). It would have made your transaction smaller, and the fee lower. Or even better: avoid paying such small amounts of Bitcoin, the webshop itself can barely use it because of transaction fees. It would be great if the webshop can accept Bitcoin Lightning Network for this.
12270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My Transaction Stuck already 4th Day - Please Help. on: February 12, 2021, 08:36:54 AM
ViaBTC never worked for me ... tried 1000 times at Begining of Hour , End, Middle .. Random and never accepted Sad
I recently used it, and it worked. You have to enter it at exactly the beginning of the hour (say: 10:00:00) to stand a chance.

Understand, than I will wait to see if this Weekend will be accepted.
If ViaBTC doesn't mine it, my guess is it will confirm on Sunday indeed.

For future transactions, you should avoid sending 0.00003850 BTC to change addresses. At current transaction fees, this is worthless dust. You would have been better off adding this amount to the transaction fee.

BRD is on Playstore and AppStore present Wallet.

12271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to merge many small balances into one with no harm to privacy? on: February 11, 2021, 07:10:40 PM
Even better: you can prevent small change outputs by sending the change to a LN-wallet directly.
Could you tell me if there is any automated solution to achieve this?
I don't think that's really possible, especially if you want to use a new address for each transaction.

Quote
Or should I copy address from bluewallet and set it as second output (instead of change address in my wallet)
That works Smiley

They may at some point start charging a fee for this, because of the fees they have to pay to consolidate their inputs. Phoenix Wallet for instance charges a small (0.1%) fee already, but that wallet is non-custodial so I'm not sure how traceable the LN-funds would be.
12272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Which Bitcoin wallet is Best? on: February 11, 2021, 06:29:02 PM
i am using blockchain for last 7 years
I assume you mean blockchain.info (nowadays .com), right?

Quote
i have 22 USD in my wallet but i cant send them or swap them. coz its not showing in maximum balance
maximum balance is showing just 0.05$
This is probably caused by a few inputs and transaction fees. In that case, you should read How to consolidate small inputs at low fees.

Quote
which other bitcoin wallet is best?
The most likely answer is probably Electrum.

Quote
and which one you are using?
Many. But there's no point in showing a list here. See Choose your Bitcoin wallet for a comparison.

His post contained a quote with a link from a non-newbie about those type of links/posts (and the risks related to it).
That's ironic, it was my own post. Thanks for restoring this Smiley
12274  Other / Meta / Question: Why was PesoID Nuked? on: February 11, 2021, 11:04:10 AM
I'm curious: why was user PesoID Nuked? If it's ban evasion I get it, but based on his posts, I see no reason to Nuke him.
He made only 3 posts in his topic: Peso ID - Short Bitcoin, and even though I wouldn't trust his service, I don't think it violates any rules.
12275  Economy / Reputation / Re: Long-time sig campaign farm ID'd via single wallet transaction on: February 11, 2021, 10:18:59 AM
imagine if someone wants to connect your account to an alt, they can easily send you funds from the address they use for another signature campain, or send it to the address you send to
~
This brings up a question, is there someone who is willing to spend some BTC for an extended period just to frame someone?
If anyone wants to do this, please send your free Bitcoin to any address I own, and not to any of the addresses I send coins to. I may or may not have access to those addresses. I don't mind receiving free Bitcoin, and I'm not afraid at all of any accusations.

If you REALLY REALLY pissed me off and for $30 week for 9 months (36 weeks) so a bit less then $1100 it might just be worth it. If I could really screw with you.
**But it would have to have done something really over the top for me to do that. Like ulta horrible, it's just not me or my thing. Others may feel differently.**
So you're saying.... I have to do something really bad to get $1100 for free? I don't think that's how punishing someone works.
12276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My Wallet is empty after my windows session is reset on: February 11, 2021, 10:10:10 AM
can you elaborate little bit what you mean "you can't send or withdraw bitcoins" ? As far as i see i can sell my cryptocurrency and get money back ?
Paypal acts a bit like a stock broker when it comes to Bitcoin: you can buy and sell it to speculate on the price, but that's it. You can't use it to make a payment directly.

And hardware wallets warranty doesn't cover your hacks, you are the only person who knows the recovery seed and encryption passwords, so it is your responsibility to keep it safer.
I agree on the hacks but in case of a hardware failure ? will this be covered ?
When you setup a hardware wallet, it asks you to write down the recovery words. As long as you keep them safe, you can recover from hardware failure.
12277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Diving into an old BTC wallet from ~2014 and found a nice surprise - what next? on: February 11, 2021, 08:51:01 AM
Interesting, I was certain that Bitcoin Core displays an error/warning if you load an old wallet into a "pruned" node warning that it may not be displaying the correct history/balance etc...
I have indeed seen such an error message in the past.
12278  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: February 11, 2021, 06:09:07 AM
Love it how admin says "Do not beg for merit excessively.". So it's ok to beg for it from time to time? hahaha
Not really, as you'll be violating the forum rule of no begging whatsoever;
7. No begging.
The "no begging" rule is for "please send me Bitcoin" posts. My interpretation of theymos' post is that it's okay to ask to review certain (good) posts to be Merited. I encourage this in Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source.
12279  Other / Meta / Re: [TOP-200] The most generous users giving merits on: February 10, 2021, 07:23:40 PM
I doubt anyone can overcome LoyceV's "Generosity" index
Actually, anything under 800 sMerit means didn't even exhaust my source sMerits, which means I've been slacking busy with other things.
But unless there was a huge reduction, suchmoon can easily take #1. I am glad to see I made it to #2 Most generous merit senders, all time though Smiley

AT LEAST 500 watts per hour[1]
Watts per hour means a linear increase in power. Given enough time, that becomes an enourmous amount of power, and anyone with a time machine has all the time they ever need. In just over 5 thousand years (45 million hour), you produce enough power cycling as the Three Gorges Dam!

On a serious note: Please learn the difference between units of power and energy.

While eagerly waiting for the second year anniversary orgy party
Well, I was hoping for something bigger too. Maybe I'll wait extending the domain until the last possible second. How appropriate would it be if whois shows it was updated one second before it would have expired?
