12422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will die forever ? on: August 17, 2015, 07:02:16 AM
Well there might be new bugs discovered later who knows.

But as the current situation is, you can never be safe enough, thats why diversification is the best thing you can do.

Put some LTC, NXT, Monero and other stuff too in your basket, so if BTC for some reason dies, another will quickly takes its place, and you wont lose all your money only a small % of it.

I guess that's another issue becauseI 'am not really used on alternative coins so I'am not sure which one of them have big potentials on the future to succeess .
12423  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos (operator of Bitcointalk and Bitcoin subreddit) is censoring Bitcoin XT on: August 16, 2015, 05:21:54 PM
Anyone knows where we are supposed to post the BitcoinXT threads ? last time I posted on Bitcoin Discussion it got moved after couple of hours i guess and they got moved to Altcoin section however I see shitload of posts on Bitcoin discussion right now so .. what's up?
Are they censorship on Reddit only or here aswell ?
12424  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC value decreased to 260$ on: August 16, 2015, 02:08:51 PM
hi
i have a fear that is BTC value going to fall down because i have stored 20 BTC in my wallet. If any experts here please tell me is price going to drop or else it will increases ?

Bitcoin is a long term investement mate , if you are looking for short term then bitcoin is probably not the best for you . If people knew how the price of BTC is going to be on the future , we would be all rich .
There is one thing for sure  , the price will rise on the next year 2016 Q4 when the next halving block reward happens however it still depends how the price was before the halving block ... If it was like 100$ It's not going to be that much .
12425  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBIt error. Need help on: August 16, 2015, 02:02:39 PM
See here Jim (developper of Multibit) and his answer : https://github.com/bitcoin-solutions/multibit/issues/186
Basically restart of the wallet should fix it , try that . If it dosen't work keep reading till the end he gave several solutions to get your wallet back.
12426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you feel the bitcoin price will be by the end of September 2015 ? on: August 16, 2015, 11:19:19 AM
Bitcoin is a long term investement so if you aren't patient then this is not for you . you could buy now and wait for 5-10 years and see how much the price would be Smiley
I'd say it won't go above 300$ for the end of september so just buy and hold for long term that's my recommendation .
12427  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quick question PLEASE read fast on: August 16, 2015, 09:50:07 AM
Hello everyone I am new to BTC but I have a Bitgo wallet and was exchanging AGC to BTC the guy sent me BTC about 20 minutes ago but it says pending?

Is this normal or am I getting scammed?

I never used this wallet , but if they allow you to get the transaction link then post it here or post your adress used to receive or the adress of the sender and we will see .

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/e786c2b05c7b855feccc634358eb76ba8a0991d35418178f6f01e7ba24286dc3

it went through but is it possible the person sending made it pending?

Probably BitGo waits till it have 6 confirmations as most of website do I guess .
your transaction have 4 5 confirmations and now it's irreversible , so there is no one the sender can scam you . don't worry you will get them eventually .

12430  Other / Meta / Re: Question regarding BBcode ? on: August 16, 2015, 07:18:08 AM
link with iurl=#name, mark location to link with anchor=name (no #here)

example link:

Code:
[li][iurl=#multibit0518]MultiBit v 0.5.18[/iurl][/li]

example destination:

Code:
[size=16pt][u][b][anchor=multibit0518]MultiBit v 0.5.18[/b][/u][/size]

12432  Other / Archival / Re: COC Boosting | 1$ per 1mil resources | Vouch boost available | iOS/Android on: August 16, 2015, 05:51:33 AM
If you don't mind my question , I'am interessted on this because it's much lower then buying gems on the game however it's dosen't seem realistic ... I have an account with TH10 right and maxed Resources and there is no one in hell you could do with 1 milion resource in 1-2 hours , not even with gems  Shocked so how the hell you gonna do that ?
12433  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Database ? on: August 16, 2015, 05:27:09 AM
Thanks for both response guys , as I said I'am not worried about my phone number or paper wallet because no one on my country knows about bitcoin and chance that I'am going to meet one that actually do are so low so i guess im safe on that part .
for what comes to Two factor authentification you just told me what I needed to know exactly , basically if I only keep the paper wallet and I never connected to my Blockchain.info account again I should be safe aswell since keylogger will log if I type the info Smiley ty so much guys
12434  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] OPEN SPOTS Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: August 16, 2015, 05:19:56 AM
Just checked my bit-x account and it doesn't look like I've received any sort of payments for past several weeks.  When I tried using the bitsig.website to check the status of my account it gives proper account level however it also says 'Please put your BIT-X account deposit address in your profile’s ‘other info’ field'

I suspect this is the reason I haven't received any payments for these past weeks.  I see a Other Contact Info field under the [Forum Profile Information] section.  Is this where I need to plug in my bit-x BTC addy?

*Correction, it appears as though I did receive last payment on the 6th of this month.  I guess I still have the same question regarding Other Information field.  Do we need to plugin our bit-x addy there and I'm I referencing the proper field above?

Yes you need to and the adress have to be from your Bit-x.com account , payment are automatic and that's why you didn't get anything I guess sicne the adress wasen't valid .
go here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=102788;sa=forumProfile (It's your link) on the bottom there is "Other info" field , you put your adress there it should show on your profile .
12435  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Suggestion for another blockexplorer on: August 15, 2015, 08:03:30 PM
Blocktrail.com should be a good option , they are pretty awesome from what I heard .
If you have any issues you could ask them here for help or something here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=756279.0
12436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts regarding "satoshis" post today on the mailing list? on: August 15, 2015, 07:38:08 PM
http://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2015-August/010238.html

Is it legit?
Was this the same email address that was hacked a while ago?
If you think it was him/her/they, why didn't he PGP sign this message?

What the actual fuck lol .
It looks fake , without PNG key he can't proove shit so yeah .. also I'am not sure when you see the email on that page but here is the one hacked : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775174.0
I guess Theymos could confirm if the emailed used on that page is one of Satoshi email adresses.
12437  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Generate Privkey on: August 15, 2015, 07:30:34 PM
Hello ..... How bitcoin core makes a Privkey ? the privkeys are prepared in bitcoin core and it chooses one of them ? or it has a mechanism for making the privkey ?
If there is a sequence order to make Privkeys what are these orders and mechanisms ?

Few things that should make you understand all this :

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Technical_background_of_version_1_Bitcoin_addresses
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_bitcoin_works
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Private_key

To more understand how they are generated and coded then this should be for you , some open source projects that does that (simple stuff) or you still can check Blockchain.info source code , Bitcoin Core, Electrum and all those open source wallets.
