Dear, you already have an open topic here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=971394.msg10606067#msg10606067

You can either choose lock or delete that old thread as you have opened this new one.
12522  Other / Meta / Re: Trust improvements on: March 09, 2015, 02:59:40 PM
Can there be a rule implemented where members selling their accounts with a green trust made to remove their trust from the account before selling it? The trust is given to the member who sells the account and not the one who buys it but members sell it with the trust as well.

Also, what is the difference between untrusted feedback and trusted feedback? Is the feedback given by newbies considered untrusted here?
12523  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to sell 21 Bitcoin, Happy with any method on: March 09, 2015, 02:07:25 PM
Are you taking Skrill for Bitcoins. What is your rate? And would you go first?
12524  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: March 09, 2015, 01:50:14 PM

women could use bitcoin and access this forum, but she never showed her that she was a woman. women always hide his identity. I do not know why it is so, perhaps they fear teased  Grin

How is gender related to bitcoins, can you explain? I thought any human can use bitcoins irrespective of whether the person is a man or a woman.

Also, if most women don't use bitcoins, it's good for them. Bitcoins are same as shares and the price keeps fluctuating wherin one cannot be sure if the bitcoins he/she owns will have any value or not. Those women have better things to do in life.
12525  Other / Meta / Re: Separate sub forum for "Signature Campaigns" on: March 09, 2015, 01:35:55 PM

But if we create this then people will want a separate sub for Jobs and the Bounties and the everything else. Looking through a page or two isn't that big of a deal really and you can always just try use the search button.

Here the fact is that recently many new signature campaigns have been launched and due to this small jobs get overlooked. If the Signature campaigns are in a different section, jobs and bounties can just be in the services section and it will be more relevant for members who want to do a small job and earn bitcoins. Currently, the Service section is just flooded with the sig campaigns.
12526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cashing out BTC to paypal? on: March 09, 2015, 01:24:11 PM
You can find the fees in the FAQ as well here: https://www.virwox.com/help.php?language=en#_Fees

The fees are quite horrible. I do think they secure themself against customers who might chargeback with PayPal. I believe they compensate the risk with those high fees.
Anyway, I would still suggest them if you have big online income that you need to convert fast without going the bank route, or if you are afraid to use your bank account for crypto related stuff.

Anyway, the fees ad up there as you have to convert through several currencies and with each step there are fees. I'd collect large sums to be converted, I did set myself a treshold when I convert, I do not make small transactions as it is not worth due to the fees. So, if you have constant big online income it's still a very nice and option to convert via VirWox (although you will have limits with a new account).

To get to Bitcoin via Virwox and PayPal:

1. You add money via PayPal to VirWox

Quote
PayPal: Unfortunately, PayPal charges us fees for its services, which are deducted from your deposit. Also, the fee varies with currency, location of customer, payment method used, transaction size, and the size of our previous transactions with PayPal; so the exact fee is only known to us after the transaction has taken place. As an example, the current fee for deposits in Euro for customers with their PayPal account kept in Euro is 0.35 Euro plus 3.4% of the transaction.

2. You convert the sum to the Second Life currency Linden Dollars (SSL).

Quote
Fees 2.90%

3. You convert Second Life Linden Dollars (SSL) to Bitcoin

Quote
Fees 2.90%

4. You could then send the BTC amount to your own BTC address of your desktop wallet or whatever you use

Quote
A handling fee of 0.005 BTC per bitcoin withdrawal will be charged.

To get Bitcoin from VirWox to PayPal.

1. You create a BTC address on VirWox and send your BTC to this address

Quote
This is without fees

2. You convert your BTC to Second Life Linden Dollars (SSL)

Quote
Fees 2.90%

3. You convert Second Life (SSL) to Dollars

Quote
Fees 2.90%

4. You withdraw it to PayPal

Quote
A handling fee of 1 EUR (1 USD, 1 CHF, 1 GBP) + 2% PayPal Fee per PayPal withdrawal will be charged.

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation.

So in my case, I would need to choose second option where I withdraw the bitcoins via PayPal. In that case, I would be paying a total of 7.8% + 1 EUR and in addition to that, PayPal charges me 4.5% + $0.34 since it's an Indian account.  I just have no words to describe how I am feeling right now  Cry
12527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cashing out BTC to paypal? on: March 09, 2015, 12:45:56 PM

I know VirWox since a decade as I am merchant and designer in Second Life. I can not tell you how often I exchanged between PayPal and VirWox back and forth, it happens at least twice a month since years. My PayPal account is still working, as same as my VirWox account. So, I think you are wrong. PayPal has no problem with VirWox.

Could you please tell me how VirWox works? I checked the FAQ and noticed that they accept deposits via PP/BTC but do they also allow exchanging bitcoins for PP? If so, what's the fee then?
12528  Other / Meta / Re: Separate sub forum for "Signature Campaigns" on: March 09, 2015, 12:42:58 PM
I too want a separate form for Signature campaigns. I try to search for jobs which I can do for a bounty but then I need to browse through 2-3 pages in the Services section. I have barely managed to do 2-3 jobs till date as it's tough to even check the new jobs due to continuous replies on Signature Campaign threads.
12529  Other / Meta / Re: Is post like these consider a spam or not? on: March 09, 2015, 12:37:52 PM
I have seen members who are warning everyone in the currency exchange section. Same words which are rephrased in every thread. They say PP transactions are reversible and tell the buyer and seller to be careful. My question is that when he/she is not interested in the exchange then why warn to just increase post count?
12530  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [PSA] Public Service Announcement - Regarding all Gift Codes sold here on: March 09, 2015, 12:30:38 PM
The forum rules clearly state that illegal goods are not allowed, yet the mods do nothing to stop these people.  And people aren't indirectly supporting fraud, they are DIRECTLY supporting it.  Plus if they couldn't get un-reversable (and anonymous) payments in BTC, they would have a much harder time peddling their stolen goods.  Stop buying from these scam artists.

I asked the mods few days back about selling these illegal goods and they said that there is no way for them to find that the gift card is stolen. When the sellers specify that the cards are going to expire, isn't that obvious to the members and mods?

I don't buy these cards in any case but am saddened by the amount of fraud going on here.
12531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you deny evidence? bitcoin has deluded all us on: March 09, 2015, 12:11:17 PM

They would up with x10 gains if they were able to hodl for 10 years, but most people simply aren't cut for long term investments and this is one.

LOL! People are not sure if they will live for 10 years and how can one be sure that the price will rise 10 times? For us $1000 is a huge sum as of now and after 10 years it may be worth $10 just like $10 used to be one's salary in the 1970s and now it is worth a one time meal.  Tongue

For me, I would never hold bitcoins for more than a month as the moment it crashes to $100 or less, I would repent for being greedy.
12532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cashing out BTC to paypal? on: March 09, 2015, 12:08:14 PM
If you don't do anything shady, you don't have to be afraid to get problems with your account.

PayPal will freeze your account just for using Bitcoin, because it's against their terms of service

PayPal does not allow any kind of exchange as far I know and they limit accounts who appear suspicious and those who gain money from gambling websites and exchangers. If one is receiving from a member then I doubt they will check the notes as well but they can if they want to make sure every account for legal transactions.

The main thing I don't like abut PayPal is the chargebacks. Why do they need to chargeback an account just because the buyer says the good is not received? They should properly verify the case and then credit the buyer. Here if I exchange bitcoins with a new member, there are many chances of a chargeback.
12533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trojan targetting bitcoin! on: March 09, 2015, 12:01:29 PM
I believe that each bitcoin core installation should include a prompt to backup the wallet on external media (CD, thumbdrive/USBstick, memory card, etc) with the option to encrypt with passphrase. This will assist users who are not tech savvy to at least have a protected hard copy elsewhere.

That would be a good idea and it would be better if it automatically takes a back up whenever a transaction is made so that even if the user misses out to take a backup on one day, it will do the needful without being prompted and get updated regularly.
12534  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: March 09, 2015, 11:58:47 AM
The problem is that most faucets will not let you withdraw until you reach 0.001, which can take over a week of viewing ads, clicking around and wasting lots of time in general.

Very true!

This is my point. I haven't said that faucets give very little money. I said faucets give users a bad experience, and that they're bad for image.

You may also note that all the original faucets are gone. I believe the original faucet, the one managed by Gavin Andresen shut down in Summer 2013.

Not really as I use 3 faucets as of now which are moonbit, freebitco and alien faucet which pay pretty well and you can reach their minimum payout faster than other faucets. The original faucets used ot pay barely 0.00001 BTC and they used to send mostly to blockchain wallet where the fee charged is high.
12535  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: buying reddit account (14 days old +) on: March 09, 2015, 11:49:45 AM
Whoa. My account has some info linked to me. If uts for scam then I wont recommend anyone to sell him an account.

It's pretty obvious he is buying a free account on reddit to scam the new buyers or old buyers/sellers on reddit. Else why will anybody buy an account that can be created free of cost?
12536  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: buying reddit account (14 days old +) on: March 09, 2015, 11:47:10 AM
Thanks for making this thread. Few days back I was going to deal with a person from reddit and was going to trust him since he had verified deals. Glad to know that these accounts are also being sold and bought here and fortunately I don't send first to anyone to avoid getting scammed.  Angry
12537  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Skrill for BTC/PM/OKPay on: March 09, 2015, 10:11:12 AM

12538  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Free Rs. 200 Amazon Gift Card on Purchase of Gift Cards worth Rs. 3000 – Amazon on: March 08, 2015, 07:19:43 PM
This gift card is given by Amazon website if I am not wrong so why are you posting it in the Marketplace section? This section is to buy/sell goods.
12539  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have USD 2000 to invest. Should I buy Bitcoins or gold? on: March 08, 2015, 07:13:50 PM
Gold is a better option and safer as well. Bitcoins has seen a rise of $1000 to a fall of $220 and so it is very risky to invest in bitcoins. Investment is gold is better as of now looking at the current price.
12540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you do with your bitcoin today? on: March 08, 2015, 07:09:29 PM
Did you buy something with your bitcoin? If so, what did you buy and where?

I exchanged my bitcoins for perfect money.

Did you hold your bitcoin?

Did you earn some bitcoin? If so, how did you do it?

I usually earn from signature campaigns or faucets.

Did you send some bitcoin to a friend?

Exchanged my bitcoins.

Did you introduce someone new to bitcoin?

No. But few days back I did explain someone the use of bitcoins Smiley
