Payment received.

THANKS AGAIN!

280=280x

Efficiency is exactly the same since its the exact same GPU chipset.

Since your power is expensive you need to buy the 470/480.

Sorry guys for slow withdrawals, I am waiting for admins to come online and they will sort it out asap.

We will also try to include nice bonus for everybody who was waiting.

Really surprised that you guys didn't select your admins and support from different time zones since Bitcoin is international and if you guys are USA based then you only work during the 9-5 EST hours while the entire world is either sleeping or working.
12524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.6 on: December 16, 2016, 03:06:24 PM
Maybe with the 470/480 but with the Radeon 6990/280x XMR uses much less power. You can easily check by comparing the temps...

EDIT

12525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.6 on: December 16, 2016, 03:04:55 PM
I think the max for the 7970/280x is 700h/s. You might need some modded miner however. Dont remember the name. If you search the wolf0 Cryptonote miner I think someone mentioned it there.
12526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SHA256 low power mining (Any advices) on: December 16, 2016, 03:03:36 PM
Throw them into the garbage and buy some cheaper Antminer S5 or S7 or some second hand GPUs.
12527  Bitcoin / Electrum / Dangers in using USB Stick to get signed transactions offline? on: December 16, 2016, 12:21:00 PM
Was doing some reading about "BadUSB" and have a hard time finding out exactly how it works.

Does it need to be some infected firmware USB stick that you bought from a 3rd party or can it be a regular brand new USB Stick from a retail store which gets infected if your computer has some virus.

There was one guy who had like 4 CDROMs and he burned the unsigned transaction on a CD-Writer, put in the CD-Reader on the offline computer and burned the signed transaction with the CD-Writer, and later on with the online computer put it back into the CD-Reader to get the transaction broadcasted. This seems a little tedious to me.

Any safer methods on getting the transactions signed or is this "BadUSB" just something that rarely happens with Bitcoin?
12528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hack Into BitDice And Get 1BTC! on: December 16, 2016, 11:03:31 AM
lso you need to confirm from an email which you put when you're signed up.
Are you gonna trying to hack this site now?
Do it! Goodluck  Grin Grin

Some people tend to use the same password for every site so once you know the password of the site as well as email linked to the account, all you need to do is to use the same password for the email . No matter how advance a security of a site is, human's stupidity is still gonna kill it
Only dumb owners would definitely use same passwords that are linked to their other site and i dont think that bitdice owner isnt aware on that and they surely used up very hard to crack password since they already know the possibilities of being careless on using common methods of setting password. Strengthen security is one of the main important thing should be prioritize.

You know what, most "dumb owners" = "majority of internet users". Most people I know who are non-geek and non-bitcoin they all use the exact same 5-6 letter password for every single website/service they use.

Generally most people don't care if their Twitter or facebook get hacked, no big loss for them. Same with banks and Paypal. Those are protected by the government.

So you need to understand that unless you were hacked before, you have a different mindset when it comes to computer security.

Stunna there is a player named asdfasdfa33x.

Its been like more than 2 hours he withdrewed 26btc and he didn't get the withdrawal.
So if you are online have a look at it and confirm the withdrawal.
26 btc is a big amount. I think admins will check and processed his withdrawal by manually. If i'm not mistaken, there was a guy who waited his 9 btc around +18 hours until he get his btc.

yeah i know but they should make an alarm on their mail or something whenever a big withdrawal is processed. So it will be easy for site's admin and user.

They probably knew about this already, a site like primedice probably have enough staff to monitor it 24/7, and right now they are probably taking their time to do some extra checking to see wether there is a sign for foul play involved or not, it is a standard procedure for huge withdrawal

or may be their hot wallet is out of funds and none of admins is online. so may be

I assumed they have a high tech system that when the hot wallet is out of funds it uses multi-sig to automatically withdraw from the cold storage wallets and fill up the hot wallets. Sure there are security issues with this but the risk is very small and the cold storage wallet transfer limits are also limited to their entire funds don't get stolen in the event of a hack.

Pretty much very similar to what Bitfinex used and unfortunately that method got hacked.

The problem is that depending on what day it is, sometimes an average miners fee of 50-60 Sats per byte might not be adequate enough. Last week you had to use fees of at least 90-100 Sats per byte to get it confirmed sometime in the hour.

If you look at
https://bitcoinfees.21.co/
It will tell you which fees to use depending on how fast you want it confirmed.

Since you are a developer you can use their API at https://bitcoinfees.21.co/api and change your software to make the withdraw miner fees dynamic and then people won't have this issue.
12531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.6 on: December 16, 2016, 09:57:07 AM
does xmr mining draw more power then zec? Thinking about switching a rx 470 rig from zec to xmr.

It draws much less power than ETH mining.

There is nothing wrong with your idea. I think its a wonderful idea and when GPU mining goes slightly more unprofitable I would rather send you the GPUs rather than sell them on eBay. The problem here is trust.

We have no idea knowing if this is some scam attempt. You have no feedback and have a new account on Bitcointalk.

We have ABSOLUTELY no protection for our GPUs. We can send you the GPUs and you might stop replying.

There are actually members here who are "LEGENDARY" and have great feedback where people dealt with without escrow because they trust the individual. With you however that trust isn't there.

That's why I asked for some type of collateral in the other thread. Or if you have some BTC in hand you might be able to put those in escrow while people send you the GPUs over. However I also understand that it doesn't make sense since if you have BTC you wouldn't need the loan.

That's why your best bet is just to either save up the money yourself or get a loan at a bank because it seems very risky sending GPUs to you.

You can't.
12534  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] LEPA 1600 / CORSAIR 1200 on: December 15, 2016, 11:36:39 AM
I got a Lepa 1600 and its almost impossible to read the AWG rating on the cable. It honestly looks skinny and looks like "AWG 10" is written.

Its great for GPUs but for Bitcoin ASICs it squeals  due to coil whine.

12536  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Optiona is allways good. 16nm ASIC, 100w/THS 0.1J/GH on wall. MAX: 31THS/miner!! on: December 15, 2016, 11:25:33 AM
Judging by how desperate everybody is for Bitcoin ASICs seems like it would be the perfect business to be in.

Huge DEMAND, very little or no supply.

You could easily create a monopoly. Too bad its very expensive to actually design and manufacteur the ASICs.

Looking for some unique giveaway ideas -- Let a mod know if you have anything thought out!

video contest ! ^^ its always fun
It's a boring idea, there are a ton of video contest out there. Try to find a unique one. Also, not all people can make video (it's need some skills), would be better if all people can join in that giveaway.

How about creative design photo contest ?

Here's some example :
  • cake with primedice texture or other kind of food
  • Lego that made with primedice theme
  • Domino that imaging primedice logo
  • etc

That's better than the video contest however the prizes really need to be big for someone to go through all that trouble. Its alot of work creating a huge lego set or Dominos with the Primedice logo. On top of that you need to purchase the lego/domino set to begin with. Most don't have enough legos to create a huge primedice logo.

The cake probably would be the easiest but many can cheat by simply going to a bakery and paying $5 and tell them to just put the PrimeDice logo on it.
12538  Economy / Gambling / Re: ODD or EVEN win 185% | Provably on: December 15, 2016, 11:18:22 AM
I agree with NLNico.

Indeed there are trades even in between a second. He already showed it. How do we know the system chose the correct one by the time we placed our bets? Because indeed there is a time stamp but it only shows it by the second and not milliseconds. Therefore, if there are 10 transactions in one second, how do we know that the system did not pick a number that is favorable to the site?

I am confused why you guys want it to be provably fair since it uses the data from the open market which is VERY EASILY verifiable to be provably fair. Just take a bet, and see if the price matches or is close to the market rate for BTC/CNY and you have your evidence.
12539  Bitcoin / Electrum / Are the 12 worded seeds really secure from Brute force? on: December 15, 2016, 11:12:41 AM
I found the dictionary file that Electrum uses to make the 12 worded seeds.

https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/blob/master/lib/wordlist/english.txt

At first I assumed that it used a 30000-60000 word dictionary but instead its 2048 words.

So with 12 words there are a possible 2048^12= 5.4445178707350154154139937189083e+39 combinations.

However can't someone design some SHA256 like ASIC which is capable of hashing 10TH/s to look for wallets with balances on them?

With 10TH/s it would take 544451787073501541541399371.89083 seconds to hash each and every possible commbination. However lets say there are already 1,000,000 seeds with some type of balance in them. That would reduce the collision to 544451787073501541541.39937189083 seconds.

Say someone builds like one thousand of these 10TH/s ASICs so it would take instead  544451787073501541.54139937189083 seconds to find one valid seed with a balance.

So if they hashed for an entire year it would take 17264452913 years to find that one seed.

So if my math is correct, it seems its next to impossible to brute force any Electrum keys.
12540  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Simple way to secure THE Seed on: December 15, 2016, 11:03:25 AM
I think the simplest way is to simply memorize your words using nemonics or whatever its called.

Using the above example with 6 words

1613  sister   0003 able  0832 gun  0558 eat   0242 bullet   0082 any

Remember a sentenace such as

"My sister was able to buy a gun and later went to eat some bullet(s) and any day now is her funeral"
