If there is ever merch for this coin, I would like a small bag with the logo on the side, with the text "proud bagholder" on the side.

Somebody should rip this idea off.

This idea, with different logos, could make somebody some money in the alt world.  It would have to be carefully priced to not scare buyers off, but still qualify as a ripoff.

We use year/month/day (South Africa), and Americans use month/day/year, so to see it day/month/year is extremely confusing for me.

I believe only Americans use that (strangely illogical, for the digital age) format.

People in the US grow up expecting birthday presents, and the US economy has several sectors that like pressuring people into buying birthday presents and cards.

Our aim is to create a custom SILVER BULLION QIBUCK COIN every three months, limited edition to give to our QIBUCK FOUNDERS for bagholding their 10k coins religiously. Also maybe have a few for sale too

Suggestion:  Read up on Mike Caldwell's experience with FINCEN and physical bitcoins. (Caucausus, or something like that).  Don't want to be wasting the ICO on attorney's fees.

I also have some respect for Risto, but i'm asking myself why did he waste 1 million euros (or 600k not sure of the figure) over a castle when he is so certain of bitcoin exponential trendline.. Roll Eyes

This coin needs an ounce of legitimacy behind it for it to work better. I suggest the dev make another OP and link it to this one. Of course we'd still use this thread to keep the joke/theme going, but the other OP would be for the honest type of stuff to really advance the coin. The stuff I'm talking about this coin needs is: PoD, real legitimate OP spec page, etc

It's all funny and whatever to see the scribble of the anon function, but real investors need to see the actual mixer whitepaper and diagram.

It's things like that, that while it may be a real feature, the way it's presented is going to deter wise investors, exchanges, merchants, and new services no matter how legit the coin really is (or isn't... hehe).

As a contributor to the whitepaper (p238), I resemble your remarks.

Love the way that woman ninja-mines the microphone when she's talking.  Typical closed source shenanigans.

Occasionally he is right about small, short term movements
As far as I can tell, he gets the big ones right in the ways that count, and sizes appropriately to optimize the expectation.  The small short-term ones, not so much.  I think my monkey does better in fact.  To be fair I don't think he generally cares about the small short-term ones.

Perhaps someone with more time than I have can go through kireinaha's posts and back-test them?

you are a paid shill by him as well. and it is public.

What does this shocking revelation say about monkey?

I wonder how risto pays:  USD/BTC/XMR/bananas?

Does he ship the bananas or transfer credit to a local market?

A privacy-enabled crypto will displace bitcoin.

A low-brow response:

1.  GMAIL reads your email.  Top email provider for last three years.

2.  I was on Linkedin yesterday, and found among my connections a psychiatrist I visited 6 years ago!  How the fuck did they get that?  Linkedin is tops in something.  (When Linkedin first came out I thought it was about kilns for a couple years).

My low-brow conclusion from this vast data set:  Low-brows go "huh?" about privacy.

My assertion:  there are more low-brows than not.

EDIT:  Facebook

In these times of stress with people looking for the perpetrators, I find myself wondering:

Is it more profitable to buy a pitchfork and seek redress, or to manufacture and sell pitchforks?

Begging forgiveness for the newb question which has probably been answered a million times:

How can bitfinex collect on the loans?  What enforcement power do they have?

All right, I'm going out on a limb here, and as a contributor to the whitepaper (p238), I have a reputation at stake.

My theory is .......

Proudhon is behind all this!!!!!!!   He has lots of BTC and lots of time and is bored.

I'll bet all my RIPO (currently zero) that I am right.

should i send you some ripo? Cheesy

Thanks for the offer.  Please hold zero RIPO in escrow for the future settlement of this wager.

I remember reading a survey in which a significantly higher number of EU respondents felt that the major developments in their life were not under their direct control compared to US respondents.

Those EU people need to forget about WWI, WWII, and the iron curtain.

3.  Who will buy them?

At a price of .0001, 25bitcoins would buy half the QBK that exist

If they were on a shelf with price tags affixed, that is true.

If they are in the hands of 100 investors, each investor having his own requirements and logic, how can we know how many investors would sell at that price?

1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QIBUCK COIN - X13 - POS/POBH - 1st Proof of Baghold and asset backed. on: August 14, 2014, 02:52:10 PM
To simplify things lets just say everyone has an equal amount of coins. Would you rather be

A. One of 100 people getting dividends from 100 Bitcoins

or

B. One of 50 people getting dividends from 75 Bitcoins

Choice B is obviously better. That is what would happen if you used 25 BTC to buy and burn at .0001

Please show why B. would happen and not

C.  99 people getting dividends from 75 Bitcoins
D.  75 people getting dividends from 75 Bitcoins

Thanks.

Anyone remember when LCLimecoin dev put the 25BTC buy wall up on on Poloniex after the LCL IPO? That was epic.

LCL no longer listed on polo.  Conclusion?
