I'm planning on retiring in 30 years time, will I get my coins by then?
No. I will personally make sure that you get them converted directly into qora so you can finally shut the hell up. That would save me a step. Thanks. No problem. Give me your qora address.

Some answers to questions that appeared on the last few pages: 1) Why my real account adress start with NA***********,and i see the instruction adress start with NBAll real accounts addresses begin with a "N" the rest of the address will be different from the address seen in the instructions. Also, every time you click on the menu item "create real account data" a new random key is generated. Don't expect it to be the same every time. Any key data generated this way is ok for claiming a stake. 2) I tried the option, ADD AN EXISTING ACCOUNT, paste the (real) private key, the account number generated was different! Is this supposed to happen?Yes, that is normal and nothing to worry about. "Add existing account" derives an address for test network which is different from the address of the live network after launch. 3) What happens if those people don't ever send their NEMstake in? Are those just going to be counted as unclaimed stakes? The time for claiming a real stake via sending the Nxt AE NEM stake to the published account is limited. Thus after this deadline the NEM stake on the asset exchange is worth nothing since it cannot be converted any more into a real stake. Such a stake is per definition unclaimed. 4) I've downloaded the new client, but cant get NCC to run any ideas? In most cases you forgot to delete the nem folder before installing the beta client. This can lead to an unexpected shutdown of NCC. Stop the nem software, delete the nem folder and start the nem software again. That should work. 5) Last question; How much time I've got to claim my NEMstake @NXT AE? Deadline? At least a few weeks, the exact deadline hasn't been fixed yet. 6) I use the standalone version without default data-path. No possibility to create a real address. What to do?Start NIS AND NCC standalone version on you local computer. Open a browser and navigate to http://127.0.0.1:8989/ncc/web/index.html . Create a wallet and log into the wallet. Then you can create the real account data with the menu command "create real account data". Is there a timeline for an exchange adoption those of us that can't/won't download the client? There is - never. We came up with this approach to get as many testers as possible. You have to generate your key with the client.

After release we only get 750'000 Nems for 1 Stake but before the release we get 1'000'000? what is when the total number of coins is higher than 4'000'000'000?
If we were to change the total number all other numbers would be changed accordingly.

I dont know why but encrypting messages when sending some Nems is not an option for me anymore. I cant activate the box
browser ? OS ? People if you're going to report bugs, we really appriate it but without some basic information about your system it isn't going to help one bit.

why when i open the wallet,it always said:NIS requires to be booted. Please open your wallet and boot a local node via the popup dialog or configure the auto-boot setting. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ? Because auto-booting wasn't a priority yet but the devs are aware that it confuses people and I hope it'll be changed in one of the next releases. In the meantime just follow the instructions.

Now there is a real address, it is not a person can distribute unclaimed currency before? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I'm sorry I have no clue what you're trying to ask.

Anyone know why i cant get NCC running? I have updated to java 8.
NIS is running, but NCC does not.
I could get the old alpha version working, but not this.
Try deleting the nem folder before starting it. Since the curve was changed old accounts can cause these kinds of trouble.

|
|
qucik question: I found two wallets when I want to open my wallet: one is I created just now, but the another name is the name I used in the Alpha version. Is it OK?? or what's wrong with this situation?
I don't know how you managed to keep the alpha wallet as usually that should cause some trouble (like the client dying) but it doesn't matter for redemption if that's what your asking. You're not supposed to use an address that the client creates for a new wallet / account. You're supposed to create a "real account" with the generator as shown in the screenshots.

Can i wait until the final version before do this? Why would you do that ? The sooner everyone has finished the process the sooner we can launch.

SEND ALL YOUR NEMSTAKE FROM ONE NXT-ACCOUNT. THE 2 NEMSTAKE PER NXT-ACCOUNT RULE IS OFFICIALY OUT THE WINDOWI'd actually suggest not to split them up even if you preferred to do so since it makes stuff more complicated for not to mention that the process will be automated and there can always be mistakes in the code (especially if I've written it ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ). So... I guess the TROLL-SNAKES got their way after all... ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Actually this was the plan all along. ...we all know who you are so do us a favor and STFU now at least...
Whom is this directed at ?

Last question; How much time I've got to claim my NEMstake @NXT AE? Deadline?
There is no exact date yet. You'll have at least 2 weeks but I expect it to be more.

why my real account adress start with NA***********,and i see the instruction adress start with NB
Because that's how it is. Only the first letter is fixed. Deal with it.

I'm totally confused now.
My situation;
1 NEMstake at NXT AE 1 official stakeholder of NEM
Got a token and submitted it successfully at the website.
Now what?
You'll have to follow both processes then. You got the token that you registered - your good on that end for now. For the stake you have on the AE you'll need to follow the redemption process as outlined. At first I was like "Why did he even get that token" - had me a little worried there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . But you weren't issued your stake on the AE but bought another stake on the AE.
|
|
|
So, here's a question... I am betting quite a few of the NEMstake on the AE are being held by AE traders and maybe not people who actually want to redeem them for NEM.
What happens if those people don't ever send their NEMstake in? Are those just going to be counted as unclaimed stakes?
I should think so yes.

>>Phase 1 — Step 2 and Phase 2 will be merged into one Phase, which will be the new Phase 2 and will last for 3 weeks. >> This results in BTT Stakeholders and AE Stakeholders providing their NEM-addresses during the same time period. Does this mean that BTT stake holders has to provide their NEM address now? If so to whom should I be sending the actual NEM address? The portal will be adapted for that. Just wait for an announcement. We have been giving you guides and announcements for every step of the way so far. Please just show some patience and we'll continue todo so instead of answering the same questions over and over again.

when i go "settings" > "remote server", do i just enter the IP of the computer that i have a remote instance of NIS running on, into the box called "host"?
That's correct. From that point on you also don't need your local NIS anymore. I have to say the user experience with a remote NIS is 10x better because that NIS is always online and syncronized so everything works immediately ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

has anyone got remote harvesting working? i cant for the life of me figure out how to do it... ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Once it says activating your good. It takes about 24h to actually start harvesting (wild guess: it's somehow connected to vesting but don't ask me the exact reason) hang on.. do i not need to leave my computer running 24/7 if i want to harvest as much as possible..? i dont get how its remote if im not linking to any other nis or ncc?? Well you have to have a remote NIS to harvest remotely. That's kinda the point of the excercise ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) (Besides the security aspect which is why it's also called secure harvesting) If you have no remote NIS then you must harvest localy which would mean having NIS running as much as possible. If you do have a remote NIS you merely have to activate remote harvesting and you don't need to have anything on localy.
