1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: December 25, 2023, 06:25:49 AM
~snip~
Unfortunately the ratio of gamblers winning in gambling is low when compared to winning ratio of the house. So its good idea to build a house that will generate a secure income rather then losing all you have in gambling.
We dont have much stories of people who have made fortune out of gambling. That's why its not a wise decision to adopt gambling as career. Gambling should only be taken as leisure activity and its addiction must always be avoided.

Yeah, that's the thing. You only need to have a look at the probability of each game in the casinos and you will realize that they odds are against the gambler.

Of course, if you see one video of someone winning some money, you might want to do the same, but it doesn't work like that.
The bookie has control over the games played by the gamblers, even though many of us think that winning in gambling is luck, I actually see that the winnings have been set by the bookies in such a way, many of my friends are active gamblers, but I even Not finding one of them who is rich and in fact many of them are now starting to get into debt due to gambling, maybe in 100 times playing the bookie will give us 10 wins as an attraction to continue gambling, but after that rest assured that the bookie will soon drain our money dry.
I think gambling addiction starts when we consider it a recreation and that's when the bookie starts running his tricks to at least give us a win and in the end after getting a few wins of course then  addiction will start to spread in our brain.

Running a gambling career is not a regular means of making money. However, many gamblers ignorantly are using gambling as a career, which is not a smart move. That's why the journey of such a gambler would be tough on him, as he has no prior knowledge of what he's into, or how to work it out. Before one ventures into a gambling career, he must be aware of the skills and discipline needed to participate in the field of gambling. Every niche of work needs certain skills to join or perform well in the business. So, most people who now gamble with no skills do so to their detriment. For a gambler to handle gambling successfully as a career, he needs to have a huge bankroll and also the mathematical skill of calculating the house edge to know what's in for him at any instance he gambles. Other wise the person may not succeed. In the long run, it's not needed for a gambler to spend his whole time each day to gamble as a job. People do it and succeed. However a good number of gamblers lose out in this process because they don't understand the ethics of gambling.

Then may get in debt trying to reach the finishing line like a long-distance race. Which could ruin his gambling journey, and his life in the real world. The machines have been programmed to lead to some wins after some specific plays. Gamblers who think that they can get rich by consistently gambling each day and hoping for a big jackpot at some point will be in the shoes of the gamblers who are in debt and find it difficult to move out from such addiction. I don't think gambling career is for every gambler who has ventured into the route of a job, knowingly or unknowingly. Hence, instead of choosing betting as a gambling career, it's better to set up a service for gamblers, offering football analyses for gamblers or giving out fixed games to the players. It's more profitable than gambling all the time, it gets boring to some extent.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: December 25, 2023, 12:43:14 AM
Self-control is a lifelong talent, like a mental muscle that needs continual training. Individuals must work on this skill. This is very important in the gambling industry. The thrill of the game and the promise of winnings are seductive yet dangerous. We must teach newcomers the difference between a safe bet and a risky one. Don't only prevent loss; foster a mindset that regards gambling as enjoyment, not an income stream. This viewpoint must be emphasised!

The recreational nature of gambling cannot be stressed. We must fight for this! Gambling should be fun and fun, not obligatory. It's about the adrenaline, excitement, and socialising, not the money. We must teach newbies that gambling is like going to a movie or concert: a method to relax, not a way to gain money. We, the experts, must teach beginners this mindset. Remember: responsible gambling as a hobby may add colour and pleasure to life without threatening financial security.
Indeed, we must instruct those who are new to gambling on the dos and don'ts of the game since they may gamble excessively and lose self-control. We have to instill in them the idea that practicing self-control when it comes to gambling would enable them to better control emotions and make thoughtful judgments rather than acting on the impulsive of the moment.  They can keep gambling and other various aspects of their lives in check by practicing efficient time management.

They must also learn to set boundaries, such as understanding when to give up gambling even when luck seems to be on their side and resisting the want to keep going over their set limitations. However, as you pointed out, it's difficult to resist the urge, particularly when they start talking about money or add more.  Some gamblers develop a habit of gambling and feel obligated to continue playing even when no one gives them orders (unless they are in debt, in which case they would naturally find other methods to pay their creditors and may believe that gambling is the only option available to them). Sad

Gambling for newbies is like what they see and assume the streamers do on their channels; win big money and hit financial freedom. Everyone wants high finance in today's world, hence they can do anything possible to hit the funds. Gambling came as a way of fun, with rewards, but the players prioritize the need to gamble for money. And it's wrong to have the same mindset that has ruined many gamblers. It's a difficult process of making money. Because gambling only gives transient riches. The players only have fun, relaxation, and life strategies, issued to them as a way of earning via gambling. Addiction increase is only due to the love for the money in gambling. Many gamblers who didn't have the money in mind, end up earning big via gambling. They follow important routines and procedures in gambling that help them escape addiction and make the right moves in gambling. Newbies who begin with efficient time management can succeed in gambling and won't have a reason to regret gambling, that's if they don't lose control.

Like I'd always say, gambling has different ways of dealing with addiction and strategies. A gambler can be focused on using some strategies, and along the line things change, maybe financially in his life, he'd want to try another means of making some funds in gambling, thereby losing out on his previous gambling ethics. The house also works strides ahead to destabilize a gambler's strategy, hence luring more newbies who started fine to chase losses. Hence, the right thing for a newbie is to always have a break, whenever they're not comfortable with the results they see in gambling. It only takes different factors to escape gambling addiction, which includes all the above-mentioned criteria like gambling for fun, followed by doing what's right in the real world in gambling. Not spending recklessly and being calculative in all our moves.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: December 25, 2023, 12:20:37 AM
At least gamblers must be able to be disciplined in their behavior when they have to decide to leave gambling because of winning or because of a losing streak.
Often we as gamblers enjoy the game too much. and always want to get bigger wins. that's what gamblers sometimes miss.
I agree that every gambler must be disciplined in gambling. that's what separates an addicted gambler from a wise gambler.
from my experience as a gambler, discipline is indeed very important, but all of this must be done with the encouragement of a strong commitment because without the strength of commitment, discipline will not be strong and you can always be tempted by something in gambling and the commitment itself must be strengthened with a mindset or this is healthy assumption because anything related to money can definitely destroy our minds, while gambling is always related to money which can damage our commitment or discipline.

and the easiest way is just to value your money, bet a small amount that you can afford to lose and always keep the thought respecting money, of course you will continue to bet with the smallest amount and if you are lucky you will definitely stop soon and I call it a wise gambler.
It may seem very trivial, but if ignored, small things like this can pressure someone into becoming addicted.

Discipline in gambling is not simple for most gamblers. We read it every day, but practicing it can be a mission impossible. Due to the power gambling has on the human brain. When the losing streak follows, most gamblers won't be able to let go of the truth that they've lost in the process of gambling. Hence the game continues and even when they've won a certain amount of money, the gambler will still wager them back to the house. The self-control we are looking at as gamblers must be mastered or learned in gambling. Discipline should be the aim of gamblers, instead of money. If a player learns this, he'll be successful in every action he's about to take in life. After a few wins, I notice the brain sends out impulses that trigger me to wager more money, maybe the win could get bigger. Sometimes the instinct keeps battling with my predictions. Hence, leading me to think I'm not good enough in following my instincts.

But to a point, I found that in gambling following our instincts matters only when it tells us to stop gambling. But in terms of prediction, the house knows the trick they are using on gamblers to continue gambling. The main reason gamblers try again is that the game plays a number that we wanted to choose initially but tried another one. The player wants to get it right at all costs, believing it's his fault. But the game is controlled by the casino or the machined has been programmed to release a few wins after a player has wagered a certain amount, which obeys the house edge. Newbie gamblers need to understand all these and apply discipline as a strategy. Thereby developing rapport with the house. One can't learn what he's angry at doing or blame for his loss of money or condition. So if a gambler is performing well by enjoying the game, he'd love gambling and make good moves and predictions.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which hosting or domain name providers does shady gambling sites use? on: December 24, 2023, 11:55:56 PM
The online name registrar and hosting services are quite a different part of the internet, and most often don't bother about what a site is being used for. The host can only have control of taking down the site, but can't take the domain name. So if the host takes down the site, which is rare, the casino can still move their contents and site templates to another host and continue from where they stopped. But the domain extension of some scam projects is mainly.XYZ hardly uses .com because the domain king .com is mainly taken oftentimes. So, for phishing sites they won't be able to get the actual name of the site they'll want to deceive their customers. However, any name can be used to run phishing. But gamblers are always wary of visiting sites that don't end with .com or .io extensions. Those other domain name extensions for official businesses like gambling don't sit right with many people.

I've seen many other gambling scam sites still existing and running ads on blockchain explorers. We should be bothered about why the advertisers take ads from scam casino projects. The hosting services are quite too far from doing the job of taking down a site, the law enforcement agencies are better at handling such reports. Due to the shadiness of the internet market, not all hosts can take down a site easily, even with lots of proof. They can assume that a competitor may have used the strategy to remove another site. And if hosting services easily took down sites, many internet services may have been offering such services for people who want to hurt their competitors. Scam sites have lots of offshore hosts to host their sites that may not bother about taking down the site. Don't think it'll be necessary to name such hosts, as I'm not sure about their terms of service or why they delay shutting down such phishing sites. But, if you'd want to know I'd advise you to check some fake site scanners and look them up on WHOis.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person more addicted on: December 24, 2023, 11:14:18 PM
Physical Gambling for sure. Here's why:

Online Casinos are enticing sure, but most of them offer nothing but visual appeal as well as the perks that they give out to their users (free spins, etc.) that eventually run out or expires. So when these amenities go away, I think I speak for everyone when I say we get this sudden realization that we should be doing even more important things than sinking hours into an online casino. On the other hand, this doesn't happen in a brick-and-mortal gambling institution. First off, you're enclosed in a secure space where it's just as hard to get in as it is to get out. They offer stuff like free drinks, free hotel stays, or whatever to some customers they deem are bleeders to make them stay even more within the casino. Lights are so bright so as to make sure you don't fall asleep or to disrupt your sense of time, and as far as I can remember the perks that they offer to their customers, new and existing, do not go away. So in the grander scheme of things Physical Casinos have a better capability to lure and secure customers for longer than online casinos, which apart from those things got its convenience feature as the only things that really set it apart from their physical counterparts.

Physical casinos still have some restrictions on underage gamblers, which online casinos may not possess. Not all physical casinos operate 24 hours, unlike online casinos where people have 24 hours of access each day and can gamble in the comfort of their home. I understand the fun of participating in comps on physical casinos. But the important aspect of these comp clubs aside from free room or food, most of them are responsible gamblers. Those compliments aren't enough to make them addicted gamblers, but they can be gambling consistently. Online casinos have a high rate of addicted gamblers and minors who use the platform. Physical casinos have the feeling of playing with real humans and at some point, one gets weak and would want to go home. The physical casino settings are quite great in deceiving people to continue, even when the time and odds are against them. But, at some point, the gambler has the urge to sleep or go home. While traveling home he'd have a rethink on his gambling action if he made good decisions or predictions.

The online players don't have much time for reflection. They can only play till they fall asleep and then begin first thing in the morning. Due to the availability of the game. Not saying that offline casinos don't produce addicts, many of them get worse and play all their money at a go. Addiction to a physical casino can be too stressful compared to an online casino. Because the first name would be sticking around the casino each time their money is exhausted and runs immediately to the casino to gamble if he gains money. The healing process can be difficult too, compared to the online casino who would be around his home struggling with addiction. With the rate of internet users and online casino players, people who gamble online spend more time in, the same way they do on social media. From the statistics of online gambling precautions circulating online, it's certain to say that online gambling has produced more addicts recently than physical casinos.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: December 24, 2023, 10:08:34 PM
If the casino dealer is watching over all the operations happening in the casino, he would restrict anybody from cheating the system. Including the owner? not sure, the only confusing thing right now is the relationship between the casino and the game providers. Don't know if the casino would be able to manipulate results from a game provider's server. As these two parties are different and have some restrictions. There are some things a casino can't do with a gaming provider. Take for instance a game provider that can restrict people in a specific location from playing their game, while the casino allows for anybody to use the casino. But, when it comes to that specific game provider the player has no right to participate in such game, except with a VPN. The provably fair system has to do with the casino, not the gaming provider, this is where I don't understand what happens, in terms of the results we get from a casino.

According to research, the casino controls the results, but the provably fair system would still be there to make sure that the house edge allows players some time to win. Hence, it's quite complicated to know the kind of treatment the casino boss or owner would be getting in terms of results. Another common example would be the streamers, we have rumors floating around the gambling niche that streamers get favor from the casino to win more than the players who join the casino to wager games. I think the casino boss would have to decide what happens or for some reason won't derive joy from using his casino. Maybe he'll be interested in other types of games or participate in a higher level of gambling, with top gamblers or fellow casino owners. I always have this feeling that they'll be focused on buying games and helping the bookmaker with football odds to place on some specific teams to maximize profits.

I see that point and it is possible that casino owners can deal it with the provider, just with how we are seeing those streamers who manage to win just for the sake of advertisement and to attract gamers to use the platform, I'm not sure about the set up and if it's really for real I guess it wrecked the purpose of fair gaming.

Though, maybe there's internal setup with this kind of situation and depends from how both the owner and providers negotiation about this adjustment from the gaming system.

Since they work together, you are right, they'll have a way of reaching to an agreement that allows the casino some authority over the results of the game. Atleast to keep the casino from going bankrupt. Running a casino is quite risky, hence if the casino is not in control of the results, players may be winning too many times and running down the funds of the casino. These things happen behind the scenes but still leave the authenticity of provably fair, questioned. Casino promises with the use of provably fair features, the gambler has a transparent result and doesn't have any reason to bother about manipulated results. And the rumors of the streamers have been too real recently, as those wins are becoming more often than any average gambler may have experienced. As for the CEO on second thought, he may not be given any much privilege to receiving a made-up result.

The business is his, so no need for that, I just thought about it from this perspective. A bookseller doesn't need to pay to read his books. But if he's in a book shop he'll buy those books. If the casino owner is playing using his account he can fund his account the same way he does for the streamers. But, if he's playing using a different account to enjoy the fun of gambling, he'll pay to gamble. Because if he's seeing more manipulated results, the owner won't be able to enjoy the fun of gambling. The money he wins still goes back to him as the owner of the casino. So, gambling wouldn't freak such men anymore. That's why in my response, I said that they engage in other activities meant for casino owners. Additionally, they'll be very busy managing the business, handling complaints, and maintaining the authenticity of the casino. Even if they gamble, it won't be on a regular base.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 24, 2023, 09:44:07 PM
Has anyone tried gambling for 4-8 hours 5 days a week to make gambling as a regular full time job? I think it will be quite emotionally exhausting to do that. Moreover, if gambling would really be a profession, then it will mean that people would only earn from that (you dont go to work to lose money or work for free). Only earning from casinos means casino go bankrupt. That wont be a long lasting job.
Full time job means working 8 to 10 hours. In our country usually full time jobs have to do duty till 10 to 12. In this case if we consider gambling as a full time job then we have to spend 8 to 10 hours on gambling site every day. A professional gambler does not spend 8 to 10 hours daily on gambling sites so gambling is never considered a full time job. But many people can spend two to three hours in gambling but it can be taken as a part time job but never possible to take gambling as a full time job.
Moreover, as a full time job one gets a certain amount of salary at the end of the month but in case of gambling one should not expect to get it because in gambling there are two types of possibilities one is loss and the other is profit. So if there is no fixed amount of salary at the end of the month in a full time job then why should people accept it as a full time job?

Choosing gambling as a profession has some skill requirements, like any other job. The gambler needs to calculate the house edge, and then venture into the business with lots of money. I've read of a gambler who chose gambling as a profession and used 70k dollars from his savings to gamble for the rest of his life, after quitting his 9-5 job. He happened to be a skilled gambler, hence didn't waste his money, instead, he's meant to be tired of gambling more than 5 hours every day. Locking himself in the hotel environment. A player who has good information on the percentage available for him in a casino can determine how to manage his funds and how long it'll take him before the whole money finishes. Going with the idea of being a gambler forever, without doing any other thing, the player needs to have money, then skill. However, I'd advise the player to do that on offline casinos compared to online casinos. Why? because of the comps.

Whether the player is winning or losing, he'll be getting points from his comp team that'll be used to pay for his hotel bills, food, and drinks. The gambler can stay focused playing from the casino hotel room, knowing fully well that he's into this as a profession. In the long run, he wins and adds to his general bankroll. Utilizing the online casino as an office can be expensive. The player pays for food and other bills. Comps in physical casinos take care of hotel rooms and food. Eliminating some unnecessary expenses on the gambler. Moreover, the gambler will get tired of doing this each day. It's one difficult job for anybody, regardless of how much the player loves casinos. It gets tiring. Not being able to meet with loved ones, sleeping, and waking up to gamble can affect the player mentally. I wouldn't advise anybody to choose that path of profession. The gambler in my illustration never ran out of bankroll, yes, but it's not good for the brain.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 24, 2023, 09:19:09 PM
It is possible to win millions of dollars from slots with just $1 which is why it is more attractive to gamblers and slots games are played more than other games. And this is why gamblers are more addicted to slots games. And in slots games, users can lose the most and win the most.  I used slots machines for a while and got pretty addicted to them, but managed to quit with some self control. So I agree with you that slots games are the most addicting. And those who get deeply addicted to slots either win big or they lose everything very quickly
A gambler who wins millions of dollars from slot games must have great luck, but most gamblers still struggle to win a lot of money. Most of them will lose when playing slots because slot games require luck, and slot games attract many gamblers who come and hope to win big multipliers. And if they lose, they will still come back and play the slot game, and maybe they will spend more money and buy bonus features that they think will increase their winning percentage. But once again, they must have luck to get a big multiplier. And we admit that this slot game is so tempting that it can make us return more often. Many gamblers who become addicted to gambling return to gambling and playing slots because there is a hope of getting a big multiplier. Those who are not successful will try again another day until they finally become addicted to gambling.

The main reason most gamblers go for slot games is the quick return of results, once the money is wagered the gambler gets to see his result win or lose. This has affected the playing pattern of most gamblers. Most especially those with lots of bank roll. They'll continue wagering money until the money is exhausted. However, it's important to say that, these gamblers on the lookout for money may now lose control. Any form of gambling can be addicting, but slots are too tempting for a player to let go. Some would imagine winning on their next play. Hence would prefer gambling for one more time. It works for some but doesn't for others. A few may win on their next trial, while others will continue playing without any luck of winning. Winning big in slot games is quite big, but takes lots of money on the gambler's end. Self-control and discipline are crucial for slot players as the game is too promising not to continue rolling.

Being addicted to slot games has no limit and the player can be sticking to the process, hoping for a big win. Not minding the losses that he's accumulating each day in gambling. However, I do understand or succumb to the fact that an addict on slot games will win big, but he may still lose out on the funds in no distant time. Consistency in gambling can get wins, but the problems that follow addiction are quite too much for the transient riches gambling can offer. Some jackpot winners in slot, famous, ended up losing out all their funds, playing slot games. While the slot players have a high number of addicts, the football niche also has a fair share of addicted players. Due to the number of football fans in the society. Although the urge to gamble again is also strong in football fans, the weekly interval can help in reducing the rate at which a football gambler gets addicted. Compared to the addicted slot player.
1269  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 24, 2023, 08:55:07 PM
I think for an industry with so much $ we could expect a little bit more originality.
Companies/individuals that go for creating a new gambling platform barely put any effort towards making things more original and unique, they simply try to imitate what other industry leaders are doing or have done in the past because they think it's how they can get more attention and success which isn't true. They need to think out of the box so that they can provide games and services that aren't available in the market and they will eventually get more success and attention.

I wouldn't put all the blame on them as well because I feel it's gamblers who don't demand more, they keep asking for the same things which is the reason why a new business wants to offer the same thing so that they can get more customers. If gamblers and users ask for something else, innovations can enter the market in the future.

Casinos don't need to invest much in the website design. Most casinos I've visited, look alike and it's more about sampling all the services they offer at first glance for site visitors. These days gamblers don't care, they only want to get what is being paid. A working slot game, fast deposit, and withdrawal etc. The way the site looks is a secondary problem to bother about. Once the casino is not a scam project, then the gambler has no reason to ask for something else. That would be a waste of time or maybe a sign that a gambler is only there for the website design. For instance, in an eatery, what matters is being served food, and drink if needed. The looks of the restaurant don't matter compared to the taste of the food, in terms of attracting the customer to visit again. I don't see anything wrong with casinos using almost the same templates. From my level of business perspective, I don't care about the website platforms the goal is delivering good services.

Endeavoring that the casino operates with great customer representatives, solves complaints fast, and then provides provably fair. When reading casino reviews or complaints from gamblers, you'll rarely see that the sites are similar. In addition, what to expect in the future for casinos is having more of them accepting cryptocurrency. This complaint is like saying that all casinos now accept the same payment method. There are some templates a casino would use on their website, but they wouldn't make any sales. Imagine using some WordPress themes for a casino, where the visitor would be looking for ways to find games on the website. Or maybe tracing on how to pay withdraw or deposit money on the casino. A simple graphic user interface helps in keeping a new visitor a little more in the casino. Hence, they won't have a hard time creating an account and navigating the website.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: December 24, 2023, 08:28:32 PM

Yeah, you're correct mate, pressure from family members can help an addicted gambler to quite gambling but, it will take some time and enough effort for om the family members, at first the gambler might even show less concern about their advice and pressure but I believe with the time he'll realize himself. Though there are still some gamblers out there that family pressure, love nor advise from family members could change their decision about gambling. Besides, gambling addiction doesn't literally mean a gambler who is prone to loses, a gambling addict can even make huge wins that has been his reason for becoming a gamble addict.
Family and friends have a very good role to play in helping gamblers get rid of their bad and unhealthy addiction for those who has gotten to the level of addiction. Although it may be slow and take some time because it will require a continuous pressure to get them to stop, but then it will eventually help and in some cases they quit as a result of the pressure mounted on them.

Sometimes some gamblers quit almost immediately they are been advised by their families to quit but some literally take some time to get in terms with the fact that their habit is affecting their relationship with their families huge wins amidst trying to quit is a huge motivation to keep them gambling because they will always want to try.again if they could be lucky the next time but then it may be their unlucky trial. Some gamblers at just adamant about quitting and it will take their self decision to quit.

Gambling addiction is not a simple habit to get over. Despite the pressure from the family members, which is good, the gambler will resist at first. The context of the pressure also matters in helping the addict. Pressure in the sense of forcing or scolding the addict to stop, will only make the healing process very much difficult to yield results. Those who use kind words and engage in discussion with the gambler, still have difficulty in curing the addict. Gambling addiction is a chronic disease and affects most gamblers for a long time before the family discovers that their ward is addicted. The gambler doesn't share his problem most often, and it toughens the process of finding out, and he'd think that his family would scold him if he opened up about his problems. Hence having a simple and consistent conversation with the addict helps so much in changing a gambler who is struggling to change. If he's not yet ready to change or stop gambling, the process may be bad and he won't stop anytime soon. A lucky family would be working on therapy with their addicted ward who is also interested in changing.

The main issue is on the addict, not just about whether the family would put some effort into curing him. Therapists are not magicians, they need the collaboration of their client to be able to heal the addiction. The same is true with a family, trying to help their child, if he's not complying with treatment, the whole therapy session would be a waste of time, and he'd resist them for trying to talk him down on gambling. In a situation where the gambler is adamant, even to a therapist's healing techniques. The only solution would be reaching out to the person the gambler loves the most. A person who can create a bond with the addicted person easily. It's the fastest means of establishing a good therapy for problem gamblers. Consistent conversation with the person will then change their thoughts on gambling for a while, and then the person can issue strong responses to the person's complaints, about what he feels in gambling addiction. Humans easily share their problems with people they can trust or love. Hence, a gambler's best therapist could be his best friend.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 24, 2023, 08:08:30 PM
I came across on YouTube where a gambling casino social influencer was streaming about a casinos platform.
He literally brought out his phone and was illustrating to the audiences that it is just few steps to take the winning on your games which is making choice of your predictions, choose amount to bet and also indicate his hashtag referral code and click on confirm.
Immediately you get credited directly to your account that just you won.
I just smiled but I want to ask, how many of you guys develops interests on a particular casino platform due to the influence of the casinos streamers?

I don't allow streamers and their advertisements to affect my gambling life. Most of the time, when I come across those people advertising and showing how they make big wins from gambling, I also try my best to avoid such videos and scroll to the next one in order to not get attracted to the game.

So I have never been affected by watching online streamers because most of the time I don't believe what they show on their screen, as their video is to make money and nothing more than that. Some casinos pay them to advertise for them, and some are earning from referrals, so they can do anything just for them to earn more money and add to their pocket, which is why I don't allow myself to fall victim to their trap.

The streamers are making multiple streams of income through gambling; affiliate, sponsorship deals, ads, etc. Hence, it's not just about whether we are moved by their video but the money they make using the streaming platforms. Casinos work with them and may manipulate results on their behalf to please the viewer to try out the casino. I read that casinos also fund the streamer's bankroll to make videos while gambling. The streamer doesn't gamble with his money. He'll have enough confidence to wager any amount of money. If it gets positive his results would be high and great, attracting the naive gamblers, looking to turn millionaires through gambling. Your decisions are great because, watching the streaming pages, can be tempting in making a viewer lose his control. Scrolling away from the pages would be the nicest move. Especially for newbies who don't understand why the streamers are winning too many times.

Since they're investing lots of effort and time to do a good job for the casinos that hire them, people will fall for their tricks and gamble prematurely. Members under this thread have made lots of responses that they can't be moved by such a video, and I expected to see more of these answers because gamblers here are mostly pros and newbies and are being enlightened on the risk of gambling with lots of money. Not all the viewers on the streamer's page have the prilviledge to understand what's happening behind the scene. Some would view and try immediately. With the trend of people complaining about the streamers, I think the rate of addicted gamblers who joined gambling due to streamers just increased. And to get things straight, they don't stop watching these streamers after joining the casino, they still participate to find out the strategy of the casino streamer. Later they end up accusing the streamer of causing their problem gambling.

Gambling works differently for every gambler, I'd commend you for sharing the strategies and for winning. But some gamblers may not reason the same way as you do, or win if they follow your strategies. The house can be tricky, while a player who hasn't mastered this strategy, wants to participate in the method he will get confused along the line if the results begin to get abstract. Following your strategy, and the win follows with a loss then a win, how would the gambler be able to determine what to do in this instance? As you said, we should increase our wager a little more if the win comes, but in a situation where a loss follows, the gambler would lose a little more of his normal wager. The topic of your thread, is important, although it sounds different from your thread, as a gambler needs to understand when to stop gambling in every session. Making out time, let's say 5 hours for gambling, and sticking to the time is crucial, and that would be considered knowing when to close the casino tap on our gadget.

The day's total outcome after the duration is over, shouldn't bother the gambler, as he's made a budget for it. If he wins, then he can add to his bank roll then enjoy more fun gambling. Gamblers should always use the period of gambling to monitor how the machines work or if they can notice how long it takes for a win result to arrive. Slot games most times have proven that it's not mainly about being a good and lucky predictor but being an excellent observer can help you create a fine gambling strategy that works. Gambling strategies are special and should be customized to only one gambler. The OP may have done his part of the research and found what works for him, kudos! It's left for other gamblers to try doing their best and enjoy a fun gambling experience. However, whenever testing a strategy it's important to test the waters with smaller funds. Don't jump into a river with your both legs.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features of the worldview of a gambler on: December 24, 2023, 07:15:22 PM
One thing I know about gamblers and its addicts is that there is the believe and zeal to win is always there. They are optimistic to win and that is why they another game for next round try and unfortunately winning is not given on a platter of gold so either they fail more or they are just within a fair luck here and there as we know the house edge override the possibility for a winning over losing. There is a believe to win and that is why the next game is queued up without recourse to loses, debt loans or emotional stability.

The fact that the chance is always there to win is what make most people coming back and especially gamblers following that win. They of course have a pathological optimism that brings them to the casino again despite several heavy losing sessions before and if they did not have it then it means they would be more practical and pragmatic to stop playing or coming back to play at the casino, they lack also analysis of what just happened to them as they pass it as something normal when in fact it is not normal to lose a lot of money yet they think in the next session they will recover that money which is what leads to them coming back and back asking for more until they get addicted, they are pretty readable, the gamblers.

Yes and in this light one would wonder if optimism is used in the right sense by gambling addicts or that they are miss using it and allowing it to work on them wrongly because when you see that you have lost 1,2,3 and more times but you decide to be positively optimistic to stay and keep trying on it, on what the basis is luck.

Optimistic is suppose to be used for what you can have little or some control and then you add or strengthen your effort to make it work. For example if you have failed in an example and you know you didn't prepare very well for the exam, hence you can be optimistic to pass next time because you know you had no effort in the first time and that if you strengthen your effort the next time then you are likely to pass but gambling is not that way because the effort is not on your on influence or control and this is why addicts keep going deep as optimistic gamblers.

Having a strong hope that their gambling addiction is positive, puts them into a more serious gambling problem. The journey of gambling addiction is quite difficult, to the extent that they won't accept their problems. The losses don't count to the addicts, all they hope on is the future winning. Human brains are not programmed to reason differently. Whatever is expected of the brain to do in one aspect of life, it will also similarly do in another. That is why if we are pursuing a goal our brain won't stop until it's achieved. Hence in gambling the brain executes similar actions, thereby pushing gamblers to continue gambling not minding the disadvantages. And the house is also aware of the reaction of the brain towards gamblers, especially when chasing for a win. So, just asking addicts whether they're addicted or not, doesn't help any of them to heal. It's only a way of deriving a view for the show presenters.

Doing that is more of a way of escalating the problem to more people who watch the show. As Op mentioned, these people lack control and already don't feel remorse for their problems. It's normal to see addicts who don't feel a thing about losing much money in gambling. Life is normal to them, even they'll think that nonaddicts are the silly ones, not them. Addiction works strangely, the brain has been restructured to love gambling more than anything else. Hence no need to expect a negative answer from an addicted gambler about what he feels about his bad habit. Unless he's now on the near line of escaping addiction, he'll always be proud of gambling. Nobody hates what they truly love. Hence, since the continuous effort doesn't yield any positive result, it's not enough to stop the player from gambling, even though it's causing him much trouble each day. Building a relationship with the addict is great in saving him from problem gambling.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 23, 2023, 05:19:38 PM
I have heard stories about casino streamers online and most times people call them names and only one or twice I've ever seen where people say good things about a streamers, they used the same platform the streamer use in his video and they get almost the same result using the streamer strategy.

Streamers are playing a huge roll in the gambling space, they easily attracts a lot of people but I just understand myself, as I don't want to become too attached with gambling, the best gift in life is understanding who you really are and stay away from somethings that can easily lead you astray, gambling is one of those things for me, so I don't give streamers the attention because I don't want to get addicte to gambling.

The reason why I am able to walk away from gambling and come back whenever I feel like is because I don't believe my fate is entwined with gambling, in fact I don't believe that I can make any thing good from gambling than having some fun and getting rid of some free time.

Gambling streamers are just like any other marketer for casino businesses. And they're generating lots of traffic for casinos and most of them earn huge amounts of money as compensation from the platform. However, they've been getting lots of negative feedback or publicity lately compared to when they first got famous in the gambling niche. I've never been attracted by streamers, but have been invited to watch streamers play some games, and I would be paid $10 for watching. But later, I discovered that the casino doesn't pay the viewer the promised $10 for watching the streamer play games. Since that occurrence, I've never been interested in viewing streamers or utilizing any casino they are promoting. Although things got different, when players discover that the casino these streamers promote doesn't provide enough wins like the streamers portray them in their videos.

That's where the problem began and newbie gamblers blamed them for deceiving them. However, I don't have any reason to condemn streamers as they've done nothing wrong. They only recommended and didn't force anybody to use the promoted casino. Where it only gets wrong or bad, is using the medium to promote a scam new casino to their audience. Other than that it's all a way of reaching out to people. Internet users are now moved by what they see. They mainly believe people with high followers count and trust them once shown that they're making lots of money. I think casinos saw this as a nice strategy for promoting their platform and luring people to participate in gambling. Moreover, the naive players now join gambling with no prior information on gambling. The streamers don't teach them about responsible gambling. Hence they'll join as high rollers like the streamers do, and the newbie will end up losing out on the bet.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: December 23, 2023, 05:03:54 PM
Family factors may be able to help gambling addicts to stop temporarily if their financial condition is unstable or insufficient, but it depends on the attitude of the gambling addict himself. Sometimes there are also selfish gamblers who only think about themselves and only want to carry out their gambling activities so that they can do more. setting aside money for gambling rather than thinking about their family, there are rarely addicts who can really stop even though their financial condition is unstable and there are even those who are desperate to take out loans just to continue their activities this is for chronic addicts. But for ordinary addicts it's normal and they can still do it advised that they can stop due to various factors and one of them may be to meet the needs of the family.

On my point it is not sometimes but most of the time, gambling addicted individual are selfish becuase they are just caring with what they want and they will push to continue even they already wasting money when they are in sessions, I think people who have this kind of situation needs to continue being close to their love ones, the pressure that those people provide will help to realize that there's already a problem that needed to address.

Just need to make sure that the person that have that kind of issue is willing to submit his situation and have that self-will to work with anyone who's giving aid to help.

The condition of some gamblers is not interesting and would need the intervention of loved ones to help save them gambler from addiction. Because the player is no longer in control of his actions. Mental disorders can lead to problems and misfortunes for most gamblers. The lifestyle of gambling addicts doesn't differ, they have similar risks and are prone to taking loans for gambling purposes. The aim of gambling is tarnished by these gamblers. Their attitude spoils the impression people have of gambling if they had. Addiction is chronic and takes a long time to heal. Even if a player opens up to his loved ones or family, they'll still spend lots of money trying to cure or save him from living a terrific lifestyle. The selfishness erupts in them because their brain only revolves around gambling and the player won't be able to help it. In most cases, the family of the gambler won't know of this, because they fail to be attentive or observant of their close friends. I don't understand, Fredomago, what you mean by ordinary addicts, but I'd say that in your response it could mean that they are just new to gambling addiction.

The only difficult aspect of such addiction is that only a few addicts would be able to find out that they're now addicted to gambling.

Mainly, most gamblers figure out about their problem gambling, when in the middle of it, and won't be able to change easily. If the player is lucky enough to find out early, then he's still a bit in control of himself, then he's not yet fully an addicted gambler. Families are great resources when we find ourselves in certain life-troubling situations like gambling. But, it's always a turn in their flesh, because they'll have to take care of all the mistakes of their ward or loved one. Imagine in a situation where the gambler has taken loans, his family will have to pay off the debt. Hence it's not always easy to find a family that'll heartedly help a gambling addict. The problem mainly revolves around blame and accusations. Either the family blames the gambler for his problems or the addict accuses his family of putting him in such a hard condition. Both parties may not accept the responsibility. Thereby increasing the problem.

1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 23, 2023, 04:35:56 PM

Nobody is happy about losing money, but with the right techniques, one shouldn't bother about spending money on gambling. Wagering money bit by bit shouldn't make us sad when we lose the funds, as the amount of money wouldn't be enough to swing our mode. Addiction is the main cause of this, yes. The player may have gotten so attached to gambling, emotionally, that the results now represent his happiness or sadness. He is very happy if there is a win and vice versa after a loss. Gamblers who allow themselves to be under this type of condition should seek help like Op did. We all have these symptoms in us, and being able to discover them earlier on is a good thing for the gambler. Most players would be carried out, with the loss of control and won't be able to notice their problem. Instead, they'll blame it on some other things. Believing that gambling won't be able to get them into such a situation, will only worsen the situation. Using alcohol to change our mood or distract the emotions from such thoughts, could be like adding insult to injury, to most victims.

Alcohol addiction can be created out of it, causing double trouble for the gambler. The addict may now have to drink whenever he finds himself in such an emotional trauma. And this kind of changes he'll be experiencing often. So, that may not be a good alternative, and alcohol doesn't stop gambling addiction. What OP did in this thread is among the best methods of healing himself from addiction, talking to people, and seeking advise. Moving forward, I'd tell him to get his family involved and let them know about his problem. Addiction is not healed by hiding it from people around us. What we get from forums or special interest boards isn't enough to change our behavior. If he's able to notice his problem, then he's still under control of himself, what is required of him is to change his actions towards his kids, instead of being aggressive he can switch it to joy or engaging in fun activities with the children.

If your intention in playing gambling is to make money here and rely on luck, you will definitely not be happy when you lose playing in a casino, whether it is online or physical gambling. Because you have something to gain from playing.

But there are other gamblers who believe that when the only purpose of their gambling is to have fun, it doesn't mattfunor be a big deal to them if they lose in gambling; their satisfaction is enough; that's theirs.

The trouble increases, in all walks of life, once a person thinks of money in any activity he ventures into. Money is a secondary part of anything. In economics, it's said by Adam Smith that money makes people selfish that's why they can go to work every day. Without the need to make money, people wouldn't have been waking up in the morning, taking a shower, and queueing in traffic for hours till they got to their offices. The same thing applies to gambling. It's true people gamble for money. But, there is a fine line of difference between a gambler who is there to learn and a gambler who is only focused on money. The same applies in the corporate world. Most people are not comfortable with their job, not for anything else, because the pay is less. Have you noticed that when the pay gets increased the same person won't be happy, in the long run, because they have no initial aim of participating or being part of the company? Gamblers are like this too, most gamblers even when the money arrives would still get sad or frustrated in the long run for losing the whole money back to gambling.

They blame themselves forgetting that it's just the way it is for gamblers. The same experience serves as an experience to us as gamblers because it's not under our control anymore to just win and stop gambling. The game continues and doesn't stop anytime soon. If a newbie starts gambling with the sole aim of earning money and doesn't see or earn any bucks through gambling, he'd be uncomfortable with gambling or even stop gambling prematurely. But, if he gets few winnings, along the line, you'd notice that he'd continue gambling and wouldn't mind if he's losing more than he's won. The winning only registers in his head, that gambling indeed offers money to people and could be a source of earning money. Hence he'll put all his efforts into earning big through gambling. Added to the numerous big wins of other gamblers sampled on the casino websites. He won't have any reason to control himself until he gets himself into trouble or maybe gets aggressive due to anxiety.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 23, 2023, 04:12:33 PM
But in spite of everything that is happening in the ecosystem of the gambling industry, there are still many gamblers who play even though they know that they often lose because they still hope that they will get lucky eventually; that's how they motivate themselves.

They? That's us, right? unless you aren't a gambler. Personally, I do enjoy gambling if only I win, and if I lose, I would consider it as a challenge and that makes more interested in gambling. However, overtime, I know what kind of gambling to choose as there are skilled based and luck based gambling, of course we choose those skilled based as that gives us a real chance, so for me, I'm more focus into sports betting, continuously finding the working strategy and hoping that one day I'll able to discover it.

Sticking to sports betting and learning everything about our team, the league and the big tournaments will eventually give us an edge and should make us long term money. Everybody needs to decide for himself how much money he is willing to risk. Having a fixed budget in relation to our monthly income makes a lot of sense and I would only consider gambling more if my income or my bankroll goes up. It's all about statistics, because the more we gamble the closer we will get to our expected values. This doesn't mean that we can't get lucky and get a big win. It's just that the number of gamblers achieving that is very small, similar to the number of gamblers getting a big loss. The majority of gamblers will land in the middle of the distribution, either getting a small win or a small loss.

Whatever interests a gambler, is good for him, so far he doesn't misuse his techniques. Gamblers can lose and still gamble for more wins. If the player overuses the strategy or wants to get the win in one day, it can be bad in the long run, as he'll run short of money. He may not be able to win during the period of gambling in a day, as the game of gambling requires full-fledged thoughts of mind and a cool brain to think correctly and predict the right move to choose. Gamblers, in high quantity, gamble for a longer period, because it generates money in the long run. But the actual game should be the other lessons like Mauser said; learning about his team and improving his horizon on sports-related matters. This shows the other importance of gambling. Most players already developed a new life outside of gambling, because they are gamblers. Sometimes, I'd be able to act according to what I've learned through gambling.

So, when we lose, it's not bad to continue playing, but it should be moderated for our good. Which remains the context of the thread. After reading the few links on the OP I was enlightened on the importance of money management for gamblers. If a gambler loses 1% of his earnings on gambling, he wouldn't have much anxiety, stress, or regret. He can easily forgo the money, and try again another month. I think it's enough to define gambling, as doing something that won't be like a burden to us, but instead a fun and source of relaxation. Whenever we are rewarded with a win, we'll know that we already generated another money to add up to the money we already crafted out for gambling. Thereby increasing the amount of money on our bankroll. Hence, going for the big win with a small money may be less possible, but the same low wagers can give us more fun than those wagering huge amounts and chasing more money.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot games are a waste of time and money (most of the time) on: December 23, 2023, 03:19:26 PM
And that is the scary part, every single gambler out there has experimented losses and thought about betting a little bit more to give themselves the chance to recover the money they have lost, however the majority of the gamblers can control themselves and avoid doing so, while a minority decides to follow those feelings and that is when they start a journey that is bound to not end well, as even if they do not become addicted they will lose way more money than what they wanted during that session.
It is best for those who have experienced losses from gambling to think about whether they have gambled excessively and should try to reduce the amount of their losses. If they can reduce the number of losses, it is lucky for them to use a small part of their money to play slots so that they don't feel that playing slots wastes their time and money.

What is important in playing slots is how we can control ourselves well. We can easily lose self-control when playing slots because we experience consecutive losses. It can make us want to continue playing slots to recover the money lost in slot games and there are even some gamblers who choose to deposit their money again to recover their losses. They may also need to set an alarm as a marker and reminder that their time has run out playing slots so they have to stop playing slots immediately. Otherwise, they will only experience more defeats.

How many times do we hit the snooze button when our alarm rings first thing in the morning? Gambling can be cherished the same way we do to sleep. Gamblers who have lost control over the fun they get through gambling won't be able to obey the alarm when it rings, provided they still have some funds left on their card. I prefer telling compulsive gamblers to stay clear from their cards when gambling. Maybe keep it somewhere they won't bother about looking for the money. Or better still have a disciplined family member hold the card, and instruct them never to release it until when the card is needed for something else other than gambling. Left for the gambler, he won't stay without depositing more money to his gambling account. Most gamblers may be able to control their urge to chase losses, but the few minorities who can't have been loaded with more funds. Gambling can't be played without money.

And most people who stop to gamble, do so, for money reasons or purposes. Hence, they tend to stop, because their money has been exhausted, and they have nothing left even in the bank. So, when a low roller who has lost his money in gambling, and only depends on money to control his urge for gambling. That means he's lost control, but money helps him enforce the control, by dismissing him from gambling for the time being. If the player is faced with other financial responsibilities and needs to buy food or pay bills, he'd have a regret on why he spent all his money on gambling. But once he gets another money, he'd forget he's not solved some underlying pending problems and rush to gamble some more. With the belief that he'd get some jackpot to cover all his bills. Gamblers in this category are mainly slot players as they enjoy the fast return on slot games. The results are instant and they'll have to hope on their next spin, to be a breakthrough.
1279  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 23, 2023, 02:50:25 PM
Only the internal workers would know about the money generated by a casino. Don't think that we gamblers need to be worried about that, as it's mainly not our concern. We are supposed to focus on the services the casino provides. If they don't give out quality services the gamblers can demand to know what's happening behind the scenes. But, for the financing, it's risky, because the hackers already are informed of the amount of money these casinos own, but reminding them could be dangerous to the casino. When hackers start seeing such a huge amount, it'll drag their interest to the casino. As it stands, hackers are trying on different casinos and the vulnerable ones could be hacked successfully. It would be disappointing to notice that after spending so much money to hack a casino site they won't be able to generate enough money to cover for the tools used in hacking. However, I know less about hacking, but sure that some of the requirements to hack a site demand money.

Hence, not all hackers would have the finance to execute a planned hack on a casino they're not aware of the amount of money they could steal from them. Just like in banks, thieves don't visit unless they're aware of the money available. Every casino has its hackers that help to protect them against attack, so the time frame to steal money from a casino may be less before their hackers can gain back power over the website. So, whatever means of stealing money on the internet is not easy and may not be worth the stress if enough information is not available. You can't assume that a particular department has money and move ahead to hack them. That's why they use social engineering to target staff who may be victims of information derivation.

Ok, let's consider the following hypothetical situation.
We have:
a) Mid-rank online casino (financial statements are “hidden”);
b) 3-5 wins in a very short period of time in the amount of $500K-1.5M each.
Our casino simply does not have such funds in operational circulation and it starts dancing with KYC/AML for the winners. I, as a winner, really want to get my winnings and try to fulfill the requirements presented to me by the casino as much as possible. However, each time the requirements change a little and are supplemented. As a result, we have that the winner cannot receive his winnings in an adequate time frame (or at all) because the casino does not have the funds to pay off all or at least one winner. But if the winners had information in advance about the lack of funds from the casino, then they would have taken (if they had taken at all) other steps to obtain a legitimate winning, and would not have tried to fulfill the humiliating demands of the casino every time. This is the reason why I believe that casinos should disclose their operational turnover.

Now I understand your point when you said a casino should disclose its operational turnover. I've seen some casinos that share all their winnings on a dashboard. Many complaints have been laid by gamblers across all platforms like this forum and review site of not getting paid after winning a huge amount of money. The casino seeks numerous documents or even accuses the gambler of breaking their terms of service. The question remains, why would a casino lock an account after the owner wins a jackpot close to the amount you mentioned? All the while they've been using the casino, the account wasn't locked for breaking rules, until the player won big. It's indeed a questionable occurrence, but you need to understand that some brand-new casinos won't be able to keep up with paying such big amounts to a winner, or else the casino will crumble. It's not simple to release close to a million dollars to a gambler who won using a few thousand dollars. Even when they do, the casino would want to milk from the publicity by hosting a TV show or online interview with the winner holding a large cheque.

The casino would use that means of advertisement to regain the money. That's why new casinos are not recommended for gamblers. Casinos that have proven the test of time can have the ability to pay out that amount of money because they've accumulated enough customers to be able to generate millions in one day. However, you wouldn't expect a casino to come out plain and inform gamblers that they've got no money to pay them. It sounds embarrassing and the casino would also run out of business. Hence, I don't see it as a good idea for a casino, to grow. In a nutshell, the casino should delay the payment for few more days, than bring up a series of blames on the gambler that will lead to not getting paid.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 23, 2023, 10:53:04 AM
I don't think there is a "specific" type of gambling that's more addictive than the other. It really goes down to personal preferences and what triggers the gambling urge in an individual. But just like a drug addict might not be picky about their substance of choice, a gambling addict could be drawn to any form of gambling that's accessible to them. However, yeah, there are some types of gambling that are designed to be particularly "enticing". Look at the Slot machines. They often feature captivating sounds/music, and animations that create an exciting atmosphere for the gamblers. They also give players the illusion of "near-wins" and make them feel like they're just close to winning a big jackpot, encouraging them to keep playing.

The OP is not asking what specific game is more addictive but rather what specific game which is being played by most of the gambler. It’s very easy to determine this since casino games have different characteristics and you can easily spot which is the most popular upon every players due to its promotion in the casino.

I think everyone will agree that Slot games has the most number of players using it in daily basis compared to the rest of the casino games. Sportsbook is indeed popular but it’s not addictive due to its time of waiting for the result.

Slots is also the game which being market hard by the casino because they knew gamblers really like jackpot type game even with the use of small bet.

What you point out is correct. Most of the games that entertain gamblers over and over again are usually in the category of slot games, because there are many game choices in slot games that are relatively easy to win.

Even though I often play slot games, when you get lucky, you will be able to multiply the amount of your bet a lot. This has happened to me several times. Although I don't always hope to win gambling, it's my second happiness because I usually just play for fun. Although sometimes I take home gambling winnings,.

Slot games are more like Esports games. Games with immediate results have the most possibility of getting players addicted. A slot player can be carried away by quick results and won't mind the reduction of his deposited money, due to losses, and enjoy the fun of playing slots as it requires no prior skill to participate in the game. Sometimes I couldn't go a day without playing slot games with my girlfriend. The winning creeps in from time to time, but we lose out both time and money, due to the fast return of results. The football game doesn't get people easily addicted to gambling, because of the time they'll have to wait for the game to be over. But one thing is certain about sports gambling, it leads to anxiety faster than slot games. When watching soccer with a gambler, his modes and emotions are so much attached to the match, that he'll be involuntarily unhappy if a player fails to pass a ball correctly or score a goal. Such experiences are not conducive to the health of the gambler, and even if he doesn't gamble all the time like a slot gambler, he could get addicted, as a result of the previous game.

One other mistake of sports gamblers is the lack of attention to the history of a team, most of them gamble for the money and are less concerned about the formations of the team they're staking money on their match. Hence the gamblers, mostly low rollers, end up betting on games they won't watch. Regardless of the anxiety of watching the games they booked, losing consistently also exposes the gambler to being addicted. That means they'll have to gamble every weekend or even weekdays for teams or leagues they don't know anything about their origin or history. Slots can be controlled, as the results happen fast, but sports betting only gets worse coupled with the anger of losing a match. Football has this natural passion in both players and spectators that sometimes I see people cry over a football match.
