As this is a cpu-only coin, a standard cpu will be enough. thank you so much after I install the miner app. Do i need to change some setup files? Depends on total network hashrate and if you are mining solo or in a pool.  but in general, you can se an i7 (depending on which gen of i7) will give you about 30-35 kh/s over all 8 threads Welcome in our awesome Magi community. |

"Magi coin has an active development team and community of users. It also has an unique algorithm thats resistant to large mining whales. If pascalcoin can be listed, I believe Magi Coin deserves a spot. Please reconsider!"
I will be looking to re-buy after this dust settles, because tbh delisting seems like a death notice atleast for the short-term.

Maybe the reason is the average volume of last 4 months were very small, which caused this delist. Accept or not, this is the reality. we don't have any choice but even it will be delisted from polo there's still a lots of exchange who still supporting the project might be possible that a huge impact will hit the value for now but if the dev delivers and provide more progress there's still a lots of potentials for this project. Thanks Golftech. I will look into the exchanges and remember Magi is also on Bittrex, Cryptopia and NovaExchange. |

You are right - I feel with you there - I also didn't hear that Polo changed their mind about a coin before - no harm in trying though... Actually we still have a chance. Everybody with account on Polo should create support ticket asking why they are delisting xmg. I will do it later today. As we can see they sometimes change their mind. For us Xmg community it doesnt matter if Xmg is on Polo or not. But it is important for potential new community members. Right words xinwao. The more support tickets the better. |

That's the issue. The issue is the damage suffered by Poloniex's customers. Their customers' best interests were not protected, rather it looks more like they were raped by the exchange itself.
All this looks indeed like something premeditated. Since the release of the new wallet the price was growing steadily and suddenly *boom*: the announcement it's going to be delisted and (I don't want to debate it was before the announcement or after) the huge dump. What I want to say is that not only Poloniex customers were affected. The shock wave have hit all the exchanges (and I guess that the quicker ones made some easy money buying @ Polo and selling on all the other exchanges). The coin is good, there's active development on it, so with or without Poloniex the coin has still a great potential. But also I think that instead of searching who's guilty for what we should indeed act and try to keep the coin at Poloniex, since this gives people more trust in the coin. Thats right Neuroticfish. We can only try to keep Magi on Polo. In the mean time we will continue working on the future of Magi. |

Magi is going to do great! Just look at the bittrex volume so far. Its doing pretty well on Polo too right now, price back to 3300 (at least compared to the other coins I had on there) Yes, but why Polo is delisting the coin, till now there is no response from Polo admin. Is there any rule in Polo that we have to reach a minimum in order to continue the coin Polo. After delisting news, it is doing good in Bittrex, at least they need to reply to dev's. The news does sound uncomfortable, and sort of sad, that one decision could make so much difference just in seconds, and not just us but many too. I recalled the time when they are yet gaining the popularity we had some associations with them, talking about listing XMG with submission through web, reviewing in IRC, etc. I guess this isn't their style any more. While I'm nowhere certain how I can be effective, I'll certainly talk to them.
Please give us an update when you talked with them. Haven't got a response from them on my support request. Thanks Joe. Let us continue with Magi. With our awesome Magi community we are strong and will become stronger. |

I think we should look at getting Magi on to one of the decentralised exchanges like bitsquare - at least there we wont have to worry about delisting.

Unfortunately, very low volume. Polo controls all the market of BTC and alts trading. As I know Waves are working on DEX and it seems to bu much better. I hope some volume could go there because to trade crypto (decentralized) on centralized and manipulated entity is kind of perversion. Cryptopia seems to be making a bit of a name for itself with some other coins that I'm working with [IXC/EGC] - didn't check the magi volume or liquidity on there for a while - but that could a new place to get a decent amount of volume. It seems that decentralised exchanges may start to take off in a bigger way in the next couple of years - maybe its good to get listed and add some liquidity there beforehand Cryptopia is a nice exchange with XMG |
