1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guns from the Paris Attacks, bought using Bitcoin ? on: December 06, 2015, 03:30:11 PM
I have been exploring the dark web recently (this was actually how I came across Bitcoins in particular). From what I have seen without even trying to find it, you could easily buy guns, drugs and many other stuff over there.
Ok, you can buy such stuff with bitcoin it doesn't mean bitcoin is illegal, before bitcoin was release there was not terrorist, drug dealers, or any illegal activity ? bitcoin is not reason for this, people always find ways. so there is nothing wrong with bitcoin but with people,we can't blame bitcoin for this.it depends on user how they use it, there are many people using it for innovation and legal use.

buyer should be careful when buying such high account and never trade in rush because you was offered a good price

1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 14, 2015, 06:04:36 PM
I guess the bitcoin price will increase soon especially after the next halving, that's why i believe holding some bitcoins isn't bad idea and can make us some profit sooner or later

Yeah that is true, bitcoins price would reaching to a next level in the coming months so I am holding my bitcoins for the price increase as it gonna get us some good profits in the coming future, So it is better to save and hold bitcoins for the future.
1271  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: November 07, 2015, 04:55:21 PM
Bitcoin highly speculative

Gold has been a store a value for thousands for years.

It depends what you want to do with you money.

Bitcoin is highly speculative now and in the near future. When it is used more, the price will stabilize, and become less volatile. It will be similar to gold.

What you are saying that is true but we are here talking about the future investment tool that which product will survive for a longer time and if we compare both than I would pick that gold over the bitcoins as it is very traditional and people have more faith on gold as compared to the bitcoins.
1272  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: November 06, 2015, 07:06:46 AM
Gosh! The pay rates have decreased to 0.0007 BTC for senior members? Glad that it gets reflected in the next payment and not the current one.

The price rose by over 100% and payments decreased by 30%, after several weeks of a rising price. I think that's fair enough.

not with the limit, without the limit yes i don't care about the rate, but the limit really kill this campaign....

Anyone is free to leave at any time.

marco why i am not able to view my uid in bitsig.website?
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: August 27, 2015, 11:20:49 PM
I have recommended bitcoin to 10 my best friend only 2 interested buy bitcoin

Friends who would be having a great vision would surely accept bitcoins, and would start collecting information regarding bitcoins, but the friends who are lazy or who are super rich and already have a good bank balance would surely would not entertain bitcoins as they are already having fun with fiat, so they would feel that they are wasting their time in bitcoins.
1274  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoins has a great future in India? on: August 27, 2015, 11:17:16 PM
Bitcoin is hit by a rule of the RBI regulations in India. As per the current law banking institutions can only release any prepaid payment instruments. In some senses bitcoin may be considered a prepaid payment instrument because to get bitcoin you need to initially make payment in either dollars or rupees or any other currencies. Current RBI regulations do not permit this.

However there is nothing which prevents people from trading and using bitcoin among themselves. For example, if you are offering services for me and are willing to take payment in bitcoin that cannot really be prevented. Remember however that if we enter into a contract which says that you will be paid in bitcoin, that contract will not be valid because the compensation is not recognized by law.

I think as of now it is not so popular but sooner or later it may become popular  Wink

That is true, and I believe that people must be using bitcoins for online transactions but are not disclosing it that they are already using it, but if people in India starts accepting and adopting bitcoins than it can have a greater impact on bitcoin community, as we want that more and more users gets involved into bitcoins as we want that the value of bitcoin should be stable in future.
1275  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: August 27, 2015, 11:12:06 PM
no I don't have 1 Bitcoin till now..but since i am sr.member now so I will now make atleast 0.5btc from my weekly savings..hope someday I will able to save upto 1 whole bitcoin in my lovely wallet

0.5 a week by being Sr Member? thats a ton of posts daily. I don't think it's viable long term. You'll get tired and eventually give up because flipping burgers in McDonalds pays more for way less effort.

Yes that is true, that is too much of posting and not irrelevant too, and if you are saying that you have one senior member account and you are earning 0.5 weekly than that is too much of posting dude, I hope you don't get banned by over posting, the only advice is that make constructive posts which would be informative and add value to the forum..
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: August 27, 2015, 11:09:02 PM
Hi!  Smiley
How BTC bitcoin developed in your country? Are there many people in your real life that you know that use BTC ?
I come from a India.Despite being the house of 1bn people I dont see much awareness about btc here.I have yet to meet someone in person who uses btc

Yeah that is true, I visited India few years back, and for my surprise no one was aware about the bitcoins, and I even didn't find a single physical shop that accepts bitcoins, So I was bit worried, and I asked many of my friends too who belongs to India but they said they have never heard about the bitcoins, So I believe that India has a huge population even half of the Indians starts using bitcoins it would be a great advantage for the bitcoin community.
We already discuss about this in this thread main problem is infrastructure this is not giving access to common peoples and most of peoples have no information about this bitcoin

Yeah and no one is taking a step ahead to make them aware about the bitcoins, and if they recommend them, people simply just back out and show no interest in knowing something innovative and creative, as they are very much satisfied with their monthly income and don't want to experiment with their hard earned money and that is the problem bitcoin is facing at a moment.
1277  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: August 27, 2015, 11:04:49 PM
Yes, i believe to that bitcoin will not stop here. this is the first time that the price go down. The bitcoin is spreading every day more and this a clear sign of its success. Its volatility is known it it will be such since the time when it will be well known and it will be mature as a currency. I will not sell my bitcoin.

That is true that we don't want to sell all our bitcoins as we believe that the value would reach to a next level in the future, but What in the case of emergency when you really need money? I think at that time we need to focus on our priorities and even if we need to sell a part of bitcoins that would not make a huge difference as we know we are capable of earning it in the future too  Grin
1278  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 27, 2015, 11:00:46 PM
100% bitcoin  Cool
I like bitcoin, because we can send it faster than gold, also we can sell and buy it without touching the physical of Bitcoin

That is true bitcoins have more advantage as compared to gold, but people have more faith in gold as an investment product, the only advantage bitcoin over gold have is you can carry infinite number of coins in your digital wallet but you cannot carry that amount of gold, or there would be a custom issue at the airport, but bitcoins is safe to carry.
1279  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: August 27, 2015, 10:56:32 PM
Low price of Bitcoins will attract new people to join the rally, now that a lot more people can afford to buy a ''Full Bitcoin''

I completely agree with you, this the right time for the newbies who wants invest in bitcoins as the prices have fallen down and if you hold a good capital than you can buy bitcoins in a bulk and keep it safe for the future, so even if the prices goes bit higher you can sell it off and earn profit out of it, So I believe this is the best time to invest in bitcoins.
1280  Economy / Economics / Do you think Bitcoins has a great future in India? on: August 27, 2015, 10:52:34 PM
Hello Friends,

Visited India few weeks back, and as we all know that it is a highly populated country, with some very great corporates and highly educated people, Some big IT companies also have their offices in India, But for my surprise very few of the population of India are aware about the bitcoins.

What could be the reason behind it?

Lack of awareness level
Government not supporting bitcoins
Banks not supporting too
Or people resist change

Looking at the population of India, If bitcoins gets positive feedback even from the half of the population from Indians, I believe it would a win - win situation for the bitcoin community.
