I hope you didn't pay them any money. If you want to 'found' a coin you really need to control the canonical repository, website and announcement thread/forum for it yourself. If you hire a programer to work on it don't give them access to the core repository. Take pull requests or patches for the changes they're making, sanity check them, then apply them yourself. I paid them, it's my coin. But they have access to the repo files. I thought that was normal. So thy hijacked my coin? How do I get ,y coin back them? There sayin they're helping me but I think programmer at is stealing my coin. But if he's not I can't accuse him of it since nobody else is helping me. How do I get control back of my coin? Somebody please help. You can ask for login credentials for the repo. As an alternative you could clone the existing repo and convince people that one is the official build. Beyond that not much. Also the idea that someone is stealing open source code is kinda silly. I checked, yup the copyright notice and MIT license are still included so the code is lawful. You don't own the code. The code is "owned" by the copyright holders going back to Satoshi and licensed openly via the MIT license. How can someone steal something you don't own? I understand open source but it sounds like they're outright using that legal loophole to outright steal my coin. Now do o stop them. O don't know how to do what you said. I'm putting money this is r3. I hope I'm not wrong but that's the vibe I got off him. It's not Shakezula. Why am I paying all the bounties and now I'm gonna pay for a professional artist to make the coin and maybe thousands for a PhD guy to make this into a real coin if its this easy for SOMENE to steal my coin.
And there isn't one single guy here who know how this works to step in and say this ain't right. I'm trying to work so hard to do what's right and deliver a good coin and nobody will step in and help me against these guys looking at getting rich overnight by stealing and while gaming my coin. Why don't they launch their own coin, they can obviously program.
Why did they target my coin? I don't get this. This hurts so much.

I can't believe what happens ing to be again. He's, nuggets is my coin i paid for it and I paid for all the bounties. Nobody helped me with a single dime. They just mock and laugh.
I want to think programmer Y is helping me but I have a bad feeling he's doing something to get rich which while destroying the coin or taking full control of it and stealing it from me. I don't know what to do cause if he's not trying to steal it maybe he's helping me and I don't want to chase the on,y guy away but if he's helping me why is he doing it secretly why isn't be communicating with me. Once a gain, this is fishy and this is why I accused them last time of funny business.
Legally I paid for that coin, its mine, they can't take it away.

Urgent question. I'm meeting that PhD forensic computer scientist tomorrow.
He's extremely busy so I may have 15 minutes to sell him on my coin.
What key things do I need to tell him. What key things, features do I need for my coin so its no longer a crap coin. You hate crap coins and so do I, so help me get rid of one crisp coin and maybe in the process get some real innovation, and I'll pay for it all since it's my mess.
What features should I ask him for to see if he's any good, to test his knowledge and skills? Is all this code C++ or what other code is necessary for the coin I mean?
What immediate things does this coin need right away to make it a serious not so much crap coin?
And finally, he's gonna wanna see some kind of code and I don't know what to show him.
Can you give me the links to what a programmer Y is working on - the code which shows my coin so he can see what's going on and and if its something he can do something for me at a glance?
Please help me with just this as it may help turn a crap coin into a real coin with some new innovation. I was dead serious when i said I wanted a real coin and not some get rich quick crapcoin.
The bad thing is that he thinks these alt coins are get rich quick scams so that's why I need something visual of my code so he can see I'm trying to do something real. If he can really program well we can have this kind of guy on this forum.
How many PhD forensic Scientists are worming on alt coins. If I can sell him on alt coins being the future my coin is not the only one that can benefit. This guy can bring a whole different perspective to alt coins, the kid of skill that. Ogles here can afford. This guy does contract work like a mercenary for the Feds, NASA, and anybody who can afford $300 per hour. This is a huge break so please prepare a list of questions and things this coins needs to be a real coin and I'll show it to him and if he says he can do it ill pay him even $2.000 to do it. At. $20 per hour that buys me 100 hours of coding. A pro can probably code 5 top grade features in that amount of time. I think.
I just don't want to meet with him and tell him: huh, I launched a clone shit coin like bitcoin and it failed can you fix it? He'll just laugh at me cause he things all these e coins are scams. I feel I can sell him and get him to do work for us but I need help Cause I don't know what to ask cause I don't know the language or what needs to be done. Imagine a guy like this doing work for devcoin or any other coin. It's hard to get there goes of guys to come to work for us at this point cause alt coins are seen as a joke and PhD guys like to keep their reputations made or gold. So self learned hackers are the best on the planet but I can't risk more money when my coin is almost dead. And lets face it, just like all college programmers - there's programmers and there's progra'mers. Same with self tight programmers. Some will shame a guy with a masters while others don't know jack. Since I don't know code I can't take anymore chances. If you look at my past codes this is what I've said so you have to be careful in here cause not all coders are great but you will find some that are as good as college grads but I don't have the time and money to find out. |

I think it is "programmer Y" who controls the github but i am not sure, maybe it actually is "programmer X" afterall. The hash rate is shown in the getmininginfo command's output. Everyone of course needs to compile a new client using the fixed code from the github else they will reject the superblocks / luckyblocks and thus fork onto a broken fork. -MarkM- Quick question. Since this is my coin, shodnt I control the github and rope or whatever that was called? I mean, if programmer Y controls it can't he do things which I can get blamed for later on? Someone told me there's ways to do insider coin buys without a anyone knowing. Or how about setting te outsells the golden blocks at the first 60 seconds so you know when to mine and have way better odds of getting them. It seems like the founder of the coin should be the one with sole access to the coding of that coin and if he's not a programmer it should be SOMENE solely appointed by the founder and in this case I didn't appoint anyone. So basically someone is playing God with my coin and if things go wrong again like the first time, the programmer is in the clear and I'm the scapegoat again. This doesn't seem right. Can a coin founder clarity? Would you let someone you don't know have full access to your Colin's github, rope (sic) and so on with not having any kind of community I cation of what's going on? He may be helping me out which is why I'm keeping shut but at the same time it does worry me a bit. I'm the fall guy once again if just one thing goes wrong. And I'm willing to net programmer Y dumped every coin I gave him while I didn't sell a single coin so its clear I'm in. One more question. This code looks like C++. Is that right?
What is the best and fastest way for me to lern it to some degree? Is a book like c++ for dummies the way to go? Can you recommend anything? Youtube tutorials? I know I'll never be a programmer, I'm too old to absorb info like I used to and I lack the interest which is crucial but I want to at least have an idea so Im not si easily stultified by everyone. Mark, do you know what level of programming skills I can expect from a guy getting his PhD in forensic computer science? To me to sounds more like so etching the Feds would use to gather info from damaged or deleted hardware so more of a hardware specialist.
I just don't want to pay a nu ch of money to a guy who in the end ,ay leave me worst off then I was before.
Since my wife cut me off I'm stuck selling personal things to lag for the stuff. Now this coin. So she's had it. And I don't want to sell my devcoins and there's no way, God help me, I'm not selling my ixCoins.
So I need a miracle. I'm gonna really Need to preay hard for God to help me out financially if this coin deal is from Him and if its not then I'm gonna pray for Him to kill it ASAP.
Remember I badly wanted to go SHA256 and I gave a more than 3 day head up notice and invited all hackers and hater of the coin to easure that if the coin was trash it would be killed fast. But everyone wanted scrypt.
Had I done what o thought was right and not listened to the miners this coin would have been killed in an hour and I wouldn't be in this humiliating pain right now wasting tons of money, time and the options trying to save a coin because I'm no good at giving up. And for liste king to everything they said, even telling programmer X to cancel all premine, I get cut down by all of them. No wonder no dev ever created a coin for the miners, they weren't naive like me and new they'd never be happy.
And how did programmer code for 1% premine and only half went through, that's part of what made me think I got played. And out of just half of the premine 500,000 was given away by programmer X for free as is customary I guess, which I had no problem with.
My problem was I got so much hate and heat for the premine and if I would at least have 4.4 ,Illinois coins, I could do some mad bounties with those nut instead all I have is 1.6 million and out of those a few hundred zk have already been ear marketed for bounties so I'm down to nearly just 1 million. Given they're not worth anything that pretty much nothing. But still don't get how it was coded for 1% and only half executed and I wasn't allowed access to my own coins for 2 days - anther weird thing but that was programmer Y not X. Like I said, I'd keep my eyes on Y, he's clever but he's got moves and he's quick on his feet and he gets stuff done. He didn't even have to ask and I would have given him More than he expected but I guess nobody expects that.

It's simply not the best self interest of our species. So with Programmer Y, although he's legit and cool and I appreciate what he's done I did feel like his was a clever dude so I'd definitely keep an eye out for any pump and pumping. I'm not trashing anyone and I could be totally wrong and I have no proof and as the guy returrd my coins and kept the little I paid him for his work nut it's just a gut feeling. But in the end it may be that kind of clever developer that gets this near dead nugget coin to the next level so he may end up doing actually a miracle while in the process looking to Make himself some money. |

open QT, go do window debug, go to console, type 'getmininginfo' Thanks bro, I'll Give it a shot. If I'm mining with a laptop what para,eters do I put in the windows QT thing to get it mine. Cause I put 12 and then 44 but left the rest of the spots blank and it doesn't mine. There's no pool and there's no reason for a password. Thanks a lot man. There is nothing to fix. The coder in control of the github already fixed nuggets long ago and has been running it ever since, it seems. -MarkM- But I thought there was a cut and paste problem and that's why the golden blocks weren't getting any random hits. You told me this like 3 hours ago or actually yesterday cause I promised to stay off my thread for 2-3 days. That would be such great news. Maybe it was a programmer X cause I talked to him and he said when he gets the cable installed he'll tasked a look at it. If anyone wants a programmer with less skills than mark but more than most here but it's utmost I the growth then Shakezula is the guy. He'll tell you upfront what he can and can't do, he's utterly honest c. My coin got botched up care it had a new lottery aspect I think and Shakezula list his Internet for a couple days and I misunderstood that to mean he bailed on me. But I would hire that guy again just based on his honesty and integrity and he is one if the better coders but I don't think he's a full blown programmer like I feel MarkM may be. |

I' waiting to hear back from a friend: a PhD forensic Computer Scientist but I'm not sure how much programming these guys know. And bedsides finishing up his PhD studies he's got a huge side project where he's building from the ground up a huge car size tlescope to see on the surfac of mars. He bought the lens from NAsa. Not sure where he got the money cause he's a broke student. Maybe he gets govt grants for research. But this guy, if he can really program should be able to really help me, but until I actually talk to him I'm still not giving up trying to get the VGB working on my coin and to get my server rot merge mine the coins Mark is talking about. Mark, if I give you a bounty and full remote access to my server can you set up this merge mine program that you're speaking of? There's no GPU In these servers so I don't know if its worth it. Otherwise I have to out an add on Craigslist and I don't want strangers in my house with little kids here and I don't know when the fore sic guy will get back to me since he's so busy. And I don't know if forensic scientists can even program all that well. Anybody know one, an they program really well? I need a really really good hacker type cause I wanna add great features to my nuggets coin. It'll probably cost me at least $20 per hour chide I heard he does research for firms and the feds for $300 per hour but since he's friend he's gonna cut me a break. All bitcoin miners who care about making more income from their bitcoin mining have been raking in this coin as a free extra on the side since way way back.
Essentially if you are a bitcoin miner you get to have namecoins, ixcoins, and devcoins thrown at you too if you use bitparking's merged mining pool.
Once upon a time you used to get I0Coins too, but who-ever cloned IXCoin to make I0Coin apparently could not resist adding a stupid "die daily" bug and it seems likely one or more memory leaks, so I guess it is not really a clone of IXCoin at all but rather a butchered broken pathetic attempt at a clone of IXCoin.
So part of why IXCoin is still with us is the fact that unlike I0Coin it did not force bitparking to drop it by gobbling up memory like crazy and dying every day or few trying to do some DNS lookup that either no other coin considers necessary or that other coins manage to do without killing themselves.
Maybe it could have been partly because of the gory failure of I0Coin to just basically work like normal coins just basically worked that led to bitparking not adding the rest of the merged mined coins, such as groupcoin and coiledcoin and geistgeld. (Though geistgeld is even more of a memory hog than i0coin so has its own justification for not being included.)
So this coin is one that vast numbers of people already have some of, yes. Another way of putting that is to say it has a large user-base.
However those users have very weak hands, many of them probably just dump their IXCoins on an exchange without even caring about depth, they likely don't even bother to put an asking price and wait for it to be met, likely they just pretty much blindly dump. In other words you can buy the things dirt cheap, many of the old holders might not even hold any really but just dump to an exchange those that bitparking gives them "free" while they mine bitcoins.
I admit that the amount of hashing securing the IXCoin chain makes me feel like oh gosh I can hardly mine any of those compared to I0Coin, I am so glad bitparking dropped I0Coin because now I0Coin is much much easier to mine so I can mine a lot more I0Coin than IXCoin. It is great because all the lazy ignorant people who just want to be given money by a magic money machine without even understanding how the thing works are too lazy and too determined to stay ignorant to actually go out and merged-mine stuff themselves, if its not on a big pool they don't do it. so all the merged mined coins that are not on big merged mining poos are awesome opportunities for anyone who is computer literate, they can run p2pool themselves and merged mine whichever merged mined coins the want to.
But for a lot of the ignorant masses anything that is not on major pools major excchanges and so on doesn't appeal to them, so the mere fact that IXCoin is on a major pool and a major exchange gives it a lot of cachet... and it has been there year after year.

I'm not computer literate enough mark and I've honestly tried. Is there any way i can pay you to set up a merge mine on my computer but its CPU Only so it may not be worth it. Cause I see it exactly like you. These small pools people run from are where it's at and I'm mining or wanna mine for the long term so I don't care if a coin now is worthless like ixCoin, this is all about the future for me. First of all, thanks, unless you're just mocking me. Second, what do you mean by how can ixCoin return just cause miners have amazed huge amounts? Everything has a price. I bought 120,000 coins in about 5 days. Some sell them from pools cause they think its going to zero. Some sell cause they don't care and they see it keeps dropping. Any coins can make a comeback even if the coin supply has been cornered, as long as you can create demand or the perception of demand and that's not that hard to do. I'd advice you buy yourself just 1 bitcoin of ixCoin and hold it for 1 year And see what happens. This advice hurts me cause it makes makes it harder for me to accumulate ixCoins at better prices but I believe in ixCoin so much that I feel bad not giving out advice I believe to be true. Edit: Launch my own coin? Ahahhahahaaa. Ok, you are just messing with me. And here I was thinking I had one, just one guys who saw I'm trying to do a good thing. |

This one is off topic so sorry, but I figure anything that pops your thread to the top will garner it more attention although I'm not sure you want attention for this coin at this point in time. If you wish just PM me and I'll delete this post.
But I wonder how my circus act of a coin thread (Nuggets (NUGs) which jackknifed on an ice-road in Siberia in the middle of a 20 deep, starving wolf-pack, lol - it is an unimaginable way for a good intention coin to crash and burn, blow up and then crash and burn some more, just cause the code was written and pasted wrong and the premine was not even premined cause of another flaw and people hate seeing anyone but themselves make any money and of course, me not being able to handle a-holes who can't give criticism with just a bit of respect in their tone so I had to feed those very many A-holes their dung right back with snow shovel sized portions. That said, I expect that thread to die without me there in the next 2-3 days but I don't even wanna look but I am curious if anybody is even posting there anymore now that I'm gone - the circus master if you will.
At least some people got a lot of good laughs at my expense and it's a great thread of what not to do when launching a new coin so it wasn't a total waste although it has been a total waste for me as far as time, effort and money is concerned.
Nuggets (NUGs) the coin for the people killed by the people....and my mouth. But Hey, I have a dual copy of Tourette's Syndrome genes for which I have a genetic test to prove it so I can't control what I say sometimes - especially when agitated, lol, I basically have no brain-mouth filter yet people blame me for the words coming out of my own mouth like it's my fault. Lol, ok, that makes no sense but that's how Tourette's works and I have not one but two copies which is really bad. I feel bad for my kids cause that means they are guaranteed to each have one copy.
I hope it doesn't go active later on, which happens a lot. Just look at me, people think I'm nuts but in real life people become friends with me very easily. They think my unpredictable and unavoidable honesty is actually hilarious.
But as far as ixCoin, this too was attacked by rabid jealous haters who hate to see a pro dev make just 2% off his work. But the difference was this guy was quiet about it and is now trying to make a comeback and to me that means a lot cause to would have been easier to launch a new coin so there must be a reason even if its just the love for his creation or devotion and determination which are necessary qualities for success which gave me additional confidence to buy up 1% of ixCoin and I hope to soon buy another 1% but right now all my money is going to the death and burial services of Nuggets.

Sorry, I don't understand but it sounds like something I want to understand. I do know here was a premine but personally I think devs should get paid well. I said that long before I considered launching my own coin. My only problem would be credibility - perhaps a lock-up period like they so with Stock IPO's, trusting a dev won't pump and dump. So I don't care the fact this guy did a 20% premine although that very high. That's done, so I'm looking forward and there's something way too quiet about this coin and the fact it should have 100% died when it was abandoned and didn't also adds to the mystery. At half a cent I don't mind risking a couple thousand. Devcoin is my only other coin I truly believe has a good chance at being picked up and spread out globally by big money cause it has a unique story and is acting on it not just talking. I've researched most viable coins out there and from the mentality if a money driven wallstreet banker ixCoin fits the profile and of a Bitcoin 2.0 the best from every possible angle. It's so perfect and an easy sell to investors just like devcoin would be an easy sell and pipe dream currency for politicians and various countries such as France. Question: when does ixCoin finish their last mining cycle? I've read several dates like 2017, but I don't know which one to believe?
Also, does anyone know why or how the founder came up with the name ixCoin? It's a very interesting name for several reasons. It would be like so awesome if the founder answered some of these questions, it would be like...normal. Yet one more sign telling me something may be going on benind the scenes cause even a super busy guy can answer like 2 questions per day as this thread is almost dead.
