I think you're trying to read too much into the workings of Bitcoin and confusing yourself.  It's good to have an understanding of the protocol and how it works, but the process is quite simple once you actually just start using it, and whilst it was created by a genius, you certainly don't need to be one to use it  Cheesy.

You are absolutely right, I am just trying to do some homework.
It is really fascinating how this can work, and it is even more amazing how people loved it from all over the work and put so much money in it and take a huge risk for something that represent only numbers on a screen.
If this really works the way it is supposed to be then the potentials are huge and I would rather be few years from now some who understand how it works than being someone who is just left behind by the rest of the world. that's all.

I really appreciate your help so much, Peter's help too, and everyone else, I am learning a lot.

Fiat money is only really 'numbers on a screen'. I think you'd be wise at getting in and trying to understand it now because you might kick yourself in the future. Bitcoin really does have the potential to be a revolutionary concept.

There is no 'mother unit machine'; it's a decentralised network.
12784  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: April 05, 2014, 05:07:26 PM
I posted to Ritz's profile a short and simple trust feedback for the March campaign and I'll post again for April which seems fair as each time there is some trust that payment will be made, etc

Its not valid for people to graffiti trust when they have not risked any money, or thats how I see it.  Its not a popularity contest or political campaign, nothing risked should be nothing to say.
As to spam accusations, I have tens of thousands of forum posts elsewhere and Ive been typing >50wpm for a few decades.  I could easily post far more here if I really felt like it, unfortunately I use the other forums far more then this

What do you mean graffiti trust? People seem to be doing just as you're doing.

IŽll stick to orginal QT-Wallet, needs lot of time for sync but better safe than sorry!

Saw 'Secret Life of Walter Milly' yesterday. A fully entertaining and enlightening movie. Ben Stiller's best arguably. Didn't know Ben was also the director until the credits rolled. Highly recommended.

I was surprised by it and had no idea Stiller directed it too.

Doesn't he play a load of different roles? Is it a funny?

I wouldn't say funny; it is humorous at times in a good way.But more importantly, its a film that gives you a new direction to your thoughts and life as a whole.

Ah yeah, I think I remember reading about the premise now. Not seen a single second of it though but looking forward to it.

More of a comedy drama then? One Ben Stiller film that surprised me was The Heartbreak Kid.  I expected zero from it going in and I guess it's a fairly typical Stiller film, but it had me really laughing out loud quite a few times.

The irony is you're going to get about two pages of people making redundant posts quoting this message now  Grin.

Yours and mine both just added a post to our post count, not necessary but is sometimes inevitable.

In this case it wasn't really necessary though, was it? You could've just read Stunna's message and not posted until there was something relevant that needed to be said instead of commenting on it. Now you'll inevitably and unnecessarily be adding a few more posts to this thread with the exact type of comments we've just been requested not to make.

12789  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will money and currency be like in 10 years or 25 years? on: April 05, 2014, 04:06:40 PM
I am afraid. I am very afraid of that there will be only virtual currency in the future. It will be bad thing, imagine ONE big power surge, hackers attack, some sort of accident, corruption and BAM! You are nothing without power, you can't buy anything, you are basically nothing without without technology... This is really something that could happen, think about it.

Why could that not happen with our current system? Corruption really can't do anything to a decentralised network. There'll always be alternative means of power as well.

the purge is lame

I don't think so. The theme was unique. And it is having a rating of 5.5 / 10 in the IMDB and 37% in the Rotten Tomatoes.

I haven't seen The Purge but those don't really indicate a great film. What makes it unique (without giving the plot away)? I usually like horror films if they're a bit different.
12791  Other / Off-topic / Re: "Fascinating" on: April 05, 2014, 03:54:32 PM
StarTrek is space opera and StarWars is space fantasy, the only things that matter both are better than Twilight.

What's the difference? Star Wars is usually referred to as a Space Opera.

There is difference. Like difference between 'Interview with the Vampire' and 'From Dusk Till Dawn'. If you know what I mean. Smiley

I dunno, especially when Star Wars is usually referred to a Space Opera and Star Trek Science Fiction.

Interesting, but it'll still probably be a false alarm.
12794  Other / Meta / Re: Possible spambots "hey, i am fresh here" on: April 05, 2014, 01:10:34 PM
This was a very bad idea.  People don't need to "guess" a brainwallet.  Instead, they write computer programs that model human behavior and then generate all possible brainwallets that match a set of likely behaviors.  Depending on where and how you created the brainwallet, it is also possible that the brainwallet creating program stored a history of the brainwallets that it created so that the author of the program could steal the bitcoins at a future date.
I thought this was a really bad notion. Folks have no need to "guess" the brainwallet. Alternatively, they write computer system plans in which style people habits and create almost all possible brainwallets in which fit a couple of most likely conducts. According to where by and how we created this brainwallet, it is usually possible that the brainwallet making method stashed a brief history in the brainwallets so it created so your creator in the method might rob this bitcoins at the future date.

This is not getting Bitcoins for free.  It is a trade of something of value for Bitcoins.  Not free.  Maybe you don't know what "free" means or maybe I don't understand what you mean by "free".
This isn't obtaining Bitcoins free of charge. It is just a deal of some thing of worth for Bitcoins. Not totally free. Maybe you have no idea what "free" means or even My partner and i miss what you necessarily mean simply by "free".

Looks like the bot has learned some paraphrasing skill. Cheesy

Yeah, some have gained sentience haha. Still haven't spotted any in a while, so good catch.

Bombay Bicycle Club - Eyes off you

Nobody knows this probably ;(

I've heard of them for quite a while, but never really listened to them previously, but I'm quite liking the new album. My favourite song is Carry Me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZCfqhRgJ0Q
12797  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Kanazawa asks: Are All Women Prostitues? on: April 05, 2014, 12:25:43 PM
Why would anybody take this guy's, or the women who make such ignorant generalisations, seriously?

Meanwhile in the real world, literacy rates are at an all time low.

Have you only just discovered this or something?
12798  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: April 05, 2014, 12:24:03 PM
Where are the military bases and why would the plane fly over it?

I don't know where are the military bases. But it is quite possible that the Malaysian pilot was ignorant of the Indonesian "Closed Air Spaces".

So this is just another extravagant proposal? The pilot had quite a lot of flight experience from what I gather.

12800  Economy / Services / Re: GAW MINERS PAYS FOR YOUR SIGNATURE >>> HIGH RATES 50posts = 0.08BTC on: April 05, 2014, 12:18:36 PM
That guy got the payment because he wanted to withdraw. If you write your required 50 posts before the end of the month and wish to leave the campaign I'll pay you for every full week.
There won't be any weekly payments, sorry. We are able to support up to 100 people, processing 100 payments every week is above my pay grade Wink

Well I guess it's weekly if you can do the 50 posts haha. Do you have to have the signature for a week?
Nope it's weekly if you don't want to participate anymore and did your job (at least 50 posts) then you can be paid anytime you wish just like Light.

Do you have to keep the sig for a full week or can you get paid as soon as you've done the 50 and want to withdraw?
The minimum to get paid is 50 posts and 1 full week of participation. You can decide to leave the campaign and get paid for 1 week, or keep the sig for another week (no posts needed).
If you want to leave, post here (just like Light did), otherwise, you will be paid automatically after 30 days (unless you got a scammer tag, or don't have the required post number).
All payments, btc addresses and your registration dates are listed in OP.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I'd join if I could get paid after a day haha,
