1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase: Increasing ETC deposit confirmation time to ~ 2 weeks on: August 09, 2020, 02:57:16 PM
It's not good either a two week is already a long period of waiting just to deposit your ETC in your account. I think it's better to avoid deposit on Coinbase for awhile rather than waiting that long period, for security reason it's better to hold your ETC in your wallet and wait this problem to be solved or look for another option. I'm sure that many of us people are holding several cryptocurrencies and not just only relying on ETC.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange security questions on: August 08, 2020, 03:14:45 PM
The fingerprint scanner is an added layer of security accompanied by 2FA from app or code from an email it was required to apply it in our account to make sure that our account was safe from others. by the way, if you are afraid that someone will use your account without your permission will just make sure that only you have access in the device that you are using.but in terms of storing cryptocurrency in exchange I think it depends on any situation but so far I never encountered any glitch yet, I trust Binance and also it's platform security so theres nothing to worry about.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 08, 2020, 02:54:12 PM
AS for many days, the crypto market is now in good conduction as compare from the last three to four months. But now a new thing in coming to altcoin, that the prices of all altcoins are fluctuating very badly and not able to stable in a single position for at least an hour. So, what should we do in this dramatic conduction of altcoin?
Mate this is not a drama crypto market works this way, the altcoin fluctuation is just a normal thing, even in 2017-2018 ATH the market is quite fluctuating in 24-hour basis so there's nothing we can do about it, for all I care is to exploit this trend so that I can earn some decent profit out of it. maybe you should try too.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s USD stablecoin has been green listed by New York’s financial watchdog on: August 07, 2020, 02:33:02 PM
Well, thats good news I'm a Binance user thats why I was proud of it. Binance is a trusted crypto brand thats why it was reflected with its product and services offered. Binance USD stable coin is a secure asset thats why Binance deserves that acceptance and recognition and if we look at it in the bright side, I believe it was beneficial to the crypto industry as well.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia’s Biggest Bank Considers Launching Its Own Stablecoin on: August 07, 2020, 02:06:14 PM
I think it is the new trend globally Central Banks and Commercial Banks are wanted to create its own stable coin that was back with fiat currency, so I presume that stable coins will be slowly adopted globally in the following years to come and I believe it is a good development to watch.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is happening around STO? on: August 06, 2020, 02:04:40 PM
Seriously STO ( Security Token Offering ) has every legal evidence you could ever hoped for from new ICO and IEO projects, I'm just curious and surprised at the same time why STO projects aren't doing so well, they always failed to raise fund successfully even when they are more legit than others, what do you think it's happening with STO? Why so much failures?
Thats because STO has many requirements that quite hassle for investors. I think thats the reason why most STO fundraising are failed, But that was only my assumption and I'm not an expert about it. or maybe the investors are simply don't like the STO method of investing and prefered ICO or IEO for that purpose.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is 5 years old today! on: August 05, 2020, 09:11:36 AM
When I first entered into the crypto space in 2015 my first investment in crypto was with the Bitcoin price $200 at that time and I get Bitcoin in cloud mining contracts while I bought some Ethereum at the price of $0.71 in the same year and I thought that Eth price will not grow beyond further because of its huge total supply but I'm wrong instead it grew up to $18 per coin But after the DAO hacking incident at that time the price continues to drop and because I'm already in Panic I was sold all my Eth at the price of $11 and that was the biggest mistake I've made so far because I never expected the ETH price to reach $1000+ in 2017-2018. that was my history in Ethereum Still strong in 5 years.
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The race to crypto regulation? Public and permissionless is still possible? on: August 05, 2020, 08:28:23 AM
IMHO, I think there's no problem with regulation because I believe that it was badly needed in the industry that often used to launder money and other fraudulent activities. but the regulation must be limited only in the identities of its users like the KYC to know more about the people who use and doing transactions using the Blockchain infrastructure, If the banks will adopt Blockchain technology to their system I'm sure it will be a game-changer if it was realized.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 04, 2020, 09:16:38 AM
It's becoming more harder for new projects team to keep their promises to bounty hunters, some even said bounty hunters are getting free tokens for free, meaning bounty hunters aren't recognized for their work, I suggest all bounty managers to start using ESCROW.

I believe with escrow payment will be guaranteed, team won't be able to go back on their words, bitwings for example, after a complete year of waiting for payment they decide to do another audit on spreadsheet and they falsely accused bounty hunters without any proof.

Bounty Detective is the only bounty manager using escrow, if many bounty managers start using escrow it will be better.
I agree with that idea escrow for the bounty payments is a must to avoid that kind scenario later, although that the project team can replace a new token especially the ERC20 token if they want too. But I'm sure it has a big reason to do that, Anyway, I appreciate the Bounty Detective team doing to implement escrow and introduce a guaranteed bounty campaign payment for its bounty participants.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 04, 2020, 08:46:37 AM
If you visit some crypto forum you will see so many upcoming cryptocurrency projects coming into the industry but sometimes I begin to wonder what is their purpose of bringing in New crypto project knowing well that some of them have wrong motion of the project they are bringing, I have participated in so many of them last year but I have not hear from them again some are abandoned on the proccess with a lot of promises they come with just to gain your interest. What do you think?
IMHO, I believe that some new projects are worthy of our attention because it has something new to offer plus with a good use case that might attractive for investments, But to other new projects that are just copycats from the existing platforms I believe it should not be taken seriously so its better to spent our energies with the good ones.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 03, 2020, 09:51:14 AM

What if, for example - like after that twitter hack - the President wakes up (in a bad mood) and decides with an executive order to make all crypto illegal in the USA?

Of course this probably will never happen in today's world, as the there is big money is invested into crypto currencies; but do you ever think that it is even remotely possible...

Or the next elected president is so "old school" and decides that crypto needs to go?

I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?
IMHO, only those backward moving countries will try to stop the proliferation of cryptocurrencies, But in the case of my country it's not possible because my country is very welcoming in all kinds of innovation and technology, but besides that stance, my government continued to enforce the law and monitor all bogus and fraudulent crypto base investment services and all others.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Weekly Crypto and DeFi Updates | Week 31 , 2020 | Bitcurate.com on: August 03, 2020, 09:41:07 AM
Its good to see that total MarketCap is rising positively, and the Defi MarketCap shares are rising too, I hope this trend will continue further if possible til December because it can drive the entire market into another Bullrun together let us make this trend a profitable one
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: User-friendly EOS wallet? on: August 01, 2020, 10:13:20 AM
Hey, guys do you know some nice HD wallets with clean UI and full EOS support? I found ownr wallet but ready for alternatives.
I'm already trying a couple of EOS wallets, but so far I'm currently stuck while using ImToken and Wombat EOS wallets it's easy to use clean UI and safe, But I think there's a lot of EOS wallets out there that need to be tries or its better to search on the Internet I'm sure that you can get several suggestions regarding that matter.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The IRS Wants to Track & Trace Privacy Coins and the LN on: August 01, 2020, 09:25:20 AM
Privacy coins like Monero and Zcash are popular because of its cutting edge capability on the field of privacy. but now that the government has initiated an action to tract the Privacy coins transactions I think its a major blow to those privacy focus cryptocurrencies because it might results to scrutiny and delisting in cryptocurrency exchange not just the US base but maybe Including Europe as well, as we notice IRS is the US Internal Revenue Service If I'm not wrong IRS wants to TAX those people who are using the Privacy focus cryptocurrencies like Monero and Zcash.
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are now using Dogecoin to infiltrate computers on: July 31, 2020, 02:25:49 PM
I think its another problem that needs to be solved asap the article says the attack was already started since January 2020 so it means the attackers have exploited dogecoin since January and the worst is not even detected. I think the hackers have any specific reason why they choose Dogecoin to attacked the specific target rather than the Privacy coin like Monero, I hope that internet security firms will address this and find remedy a soon as possible.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree with the experts? on: July 30, 2020, 11:13:34 AM
corona has affected  the economics globally  but has also dampened the growth of crypto-currencies. Until the dreadful disease get wholly wiped off, it is not possible to see any improvement in the crypto market.

Various experts are constantly monitoring the market and saying this. I agree with them.

What do you think about this? Do you also monitor the market?
The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all sectors of the economy and the crypto industry is not exempted, thats why I agree in the opinion of those experts, but not the entirety of the context, because as we see it today the market is improved a little bit so it means that those experts were already wrong about their prediction regarding the crypto market improvement.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: today cardano will do a hardfork on: July 29, 2020, 02:30:56 PM
It's a hard fork to improve the existing network but not resulted in a new coin. Cardano has initiated an upgrade called "Shelly" I think its timely implemented because it can attract some interest or even attention from the Eth investors, and the number one reason is due to the delayed Ethereum 2.0 upgrade, But it's just only a pick and I'm not sure about it. But one thing is for sure if the upgrade was successfully implemented I think it can bring more development to Cardano ecosystem, particularly on ADA's market trading price. but that was only my opinion and I'm not an expert about it.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH LimiteD, Ponzi scheme project from Vietnam on: July 28, 2020, 02:46:35 PM
Thanks for sharing this warning mate, But in the first place we should never entertain or invest with this kind of investment. if you visit the site it looks like a legit website, but as you said it was run like a Ponzi scheme and disguised as a Multilevel Marketing with a too good to be true promises. will these qualities are quite suspicious thats why its better to categorize it as a scam platform.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: July 28, 2020, 02:28:34 PM
Thanks for the reminders mate, but I assure you that I am fully awake, thats why I also believe that it's too early to celebrate in the recent market rise. let me clear my point that I'm happy with the current market gains, at the same time I fully aware also of the current market situation. But base on my experience this current market rise is not strong enough to support another Bullrun like it was happening in 2017-2018. but if the trend will continue beyond further maybe thats the time to celebrate.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: .:: I have 11 ETH transactions stuck ! ::. on: July 27, 2020, 04:46:23 PM
I was confused with this "I'm the receiver, not the sender" there's nothing you can do about it because you are only bound to receive that transaction. but base on the data in the thread the gas used is only "25 gwie" which is that far below the safe limit of doing the transaction, it will be declared as a failed transaction soon and it will be refunded into the sender's wallet. I experience it many times before using Imtoken wallet and the Eth will not leave in my wallet only, but minus the transaction fees.
