1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 24, 2019, 10:33:34 PM
I respect how much time a gambler spend in gambling. I also respect how much time they spend in gambling. It's their time and its their money. They have the right to decide what to do with their time and money as much as I have the right to spend mine. It's not a waste of time if you ask me because I play when I have free time and I play with funds that I set aside only for gambling.
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with capital "B" and bitcoins with lowercase "b" on: January 24, 2019, 04:40:48 PM
It is described in this site described in the bitcoin site "Bitcoin - with capitalization, is used when describing the concept of Bitcoin, or the entire network itself. e.g. "I was learning about the Bitcoin protocol today."bitcoin - without capitalization, is used to describe bitcoins as a unit of account. e.g. "I sent ten bitcoins today."; it is also often abbreviated BTC or XBT."

The sentence used by @pamoldar is a great example of how to and when to use Bitcoin with a capital B and with a small letter b.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Dice Games and Yolodice . Best strategy?? on: January 24, 2019, 08:55:04 AM
Its a game of chance, you already made 200% from your capital, why not call it a day and play again tomorrow? Don't forget about the "house edge". Just have fun and don't try to beat the house when you play. That's the time when you get this mind set to recover your losses and unknowingly, you are already spending beyond your limit.
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is The Most Ridiculous Invention Ever Made on: January 24, 2019, 08:11:38 AM
If I am the owner of Western Union or Moneygram I would really say that its ridiculous, its killing the remittance business. Imagine if I am going to send $280 USD worth of BTC, it will cost me less than $0.50 but if I use Western Union, a $280 USD money transfer will cost $11. Imagine $11 versus $0.50. that's a difference of 2,100%
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: January 23, 2019, 01:41:09 PM
I doubt it was a calculated encounter, I mean it is warriors versus Lakers, we are talking about arguably the best team of all time assembled (warriors with 5 all stars) and Lakers with its huge history so it was a game that many famous people watched, I am sure many and Pac wasn't the only famous people on that arena.

Did they talked about the upcoming potential fight? Probably but did they meet there on purpose ? Doubt it. I think it was more of a lucky encounter and they probably already talked about a potential fight beforehand probably months ago even before their fights with other people and when they saw each other there it was a surprise but they like each other (who wouldn't like someone when they made you 100+ million dollars) and talked daily stuff as well as the potential fight.
I don't think there we're talks made about the proposed MayPac2. In my observation, it is only Manny who is interested with the MayPac2. Mayweather is not even talking about it, most of the time its the media who always brought it up and that's the only time he talks about it. This chance encounter is nothing but just to make fans talk about it and create hype. Sort of a testing if there's still interest with this fight.
1286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: January 22, 2019, 11:54:28 PM
There was a another chance encounter yesterday at Warriors versus Lakers match at Los Angeles. No details we're posted if they had a small chat about their plans for MayPac2. Both of this guys are not giving clues if it will happen or not, not even from their camps. Manny posted a picture on his Instagram yesterday about the encounter.

1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 21, 2019, 08:16:52 AM
Looks like someone lost a lot money on placing a bet on Adrien Broner and tried to get even by robbing the house of Manny Pacquaio in Los Angeles. No details we're given as to how much was missing or what are the items missing. And come to think of it, Adrien Broner claims that he was robbed in this fight.

1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: January 21, 2019, 03:56:52 AM
This should be the right thread to discuss about the possible upcoming fight of Pacman as it seems this 2 will again face each other.
OP, please add some pictures so it will be more attractive and may some additional information like news or rumors with corresponding source, lastly put a poll for voting between Manny and Money.
Its a race against time for both fighters. They are not getting old, if they will do it, they better do it this year. Floyd Mayweather is turning 42 this coming February 24 while Manny will turn 41 on December 17 this year. During the fight of Manny vs Broner, we can see his speed is still there but, the power of his punches are not as vicious anymore. If last night we see Manny at the age when he is fighting Barrera or Morales, Broner could have been knocked out. Floyd speed is still there as we saw him on his last fight with the kid from Tokyo Japan, but Floyd is not known as a knock out artist, he is more known for his defense.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 21, 2019, 03:45:20 AM
Here's what I found in the net about last Saturdays (Sunday here in the Philippines) fight.

Manny Pacquiao threw 568 punches and 112 of them landed
Broner threw 295 and only 50 landed

Lets do the math

On an average, Broner threw only 24 to 25 punches and only 4 to 5 landed per round, while Manny on an average threw 47-48 punches and 9-10 punches landed per round.

Manny's fight purse is $20 Million USD while for Broner it will be $10 Million USD. So that's $200,000 USD per punch for Broner, while its $178,500 USD per punch for Manny.

Broner is on a 5 year contract with Floyd Mayweather promotions TMT for $50 Million USD.
1291  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance CEO saying don't keep coins on exchanges on: January 20, 2019, 09:42:08 AM
Nothing wrong the advice of Binance CEO CZ. What he claims is true, its just that its an inconvenience if there is an opportunity to earn but you don't have enough funds in you exchange wallet. Another thing is moving funds from one wallet to another will cost money as well and time consuming too. Keep only an amount of money in your exchange wallet that you can afford to loose.
1292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any way to earn 5% interest/profit per month on: January 20, 2019, 09:31:10 AM
Even those who are in the lending business who gives 1% per day interest is also at high risk of not getting paid. I don't think there is a business that guarantees 5% interest per month on your investment. After posting this, someone might send you a PM offering you to hold your funds in exchange for a 5% interest per month, but what you will get is also your money and they are just trying to invest your money in something else where they can earn from it. Still risky.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 20, 2019, 09:15:43 AM
After watching the fight from Round 1 to Round 12, I don't think Adrien Broner is there to win the fight, he just wen't there to collect his $10 Million USD paycheck and that's it. Broner has the speed, Broner have the punching power but I guess what Broner lacks is he is too afraid to go toe to toe with Manny. I see Broner throwing away punches that hits Manny but not enough to keep him down because there is no follow up made. Most of the punch landed to Manny are from counter punches. After the fight, there was an interview that says that the most punches landed by Broner is 8. But anyway, Manny made $20 Million USD for this fight.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: January 20, 2019, 09:04:24 AM
The reason why Pacman will not fight Marquez is not about retirement or anything else, it is money related. Think about it, Pacman could make over 100 million dollars just from losing to Mayweather whereas they would have hard time getting 10-15 million dollars to the loser in a Pacman vs Marquez fight. That shows clearly which fight will happen, Mayweather holds all the marketing things in his hand, he is his own promoter which means all the money will go through Mayweather to begin with, they fought once and money wasn't an issue and Mayweather paid Pacman what he was owed and that shows a trust between them.

Here's a nice write up from an interview with Marquez and answer the question why he will not fight Manny anymore. Its not about the money, its more of a legacy. He got lucky on his last fight with Manny and knocked him down, that's already in the history books. Why ruin that legacy because of money? Manny tried it already and a lot of promoters already tried to offer different amount for the 5th fight to happen, but Marquez declined and would rather keep his legacy intact as the last man who knocked Manny down.

1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run on January, February or March? Your Predictions please...... on: January 20, 2019, 08:56:39 AM
Not really a bull run but what I think will happen is price might start to go up after the Chinese Lunar New Year Festivities. Historically, price of Bitcoin starts to go down before the Chinese Lunar New Year Festivities which will happen February 05 this year. Historically as well, price starts to recover after the event. No other event or milestone that I see that can trigger a bull run.
1296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear time is near to end on: January 17, 2019, 11:56:23 PM
Chinese lunar new year is this coming February 05 and every time Chinese Lunar New Year comes, the price of Bitcoin goes down. However, the price starts to pick up after the event. I know that its not 100% sure that what happened in the past 2 years will again happen this year but price may have an effect as Asians try to convert BTC to Fiat in preparation for the event and celebrate.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30 days challenge with DICE on: January 17, 2019, 11:52:48 PM
If you are going to play dice and set the chance to higher percentage of winning then maybe after 30 days you earn doubled your capital. I tried it before setting a higher chance of winning but I am impatient in the amount of earnings so I go back to the default settings. Dont try the martigale strategy in this challenge. You will just loose money if you use that strategy.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: January 17, 2019, 11:48:21 PM

2.) lets say you win, set aside your capital if possible. If not, take 10% of every win in your pocket. With this you can go home with money even just coins. Not bad.

This is the strategy that I follow not only in gambling but also for trading. Always use only your capital and take away your profits. That way you will feel that your money is growing. There is a high chance that you might loose all of it if you include your profits with your capital. Taking away a percentage is a good idea but I guess 10% is very small, 50% maybe is ideal.
1299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: January 17, 2019, 11:43:08 PM
hi i am day trading from 2years but not profitable at all ( i dont know what should i learn more so that i will be profitable )

some times i think to quit trading and go search some job, another way i think that after coming so far i should try for some more time

i know many traders in same situation are you thinking same as above . are you in this situation what have you decided to do ?

i want answers only from traders in this situation and experienced traders

i dont know if sentence formation is correct or not i think many of you can understand the situation

In trading, there's no such thing you earn everyday like yesterday. Market trend is always different. I also thought of quitting my job when I make a lot of money in trading but I realized its a wrong move when there we're 3 days straight I am losing money because of market trends and wrong decisions. Get a job and keep trading if you still have the time and money to trade. Trading for me is just a side job that anytime I can start and stop.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 17, 2019, 11:36:48 PM
That's why Pacquaio is considered as a hero because he united Filipino and maybe it's his reason why he keeps fighting even at his age now.
Everyone is expecting this is a gonna bring lots of entertainment since both fighters has good record in boxing and I hope this will not be a boring fight like mayweather fight, Broner should be aggressive in this fight if he want to beat Manny and he he needs to knock him down to make it more convincing.
Manny is a generous guy. Just look at how he treats his 100 man entourage. He even have a contest biggest loser to motivate his friends to lose weight together with him and who ever wins get a money. In the Philippines he also have a housing project not only for those who's houses we're devasted by the recent storm but also for the poor and homeless. That's where his earnings goes.
