1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 13, 2021, 04:54:22 PM
~
There is no doubt that we will be living like this for the next 5 years or possibly more and what clear cut rule does they make during these circumstances.
We might be living in a bubble for the next 5 years but the only India is having the problem of players or the non player staff getting infected. The IPL was stopped due to players getting infected and now the Indian coaching staff got infected. I am not sure how they are getting infected when they are in the bubble, the ICC needs to investigate those as it is happening frequently.

Lack of discipline is the reason most Indian players are getting infected. I am sure this time BCCI will in place strict rules and guidelines for players and staff who will be present for the IPL tournament. They should also put in place strict punishment not only for the players but the franchise too if they want the IPL to end smoothly this time.

Well ever since this big three model came up, we are seeing extra ordinary influence of three teams i.e. India, Aus and England. Recent test cancellation is strongly criticised by fans and media in England as its clearly for IPL. And this clearly show how strong BCCI is. No one can confront BCCI as everyone wants IPL contract. Anyone against them lose too much money in the form of IPL denial. See example of Pakistan, despite no 1 team in T20 they were denied entry in IPL.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: September 12, 2021, 06:04:05 PM
To create a masternode, you need to download special software and buy coins.
The shittier the project, the easier it is to make a masternode, these are my observations.
Profit is usually said in the amount of coins that you will receive additionally if the masternode works.
But the price of a coin can drop at any time and you will lose money.
Better learn to mine on video cards.

Video cards and other specialized mining devices eats too much power and are costly, that's why they are in reach of rich miners only. The primary reason why people look for cheap mining options is because of lack of affordability. Its better to learn mining first on video cards or using HDDs (PoC) before you invest huge money there.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: September 12, 2021, 05:58:49 PM
We are seeing again a dip and chances are that majority of alt coins will take a dip along with BTC. Its good to see whats safe price to buy BOOM and keep it in your portfolio.
DYOR if you really wanna do this. My analysis is based only on recent price variation of BOOM.
And now the average Altcoin has started to increase again in a few percent where it happens simultaneously with the increase in BTC as well, but whether the next decline will also occur again in the market later, I also don't know, because many predictions are now wrong from what what some people say.

There are alt coins like Eth, LTC etc that are directly linked with BTC price volatility. When BTC goes up they also go up and down accordingly. But if see sleeping coins like BOOM, they have there spike once in a while during BTC bull run. Its wise to keep them in your list and more wisely buy them at right price.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Metaverse | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: September 12, 2021, 05:50:45 PM

~ snip ~

Of course, I would like to see here another successful project. But we all saw here very many scam projects. And a lot of us lost own money there. Crypto market is full of different scammers. So, I want to find out more information about project, before I will begin work with it.

That's very much true. Due to too many scams happening in crypto, the community is way more alert then before.
Reason why I liked this project is because they have provided a valid solution for NFT storage problem. Its something badly missing and is attainable. I will defiantly keep an eye on this project.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Defining Bitcoin on: September 12, 2021, 05:34:16 PM
"Non-government money" is a good way to start.

Probably that's the reason why governments of the world are not in favor of BTC rather cracking hardly on it. This rivalry will get worse in days to come, since BTC is gaining momentum day by day

Definition 6

Bitcoin is a blockchain.

I suggest an edit to this definition heading, Bitcoin is based on blockchain. Since bitcoin and blockchain are two separate technologies.
1286  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 12, 2021, 08:15:52 AM

They gambling business are not into providing any service to you for which you pay them accordingly.Although the house will always have a edge and this is because they need profits and will get it from your wins but you also have the equivalent chance of winning and can get bag full on your face with small paper of money only.Enjoy your game and keep hopes and bet high.

This holds true only if the system is designed on neutral grounds, where platform and gamblers both have equal chance of winning (though many houses have upper hand while designing the system). Gambling in the long run (to me) is always a loss for gamblers, its the house that wins in the long run.
P.S its just my personal analysis based on my own experience. DYOR before making any decision on gambling.
1287  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 12, 2021, 07:42:56 AM
@aysg76 I don’t know about you’ll but for gambling and crypto sites I don’t recommend using google, rather use some other browser which has better security in place. Also if you’re new to a site eg Roobet take a minute and read those spelling in the url, they’ll always be wrong if it’s a fake url, and the book marks is a good suggestion which I personally follow to be safe.

Can you please suggest an alternative to Google Chrome that gives you better security? I was unaware that Chrome has any security issues. Perhaps I misunderstood what you said.

I do not want to get too off-topic here, but what do you recommend as an alternative?

I am using Chrome for gambling and crypto for quite some times now. So far I haven't faced any security issue in chrome. As already mentioned, its good to book mark sites that involve financial transactions. As you never know when you become victim of phishing attack. If you want to be extra careful then TOR is good option for that.
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum signaling the next bull run for other cryptocurrencies on: September 11, 2021, 05:36:33 PM
In the last few days, the ethereum price keeps rising while the giant of crypto Bitcoin was relying on between $47k to $48k but in the last 24 hours, the entire market has changed Bitcoin is heading to 50k while ethereum is in a new all-time high of $3750 since April 2021.

Will this market signal a new season for all the other cryptocurrencies, as the entire market looks bullish at this point?

You must have got your answer by now. Its the second Bullish run in last 6 monhs by Eth. Agree or not, crypto market is mostly controlled by BTC price and Eth can cross its ATH of 4100$ only if BTC continued its journey above 50k$.
I dont recommend buying ETH at such high price (close to ATH). If someone buys at such high price, chances are he may struck for long period.
1289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to implement Bitcoin payments in my hardware store. on: September 11, 2021, 05:29:55 PM
My hardware store now accepts Bitcoin! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5359186

This is so good to see BTC along with LN in action practically. We need more such cases in order to make BTC reach main payment system.
Most of your questions are already answered many times by experts. I have a query which I wanna ask from you. How are you coping the price volatility of BTC? Like if you received 100$ worth of BTC 10 days back then they must be around 80 or 90$ by now. How you adjusting this price volatility or you are happy to keep BTC no matter how much they vary in price.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: September 11, 2021, 05:20:53 PM
Bitcoin is a very good currency to invest in but it is not considered a safe haven because the crypto market is not stable. No one can say for sure when the price will go down major digital assets including bitcoin ethereum and ripple, have plunged into the red hot cryptocurrency space at once with the global equity market slumping to billions of dollars in market value in a matter of minutes. The unexpected fall in the digital currency sector follows a time of price stability for highly volatile markets and may suggest that investors are less likely to move assets forward as safe haven bets.

This price un-stability is in both directions. Like I had 75$ in LTC two weeks back, I checked it yesterday and they have gone down to 66$ because of recent DIP. Similarly it can take swing in up word direction also.
If you want stability then invest in schemes like government backed saving schemes but there profit is proportional to inflation rate, you wont get much benefit there.
In summary, no pain no gain.
1291  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | US Open 2021 ==> Win a share of $20,000 in BTC + Free BTC on: September 11, 2021, 06:33:59 AM
it looks like they also deactivated the withdrawal button for my account. At least I do not see it anymore. I still have funds in my account and would like to withdraw my money but currently it is not possible because recent request was declined without any notification, the abscence of any withdrawal button and no response from their support...
it looks like you are also facing problems regarding withdrawals, hopefully this problem is not because you abuse theirs systems.
when I look his problem on another site because of limited/day. Look like the case is different on betja, maybe they decline his withdrawal because the account was detected compromised. maybe he was log in with a VPN or another gadget which was detected by website as compromised. Just wait for the response and not much worried because his account still had the balance. this means the team hasn't terminated the account.
Like what this site usually accused their players of cheating?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267172.msg57903294#new 1xbit.com the rampant scammer site? but i think Betja is far different from that one because as what the poster above says, they are active in telegram and constantly answering claims so maybe there is other issue with this and just because he violated their Rules , but lets see what Betja will comply on this because he is active recently .

Full marks to moderator of this thread despite all odds to the system of betJA. Moderator is continuously listening and replying to queries here. Although its just 3 months old thread but this thread will greatly help betJA dev team to rectify problems in there system (if they are sincere to this business). This thread is like QA to betJA.com.
1292  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: September 11, 2021, 06:16:48 AM
First, thank you for sharing useful information for us here about withdrawal fees and withdrawal amount at crypto casinos.
Some of the site on the list seem to be able to be considered by gamblers if they object to high withdrawal fees. At least on that list we have a selection of site that have free withdrawal, but each player should of course do their own research for the sites they are betting on.

BetHash|0.02 BTC ~ $1098|0.002 BTC~ $109|
Even though it seem that the site is one of the site that charge a very high withdrawal fee, I don't think there will be any problem if the players agree to the fee. Maybe I will shy away from the site because it is too expensive.

Yes, we must appreciate the hard work done for online gamblers by OP. This list will help specially small gamblers who cant pay high withdrawal fee and have small amount available to withdraw. One thing if they can mention here along with name of gambling site is legitimacy or reliability of that site.
Withdrawal fee is in BTC so it will go high when BTC go up and minimum when btc goes down, provided they dont change it.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ Wants Your Opinion on: September 10, 2021, 10:59:45 AM
Bitcoin does not need to be legal tender to be used. If you think that it is prohibited and people can not use it in countries that it is not legal tender, you are misunderstand it.

Bitcoin is for underbanked and for everyone, in every country.

Legal tender is only one of things to bring Bitcoin to more people on social media. I think Bitcoin will be get accepted more without legal tender. However El Salvador is a good test for the world.

We are hearing this 10 years since the launch of bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't need support of governments, its other way around. Most of big economic powers are still not in favor of decentralized bitcoin. Despite this opposition bitcoin has grown in terms of price, market cap and developing huge community.

Bitcoin is for underbanked and for everyone, in every country.

Globally, about 1.7 billion adults remain unbanked — without an account at a financial institution or through a mobile money provider. (source)
While BTC is open for every single person on this earth. Thats the power of Bitcoin that's frighting big economic powers.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the best coin Bitcoin on: September 10, 2021, 10:47:41 AM
I think there is no altcoin that can surpass bitcoin, some of altcoins are popular but it still depend on the company behind it. In my opinion the most popular altcoin is ETH but this coin has many strong competitors such as BNB, TRX and etc. These altcoins are very promising, this is one of many reasons I invest in altcoins too. More than 50% of my investment fund will always allocated to bitcoin because I think this is the safest cryptocurrency for investment.

Bitcoin should be primary choice of investment in cryptocurrency, while its good to keep some cash in alt coins like Eth, Litecoin etc.
Eth no doubt is second best after BTC not only in terms of makret cap but also because its revolutionary concept of using blockchain for DAPPs.

Thats why you cant compare apple (Bitcoin the decentralized) with oranges (XRP, Doge the centralized one).
1295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dont get sad over what could have been on: September 08, 2021, 06:49:41 PM
Its no use crying over spilt milk
Done is done and we dont have power to revert it back. So its better to get up and start over again. Key take away is to learn from past mistakes and not to repeat them again.
Nelson Mandela once said, "I never lose. I either win or I learn." This must be principle for all crypto traders.
1296  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: September 08, 2021, 06:39:44 PM
In my opinion, weak nerves are primary reason behind panic sell. If you cant see market in red then trading (crypto, forex, equityetc ) is not for you. Even during panic sell, there are equal no of people who are buying coins at lower price (somebody selling means somebody buying). BTC recently collapsed to 32k$ before reverting back to 50k$. There are buyers who bought BTC at 32k$, when everyone was selling in panic.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] NewB.Farm is it's simple operations and simple profitability! on: August 22, 2021, 02:59:20 PM
It looks like this is a fake project. Only Newbie accounts are active in the thread, they ask trivial questions and no one even tries to answer them. It looks like it's just a bumping service. Nobody answered my question either.
I wonder why this thread was created on Bitcointalk at all.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] NewB.Farm is it's simple operations and simple profitability! on: August 15, 2021, 02:10:27 PM

NewB.Farm
Annual APR (annualized income): 71%
You invest 1000 USDT. Your annual income is 710 USDT. The Performance Fees by NewB.Farm is 15%. This will give you a nett income 603.5 USDT, About 60% on your investment.
I see you guarantee a ROI of 60% per annum. Could you please explain how this was calculated?
Do you already have rigs on which you mine cryptocurrencies and can you show us results for the last year?
Or is it some other farm?
My point is that when it comes to mining farms, you don't know what the price of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies will be in the next year, so you can't guarantee at least 60% per year. If you can guarantee this, can you explain how?
1299  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud - Tulip Trust addresses signed message on: May 27, 2020, 05:38:48 AM

Good effort. I also checked one bitcoin address, message, and Signature given in OP and that's valid .

We all know from the day very beginning that he is faketoshi but this is now a confirmation that he is really a faketoshi.
