Yeah you have the point that hardware wallet could be lost that is why always do a backup if you really wanted to be safe. backup your seeds and write them down or save it in notepad and put it in the safe place of your computer.. and make a copy in your usb so that you can recover your wallet in the future once your hardware wallet lost.. For me i am using just a electrum wallet that i still didn't experience any issue yet and make sure to always update your antivirus to make your computer safe to any malware and viruses. |

Gpu mining is much better than CPU mining its not worth it honestly if you are just mining in CPU and mostly mine with CPU is XMR not worth it to mine for now.. if you going to invest i heard much more profitable to buy is antminer L3+ for litecoin..
If you don't have budget you can build your own mining rig.. try to build a rig with GTX1050 4 piece or 3 pieces for your $400+ or GTX 1080/ti Much more faster to mine and gain more hash/s

Advantage of having a 2fa authentication is hackers cant easily access your account without the device authenticator that you are using. More security for your account. The disadvantage is when you lose your device you will lose also your account. There is no way that you can access again your account. Always make backup just request backup in your authenticator or 2fa software like what i do i just backup it in my harddrive and my online drive which is free from google but i packed them into rar file with password.. So if ever my device was stole by thieves or gone i can be still use the backup to open my accounts in the future purposes.. |

Yes you will get the same amount of segwit btc after the fork. People are buying for the same reason they bought when the whole BCH and BTG stuff went down. They think it's just free money, but in reality, they're creating a bubble that will burst after the fork. It probably won't drop a lot, but it definitely will tank the price a little bit. We saw the same exact activity right after the BTG fork because people started to see BTC go up. Its really a free money if you bought bitcoin in low price and you are getting both the benefits of the price increase and you can get your fork coins.. Until now i still didn't get my bitcoin gold but the price was drop a lot but the price of bitcoin are keep increase because of the next fork.. that i think this will the last or final fork that i think we will experience of large drop of the price.. Because there is no fork will happen again.. but if there are more coming fork after this november 16 well expect the price will getting increases because people will keep investing just to get the benefits of free fork coins. |

Altcoin is not the same as bitcoin that the price is keep increasing but there is potencial can be happen in altcoin in the future if the developers are really active and supported by other investors and trader..
remember what happen to litecoin before the price is really cheap but right now the price of litecoin is really huge..
And i think better to wait for the fork coming to end after that expect the price of bitcoin will fall and expect some altcoin are getting price increase because there are some traders are choosing stable price to convert their bitcoin into altcoin while the price of bitcoin is high..
So better to wait until november 16 if you didn't see any changes you lose..
And i think you should also do trading if there are some altcoin you are holding are moving up or dump you are getting profit with it for buying low and sell high..

How can you sure for that? .. I heard that there is news in china that all exchanges will be close so i think it will affect the price of bitcoin again if exchanges are close again..
Bitcoin is just getting increase its value because of coming fork and people are investing more just to getting more benefits of getting free fork coins..

I'm very new to cryptos and today i bought $150 worth of bitcoins on coinbase. I sent it to shapeshifter which converted it to vertcoins and put the receiving as one of the addresses in my electrum wallet.
The problem is it's the bitcoin electrum as i didn't know there was a specific one for vertcoins. The transaction was completed on shapeshifter but my wallet still says 0 on electrum.
I really don't know what to do and can't seem to find anything online
I think the starting letter of vertcoin is V for vertcoin address unlike electrum bitcoin address that starts in 1 or if you are using sig wallet the starting is character is 3I think it should not send and vertcoin address will not sign transaction if the address is not valid better to contact the shapeshifter support about your problem.. They should give your coins back.. its just showing completed but honestly vertcoin will not sign the address you give.. so you have a chance to get your money back. . |

It's not possible to sign a mesage from Coinbase wallet anymore. They removed this feature several months ago. I am having the same issue with blockchain.info.... I have searched high and nigh online with little success on how to sign messages. apparently, You can sign from messages from very old addresses but not with the new ones. If anyone has an idea please share. It is ironic that they allow message verification, but wont allow messages to be signed.
I never had issue to sign message with imported adrees on blockchain.info, but never tried to do it with new address. It looks quite strange that don't allow to sign message with all address. I think not months ago that coinbase sign message is not working last year i can't sign a message of every bitcoin address that is why i stop using their service and use it to deal here in forum because some other people they wanted to sign message first before you deal to someone.. I experienced to sign message in coinbase before but after they change the themes of coinbase the sign message is not working anymore i reported them in coinbase but looks like they have no plan to re-enable it back again. . Blockchain are good wallet but now a days because of segwitx2 and other fork about bitcoin i think they are not allowed to sign message again for new bitcoin address just for security purposes.. |

Not all wallets participated in Bitcoin Cash giving on the previous fork and I have got few on Hashnest. But this time not Bitcoin.info, not Hashnest participated in air drop of Bitcoin Gold, but I got some from an exchanger this time, YoBit gave me the same amount that I had in bitcoins in that moment.
You're lucky, because there is no BTG blockchain. It hasn't even launched yet. I don't understand what these exchanges like Bitfinex and Yobit are doing. They are apparently letting people trade IOUs based on the proposed snapshot. But nobody can even verify that this is the snapshot that BTG developers will use, since the code is not entirely public yet. No one can even be sure that it will launch.... and if it doesn't, these exchanges are going to be in some hot water. In that case, people like you just got some free BTC out of literal thin air (assuming you traded it). I still don't see any wallet release for bitcoin gold but how yobit support bitcoin gold.. It was honestly hard to get bitcoin gold . but i heard there are other people who receive they bitcoin gold and sell it in yobit this is just what i heard if they are holding bitcoin |

It is pretty easy, i just have an excel sheet in where i keep a track of all my investments and profits, and of course, all my trading and forex operations that i have opened.
This is a good and an easy way to keep on track those operations, because i am sure that i have never missed any number, and this makes me protect my money and to not feel tempted to spend it on some stuff, this is a nice way to do it.
In my own i just honestly use the history of every trading site to track my profit i am not using any excel or spreadsheet i am just using the piece of paper and i write them all and then calculate all my profit or loses to know how much bitcoin i made in trading .. Sometimes loses but mostly making a good profit than loses.. |

For those of you who haven't become salty as a result of lower than expected profits from cloud mining contracts, what is your investment strategy? Do you purchase all bitcoin contracts, reinvest your earnings, diversify? We all know that the difficulty of mining any coin is constantly increasing. In the face of that what strategies can you employ in order to hedge your bets?
Honestly im not investing in cloud mining because i know all cloud mining are scam i invested my bitcoin before but when getting profit or ROI and i withdrawn my bitcoin my bitcoin was stuck and always pending never receive it.. So i stop investing to cloud mining site and i learn a lot.. Its just the same as investing site. |
