1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WalletBuilders Coin [WBC] FUN - REAL - PURE POS on: September 09, 2017, 05:00:24 PM
I am staking with around 380 WBC and it says expected time to earn reward is 15 minutes, though I only get it every 3 or 4 hs.

Is there anything wrong with that?

With the coin's total amount, I would be surprised if you earned a reward every 15 minutes. Anyway, mine takes about 3-4 hrs too

Let's estabilish a timeline for the logo, for example three days to see all the designed logos by the Movement Members and let's set a poll.
Are we able to choose a logo or not?
Can someone with a bit of spared time to follow this contest?
I like the logo so as it already is and I'm curious to see the community opinion

Am happy with pickle Rick's creation.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: September 09, 2017, 04:46:06 PM
how do we get the deep onion airdrop?

I don't have a wide knowledge about airdrops, but I suggest you to stay away from deeponion coins. It's very useless because there is no good exchange where you can sell or trade them.

Hey dear,  here goes an exchange, https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_ONION/

And the current price is $1.22, and that's post dumping https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/#markets

Your welcome. Take care  Grin Grin

I thinking about The DeepOnion Airdrop but is it more profitable than participating on another Signature Campaing?

These are user rewards from last airdrop. You can read more here https://deeponion.org/community/threads/8th-airdrop-completed-251-user-rewards-distributed.2065/. These are just baseline values, as there are some bonus schemes in place that can significantly increase the number of coins received.

I agree with the stats above. DeepOnion is indeed the most profitable airdrop at the moment. People have received coins worth thousands of dollars. What more do you want than to get coins which is worthy. Not only the coin value but the community behind it is awesome. You got to board the train called "Onion" in order to feel the excitement/vibe.

Have a nice day.

I really can’t beleive even jr members can clear almost $500 with that airdrop, what exchanges is it one?

ATS bounty ended today, tokens going out after the 14th
DeepOnion is is believed to be a scam

1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 09, 2017, 04:17:36 PM
Can somebody from PayPie explain the concept of an "internal coin"? Otherwise these questions will continue to be repeated. There is little information about how that Pie Coin actually works.

Am not a paypie employee but my guess is an internal coin is a coin that can't be traded by the public, it's only usage in within the paypie platform. Only paypie employee have control of the coin and the aforementioned coin cannot be transferred out of the platform. My guess is with the SEC involvement, and issues it created this is a way to incentive PPP token holders without dealing with the wrath created from issuing dividends.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 09, 2017, 04:10:38 PM
As much as i love this idea and hope it's a success, I fear that when this becomes the norm, it will severely marginalize low income renters and help encourage/speed up gentrification of neighborhoods. Oh well, the haves keep on having and the have not keep on losing. The cycle of life.

I feel like i should also post a positive aspect that the platform could provide. Anyway, with relest, it would be easier to relocate without worrying about finding the right location that fits your price range. For example, I have never been to Germany, but if relest is massively adopted and i choose to relocate to Germany, i can easily use the app to obtain an apt that fits my price range and that one less thing to worry thing.

Hey, I just downloaded the whitepaper again. It looks like the "Pie Coin" and "pegged 1:1" have returned. Can anybody verify this?

Yep... these parts have returned. Strange. Maybe dev or Wapinter can clarify.

My guess, is they finally acknowledged that it was wrong to edit out a core aspect of their business plan, just cos some forum members were confused and had issue with it.
Well, am glad they brought it back cos a possible investor who is dedicated and choose to read the either Paypie thread will be wondering what the forum members are talking about, if they had choose to keep it out. That might negatively impact their decision to invest.

Anyway, Wapinter clarified that according to the DEV, "Pie Coin is an internal coin completely different from PPP token, it will be used to track the payments on the ledger...only this internal coins will be pegged. This is the coin that token holders will get income from"

Tickets market is soooo big, we haven't took into account yet amusement parks, natural parks, circus like cirque du soleil, big events like red bull events, motorsports events (these one are huge in Europe) just to name a few

I think when they say event tickets, they mean all events. Most major current event ticket websites deals with several markets and i don't see how Eventchain will be any different

Yes the possibility of Vibehub are very huge. Live concer,t cinema, show and much more ... and with that a hub where you can add lot of new application with the time. All vr lover will enjoy Vibehub, I wil buy a vr engine just to use Vibehub. And devs said that new big features will be announced soon, so i stay tuned cause I think it willl be great too.

Having a feeling of being teleported to some place through AR AND VR is quite an amazing experience. VIBEHub will make this possible. Smiley

It makes you less social like we already are but, it's fun  Grin

Am surprise no one has mentioned this yet, but the possibility i crave the most from AR/VR is the ability to store the memory of an interaction with a loved one and revisiting it whenever one chooses. I know it doesn't beat the teaching, entertainment etc wow factor but i would give anything to relive that last concert i went with my grand mother before she passed.

What was your thinking process to choose ERC20 standard? Why not ERC223 on ETC chain for example which is more secure (https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/223) ?

Actually i wonder it too. Not just paypie, most of the icos using erc20. Has Erc223 has some diffuculty we don't know?

I would love to hear a dev, why they are choosing erc20 instead of erc223
Maybe because ERC20 is more popular. We have better coins than btc but everyone is after btc.Same logic here Huh

I think the problem with newer versions is that exchanges are not accepting them. I had heard about Bittrex is not accepting ERC223 tokens, if your token cannot get into big exchanges then the market will be highly affected.
Are you sure about that? MEW is fully compatible with ERC223 standard (I know because I stored some DEX tokens there). Just quoting Dexaran words: ERC223 tokens are backwards compatible with ERC20 tokens. It means that ERC223 supports every ERC20 functional and contracts or services working with ERC20 tokens will work with ERC223 tokens correctly.

MEW supports ERC23. My E Mobilego token are stored on MEW. The only issue with ERC23 is Exchanges lack of interest/ or maybe laziness to update their platform to support it. It's far more secured but till big companies that rebelling on this exchanges and adopting ERC23, the exchanges will drag their ass on this update.

With a simple calculation, hard cap can be found 64.760 eth. Somewhere 20m$

But there is no info about soft cap. Will you inform us about soft cap?

They will probably announce the information about the soft cap in the next couple of days before the ICO for the project starts.

I think 20$ mill is too much amount to be used for the venture. The ICO's are getting a hit these days because of the recent outcomes from America and China. People are panicked to invest right now so I would suggest a smaller hardcap with a detailed description of where it will be used.

When you have ICOs amassing close to $150 million to build a messaging app or to create a platform for launching ICOs, I think this price is far more reasonable for this platform. They will have to actively pursue, nurture and create relationships with several artists/event organizers in other to make this a possibility, just the manpower involved will eat up a lot of that capital.
If the developer explain the reason or what they will do with their soft cap/hard cap, it will makes more sense wherever they put their cap, of course if the reason fits.

Other company don't explain what they intend to do with the money. Rather, they just give you a road maps/ empty promises which aren't met post ICO. with this platform, the road map is there and it's easy to envision what they will utilize the raised capital for. So, if they keep there hard cap at 20mil, i will say they one of the honest ICO out there. The amount a good reflection of the work involved.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 09, 2017, 01:57:08 PM
Guys, dont ask about special exchanges. Its not possible to predict on wich one the token get listed. Just wait for the development. The project will grow and the exchanges will come by themselfes.

Well, since I worked with some teams, in fact you can.

Just some exchanges are more harder to get and don't want you to disclose the information because it could have an influence on the price.
Well yes, who would not dream that would be taken by polonix for example.. but alas not everything depends on the beginning project, there are nuances, subtleties and also mountains of work, it seems to me that for VIBEHub team it's feasible

Well poloniex begin to lose against Bittrex  Smiley

And it's been a while I think since Poloniex listed a coin.

There have been too much problems with Poloniex lately
Yep, problems of support.
And being listed on exchanges can boost the price, but it still has chance to drop

No company will reveal the possibility of been listed in an exchange prior to ICO completion. In the crypto space things change really fast, and it could really impact a company's reputation if investor feel jaded cos a promise could not be delivered.

I am happy to see that such a good platform could be built. I have worked in the concert events and i know that the companies that sell for us the tickets tooks a big commission. Things has to be done and videhub could be a solution.

So, eventchain won't charge anything or very little? Still, not clear to me.

Yes, no processing fees on SmartTickets transactions. Tickets will be cheaper for fans and directly paid to artists or promoters!

Some say a little fee. Some say no fee. What's the reality?
I'm planning to implement EventChain somewhere but I'm confused about the fee.

No fees would be unrealistic, wouldn't it? The company/devs must be paid at one point of the game, the system has to run etc pp. Probably they will be cheaper then normal fees.

Addressing the confusion regarding fees, the misunderstanding is that fees will not be passed on to the customer. There is no reason a ticket buyer should pay a fee just to buy a ticket. However, if a marketplace wants to add fees and other added value like insurance or whatever then fees could be acceptable to buyers. As a rule though EventChain has no need to charge fees since we are the event hub, so promoters will pay us a fee to promote and deploy their events etc. This is the gist of the fees structure.
This sounds really fair compared to centralized solutions. I am very excited about how the big centralized players will react on the blockchain ticket and event revolution in general.
This is the biggest blockchain problem, this technology will leave many jobless speculators Cheesy

Blockchain is a technological advancement and the advent/growth of technology has always left people unemployed. It comes at a cost of zero human error. Actually not completely zero cos the technology has to be developed by a human, but possibility of an err is drastically reduced

they have some exchanges in India, like BTCXindia, ETHEXindia (for eth) etc.....and yes you can only exchange cryptos vs irn (local currency). It's just like chinese exchanges where you can exchange cryptos only vs cny

I applaud this countries for utilizing their own currencies in their exchange. I don't see any American changing their dollars to rupees to buy coin of an exchange. A chinese/Indian based exchange should focus/ promote their countries currency.

The only drawback is the graphics. That's when we can participate in the films, it will be something.

You remember when cellphones had huge antennas and came with a battery that was close to the size of a small car battery. Thing change homie. by 2030, a VR hardware might just be the size of regular sunglasses with no wires.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 08, 2017, 07:53:25 PM
Lately I've been seeing headlines about India's demonetization efforts (it's not exactly smooth sailing) and I just made the connection with PayPie. In fact they mention India in section 9.1 of the whitepaper:

In India, huge projects to digitize financial transactions have been rolled out in last one year in the form of demonetization and GST and millions of new businesses will be in market first time who can be helped by PayPie platform.

Do you realize the potential when PayPie is first to market there when there's no legal alternative? Shocked

I actually agree with you on this. India has been pushing to attain a similar technological status present in places like Japan and China. So blockchain tech adoption in India seems inevitable. Especially, due to the current India/China strife, the first country to massively adopt the tech, gets a leg up

In india blockchain adaptation is very limited. They don't have a exchange yet and if i'm wrong they only can buy bitcoin with their local currency. Bitbay india was coming but postponed. So it's  not very likely at the moment too much activity in india.

Beside i don't think they are aiming for india at start.
That's strange that India is not very interested in cryptocurrencies. Always thought there are many information technology specialists.

You guys completely misread the quote by rigorous and 1. We not saying that paypie is focusing on India, rather we just stating that if India in following thru with their demonetization efforts, blockchains like paypie and several other blockchain related tech will have a big impact in the country
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 08, 2017, 02:29:23 PM

One of the important things to see is that EventChain won't use much processing power or data. An event get's created once so that's simple to scale. Tickets get purchased once and redeemed once per user so that isn't too much to handle. Event ticketing is a really good use case for blockchain and will scale even better as blockchain tech itself scales.

After financial money like bitcoin, the next thing to tokenize is event tickets. It's the perfect use case for blockchain.

No one though EventChain would utilize a lot of processing power. It's an ETH token, not a POW coin. The question ppl were referring to was in regards to their zero processing fee, cos we all know that it takes gas to send ETH and also a company needs to turn profit. Anyway, like a previous poster already mentioned EC intends to keep a portion of the ticket sales thus the zero processing fee.
