12841  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin going up? on: November 08, 2017, 09:44:52 PM
Why is bitcoin going 3% up each day?

today bad news for Segwit2X make price up more than 400$

It's down again at $7,300 and this made every single trader to be confident with the alt coins. They jumped already and pumped some popular alt coins out there, too bad that I was into a nap a while ago and did missed the chance of buying some bleeding alts. Anyway this is just a very few reason why bitcoin is up before because of the cancelled fork but know there's no more worries of taking over the network and choice on what chain to support. This bring up everyone's confidence to buy some more bitcoin.
12842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ethminer.io scam? on: November 08, 2017, 09:33:39 PM
any new comments about this site?

Don't believe with such "miner" website on the internet. They have been all around and with different alt coins, before they are into bitcoin but after their popularity that these cloud mining scams aren't really serious with what they are doing and they only have one goal to scam people they are now trying to shift into some alt coins, LTC and ETH but there will be more to come I guess. Never believed on the promises of these scams they are good in those words but you'll cry in the end.
12843  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashFlare.io gone out of there mind on: November 08, 2017, 09:20:06 PM
They made their move, And I visit my account since I have several ETH there, though I will not recommend to invest on this site anymore and to update the OP here's the new rates of the minimum withdraw of each available mining on hashflare

Code:
Update 08.11.2017 13:15:00 UTC:
Withdrawals are enabled, however, the minimum withdrawal amounts have been temporarily increased for monitoring purposes. We estimate this to be reverted within the next few days.
The temporary amounts are currently:
Bitcoin: 0.1 BTC
Ethereum: 2.5 ETH
Dash: 1.5 DASH
ZEC: 1.5 ZEC
Quoted from Hashflare.io

However 2.5 ETH I still to high for the minimum withdraw lol

That is still too much, $750 worth of withdrawal? So this is what happened with their for the next "48 hours" and they promised again to change it for next few "days". What are they trying to do with their investors, this is really going through into something. Did you ever withdraw your funds there already? If I were you I'm going to rush to quickly get out of their platform anyway. To those newbies out there just don't invest on them anymore.
12844  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashFlare.io gone out of there mind on: November 07, 2017, 11:04:09 PM
Looks like they are starting to trigger now, for those people that invested to hashflare better to pull out your funds as you can right now. Don't care about the increased minimum withdrawal, it's better to get it out now or it will hurt you to see them runaway with your money. I pity those investors that are still endorsing them to newbies here that keep on asking about cloud mining because they are trusting it and yet they are far from the minimum cash out. While it's still early and once you reached that minimum withdrawal or you can exit now, exit immediately many things can happen for less than 48 hours.
12845  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info wallet big bug on: November 07, 2017, 10:54:24 PM
I created my wallet in May 2013. Recently was having trouble logging in and finally was forced to do a wallet recovery.
Good to know that you did recovered it, have you use the recovery phrase/12-mnemonic words for recovering it?

After the wallet recovery I had a new wallet address and my funds along with the original address are no where to be found within the account.

Yes all of us who are using blockchain.info does have new wallet address and it keeps on generating a new one. But how did it happened that your balance wasn't there, it's such a big bug.

Contacted support on multiple channels and have yet to get a response.

Usually when I'm emailing them with my problems they are responsive for an hour or two.

Since this was huge chunk of my life savings Im not doing to well.
That's why if you are saving that much use a wallet that you hold the private keys.

If anyone is in a similar situation please contact me and if anyone can assist in recovery Ill make it worth your while.

Believe this all stems from the migration from the legacy platform.

It's quite a bug that you can't see the balance? or have you ever tried to look at the history of transaction?
12846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty or Airdrop ? on: November 07, 2017, 10:41:29 PM
Bounty or Airdrop ? - what is more popular and where you can earn more?
Airdrop's aren't giving too much but free money is free money right? Everyone wants to have some money even those shit coins will be given to you. I'm not active with this thing as it will only waste my time. But if you want to earn more go with bounties. And you did posted on the wrong section, bounties and airdrops aren't for bitcoin discussion. What you need to do is to go at the bottom left of this thread and click move topic > Service Discussion Altcoins.
12847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak and correction coming on: November 07, 2017, 10:33:30 PM
Don't be even sorry and regretting on that thing. How about me? I did sold at different levels, $1000, $2000,$3000,$4000,$5000 so looking at the price now that's a big difference on the possible profit that I may get if I wasn't able to sold some of my stash. Phunixx is right, be glad that you sold at higher price and don't be like me though I have still some hope and bitcoin on hold let's be glad that the price keeps on moving and the correction happened a while ago.
Most of us do really make such things which we did able to sell off our stash not on the exact time but i would normally say that this is a usual thing because we are just humans we cant predict the future which would lead up on making decisions and later on we do regret why we do such thing and missing out on making some good money but as you said regretting should really be not on mind as long we do sell in profits then consider it as a good move and dont stress out yourself. We do know crpytocurrencies are volatile which price is really unpredictable.
We really can't predict what's possible to happen in the future and in times of satisfaction whatever the price of bitcoin by that time, we will sell. And the correction has come and everyone was quite disappointed and yet happy on this, as after the correction we know what's about to come. I do believe that we can now pass $8,000 and as Goldman Sach says it can go $7,900 and who's been waiting for McAfee's prediction to happen for the next 3 years?
12848  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Investing in real estate on: November 07, 2017, 10:18:21 PM
An ICO claiming to be investing into real estate, is either a scam or not worth it.
I agree with that Welsh, there I recently see there were ICO's that has a tagline like that. And I'm quite skeptic about that project since they are highlighting real estate.

If you want to invest in real estate then do it directly and don't go through any other means.

This is the best thing to do if someone wants to invest into real estate. You have tangible real property that you can see and you may want to remember on how hard you worked for it.

The problem with a lot of ICOs they are just out there to earn a quick buck and don't actually care about the project.

True, most of them are doing it that way.
12849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak and correction coming on: November 06, 2017, 03:15:44 PM
This train shows no sign of slowing down. Already above $7100. HODL.
No sign and it can probably continue up until the hard fork ends. Why people are keep on thinking when there's a rapid increase for bitcoin's price, it's a bubble? How many times did those people who hates the pump that bitcoin is a bubble. If it is on a bubble it did popped even before reaching $2,000 but it didn't and now it's getting far and getting close to another milestone. We are expecting a correction but that's not going to stop people from investing, it's a buy back time when correction is happening.

It's going parabolic as I type. This could mean it will start slowing down and going into plateau phase. Either way if you sold at $6950 you missed out on a $300 rise. I'd have regretted selling at that point because I'd have to buy back in at a higher price. Nothing wrong with taking profits along the rise but don't think just because it went high it can't go higher. Lesson learned in Bitcoin.

Be glad you sold and took profit so you can buy back in the coming dip  Smiley

12850  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Growing transaction volume in the Philippines on: November 06, 2017, 02:45:04 PM
Last week, it was reported that the Bitcoin transactions going in and out of the country has reached over $6 million, and now the Central bank of the Philippines will be issuing new guidelines regarding Bitcoin legality.

They gave no hint as to what their plans are, but officials from the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas gave positive remarks, and even mentioned that cryptocurrency may help in the progress of the country.

There are so many bitcoin users on the Philippines and it's leading exchange can't even cater the queries of their clients. There are exchanges that are being licensed by the BSP and it was officially told that the government is supporting bitcoin/cryptocurrencies. For those people that wants to know the link here you go http://www.philstar.com/banking/2017/09/05/1735769/bitcoin-operators-under-bsp-scrutiny as the price is growing now. Expect more transactions will come up.

Bitcoin will really be used more in the Philippines since there are lot of Filipinos around the world, Overseas Filipinos Workers send money to their relatives back to the country and the use of bitcoin for it would really help them lessen the transaction fees. And besides most Filipinos are computer literate and crypto currency can easily be understood by them.

It's not only being used in the Philippines that people from offshore are sending money to their loved ones there through bitcoin. And also in other some countries people who are in the same situation are using bitcoin for sending remittances as it's cheaper and faster than the usual way of remitting through Western Union and other the same money remitting companies. I didn't know that most of the Filipino's are literate, do you have the statistics on that thing?
12851  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin not arrived at vircurex. on: November 06, 2017, 02:25:04 PM
What happened to your problem? Does it arrived to your vircurex account? I never used them but base on your wallet address, the last transaction you made was on 2017-10-25 11:36:07 and it has 0.00923758 BTC. And by looking at the charts by that time price of bitcoin is $5,500+ so computing the whole amount of bitcoin's sent was equivalent to $50. Are you sure that it never get into your vircurex account? I do believe that was your $50 worth of bitcoins that you had bought.

are they really selling 500k bitcointalk database ?!!?!??!

Now that is a major bummer and security breach ....

What do you mean? Are you pointing out to CCtalk.io or any other forum? Try to be more specific of what you are saying.
@CCtalk.io alamin, I visited your forum but it seems that you've got a very low traffic. And you did run a signature campaign or pay per post on your forum? As I visited cointalk, I was redirected to cctalk and was able to read this
Quote
All above payments have been completed.
Yes, there was a pay per post campaign on cointalk but on cctalk there isn't any. We are looking for natural traffic, but it seems that people who usually comes to participate in campaign are always temporary and leaves when the campaign is over. So we prefer creating good reasons for joining than making money making programs. Smiley

I see, we can't blame people that are only for the campaign but still there are faithful members that are for the exchange of knowledge about crypto and just want to meet other people in some platforms. Well I'm outta here good luck to your forum, I'm just speculating there but I didn't registered since I feel that's enough. Wishing you the success with your forum alamin!

SO if We use from Electrum , it`s fee is very very normal and low Huh or this site follows Blockchain rules too ?

what we shold do now?

please help me

I have an electrum wallet and do trades with my some of my bitcoins there but the thing on electrum. I only trust it's security but with it's fee it's higher than blockchain.info. If you want to have some lower fees, you can go with blockchain.info this is the web wallet that I've known so far that is even more charging lower fees. You can also set the fee on your transaction if you want to pay lower fee but expect that it will take a lot of time so make sure that you don't need it on a rush.

12859  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there legit mining site? on: November 02, 2017, 10:33:27 AM
Cloud mining sites mostly end in a scam so don't waste your time and money in finding a good one to invest instead buy some good coins with that money and sell at high to make a profit.
Most of them are scams and I'm not advising any of my friend nor any member here to invest to those cloud mining websites. We do have only one thought on the cloud mining websites, they are all scams for us. There are remaining some operating that has real support and mining farm. But still it's better to stay to this type of investment, cloud mining contracts are absurd. If I were you, don't believe those contracts it's much better to hold your bitcoins out there.
12860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to $14 million on: November 02, 2017, 10:12:16 AM
Nice computation I didn't have any idea on how much the world has total assets. But talking about millions of bucks? I'm only thinking about with John McAfee's prediction about eating his D on national TV if bitcoin will not reach $500,000. It is my only hope but this will be the time that every person that has 1 bitcoin will belong to the millionaires club and this world will be totally turned into a world of cryptocurrency. Every transaction will be cashless, can't wait for this day.
