1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo will hit 200$ again? on: August 16, 2018, 03:38:11 AM
hello guys

you think Neo will hit 200$ again?

or it will be dead ?

It won't be dead, but i think it won't hit $200 either. NEO is a good coin, but if there is nothing news, then there won't be any price increment.
For the current market, it is good to buy NEO and holding it. Because i know the correction of this bear market will coming someday.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10x below coins good to invest? on: August 16, 2018, 03:28:55 AM
i see that some top 20 coins are 10x from its all time high from 8 months ago. like tron , xrp and neo etc. does that mean its safer (because its a top coin) and probably will go back to its all time high within a year?

Those coins 10x down because the current market is dipping. The new bottom of this year may hit.
Buying a good known coins is the right decision because there is a possibility that coins value will increase back later.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: August 15, 2018, 01:33:27 AM
I had a small scale investment on bitcoin and i invested on it when the market price is 30% higher. I never thought that market is going to fall down which results to the loss of some of my money if i will sell my bitcoin holdings now. Seeing the market price i consider it as a damage which is 30%. Well if i may ask you do you feel any damage right now? I wanna know who are those people who are investing prior to the market price fall down?

The current market not bring major damage for bitcoin holders. But it is different stories for altcoins.
Altcoin market is very bad this time. I believe there are many holders damaged by this bear market. My investment down about 50%.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIKE IT OR NOT, BITCOIN IS AN INVESTMENT on: August 14, 2018, 02:46:54 AM
                              In an economic sense,
An INVESTMENT is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth.
                                        In finance
An INVESTMENT is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or will later be sold at a higher price for a profit.

I really don't want to turn these into an economics class but the both definition of what investments are clearly should settle the argument of whether BTC is truly an investment or not.

Some peoples may not agree with your opinion, but that is not problem for us because everyone can think what they believe.
Bitcoin has became an investment because the value is very high in the market. In 2010, i think there were no peoples thought bitcoin as an investment.
1305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: August 14, 2018, 02:33:59 AM
Yesterday i purchased bitcoins from bit bargain (which i do quite frequently) and when i transferred them to my electrum wallet it shows as received but the amount is +0 and my balance is 0. 0.016015btc is the amount which i transferred and i'm not sure what do do, any help?

Maybe a bug in the wallet ? If your balance is okay, then the log of your transactions is error.
Try to contact the electrum wallet support, they may help you to find what is going on.
Or maybe you can join the telegram group of electrum that has admin on it.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to invest? on: August 13, 2018, 02:55:48 PM
I have $500 and I want to invest it wisely. tell me successful altcoins where you can send my money.

Friend, if you want to investing on something, make sure you are very familiar with coins or project you want to buy or invest.
some successful altcoins in the market are ETH, NEO, XRP, XMR, EOS, etc. Those coins are successful projects, but you still need to see about their background project.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How we can stop scam ICOs lanching? on: August 12, 2018, 02:52:08 PM
I think we should protect to issue scam ICOs in the crypto market. It creates misconception between new user and about market. What you think?

We can stop scam ICO to be created by not contributing on their ICO. Both investors and bounty hunters will have to do some due diligence.
Many scam ICO will die eventually if investors not sending them money, and no hunters promote their project.
1308  Other / Archival / Re: How to earn altcoin every days? on: August 12, 2018, 02:38:53 PM
There are many ways people earning in altcoin in regular basis. What is your methods for earning in altcoin?

Trading?
Airdrop?
Bounty?
Others?

Why mining is not available in your list ? Mining is the most stable way to earn altcoins. You can get altcoins everyday by mine it.
My method is simple, just think you need some capital to make a profitable business. You can buy mining tools with your capital money, and start mining.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: August 11, 2018, 05:32:28 PM
Have you ever take wrong decision when you were panic. share your experience

Making a decision in panic situation will only make the wrong moves.
Always use your clear thinking and rational, not using your emotion because it is only temporary.
I have never take a decision when im panicking. I usually wait some time after the panic has gone.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: August 11, 2018, 05:23:46 PM
I am very sure as a newbie you should learn much about cryptocurrency, because some peoples say crypto is a bubble or something bad without even knowing what is crypto. In this forum, there are many information you can get by reading a certain topic about cryptocurrency.
Just spend your time everyday to read it, and you will get the right understanding about cryptocurrency.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your criteria to invest in any ICO? on: August 11, 2018, 05:12:59 PM
I would like to know what criteria you guys looks for to invest in any ICO?

I normally afraid to invest in any ICO if i like the project then i can invest in it when it will launch on any exchange.

Can you guys trow some light on ICO's in details whether it is good to invest in good project's ICO or better to wait for it to launch on any exchange?

My criteria of good ICO is first, they will need to have a unique project. Otherwise, they won't be able to beat the existing competitor.
The project must have some advisors who can be confirmed about their support on that ICO. And their team should have a real profile to avoid scam.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcointalk vs moonforum on: August 11, 2018, 05:05:43 PM

1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: August 11, 2018, 04:51:49 PM
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

If my coin has increased above 200% over night, There must be something good happening on the project of the coin.
Therefore, i will keep holding it because there is a possibility to increase more later if the project doing very good..
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: August 11, 2018, 04:38:28 PM
Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

Nowadays ICO with KYC is seems normal for me because the ICO company will facing the regulations to legalize their company.
if you know the ICO is good and not a scam, i think it is worth to give your identity details to them.
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone could create a two way factor digital wallet? on: August 11, 2018, 04:27:25 PM
I like the idea that every time you do a transfer on your digital wallet to another digital wallet a two way factor should be indicated thus it will notify the owner if there is any transactions to be made so as to secure more the digital wallet being held. I wish that this is already applied on some digital wallets and if there is any please comment on the thread and i will checked on it. This will minimize hackers to hack digital wallet.

You can do this in the exchange wallet. For some peoples, they prefer using exchange wallet because it is more secure.
But actually, there are some exchanges have been hacked. So, there is not really very secure wallet.
anyway, i think you cannot use 2fa on your personal wallet.
1316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Really Causing Environmental Damage? Maybe not that much... on: August 11, 2018, 04:04:47 PM
Yes, bitcoin mining is not really causing damage for our environment.
If you see the real gold mining or other metal mining, they should causing more damage for environment because their waste products.
cryptocurrency mining is only consuming electricity and doesn't have waste products.
1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: August 11, 2018, 03:53:56 PM
I have seen many threads talking about should I sell now or wait till BTC moons. When I see these threads I marvel and move on to check on different topics or threads because I know the person doesn't know what he is talking about. Diving more into cryptocurrencies, when you sell now it means you are a coward and don't even know the kind of cryptocurrency you are dealing with. One thing is that, its really kinda pity to see those topics raised. I have set a goal and until that goal is not, I will never sell BTC and that's me.I want ask that is it because those selling the coin are newbies and are afraid of loosing some small $s or they haven't read much about bitcoin or the cryptocurrencies or they have low knowledge about the blockchain technology?

For now, maybe some whales has sold their btc, and not only btc but the altcoins aswell. Because you can see the crypto price on the market now, very low. I doubt if everyone in cryptocurrency has read much about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Most peoples only want to gain quick profit by buying with low price and selling with the higher price.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE? on: August 11, 2018, 03:30:35 PM
This forum was created for people to learn more about bitcoin and not to hate it or spread false information about it. Guys, is it enough that these days we sit here Angry and here all sorts of FUD being spread about bitcoin saying all sorts of things which are not true???
Let's not forget that it is as a result of these these FUDs that brings all sorts of panic sells which brings the value of bitcoin down and what bores me is that at the end the come back here and say, "Finally bitcoin is dead" forgetting the very fact that they were the very ones that caused it. But they can't because bitcoin is still strong.

No, you don't need to wasting your energy to do that. The haters will left on bitcoin if they already lost hope.
We are the community are encouraged to spread the good thing about bitcoin to minimize the fud.
Anyway, i believe there are many peoples in crypto who don't easily get fooled by the fud.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I hold my altcoin for years in my wallet? on: August 02, 2018, 04:28:52 AM
•What if I dont have any money ? And I decided to hold my altcoin at my wallet.
•Will the value remain?

For example

I got a Klarity token and I got no gas so I will leave it there for a year or two.

•Any chances of value getting higher? Or it will die to years later?

That is a token, not a coins. You can hold your tokens in your eth wallet, it is fine as long your wallet is safe.
The value of your token will depends on the project of your token. If the project success, then there will be many buyers want to buy the token.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: August 02, 2018, 04:02:39 AM
News headline says "76% of This Year’s ICOs Are Already Under Water"  and most of these are ICOs launched at the first quarter of this year.
If you’re going to invest in an ICO, then, the message is clear: be selective, choose blockchain projects over anything else and make sure you get into the pre-sale. Otherwise, you’ll be wasting your time and your ethereum.

Watch out folks!  Grin

https://news.bitcoin.com/76-of-this-years-icos-are-already-under-water/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications

Last year there were many ICOs running. But because there were many scam projects, investors quite afraid to participating.
In this year, the number of ICOs reduced because there are many failed ICOs.
Even the good ICO have token price below ICO price. So i think 2018 is not good.
