1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: July 27, 2020, 04:26:49 PM
Please there's something I really want to understand about this crypto industry because at times as a newbie in this cryptocurrency industry you might get this wrong by making more mistakes in crypto. Does crypto name really matter before it become successful?
I don't think so, for me the name is just a tag and part of the project's branding function, the more important is the use case because it was a primary and longterm tool for creating a demand of its token. including its product and services offered. so, In my opinion, the name is also important for branding purposes.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum : Its not too late on: July 26, 2020, 03:46:50 PM
Hi guys

I believe that the recent movement by Ethereum is good , because it shows the strength even though the 2.0 launch was delayed. If you missed out on buying when it was $133 ( in Jan ) its not too late - its still a great investment in my view. Obviously there will be other altcoins that COULD have a much bigger return from now , but also with much higher risk. I made a more detailed video of my thoughts here : https://youtu.be/gencUwUpwrM
Mate, most of the crypto-currencies are always move like that, rise today and dip tomorrow the price changes in the 24 hours basis. thats why it's also common with Ethereum, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?  because most of them are always moving like that. therefore I conclude that there is no late or early scenario when it comes to buying cryptocurrencies because it was a neutral movement that dictates the market, meaning. you can buy today or even tomorrow if you like. no regrets.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What more can a project teams wish for ??? on: July 26, 2020, 03:24:18 PM
It's always for the best interest of the project if they use top exchanges to raise fund, there will be better results

1. Enough money for future developments
2. High trading volumes and enough liquidity
3. Exposure to more investors and whales and even traders

what more can a project team want?

This is why I've Zero my mind that serious projects will always aim for top exchanges, the results are already clear as crystal
I think thats the reality and it is very common, but not all projects can list in top volume crypto exchange like Binance. But besides that reality still, many projects want to list in top crypto exchange because it was a common goal in every project, more liquidity meaning more money to support the continuous development of the project thats the logic behind in that common dream.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Anticipated To Reach $5 Billion In Total Value on: July 25, 2020, 10:58:11 AM
I'm happy with the recent development of the Defi marketplace, But let's consider the fact that the rise of Defi market cap was too fast and I'm afraid that it will be categorized as a bubble-like what happen in 2017-2018 in the crypto market, my question is where is the demand came from? and why is that the Defi market cap is rising so fast, is the growth of Defi marketplace is organic or just induce artificially, questions like that makes me doubt about the recent spike of Defi marketplace.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO GIVEAWAYS REQUESTING YOU TO SEND FUNDS TO RECEIVE ARE SCAMS on: July 24, 2020, 12:44:23 PM
If any promotions or even giveaways that need to deposit first before you can get your reward it's better to ignore it. its an obvious scam, If you encounter it first then don't join or participate in that promotion or giveaways, It's better to avoid it and if you can warn others thats better so that no one will become a victim of this cheap modus. the crypto industry has plagued with heartless scammers and fraudulent actors thats why don't let your guard down anytime.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 24, 2020, 12:18:34 PM
I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.
I think its a nonsense accusation how can you say that when the bounty allocation is just a small portion of the total supply, and also the bounty payment was held many months before being distributed to the participants, and sometimes bounty hunters have not even paid for many months of promotion, for example, the project like DigitalBits they proud by not paying its early promoters, thats why don't be too harsh and blame bounty hunter they are only working to promote any project without any guarantee to be paid.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Mining Is Now More Profitable than Other Altcoin Mining on: July 23, 2020, 11:40:49 AM
I love in this new development in Dogecoin nowadays, but I think this is just temporary because if we examine a little deeper this price increase has no solid foundation but its only result of an aggressive marketing campaign that brings good but temporary results on Dogecoin price today. If we planning to invest and buy Dogecoin to hold just be sure that you are aware in all possibility to happen without any warning but on the miner's side I think it's not risky to pursue Dogecoin mining today it's better to exploit this advantage until the Dogecoin price is in green.territory.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: July 23, 2020, 10:58:01 AM
I don't believe that ICO's are dead, instead, it was level up and implemented with added combo meaning ICO' and IEO was combined to make more effective in raising funds and I believe its working, and because of this results, I think investors are just observing precautionary measures to avoid being scam but still looking for promising projects to invest. thats what I believe.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Token - All Lives Matter on: July 22, 2020, 03:08:14 PM
A new crypto project? called "All lives Matter" (ALM) sounds interesting, But it should be unique from others, If you ask me, I don't interested in the names, whether it sounds popular or timely connected to the recent events. But if All Lives Matter (ALM) token will push through the project should focus on its use case to compete with the existing crypto projects in the industry. I believe that every project should be given a chance as long as it was legitimate and useful. thats my stand about it.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Calls On Hackers to Attack Ethereum 2.0 in Exchange for Bug Bounty on: July 22, 2020, 02:34:51 PM
There is a sense of confidence from the Ethereum developers side about the Ethereum 2.0 development, But I doubt it because the reward is too cheap, I don't think that the top calibre hackers are going to accept that offer, or maybe something will happen in that event thats why let us wait and see how the Ethereum 2.0 security will defend its system.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This Ripple executive should not be praising China on: July 21, 2020, 12:25:01 PM
I think that statement is just portraying the truth, Its noticeable that United States is behind with China in terms of cryptocurrency innovation thats why Mr Trump and U.S government should not take it as a hostile act against the United States. by the way, China and United States relationship is deteriorating and the crypto industry might be affected somehow because the citizens of both superpower nation are actively participating in cryptocurrency development so I hope it will not result into a big problem.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC: Top DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization on: July 21, 2020, 12:00:05 PM
Coinmarketcap now has a display for DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization.

It's just how they define tokens to be DeFi though, And do you think it's a complete list or something is missing? I think this is great though, specially for those who are not familiar with this new hype is crypto market, so good job CZ (although sometimes I think he is becoming too powerful!).
CoinmarketCap is improving a lot and has some new features and functions to explore, I hope CZ will continue to exert reform on CMC to eradicate all those scam projects that were listed in CMC, by the way, Defi is very popular nowadays thats why its time to add it on CMC for reference purposes visit CoinMarketCap now and try it for yourself.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: July 21, 2020, 11:41:12 AM
Thats the best thing to do, since crypto investment is a volatile kind of investment thats why we should deal cryptocurrency with caution and if we decide to buy and hold any cryptocurrency we should consider to study first about that project before investing, fill your bags with caution is a must-do to prevent or minimize the risk of losing our hard-earned money. and I agree with all of you mentioned it's very useful to educate new investors before investing in a particular crypto project.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to Sell LEDU on Dcoin!! Fake Volume? on: July 20, 2020, 04:05:17 PM
Its very common scenario mate most cryptocurrency exchange uses that trading bot to create a faked volume to look more attractive in the eyes of traders one of the many examples is the Bitforex same as Decoin and other small to the medium size exchange platform, they're using a bot to do fake buy and sell trading in there respective exchange platform thats why I stop doing trading in those crypto exchange so far only Binance exchange fill my needs in trading.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take about Tron (TRX) on: July 20, 2020, 03:46:18 PM
Well, I'm not a judgmental person, and I'm taking Tron ecosystem seriously as a potential coin in the future, If we look into consideration, take Dogecoin as an example it is an old coin without clear use case but look at Dogecoin now still surviving even in the longest bearish period, and If we compare, Tron with Dogecoin Tron is far better than Dogecoin thats why I believe Tron has a huge potential to succeed if the momentum was sustained thats my take about Tron.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk trolls DogeCoin and it’s prices rises? on: July 19, 2020, 03:12:58 PM
Thats how cryptocurrency works, and we can't do anything about it, the price volatility of any cryptocurrency can bring more harm than good, thats for sure thats why everyone must take extra precaution before dealing any crypto-related investment or else you wake up someday that you are already lost all your hard-earned money, move away from those hypes induce cryptocurrency pumps, instead choose to invest with those top-ranking cryptocurrency in the market with a true use case, Dogecoin is an old cryptocurrency but it has no define use-case so its a risky coin to hold. forget Elon Musk his a Billionaire and money is not a problem with her.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina’s telecommunications hacked, demands Monero for ransom on: July 19, 2020, 02:56:12 PM
Thats another bad news for the crypto industry, once again the cryptocurrency was used for ransom and this time it was the privacy centred coin the Monero, and also it can give bad publicity for the entire crypto industry as well and maybe it will cause another government intervention, If that happens I hope that not the entire crypto industry will suffer, After this incident Im sure it will bring another big blow in those privacy centred coins particularly Monero and several other privacy centred cryptocurrency that exist today. thats only my opinion and Im not an expert regarding this matter.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO might soon become an history in crypto world soon on: July 18, 2020, 12:59:05 PM
IEOs are not public offerings, which entirely misses the principle of crowdfunding, am I right or wrong? ICO is the only fundraising strategy that works wonders publicly but since we have no better crowdfunding than the not so transparent crowdfunding (IEO) we just have to accept things as they are presently?

The only crowdfunding I'm looking forward to is DYCO ( dynamic coin offering) which I once thought was a complete joke but not until Orion Protocol used this crowdfunding platform to raise fund and the result were satisfying, DYCO is from DAO MAKER and it is designed to increase the effectiveness of token fundraising events.

For the first 16 months after token distribution, the entire circulating supply is backed by USDC. 80% of the funds raised initially are set aside to be used to buy back tokens from dissatisfied holders.

Note: I'm just sharing this on my own, I'm not part of DYCO team and I'm not paid to do this, if you want to learn more about DYCO check the link down below, thanks

https://daomaker.com/dyco
I don't think so, IEO that was done on a legitimate and trusted crypto exchange is much attractive and safe compared to all kind of kinds of fundraising that exist today If your so-called DYCO method is different and unique from others why it's not yet patronized by newly established projects? it sounds odd to me, But if DYCO was truly good, safe and effective well it deserves a break to replace the previous crowdfunding methods like ICO, STO etc. that was prone to scammers.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has "Decentralization" become a buzz word these days? on: July 18, 2020, 06:28:36 AM
Decentralization is a common language nowadays especially in the crypto industry, and the tool to make decentralization works was already there, but why until now decentralization is not yet fully achieve and just become only an option, I think the main problem is the legality. In some countries, governments, and territories they consider that the decentralization ideas is a treat to their governments and because of that reason decentralization is very hard to implement, I believe that the DeFi's popularity today is just a hype and later on it will be returned to normal.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDEX Market Google Store SCAM ALERT on: July 18, 2020, 06:08:59 AM
If that was already verified by Google Play's Play protect will that was a clear lapse on their part, Just be careful guys even a large and sophisticated app market like Google play store is not safe from the proliferation of fake app it's better to check carefully from the original party issuer to minimize the risk of being scam that might result of losing our hard earn money.
