You are welcome to the forum JazzyJester, I hope you follow the most important advice you get from other members on here, for example reading the rules of the forum before proceeding because as a newbie you won't be able to tell what you could do wrong, I have used other crypto forums online but believe me, bitcointalk forum differs from other crypto forums.

Avoid Plagiarism and Spamming at all costs, I believe these two are the most important that could lead to a ban if care is not taken.

1302  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚖️ Crypto Gambling Foundation ⚖️ - Fair Gambling For All on: March 29, 2023, 10:23:30 AM
I have played some roullete and slots this week and I lost all the gamble, I use what I could afford but that's not even why I make this comment.

Is there anything in the gambling space called fair? I don't believe that fair gambling exists, because I've tried some gambling this week and I just keep losing, I got some free rolls too and I keep losing, I seem that gambling slots are wired in such a way that gamblers will lose more than the owners if this is right why are some gamblers saying the word Fair in gambling, I believe such don't exists and I don't want to believe that I am the worse gambler.

1304  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 28, 2023, 10:19:43 AM
All families are not the same, if your family is built on trust and love there is no reason why you shouldn't help them, all you have to do is watch if they will return the favor someday when you need help, those people that feel hurt and decide to cut off tides because they are denied help are bad people, they are not thinking straight, if someone failed to help it doesn't mean they don't want to, everyone has his or her struggles so they may not be able to provide any help.

When you are blessed with a certain set of people in your life, you will go to any length to help them or get them out of trouble, if I have to say no to anyone it's because I knew they are not worth it, some are so comfortable owing people.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 28, 2023, 09:50:37 AM
Referral bonus tasks are not for everyone, most of these bonuses are calculated based on how much those you referred have deposited on the online casino or how many times they have played some games on the casino, gone are the days where all you have to do is refer people and as they sign up on the platform your referral bonus will be credited to you, for someone who has fewer friends that are into online gambling this is a waste of time like OP said, you are better off with other dividend opportunities available on online casinos.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I might consider selling my Bitcoin. on: March 28, 2023, 08:34:44 AM
I like your first point about health, you can't become successful if you are not in good shape yourself, you need to pray for better health in the future to enjoy your investment when the reaping time is right, a healthy man is indeed a wealthy man.

As for the business opportunity, I have sold some valuable things I have to buy Bitcoin, and I do not see anything worth trying out except Bitcoin, maybe it's just how I think, but I do have my own business and most of my money goes straight into Bitcoin investments. In my opinion, Bitcoin remains a golden business opportunity, because whatever business you pursue is still all about making more money. Isn't it?

The government has banned crypto for years in my country, since I was not accepting Bitcoin payment, there was no need to panic, I kept buying Bitcoin using my bank account, thanks to Peer 2 Peer on the Binance exchange, you can only get yourself in trouble if there is any word related to crypto when sending money from your bank account to someone else.

I have seen a lot of hardship in my life, there is nothing left that can shake my faith in holding my Bitcoin, if Bitcoin have no future the government wouldn't be trying all they can to kill it, definitely this digital currency is working.

1307  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: March 28, 2023, 08:04:05 AM
@Lovesmayfamilis have said it all, only a shameless piece of trash spend that high amount of money on alcohol, they have nothing interesting going on in their lives, and these types of men are hardly responsible, I am sure that there is a high chance their wives are the one paying the bills in their home, they are just shameless men.

You need to detached yourself from such men, as they will waste your valuable time and money away, this type of friend won't help you in life, because you have a goal and they don't, detach before it's too late.

This year I detached myself from some set of friends, they came knocking and asking me to go out with them, I don't drink alcohol like you but I see no reason to follow them and waste my time, this is what they always do, waste time when I should be busy with my online jobs, it got to a point that they named me an Introvert and I don't even complain. Today we are far apart, they don't call me and I don't call them, I like it because this is the only way I can move forward in life.

Avoid time wasters.

Avoid unnecessary spending.

Avoid people that don't have a life or goal.

These set of people are toxic to your life, ask yourself what you have gained since you have been going out with them, you guys will only chat about someone else, or talk about football, or do more gossip, all this are time wasting.
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the biggest means of fulfilling dreams in the future. on: March 27, 2023, 01:27:45 PM
Bitcoin will be the biggest means of fulfilling your dream in the future only if you know how to invest at the right time and hold for a very long period, with the way things are tight in the world right now people are looking for quick means of earning money, that's why many Bitcoin investors are short term investors.

With the way you described your topic you make things seem too easy, however holding Bitcoin for a long time isn't that easy, a few things need to be done to make it easier, and the hardest part is making enough money to survive with your family and still be able to invest in Bitcoin.

Side income is very compulsory for mid-crypto investors that are not rich or working in large amount paying companies, the easier way to become rich with Bitcoin is to have a side income that you will keep using for Bitcoin accumulation.
1309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Never belittle my SATs because a drop of water makes an ocean on: March 27, 2023, 12:25:57 PM
This story is not very clear to me, how are you gathering sats when there is no more faucets that pay in Bitcoin anymore? The transaction fee of sending Bitcoin is enough to make anyone quit this crazy idea of yours, please share with us how you are doing this because now I'm interested.

You can't buy less than ten dollars worth of Bitcoin on exchange and be able to withdraw it, so I am curious how you making this possible, it costs almost 0.80$ to make a transaction with Bitcoin wallet.
1310  Economy / Economics / Re: What's is daily budgets or expenses as a bitcoiner? on: March 27, 2023, 11:29:26 AM
TBH, I spend less than 20$ per week, that's all I can say because I don't do the calculation on my daily spending, I feel that will be stressful somehow, I am from a country whereby the cost of living is very affordable, I can't imagine myself spending more than this because I don't make a lot per month from my job.

I do have a wine 🍇 store with my wife but we have plans for the income we are generating from this business, we need a house that we can call our own, and we have other investment plans that are been put to action already, so we limit our spending every week to the minimum, so far, things are going exactly like we plan it.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country tax your gambling winnings? on: March 27, 2023, 10:59:26 AM
In my country only those who have a gambling business are paying taxes, they players or gamblers are free to play, even if they win big amounts of money they are free to take it all, but I prefer gambling on my phone without anyone knowing how much I am making or losing, because if you win and it goes out in the public you are in for some possible danger, some gang lords will come knocking at your door or cross you on the street, they will ask you to give up some money for them.

This reason was why I wasn't into gambling because there was no online gambling at the time, you will have to visit the gambling den and if you win any money some people will want to forcefully take a part of the money.

Avoid going to any gambling location, it is not safe.

People are poisoned here after they win some money and decide to celebrate it among their friends, there was a case that a friend posing is other friend who won big money through bet and he was caught and arrested, he later confessed he did it because of jealousy.

When you win a large amount of money, keep the good news to yourself.
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stroing bitcoin is more secure in iPhone than in an Andriod phone on: March 26, 2023, 08:47:52 AM
IOS doesn't offer any better security and not prone to malware, you are dead wrong if you think this way, using iPhone won't safe your ass from phishing links when browsing the internet, it won't tell you that a link sent to your email is scam free.

It is the same thing with android phones too, both IOS and Android users that have crypto wallets installed on their phones need to be extra careful compared to someone who has a Ledger or Trezor hardware wallet.

You can't do anything offline on your IOS and Android apart from playing music and videos or games, you need to always turn on your internet connection and that's where the problem is when it comes to crypto wallet security.

If you are using both IOS and Android, be extra careful what you do on them, remember that the internet connection you have on the devices makes them vulnerable to scams and stealing of assets, avoid PMs with links, in emails, or connecting your wallet to the unknown platforms.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: March 26, 2023, 07:41:49 AM
Do you think social media is now becoming more a place for business than socializing, Could it be as a result of digitalization and things moving online or more people now starting business online because of need to somehow generate income or another source of income for self to survive the economic situations which is becoming tougher?

Are there any results in wasting time on a social media? The answer is no, this days social media is the source of sharing knowledge and information, its a good place for promotion of one's business or company, everyone needs money and the economy keeps getting tighter almost every year, people don't joke around anymore, that what when things was a little easier compare to today, now if you aren't saying something helpful on social media I will just have to ignore you to avoid wasting my time, I spend time of social media this days to gain some knowledge.

Economy situation has changed the way people think now, those who work 2 jobs per day have now added an extra job or more because they have a responsibility and they have to meet up before the month ends.
1314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you should trade reviews of crypto YouTubers with caution on: March 26, 2023, 06:53:29 AM
I love and hate crypto influencers on Youtube at the same time, and believe me, not all crypto Youtubers are that bad, although, for them, it's always about having more followers and getting themselves rich, but some of them do care about their followers, they bring good projects and tell people what they are buying.

The problem is people rely on these Youtubers and fail to do their own research on the projects before investing their money.

Suppoman that OP is talking about is doing something right, he cares about when you should buy your altcoins, I watched some of his latest videos and this man still insist that Bitcoin will go down to 12,000$, and he told his followers that entry point, when you are buying the alt is what matters , to me this is good advice, it's all about when you are buying, he has never told anyone to buy when the market is recovering.

He could be wrong about Bitcoin going to 12,000$, but this has not stop me from buying some bitcoin and  altcoins every months, I have enough money to survive and I will keep using the DCA strategy, till Bitcoin halving.

*Facts*

•People like relying on others when it comes to making money.

•They always avoid taking responsibility for themselves.

•Some don't know what DCA means, they put all their money in a project.

•Always rely on you, do your own research and make your choice.

I have come to learn about some gems through these Youtubers and I made some good money because of them, I heard about Cartesi, PYR, Aave, etc from Youtubers, if not I wouldn't dare invest a penny on these projects, the explanation and the breaking down of what these projects solve makes sense to me because though this I was able to have the courage to go deep with my research and I found out they are saying the truth.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 26, 2023, 06:13:33 AM
With AI it will be more easier to eliminate frauds and set a stronger level of protection because AI is far more capable of doing the intense cross checking and and more complex security checks, it is a load of work for human to do cross checking themselves as the chance of missing a spot is possible due to tiredness or laziness. All these work load can be shifted to AI and leave the investigation cases to humans to fix.

What else do you think a gambling casino can benefit from using AI technology?

I do believe that the integration of AI technology can further strengthen the security features of a gambling website. But there are still some instances where a manual checking with a representative is to be preferred. Relying completely on AI can have its certain drawbacks in which a normal operation of a person handling the business is still superior.

Personally, I would vote that AI be integrated but not on all processes. The technology of AI is still yet to be perfected as of the moment and this can at least apply supplementary rather than mainly.
Artificial Intelligence is differ from Bots, just want you to know that, I doubt that AI can make mistakes vs humans, if chatGPT can be this brilliant I doubt it will make mistakes when it comes to doing some paper works or looking for faults and fraud in a system, humans are likely to make mistakes at work easier because of distractions, stressful day, bad mood etc but AI has no feelings, they do what you ask them to do.

The only possible problem that could occur is the dev launching AI technology that's not been tested aggressively or hasn't passed the normal test with time, this is where some malfunctions may take place.
1316  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: March 25, 2023, 09:13:08 AM
If your job is not paying enough, find another, but my advice is to be a man of value, be someone that the world will need, you can learn something that people will want to hire your service, this is what brings in good money, do not follow what majority are doing, like in my country people like copy cat, once the see their friends opening an electronic store for example they will so the same too, so find something you are very good at and expand the idea then start making money out of it.

A man of productivity and services will always do fine in life, people with money will come looking for you because your service will always be needed.

1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 25, 2023, 08:00:15 AM
When some people ask questions about gambling, such as "Can someone can make a living through gambling? I don't like to engage in such conversations because those who doubt that gambling can change someone's life are usually those who have gambled and failed multiple times or those who don't really know gambling strategies.

Recently, a Uganda pastor who won 100million shillings decided to shut down his ministry. This left me with several questions in my head, such as ' Do religious leaders gamble? Is it right for religious leaders to gamble? Knowing fully well that most of them preach against gambling in their religious places. What is the ethical and moral implications of gambling, particularly in the context of religious practices and beliefs?

News source:
https://www.reubenabati.com.ng/news/pastor-shuts-down-church-after-winning-n100m-sports-bet

Pastors who gamble are not men of God. A real man of God would never get close to gambling because gambling is a sin. Some religions see nothing wrong with gambling, but the majority of them do.

If he can also quit his ministry because he won a lot of money, it indicates that he started that ministry to earn some money, just like many pastors in churches today who are mostly fake, and the fastest way to earn money is through religion, deceiving people by using God's name and corrupting their minds.

Most pastors chant the name of God for their own selfish gain, brainwashing people into fearing God, and exchanging money and fortune for their own selfish gain.
1319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto space: A Wild Wild West on: March 25, 2023, 07:11:56 AM
I know this project and some of my friends bought this token, he said, for investment. But it didn't take long for the price of this token to fall and many people lost, and that included my friends. Luckily they listened to my advice not to invest too much in this token. But due to their failed investment in this squid game project, my friends now don't really believe in cryptocurrencies.

In order to gain a deeper understanding of crypto, new crypto investors should start with Bitcoin, and learn why it differs from other altcoins. If they come across projects like Squid Game token, they will know that it's not a safe place to invest their money, The problem with some newbies is once they see others investing in scam projects and making money, they always want to get ahead, but they don't realize that the others are simply lucky.

Whenever I teach someone about crypto, I will only discuss Bitcoin, as this will give us both peace of mind, and prevent the possibility of losing money to scammers.
1320  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is your year with bitcoin so far? on: March 25, 2023, 06:43:51 AM
There is not much difference between this year and the last year, I wish that Bitcoin makes a new low because I still have the most money in stablecoins, and I am not satisfied with the amount of Bitcoin I was still able to gather, now that Bitcoin has rejected the 30ish price target, maybe we can see 24,000$ again, but all this won't last, we only have few months left, if 2024 gets here it is over for any DCA strategies because in 2024 you will be buying at a higher price and new loads of money will start getting into crypto.

2023 is the last opportunity for Bitcoin accumulators to get what they can before it's too late.
