Ok got them going.  Happy I ordered a little extra coolant.  Syscooling gives you more then enough tubing.

How much did you use?

I was thinking i used more then I did I appolgize been a long day with the corrupt card.  Just checked for exact amount I filled 2 and used 1200 cc so right around 600 cc each.   Which is less then 1L each.  So your suggestion was great.   I also didn't use all of the tubing, I estimated syscoolings cuts by eye and had some left.

Ok got them going.  Happy I ordered a little extra coolant. After looking i used around 600 cc each of fluid.  I also cut the tubing where I had some left by eyeballing length syscooling used.  Syscooling gives you more then enough tubing.

Hardest thing was one had no response on network.  Took a while but luckily it had a corrupt card in it.  I had a 2nd one so made a image re-flashed the card and was up and running.

Now i finally get to see them up and running Smiley  Have to say very nice design.  It allows 1TH is very small area compared to most miners.

My post install advice:
    • The starting IP should be 192.168.1.99
    • Get a nice screw driver you will be opening and closing case (10 screws per miner) to plug in pump, etc.
    • Have a little bowl or something for all the screws it's easy to drop the small screws
    • Test it with top of case off, to make sure it's working.  If you have problems taking case on/off adds up.

I will work on uploading a image in-case anyone has same problem I did.  Figuring it was micro sd card that was corrupt was quite a chore, and I was lucky to have a 2nd miner to clone it's micro sd card.[/list]

Did anyone actually give this guys any money?

Their quantity showed around 25 or so sold from initial 500 quantity they set.  We have heard no people saying they gave money, so could have been all paid with BTC and didnt send BTC.

It seems a little fishy... they get hacked before they release anything really? ( A video that really proved nothing is all they had.   Screen could have been manipulated).

The side of me that is a realist wonders if they put up fake hack.  They sure are not on forum ...... pretend to be hacked and walk away in sunset never talking to anyone again.
13187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Cloud mining services? on: October 29, 2014, 06:55:46 PM
I have accounts with GAW, Genesis Mining, and LTC Gear.

If you have a decent amount of money to invest (at least $1000) you should go to LTC Gear: http://ltcgear.com?apage=868 use the coupon code: "anniversary1yr" for 49% off + you will get 8% off when you pay with Bitcoin. As far as ROI it is the best deal running. Buy the anniversary shares that are featured on the main page. Keep in mind that you will need to keep checking back for them to be in stock.

I would not go jumping in to GAW. The ZenPool is not what it used to be and management is using everyone as an experiment for their new project. Genesis wouldn't be bad to jump the next time they lower their prices again but right now ROI seems pretty far away.

If your able to hardware mining is still lower priced, you have to have space and decent priced electricity.

Cloud mining is coming down in price though.  Some I admit have good prices.

As promised SMF software is up and running.

OP PMed with admin login details.

Please allow sometime for the nameserver changes to become active then cryptic.club should point to the "alpha" version of our forum Smiley

    EDIT: Changes has been reflected!!!!

    Please visit: http://cryptic.club/

Not much to see for now I know. Remember this started but 2 days ago......

I like the forum.  I have talked to OP and will be helping some Smiley.

Are you able to make a front page for news, articles, etc.   Have forum as subpage you click on main site to go to?

As it gets bigger we could add things such as BTC price to it.  And possibly a few other widgets.

13190  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ethernet Hub & Switches help! on: October 29, 2014, 02:14:31 PM
You should be able to plug the "uplink" port of the hubs/ switches directly into the "lan" ports on the router.

This was the important part of my post. (without the tech jargon)

Also if you do use a router you might look into firmware such as DDWRT.  I have one running it perfect not a single problem and it is a good 5+ year old router.   I am getting ready to flash another router with DDWRT soon to use in a different location.
13191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Next Hashlet Prime Algo is Scrypt N? on: October 29, 2014, 02:11:35 PM
Okay so the GAW Ceo had made a statement saying they had recently purchase 5Petahash worth of Hardware from Bitmain, now we all know how business works and the basics of it, so when you see that Bitmain has been developing a scrypt system (and we all know how much Gaw mines with scrypt) the L1 you can easily come to the conclusion that there will be some purchased by GAW especially since these miners are now "Sold Out" and many don't pre-order in the mining game. So this leads the to speculation that GAW will be making the next ALGO that primes can mine as Scrypt N giving a slight boost to profits, but keep in mind that Vertcoin is leaving N algo and others may follow suit.

I think it's a cat and mouse game.  Some of the asic resistant coins will always keep moving.

The fist to do N, X11, etc will see a big possibility of profit.   I am guessing the first N will be private for a little while, eventually making it to market.   GAW has a lot of money where who knows what is possible for them to do.

I can't wait to see what people do with these.  I'm sure upgraded cooling systems overclocking will be crazy.

I cant see them run either.  They have a pretty good radiator to begin with.   I'm looking forward to see it with some winter air.
13193  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN‘s Liquid Cooled Miner C1: It is not only cool, but it is cool on: October 29, 2014, 02:27:26 AM
So the power for the pump and fans looks like it's connected to somewhere inside the C1 and not directly to the power supply?

    http://shop.syscooling.com/article.php?id=8

    Thanks for instructions!

Does anyone know what IP the C1 starts out with?  Just trying to get ready.
    13194  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: RigWarz.com Mining Hardware Comparison on: October 29, 2014, 12:10:24 AM
Pre-orders are a hard thing to deal with since they don't really fit in the list but at the same time they are options we want to display the numbers for. You can currently use the checkbox filters at the top of the list to hide them.

Maybe they should be hidden by default? Any ideas on how to display the pre-orders are welcome, but we definitely think they should be displayed somewhere... maybe on their own tab?

Very good idea I would have hidden by default.  It just sets some false hope with certain ones.  Pre-orders are a gamble some great but a lot sadly have not lived up to promises and why most avoid.
13195  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ethernet Hub & Switches help! on: October 29, 2014, 12:06:34 AM
all good my head does too. I've honestly just given up. Mining at this point isn't profitable at all... might be better off w/ simply buying the bitcoins up front instead of mine and worry and pay for power, etc

It is much harder then it was.  If you have lots of power, space, and decent priced electricity you can still roi.  Each needs to do their own ROI for their mining, as buying is so low right now.
13196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN‘s Liquid Cooled Miner C1: It is not only cool, but it is cool on: October 28, 2014, 11:39:55 PM
My kit arrive today, here is some foto what is in the box.
    (saving space)

    Question:
Where does the 3x Fans and the Cooling pump pigtail plug in?

Photos on the syscooling web site looks like it plugs into the Miner... somewhere

Anyone have any idea where the cooling kit pigtail plugs in?

Syscooling gets all credit for this picture, it's on their site.   It shows everything plugged in.
    13197  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [BitMinter] i don't get it on: October 28, 2014, 09:27:55 PM
Using a standard computer to mine BTC just will not work.

You will get a little but one year old 333 MHz usb stick will beat your computer chances are if your mining BTC.   For most Scrypt is dead with GPU there are a few who have it left, do roi math but most likely mining with regular computer is not going to happen.
13198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Brand new to mining on: October 28, 2014, 09:25:49 PM
you'll really need to have a good hardware in addition to calculate the ROI.
I was also interested by mining, but as far as I saw in the statistics, you'll get a ROI of 69 cents after 3 months... which is not really worth it.

Well, this is my point of view, other could say something else.

    Kind regards,

Its not a one size fits all.  Everyone should do their math on their own.  Cheap electricity and space makes it possible still to roi, it is not guaranteed like early days.
13199  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ethernet Hub & Switches help! on: October 28, 2014, 09:21:37 PM
As a general philosophy - ethernet is not configured in "splits".  It is configured as a star.  A hub, switch or router would serve as the "middle", more hubs can be plugged into the "middle" to make little mini-star network nodes - an extended star.  Do not configure such that there are more than 4 cables in between your farthest device and the router - or if you're going to fileshare, no more than 4 cables between devices.

Google search "cat 5 extended star topology" and you can browse thousands of potential config images.

Better yet, post make and model numbers of the networking equipment and we'll try to help with the best config.

Honestly there is not a lot to help.  Find a router that can be used as a bridge.... turn on configure to connect to other wireless.  You then have 5 most likely ports.

Or use a wireless adapter and hub.  With this you could use a larger hub is advantage.

Any news if C1 is actually shipping as stated or going to be delayed?
Anyone received the cooling kit yet ?

I just checked my Bitmain account. My C1 has shipped via UPS to the US today. Currently awaiting clearance from customs(?). Smiley

I can verify they are shipping aswell.
