1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Three phases bounty distribution on: July 16, 2020, 01:27:55 PM
It's a good thing that few bounty managers are now limiting participants for bounties but another problem I'm bounty projects are dumps, one way that bounty managers can help to avoid dump is three phase distribution, many would probably hate this but c'mon we all want good $$$ from projects we promoted right? Controlling dump this way works, what do you think? I've seen bubbalex doing this and even COVIR that plan to use bitforex to raise funds plan to distribute tokens in three phases
I think it's a good idea to control the possible dump, the 3 phased bounty payment distribution like what Cartesi project was doing, Cartesi bounty campaign is managed by Bubbalex a good and honest bounty manager and it's very approachable thats why the bounty campaign that Bubbalex managed is a big hit for us who believe in him its a go for me as long as its not a scam project.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OneCoin scam promoters found dead! on: July 16, 2020, 01:14:41 PM
Oh well, RIP to these OneCoin scam promoters and condolences to their respective families.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/two-onecoin-promoters-found-dead-in-mexico

The first time I heard about OneCoin is from a good friend of mine. Before I was introduced to crypto, she was way ahead of me already. However, she was promoting OneCoin back then until it went scam. She attended various conferences and networking with the attendees to promote OneCoin and mostly got ignored.

This is what we truly get for promoting scams heavily in the internet.
This is a very unfortunate incident, it should not be resulting of losing lives if they were not greedy about money, It's a strong message to those people who have planned to scam others in the name of easy money that they should stop their wrongdoings because other victims would go beyond including the deadly option it's just like bad karma for those scammers may you rest in peace and condolence to their family.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising low market cap altcoins on: July 15, 2020, 10:45:40 AM
Most of the projects that listed are unfamiliar to me, only Utrust and Cartesi are quite familiar, I have some Cartesi tokens earned from Bounty and I'm still holding it in my Binance Cartesi wallet because I believe it's potential. It's interesting to know that Cartesi is an open-source project that connects Linux open-source software stacks with blockchain technology, for the creation of scalable DApps. I never heard that Linux has been used for the Blockchain project before so it's kinda new to me.
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat vs Crypto in money laundering on: July 15, 2020, 10:18:39 AM
Hi guys I just want to share a short prove showing that Fiat is been used more in money laundering schemes than crypto and if people attacks you with crypto's being used to launder money. Refer them to this article on ccn
Fiat Money Outpaces Bitcoin 800:1 for Money Laundering

https://www.ccn.com/fiat-money-outpaces-bitcoin-by-8001-for-nefarious-activities-report/
Fiat as an old currency still dominated the world's financial requirements and transactions thats why it's not surprising to called like that. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies only existed in 2008 up to present, while Fiat currency largely recognized all over the world, with or without internet, while cryptocurrency was only concentrated in a place that has an internet connection, and those illegal activities like money laundering are not limited in one place thats why Fiat as the worlds most recognized currency still the most laundered currency compared to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in on: July 15, 2020, 09:56:37 AM
Everything with crypto keeps getting better, thanks to binance, the team and CEO isn't aiming for their pockets only but helping crypto in general, they understand how important mass adoption is for crypto to survive in future, now I heard binance card is getting launched soon, thank you binance and team

Another good news this year is about PayPal involvement in crypto currency, imagine how easier mass adoption will become if PayPal implement crypto payment?

I even believe that Decentralized Finance and Stable coins will play major role too

So far.....So good with crypto, at least we are getting some where, step by step, bit by bit
Thats good news, to hear! will thats not surprise me, because Binance is doing great much this year in terms of development. As Binance users since 2017, I can say that Binance never stops to innovate from the simple and humble beginning to one of the crypto industry giants. On the Paypal side well as we all know that Paypal has millions of users for me it will possibly bring more positive development to the entire industry as well.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance upcoming delisting on: July 14, 2020, 03:36:39 PM
Thats bad news for the token holders, I think there is a big reason why those tokens were being delisted on Binance, I have also experienced traded those tokens like fuel and Arn at Binance in 2019 at it give me some good returns during that time, but I'm wondering why it was being delisted in the one of the worlds most popular and largest cryptocurrency exchange like Binance.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram bots strategy to scam airdrop participants on: July 14, 2020, 03:15:14 PM
Thats true most of them is a scam, Telegram bots just work like Ponzi scheme, and probably those so-called self drops are just designed to scam Eth from the prospective participants disguised as a form of gas fees, thats why it's better to avoid that kind of trick especially from Telegram bots. It's better to look from the legitimate platform for more chances of good returns.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: July 13, 2020, 03:23:53 PM
Hi, have you seen the recent hype around Dogecoin? It was caused probably by ongoing challenges on TikTok. When you think about it, it is really a great way how to make cryptocurrencies viral among young people.

You can read more about this trend here: https://fortune.com/2020/07/09/tiktok-dogecoin-challenge/
It is hard to believe that TikTok can cause that mega pump, We all know that there are many groups that organized pump and dump sessions like in the Telegram, One of the hottest topics in the Global business articles was TikTok is in big trouble now, India bans it recently while the US is already said that it might be banned TikTok for a national security concern and it's not impossible that other country will follow too. so my opinion is to leave that TikTok issue alone and focus on our daily struggle in the cryptocurrency industry for the better.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: July 12, 2020, 03:31:23 PM
It was only a pure marketing strategy and thats, not a piece of good news either! If you're a noob in the crypto industry you should understand first the fundamentals on how cryptocurrency works, and if you successfully learn about the "do's and don't" in crypto now you are educated about how to avoid like those cheap marketing tricks, Noobs are ordinary target with those kinds of marketing strategies. because noobs are easily trick through their emotions.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if cryptocurrency on: July 12, 2020, 03:18:39 PM
If that time will come back like those 2016-2017 history events and it will happen today, I'm sure many will become a millionaire because many people already know what to do, but that was only fictional because even in my wildest dream I never expected that particular event in the history of the crypto industry to happen again, the cryptocurrency market continues to grow in number and size but only in the minimal pace.
1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Just sharing a website where you can report crypto scams on: July 10, 2020, 03:21:52 PM
And how it will help to solve those scamming problems, by just reporting to that said site? unless that website has a police power or maybe has a legal connection with any government law enforcement agency etc. otherwise it's also useless like others, scammers are changing tactics and even disguised as a legitimate project some has even a foundation just to show that they are legitimate, Like DigitalBits they don't pay its bounty hunters and continue to hold their KYC data for what purpose! and now they even set up a foundation. how ironic.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning <$100,000 worth of the stablecoin were frozen in the wallet> on: July 09, 2020, 03:13:34 PM
I think that was not the whole idea, there must be a specific reason why they block that address and freeze that $100K worth of USDC or maybe there was a compliance issue between the holder of that address and the US legal authorities, Since we are using a US dollar-backed stable coin we must set to comply all of the requirements while holding a US dollar-backed stable coins.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins are never perfectly stable on: July 09, 2020, 02:47:33 PM
FreeStreamer what's up with you and stablecoin? Lol anyway, there is no loss holding stable coins, the lower I've seen them go is 1% loss, around 1$ to 0.99$, that's what you are going to see, stable coins works perfectly ok and thanks to them they makes trading more interesting and easy

I am contributing to this space by educating and sharing information. There is a loss holding a stablecoin. It's called inflation. Currency is not meant to stand still. Currency is meant to circulate. Currency is not a financial asset. It's a medium of exchange. The word currency itself means literally "in circulation"
Yes, I agree with your baseline it makes sense, the stable coin is not just perfectly stable because it was affected also by inflation/fluctuation in the market. if we are going to compare the fiat with the cryptocurrency stable coin I think there is a slight difference between the two currencies. While the cryptocurrency stable coins like the USDT are back up with a stable asset like a fiat (US$) or even the Digital Gold which is back up by 1gram of Gold(Au) and other stable assets to make it more stable. but in the end, it was not perfectly stable.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin tiktok challenge Hype. on: July 08, 2020, 03:30:34 PM
This old coin has never stop surprising us, It was pumping on the Binance market currently at 37%. I remember way back in 2019 the Dogecoin price was also skyrocketed just because Elon Musk has tweeted about Dogecoin as "her favorite cryptocurrency" that was insane for just saying my favorite cryptocurrency and then Dogecoin price was pumping up. I think this time is not Elon Musk anymore but for the millions of TikTok users. let's observe and wait maybe we can ride the on Dogecoin train.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will it take for crypto payment to go mainstream? on: July 08, 2020, 03:10:15 PM
From careful observation, it's becoming clear that it may be hard for crypto to go mainstream without the involvement of the payment sector. Whenever we talk about cryptocurrency payment, we quickly want to adopt Bitcoin. I think we are all getting it wrong here considering Bitcoin's high transaction fee and relatively longer confirmation time compared to other crypto stablecoins or other faster crypto assets.

My personal take, however, is that, for crypto to go mainstream and the impact felt, the focus needs to pivot a bit away from Bitcoin. Yes, it is the first crypto, but at its present state, it definitely cannot fit into every area. This is my opinion, if you have something contrary, I will definitely love to hear them.
I think you are just focusing much on Bitcoin to be adopted to the mainstream, But as you said the hindrances are showing in front of us, like the slow and high transaction fees, etc, But if the Bitcoin Lightning network was push through I think it is much different scenario, Let's go to the larger picture cryptocurrency was already adopted in the mainstream for the cross border payment solution and it's Ripple's XRP in fact in my country it was already used for overseas remittances. the transaction is almost instant with lesser fees, thats why it's not hard to adopt it.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Overview on DeFi - a new hot trend in crypto on: July 07, 2020, 02:23:02 PM
Decentralized Finance or Defi is the talk of the crypto industry in recent months, the hype was real, and because of that trend, many so-called Defi projects are sprouting elsewhere like a mushroom. thats why be careful of dealing with some of them, I'm sure many of those projects are bogus, and just using the Defi popularity to victimized people, scammers are everywhere and always waiting the right time to devour its potential victim. check thoroughly those new Defi projects if it's legit or not before investing with them.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What PayPal's Entry Into Crypto Means For Users on: July 07, 2020, 01:53:25 PM
Well, for me that was a good development for the Crypto Industry because Paypal is big with a large user base estimated at 320 million+, with that sized I believe if it was realized it will bring more users/investors to the crypto industry so we can expect more development in the crypto space, the issue of centralization, fees, etc. are just temporary and it will be fixed soon let's wait and see if this big development will be fruitful.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON 4.0: Boom or Bust? on: July 06, 2020, 04:04:36 PM
Well, I'm not betting on any negativity thats why I will not choose any of the two choices wethers its "Boom or Bust", But honestly speaking because of recent problems on Ethereum Network like surging gas fees to slow transaction, etc. I might choose Tron as a possible contender for the tag as Ethereum killer although that it's not possible at this time since Ethereum 2.0 is not yet completed so let's wait and see if Tron 4.0 is successful or not only time can tell.
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COMP and pump and dump? on: July 06, 2020, 03:48:27 PM
I believe that there was no exception, just like any other cryptocurrencies in the market that has widely influenced by hype, COMP token price is destined to dip slowly, thats why we can expect the (COMP) token price to drop sooner or later. Based on the COMP token trading price today, It was traded at $190 to $178 and it's noticeable that it's almost half from its all-time high price at $381.89 way back on June 21, 2020, the unprecedented rise of COMP token price in a short period, is not normal thats why it was subjected for correction. just watch!
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is very faithful on: July 05, 2020, 03:34:21 PM
Well, i don't know what we would feel but i think the blockchain space is a faithful one, especially when it comes to bounty hunting. There are jubilant scenes in mtcn group regarding the recent upturn in price of token; with hunters getting reward for a work done since 2018. For some who believed in the project, it was a huge cashout.

It seems despite the gloom and appearance of scam projects, Bounty can be worth it if we join the right project
Blockchain is designed, to be honest, and transparent, only those greedy people were using the revolutionary technology to gain monetary benefits for themselves and speaking of the Multiven bounty campaign honestly I regret about my MTCN reward because I was sold it for just 0.013 cents in 2019. I never expected to pump and reach the MTCN price up to 0.60 cents but it's too late already and it will never be reversed again so we must move on.
