1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really have enough 'cryptocurrencies'? on: June 08, 2017, 03:08:53 PM
I think the OP here meant how many separate distinct unrelated coins.
Hinting that the total supply of some of them may not be enough.
Well there is a reason the FED reserve uses Quantitative Easing etc.

Let me put it this way guys.
Many of you are advocating that we all have as many Internets as possible.
Problem is they are not connected to each other.
So what then ?

Then it's not an internet.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet

Quote
The Internet is the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link devices worldwide.

So the same exact thing is playing out here in crypto..
It is of no use at all losing an adopter of the Internet to Lan users here.

I am the one who said this.
As usual I am the smart one.
I had to say this in 2013 and ever since over & over.
And it's sad because it common fucking sense guys.
And really i am not very smart ..it's just in crypto i look like a genius.
Because the crowd overall is really THAT stupid & greedy.

So..
Having more & more "coins" will simply make the adoption problem worse & worse.. duh right ?
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia to use Ethereum blockchain / technology on: June 08, 2017, 02:57:17 PM
Interesting article https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-06-06/putin-eyes-bitcoin-rival-to-spur-economic-growth-beyond-oil-gas

Few Quotes:

Russian president met with founder of cryptocurrency Ethereum

Country may use Ethereum to create national virtual currency

So yeah. Please do listen to internet trolls that tell you ethereum is a scam. They definitely know better than everyone else, because they care so much about you, they don't want you to lose money. Or maybe because they want you NOT to make money, since less early adopters means more $ later for each early adopter.
Ehtereum is not a scam coins. Many people propagate this story of ethereum being a scam project are doing it because of hate and trying to brainwashing people not to buying coins that will change their lives on future. As for me I will keep promote ethereum.

Wrong.

There is plenty of tangible reasons for a variety of different people to complain.
But since the ICO coin Ethereum is the favorite for profiteers because it's pumped..
You all line up to cry "FUD".
You may not agree with the reasons given but don't say they were not provided.

Crypto is full of greedy brats who are willing to defend any coin project.. so they can profit from it.

I myself have posted a huge ton of things that should be a red-flag for you all.
And you should listen because i was here years before you got here crying FUD for bucks $$$

This reply is not intended to recap those reasons either.
Because you all DELIBERATELY ignore them.. so why bother ?
You are greedy corrupt losers who have no interest in hearing anything bad about your bags your clutching.
All you want is to hype up your coin to lure in more victims so you can dump on them for a handsome profit.
..crying FUD every step of the way.

If you are willing to listen to the criticism then it's right there for you in front of your nose.
If your not then you are a fool and will most certainly get burned.
Because it proof you are stupid and / or deceitful.

..good luck with that yappy lippy greedy noobs

PS:
Nice English buddy.
What part of India are you from kid ?
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SCAM] BLOCKNET: The Metcalf/Prom Alt-Coin Cartel Scam Exposed on: June 08, 2017, 02:46:08 PM
There is so much fud against blocknet. It looks like paid champaign of Blocknets competitors.I think,it happens because blocknet will wlow up the market, with their owerhyped tokens with no use in real life

Can we get an English translation please ?
And NOOB who just got here crying FUD for bucks ? ..what the fuck do you know about it ?
Me ? I had the dev demand he was suing me for defamation.
I am still waiting for the lawsuit too.  Grin
Do it you little punk bitch hahahhaha

Cry FUD moar little greedy brats.. see if i care.
YOU are the one who will end up broke later.. not me.  Cool

Did i or did i not just point out how the people supporting it were complaining on the ANN topic ?
Wasn't me doing it because if i say anything he deletes my comment with mass censorship.

1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how are alt coins decentralised? on: June 08, 2017, 02:37:19 PM
It's simple, their not.

It's more about a degree of this attribute.
On a scale of 1 to 10 how decentralized is it.

For example Ripple vs Bitcoin.. obvious right ?

A good way to think of it is.. someone has the keys to the Github account right ?
Then.. be aware the owner of Cryptsy claimed his exchange was hacked and everyone lost their coins via a malicious Github code update.

Also..
An ICO by design in itself is the antithesis of decentralization.
When i envision how ICO's got started i always thought of it this way..
I sit at home and "make" some coin by downloading Github.zip
Then, i run the coin at home by myself and premine how ever many coins i want. (as total supply)
Next step is send it to a centralized exchange who sells my shitcoins.
Now tell me.. what part of that is decentralized ?

NONE OF IT

AKA: ICO = scam.

Oh and tacking on the ability to mine the coin later is irrelevant.
It's like robbing a bank then saying.. well, i'm planning to give some to charity.
So fucking what !

Bad is bad guys.

@OP
You are almost 4 years too late for the Ethereum ICO.
Nor did you stand much of a chance either.. some whale was buying them up ASAP as it launched in 100 BTC blocks over & over.
Hmmm... i wonder who would have done that ?

Ohh sorry i think you meant ICO inception ?

1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really have enough 'cryptocurrencies'? on: June 08, 2017, 05:44:23 AM
Did you really not get what i just said ?
I am not sure i could put it any other way....... again.
As i have been saying EVERY DAY since that story came out (and on that very story via Disqus)

A currency works 1 way.
That is all there is to it.
Otherwise it's not a currency.

And i will tell ya another thing.. AGAIN.
If the coin is not adopted then it's not a currency.
A currency has to be adopted and used as such to be one.

You don't need to be a rocket doctor to get this either.. it's pretty simple stuff guys.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most people consider most ICOs or Altcoins as scams on: June 08, 2017, 05:33:04 AM
Because they are only fancy words. Ideas.
Nothing has yet been achieved. People are buying like crazy thinking one of the tens or hundreds will hit the jackpot. Or that they will be faster at dumping than the next one, when the whales start dumping.
They are yet to deliver, but it's not that bad to invest a couple of eth, just in case.

You guys are all participating in a new age digital variant of the classic pyramid scheme.
..a greater fools game.

Reality is no ICO ever accomplished anything.
And none will because of what i said earlier (how they work)

Your greatest ICO achievement is a scammy ass app's platform that is not used.. nor even a currency.
Called Ethereum.
Do people place the value of it so high because the fuel tokens are are such high demand for the intended purpose ?
Or..
Are the ICO scam coin simply inflated in value to epic proportions because idiots are flooding in here buying them hoping it gets pumped again ?

If you don't see what i see then i think you are broke already.
Because it tells me you are 100% oblivious to the real dangers of the charade being played out here.

LOLZ:
ETH will replace Bitcoin the Investards said lots before.
So.. buy Bitcoin then use that to BUY Ethereum coins.
See a problem with that procedure ?

uuuugh jeez man.

The point to a currency is usage.
So how the fucking hell is a currency even going to work if each person has the own coin ?

FAIL.

That is not how currencies work guys.. this shit failed bad.. game over.

I find it pretty damn funny there is 4,500 users when i recently looked at night here..

1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia to use Ethereum blockchain / technology on: June 08, 2017, 04:48:05 AM
Why the hell shall they use Ethereum? They could implement a national blockchain technology which could be much better than Vitalik's, can't they? I don't understand this kind of speculations in the market.

What is the purpose ? a currency ?
Well ETH is not a currency.

Why would they adopt it unless they wanted DAPPS ?
App's on a block-chain is going to do what now ?

If they wanted to do something crypto coin related wouldn't it make more sense to use a pure currency and not an ICO scheme coin system with vast amounts of bloated pointless un-needed insecure code ?

Wouldn't the smaller currency be a better option ?
Vs Butters Vitalibloat scheme system.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much money is needed to manipulate scamcoin prices? on: June 08, 2017, 04:41:24 AM
Depends on the coin of course and maybe the exchange used etc too.
The real question would be is there people here that *CAN* do that ?

Well.. think of it this way.
The shitheads from Ethereum handed each other free money before their ICO.
A huge list of "Staff" got paid well !

Following me ?
Ok now go look at what each ETH ICO SCAM COIN is worth now.

Fun Fact:
Risto from Monero infamy said he forgot he had 2.2 million dollars worth of coins on Polo.
He said his account was not verified so it was pretty much stuck there because of withdrawal limits.
And he said he didn't care.

So.. did you make 50 cents on scam coins today ? Congrats you are the winner !
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt-coins for file storage? on: June 08, 2017, 04:35:51 AM

1336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What could be the assumption if scientist cant explain some issues on: June 07, 2017, 12:29:55 PM
Science is assumptions most of the time.. deductive reasoning.
Trying to tease out a conclusion with a degree of certainty.

...
Science is all about guessing things with a reasonably high degree of certainty.
It has little to do with facts.

Whether true or not, that sidesteps the common definition of science as opposed to art.

Science is supposed to be based on reason that is indisputale. 1+1 = 2 is science.

If you turn one of the 1s sideways to make a T and you say 1+1 = T then that is art.

The problem is that when people are at the edges of art and science they confuse the two. Jung wrote in detail about that. Search the word "function" at http://www.psychceu.com/jung/sharplexicon.html and eventually you will find his understanding of that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibn_al-Haytham#Scientific_method

A man from Iraq literally wrote the book on science.
He laid out the formula and it is the method used in all cultures in all of history until today.

Science is in fact what i just said.
It is the act of examination.. not about the conclusions.
A key problem we struggle with as seen in my earlier examples is we just don't have enough information to draw a conclusive theory out of things.

We don't possess the ability to travel to the center of the galaxy and throw a rock into the black hole to make sure it's actually there.. so.. we guess.

People always assume i am a black & white person but i have led my life entirely in the grey area.
Every aspect of my life revolves around degrees of certainty.

For example i may break up with my girl-friend because i have proof she cheated.
But in actuality i may have been duped into thinking that for another reason such as she WANTED me to think that and simply wanted me to dump her.
Unless i seen the guys dick stuffed inside her i have to assume things.
Then it goes right back to a degree of certainty as usual..

But yeah AL Hazen seen the formula and then taught it to his students.
And it just so happens to be the exact formula used by every scientist since.
Deductive reasoning.

Real facts are elusive and rare.
It is what it is.

Space travel for example is nothing but guess work and we find that it works then assume it's true.
Then later we find out our theories were wrong and we got lucky.
Which is a key point to Hazen's work.. re-examination.
All facts should be re-examined.. because they *may be wrong.
Anyone who does not second guess them self and their so called facts are idiots he said.

Quote
The duty of the man who investigates the writings of scientists, if learning the truth is his goal, is to make himself an enemy of all that he reads, and ... attack it from every side. He should also suspect himself as he performs his critical examination of it, so that he may avoid falling into either prejudice or leniency.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most people consider most ICOs or Altcoins as scams on: June 07, 2017, 12:06:30 PM
I was not being "Self righteousness"
I was talking all along about the tech behind an ICO.
I specifically pointed out yet again how the initial distribution is scammy.

To me it is about the code and nothing else.. every other aspect to it is a secondary matter.
The fact you guys are not smart enough to grasp that screams stupidity to me.

All i hear is scammers crying FUD because i threatened their ROI's income.
You are not offering an intelligent rebuttal to my technical assertions.

At no point did i claim ICO's are scammy because they hurt my feelings.
Noooope.. on the contrary i typed out in bold text it's because of HOW THEY FUNCTION BY DESIGN.

I keep pointing your horse heads at the water and all you babies do is pull away mumbling about ROI's and FUD.

And i can safely speak for planet earth here profiteers & investards..
Earth gove 0 fucks about your ICO's.
Bitcoin impressed the shit out of people.
ICO's do not.

Earth adopted Bitcoin.
Earth is not going to buy your ICO bags.

An ICO is a scammy downgrade from Bitcoin.
ALL ICO's !
The distribution model is scammy and will never be better than a mined launched coin such as BTC.
The code to an ICO and how it works is a down grade from Bitcoin etc.

I fucking dare any of you to say the ICO was an improvement over BTC's initial distribution model.
Seriously do it little greedy shitheads.
Because if you can prove that case then yeah you can then convince earth to come running here to buy your fucking gay ass shitty scammy ICO bags.

..otherwise they ain't comin' investards so wake the fuck up already.

"Self righteousness"
I think not NOOB ACCOUNT.
It's about greedy pieces of shit writing SCAM CODE.. then compiling it and sending it to POLO for ROI's.

If their life revolved around acting like a 5 year old screaming nonsense then uhh yeah.

I had watched it from start to finish and when i went there last month i was appalled.
It had turned into a fucking pathetic farce.
Far too many screaming idiots posting complete gibberish.

I take it they shut it down ?

Do i need to point out that that is not what it's for ?

1340  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What could be the assumption if scientist cant explain some issues on: June 07, 2017, 03:17:21 AM
Science is assumptions most of the time.. deductive reasoning.
Trying to tease out a conclusion with a degree of certainty.

Two prime examples..

The claim we have a super-massive black hole at the center of our Galaxy.
This was proven with time lapse images basically.
We got shots over a long period of time that showed us objects moving in ways that could really only be explained by the gravitational forces of a large black hole.

But.. the reality is we never did go there and see it and get 100% proof it exists.
It's difficult to even see it in most ways because it's obscured by all the dust & gas clouds in the galaxy too.
And yet we proclaim it exists as "fact".
There could be another reason for the behavior we witnessed.

My second example is how we found another large planet.. planet X was supposedly found.
The scientific community mostly scoffed at the assertion.
But i noticed in the comments online on the news stories i was the only one to point out how we effectively used the same method of detection on the super massive black holes.
So i said to them all if we used it to "prove" they exist then why is this same method of testing *NOT* proof for planet x then ?
I never got a rebuttal from the legions of mouthy scientist / experts.
They were all far too interested in the classification of Pluto.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
If that same testing method PROVES the black hole exists then yeah.. we have another planet.

Both though are simply a guess.
Neither have been seen with our own eyes and proven as factual.
We simply deduce they are there.

Another example at the root of almost all space science is the standard candle theory.
yet another "guess"
The other 2 methods of measuring distance are almost always impractical to be used.
Such as parallax.. covering one eye then the other then measuring the distance between them etc.
Or star wobble measurements.. which is more convincing but still just an elementary deduction.
..guessing in other words.

Science is all about guessing things with a reasonably high degree of certainty.
It has little to do with facts.
