1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Think Is a Fair Investment Profit? on: January 03, 2017, 01:44:33 PM
It is upto you that what type of investment you wanted to go like short term or long term, their are altcoin which are good for trading for short and long time, but not for day trader. some are like ICN, GNT AND VSL this are some coins which i am trading for last some months and are giving me around 20 to 30% on each trading. Other then that in long term also they are good.

Other investment which are offering of giving you high returns i dont believe them as they dont have full proof
investment plan and they are mostly scam. So for me where i get 10 to 20% return is good and trading is much better for me as i am controlling my investment so risk is mine and i cannot blame others for it.
1322  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need a wallet recommendation ??? on: January 03, 2017, 12:31:16 PM
In the above comments Shorena have explained you clearly about most of the wallets but even then i can give my own experience of using electrum desktop wallet which is more secure and light weight, in this the most important thing to keep secure is the passphrase key , because with this key you can regenerate you old wallet anywhere and anytime even if you lose the wallet.dat file. As with this passphrase key you can download the software from anywhere and go for backup key and insert the passphrase and your old wallet is regenerated with all the coins stored in it with addresss safely.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM 🌟🔴🌟🔴 BRING GREAT IDEAS TO LIFE 🌟🔴🌟🔴 ICO LIVE on: January 03, 2017, 12:26:32 PM

I have done all what you have said but my new or old wallet is not syncing and even the estimate total block are showing as N/A.

I am feeling that the developer is not satisfied with the progress and now the coin is going to die or scam.
What operating system is your computer running? If its windows and you have windows defender or microsoft essentials  running you can either turn it off temporary and run your wallet or add icobid folder has trusted folder it should work, but just edit the necessary files has Pioneer88 advised  .

I am running windows XP SP3 32 bit, and i was using the wallet smoothly before until the developer have not introduced the new wallet, but from yesterday even the new wallet is not working and their are no nodes connecting to the wallet. That is why i am thinking that their is some problem with ICOBID project.

I am with ICOBID from starting and even i have done translation work and twitter campaign for ICOBID in first phase. and now developer is not responding to my query's
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Coins on: January 03, 2017, 12:18:56 PM
Hi, i am new here, soo if someone already post something similar, please redirect me, thanks!

I was thinking ... what should happen to the coins that have not suffered a transaction for a long time, especially the accounts lost or refuted by the users? Maybe you should consider making a new mining of these coins with each halving or given time frame, is that possible? The central bank's usually replace the coins from time to time, because usually some are destroyed over time ... maybe there will be some similar mechanism for bitcoin. There exist`s?

Thanks Wink

This comes up every so often, but who says how long is too long?

Perhaps Hal Finney will be unfrozen one hundred years in the future (see https://www.wired.com/2014/08/hal-finney/ and http://www.alcor.org/blog/hal-finney-becomes-alcors-128th-patient/ ) and he'll want to unfreeze some coins that he has in a brain wallet to pay to help acclimate himself to a world he didn't know.  Or to pay for food.  Or his care.  Or his descendants.

What gives anyone the right to decided that X number of years is "too long to save"? Why would anyone think it is okay to steal from someone else who has saved their coins whether they are Hal or someone else?  Stealing is wrong and using the "central banks" do it argument is a good reason not to do it given the problems they have caused over the last 100 years.

Something like this just penalizes people who save and makes people move their coins, subjecting them to risk.

Doing this would create an alt-coin because there are many people who are opposed to things like this.

Exactly. No one has the right to make that decision. Or if we want to get philosophical... everyone has the right to make that decision. Tongue

Their is a old thread in regards to the OP question but still the answer is no one can differentiate the dead accounts , lost accounts and long term accounts, as some of the users have saved the bitcoins in wallet for very long term, who are not in need of bitcoins to sell they just wanted to save it like peoples do in goal for long long very long term, when they are expecting the price of bitcoin going above 10000 price.

So this idea is fail and nothing can be done to the lost accounts bitcoins.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: JUST HIT 8888 JACKPOT NUMBER! SEE SCREENSHOT on: January 03, 2017, 07:52:09 AM
Congratulation and very sad to know that it was hit in rolling and you have not added the jackpot, but it was obvious as for hitting jackpot also you have to give some bids and i dont think that ever if anyone have added the bids and have hit the jackpot.

And now forget to think of that you are going to hit the jackpot once again and dont waste your coins.

Is anyone having some issue with wallet sync? I've been busy these past few days and wasn't able to check my wallet, and now it's out of sync. I did all the previous steps just like before, deleting the files, adding active nodes to icobid.conf, but still the same.  Huh I'm downloading the wallet qt again and try later if it will work.

EDIT: It's synchronizing with network now. Deleting all the files, download qt file & run, add wallet.dat worked even without icobid.conf file

Are you sure, ICB windows wallet without icobid.conf files can work fine?
What version are you using?  Shocked

Yes, my wallet synced well without icobid.conf file. I'm using the new version by the way. As far as I remember there is also a user who are using his wallet without the file, so I backread and check it out. I snipped and quoted crunck's comment about his wallet and Pioneer88's for the new wallet download link as reference.

~snipped
The new Windows wallet release has two hard coded nodes added that were given to me by the OP

My wallet runs without a .conf ( new release )
~snipped
1. Download new wallet:

This is official wallet. Please follow the guide below if your wallet is unsynced.

I am feeling that the developer is not satisfied with the progress and now the coin is going to die or scam.
1327  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: KeepKey 30 BTC reward for capturing the hacker ! on: January 03, 2017, 07:09:15 AM
The phrase "Paper Wallet" is really not the best. Because the Private Key can be stored in a text file, print out, picture of QR code in your phone, etc. I like to use paper wallet generators and other open source wallet generators to get my private keys, then import.

The lesson we should all have learned by now is.... ALWAYS have the private keys to your wallets stored securely some where. Import the private keys into your wallets, whether online or hardware, whenever you want to spend. And only send enough that you need, and never store online for extended periods of time.

These hardware wallets are basically mini computers that only connect to the internet when you send/receive. The problem is still the same... you can lose your passwords, lose the hardware wallet, or someone can steal your wallet and your passwords.

The same you can say with paper wallet, what if you lost it or misplaced it or it got steal , then you will be facing the same problem. So i think no wallet gives you permanent solutions, it is upto the user to keep secure and if anything is happening then it is the users faulty no the hardware or desktop or paper wallet fault. Everyone have their own security options. Even if you are using paper wallet then it is clear that you still wanted to use the fiat currency format in bitcoin also.
1328  Economy / Services / Re: Buy it from $1000 to $580! We will make your bitcoins from ZERO to HERO! on: January 03, 2017, 07:04:13 AM
Superb nice way of spam, all of the users who have signed this app are only newbie who have just started their account and posting here on this thread,

This shows how clearly this app is going to cheat the real users.

WARNING: Be Carefull when opening your account in this app or site as i am smelling some fishy in this offer.
1329  Economy / Gambling / Re: REGISTER FOR FREE AND EARN 70 000 SATOSHI! on: January 03, 2017, 06:41:59 AM
PLEASE, I want to know if this offer is still open, thanks..

I dont think that the offer is still open, but even now the site is hanging and the game after everyone enrolled it is not starting and the OP is not responding to any query about the site.

I really liked the game and the concept , but the way OP is maintaining it is not good for the site development.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China’s $50,000 Quota Matter For Bitcoin After Jan.1? on: January 03, 2017, 06:37:41 AM
It depends on how these capital controls would influence Bitcoin transactions too. If they regulate fiat to Bitcoin and limit the amounts that can be bought and sold on exchanges, then Bitcoin would not benefit from these changes in the policy. This will in turn force people to buy bitcoins via Black markets and not through regulated exchanges. So it all depends on how the capital controls would be enforced. ^hmmmmm^

Ya it is true, because this control is just like they are having control over fiat currency transaction in bank, so i think now China government want to control bitcoin just like bank and this is not good for Bitcoin users. It will really make users to use bitcoin now unofficially to have high transaction.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: January 02, 2017, 08:24:27 PM
I wash that wasn't true, but yes, a lot of young people gamble, and they get addicted to gamble way more often than older people. for example, few months ago many young people gambled using csgo skins, and they even stole their parents credit cards just that they could buy these skins and gamble even more, i am sure that there are young gamblers with bitcoins too, just i think they hide their age
Well, there is actually no way in which we can stop such low aged gamblers because there would always be ways to avoid such things and if the site starts to ask IDs from gamblers then really the freedom in gambling would be lost.

Ya it is true the main reason of success of bitcoin gambling sites are due to no identification process and any one gambling only bitcoin wallet address is needed. But it is not good as in small age they get in gambling and ruin their life.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚒ Syscoin - 2.1.1 Released! Decentralized Marketplace & Multisig Platform! on: January 02, 2017, 07:04:11 PM
I think we are in a controlled panic mode since BTC seems to be poised to go ATH. 800sats looks to be a support, a few times broken but the price comes back to this levels which looks good. I do not mind the price as it is now. And of course I am buying more Wink

I have just came across this new coin and after seeing the full whitepaper i am feeling that very soon we will see a price rise as it is a long term worthy coin.
1333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: History charts on: January 02, 2017, 04:42:00 PM
This thread is very good as i am now able to get the full details of Bitcoin price from the starting of it. It has really helped me a lot to prepare my trading chart.
1334  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not spam this board with pointless replies; waste your time on faucets on: January 02, 2017, 04:39:43 PM
Please show me faucet which pays same rate as signature campaigns. Faucets are paying dust if compare to signature campaigns. People need to make ~hundred claims from faucet or even more, to get same amount that they would get for only one post. What's is easier?
In my opinion, quality of posts in Micro Earnings section isn't very bad, especially if compare to Gambling section posts.

What you are telling about faucet is true that is why after coming to this forum users have stopped using faucets only who are having high referrals users are using the faucets.

about the post in gambling section is as their are some signature campaign who are having their terms and conditions of having to post 50% or above in gambling section. Due to this their is going lot of spam.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 02, 2017, 04:11:13 PM
The match between Middlesbrough and Leicester City is live and in the half time both teams are yet to score a goal and i dont think there will be many goals in this match either as Middlesbrough have lost four of their last five matches this season while Leicester City has a really poor away record this time around and so i do expect a draw.

82 min and still the score is 0-0 taking risk and betting on over 0.5 goal, i expect that middlesbrough should take home ground benefit and atleast make a goal
I put draw at the beginning of the match because I thought it would end in atleast a 1-1 draw. The odds were there as the play was not the entire match.
If I knew neither would of stepped up as they should have then I would of put 0-0 draw instead and stepped away with a good pay day. Grin
I think the odds were high at 18 at the time I put the draw bet.

Expecting alot of goals to be scored from the remaining games this evening as that was only the first game of today that completed and 5 more to go! Grin

Manchester for over 4.5 goals and Liver pool for over 3.5 taking away with a win today are my predictions.
Let's hope for more eventful game play today! We all need the excitement for sure! Wink

you are wrong today i think their will be very less goal and now in man city they got 1 red card so this game is also dead, and other games are also going with out goal in first half.
1336  Economy / Speculation / Re: What has affected the price of Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2017, 04:06:10 PM
One of the important factors was the economic changes in China and India. Don't forget that more than a quarter of world's population is in China and India. A big chunk of that turned into a better form of currency, Bitcoins.

That's true and acceptable. Bitcoin got fame due to the increased miners in China. On this basis bitcoin has some relation with the China's economic situation. Also now India is playing a big role after demonetization, which grabbed the attention of lots of common people towards bitcoin in a short period. This too an factor for the ongoing price peak.

Even in India Bitcoin is acceptable and their is no law against it that is also the main reason of Bitcoin price is raising as in Asian country Bitcoin is moving fast and the growth is very high. Asian users are taking benefit of online income as in conversion to fiat currency the price is very good and low economy users are getting more benefited so it is getting famous very fast

Everton vs Southampton - 0-0 half time go for over 1.5 goal as everton have scored goal in home ground

West Brom vs Hull City - 0-1 half time go for over 1.5 goal and both team to score

1338  Economy / Gambling / Re: REGISTER FOR FREE AND EARN 70 000 SATOSHI! on: January 02, 2017, 03:54:05 PM
We already explained to you that you cannot withdraw your entire balance because you have to pay the withdrawal fee.
So, 0,0085 - 0,001 make 0,0075.
In order for the withdrawal to be carried out, you have to type 0,0075 in the "amount" section.

We are giving 70k satoshi to allow users to get to know the site and to try it out, one thing you haven't done, one thing no one of the users you brought into 10table have done. This means that these users you are gathering randomly for a few coins are not interested in the game.

We changed the promotion conditions because, as we already told you, we are not a bitcoin faucet, deal with it.
that mean if from this promotions there is a person able to makes 0.002 btc from 0.0007 btc then he will only got 0.001 btc and as far as i know that usually for gambling sites have only 0.0001-0.0002 btc for withdrawal fees and you site have 0.001 btc for the fees and May I know why because those amount was pretty high to me

That mean that you finally did not get anything for free, because withdrawal fee is higher than the bonus they give. And now you have as well to deposit = this offer is just to draw customers in, without anything to gain!

What you are telling is correct, OP is telling that their is no house edge but through withdrawl fees he is charging more then house edge, i dont think that it will be good for this site, but still their is no one able to withdraw it from this site even after paying the require withdraw fees
1339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will hit 2000 USD feb 17 on: January 02, 2017, 02:29:35 PM
Happy 2017 to all
Due to the current huge daily increase of bitcoin do you believe\think that one bitcoin equal 2000 USD by the end of this month - Feb2017 ?
Thanks

2000$ by the end of Feb 2017 , i think after seeing last few months price increase in bitcoin made you think about it, but i dont think it will go the max if we can see is 1250 to 1400 usd because next week we can see some selling pressure as now everyone will try to cash out the profit and little bit of price going down then the all weak hands will just dump it and that may give you crash in the bitcoin price.

Now be ready for any type of Roller Coaster (UP OR DOWN either side)
