MACD heading down, RSI is too high, MA and EMA not looking good.

This thing is going nowhere but dooown.

yes that huge price pump is over for now but price now is stable, and i am sure that price soon will rise again because of halving that hapend 2 weeks ago

If there is  no block size increase, the bitcoin price will stay around here or drop slowly, Ethereum or other coins will replace it.

There is a possibility that the bitcoin will be replaced by other coins such as the Ethereum or litecoin.
1322  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: July 21, 2016, 11:05:31 AM
It's very hard to predict, but it's probably less than 10%.

But adaption is tricky because things can go viral and suddenly spread really fast. So it might amaze us.

Yeah, it's very hard to predict, maybe around 5-10% or even more, bit If Celebrity start using bitcoins on 2020, i'm sure some people will follow their celebrity and will increase up to 20%.

Yes,its very hard to predict but I voted 10% on world population start using Bitcoin in 2020. I agree maybe it would rise to 20% if a famous celebrity would use it I guess and then it goes viral and percentage grows drastically.
I don't count on the celebrities, what I like most is when the big companies will be accepting bitcoins, with that bitcoins will be so famous because people will be using it to buy stuffs online.

That is right. When the Amazon accept the bitcoin, it will be a huge boost. That will increase the price by 10%.
1323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: July 06, 2016, 03:29:19 PM
The price rise is not really over its just a matter of time before it will gain more worth soon or later this year it will happen.
We also still got the halving by the way.

The price rise in the short term is over. The bitcoin price will stay around the current for the next few weeks.

I think the price could rise in the next few months after a few months of good consoidation. It could rise 60%.

I think so. The price now is very similar to the price 4 months ago, it is have a consolidation period now.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: June 22, 2016, 10:05:31 AM
The OP is from 2 Dec last year. If a new thread is created, I think the tile will be "price rise just started".

But the most recent price rise is over. I think the price of bitcoin is consolidating at the moment, maybe for some time.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: June 08, 2016, 07:52:14 AM
All those are probably impossible to happen (at least not for 2020) :
Quote
40-50
 50-60
 60-70
 70-80
 80-90
 90-100

I personally don't think it's possible to decide now , we should at least see what's going to happen after the halving block reward and how successful OpenBazaar would be .

I think so. besides, we need to know what percentage people is owning bitcoin now. maybe it's possible to count it by formulas.

There might be 500,000 own or use bitcoin. If there are more than 5 million people use it, the price will be 100 times higher.

If there are more than 5 million people own or use the bitcoin, there will be fewer than 4 bitcoin each for them.

Today's price has dropped below $440, that is the first time for a few months. So what the reason for the drop?

I think it is not a big problem for the price drop. The price is already $450 now. It is just normal market action.
1327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: May 19, 2016, 07:01:58 PM
I think we can say that we will see the high price rise after the halving this year. It will be the greatest
time for bitcoins lovers which we are all waiting for.

Yes, price is rising steadily now and it will be faster near Halving when we shall be hoping to make history by crossing $1000.
The price rise is not over and it will start soon also because the halving is also coming so that would be perfect for the people who is already waiting for a nice price increase.
The only thing that you have to do is that you must know that you must have patience for it and that it can be more worth after some 2 years.

The price has not risen for some time, it is quite stable recently. But I am patient. I will wait for the rise.
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going back to $400 on: May 06, 2016, 08:39:11 PM
We already see the price is increased but there's strong possibility that the price will be back to 400 value because block halving is too far.. and i think 3 months more before we will see that the price will continues increasing..

Well that's true, there is a possibility if the price won't be as lively as it is this days, price would drop $10 or up and it will bounce back more than $10 quickly...If that price movement is gone, then I think we will slow down again and probably back to $400..

I think the $400 is the medium bottom. If the price does not touch $400 in the next few months, $400 is the bottom.
1329  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going back to $400 on: April 21, 2016, 11:23:30 AM
Price right now is in critical and i think sooner the price will be back again below 370.. this is good news for traders. that they can buy again bitcoin for the low price..

I don't see the price going back to 370. There is much buy support and what you can see is the price came back very quickly after meeting up with the dump yesterday.
For now 400 is very stable.

400 is a solid point. It seems to me the price will float around this price for some time. I really hope it goes up to maybe 450 but
here at 400 it's a good and stable price.

$400 is a bottom being established. If it is not visited in the next few months, I think the price will rise to $500.
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: March 31, 2016, 01:09:01 PM
How many people use Bitcoin now? This 2014 article makes an estimate (click the link for details) and concludes: Just 500,000 people own bitcoins.

Some math:
Maximum of 5 transactions per second
400,000 per day
150 million per year
600 million until 2020

If the average user makes 10 transactions, only 1% can own bitcoin in 2020.

The block size can be increased so that more transactions can happen in one block. We will have more users.
1331  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going back to $400 on: March 06, 2016, 05:28:03 PM
yes after all these dumps, it's time for bitcoin to rise again, 400$ would be great start but  i hope to see 500$ at the end of 2016, next year even higher

The price dropped to below $400 recently. So it will start to rise after the drop. $400 will be a start again and again.
1332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: February 23, 2016, 08:06:31 PM
The price rise is not over at all, its just a point the bitcoin has reached, we just need to wait for the halving.
If the halving has been done the price will jump again to high numbers and the price rise will start again.
Do you think the value of bitcoin still rise after halving ends?
i think halving is started that's why we are experiencing that the value of bitcoin's is 430 plus..

It may drop after halving to find a new norm after the hype, but there never is a norm with btc so it is hard to tell.

Anything is possible. If all of us are expecting a pump before halving. Then the pump will not happen.
1333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: February 10, 2016, 01:53:22 PM
I think just the opposite.

I just think it is going to start slowly.

But we can not predict what will happen.

The price will stay around $400 for a few months. Then it will rise slowly. It will rise very fast just before halving.

1335  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying bitcoins outside of an exchange on: January 22, 2016, 11:58:46 AM
Can you buy bitcoins somewhere else than an exchange?

I read on the forums people saying they don't use exchanges, but where else can you buy them?

Yes , we have a currency exchange section on the forums & you can trade with other users .
Just make sure to not use reversible payment methods like Paypal with low trust and low ranked users .

If he just wants to buy bitcoin, he can use paypal.
