2020 is still far, we still have few years before it came in, but anyway, I think the impact of the price this years and the halving prior to 2020 would really affect the number of users when 2020 came in, IMO, 10 - 20% would be the best when there is no growth in price and has no improvements implemented, but it would be higher if growth in price and improvements was also done...
10% in 2020 would be something around 700 million users!!!!! We are having around 2-3 million users now! I think this is very unlikely to happen. Something between 20-50 million users would be a great improvement imo.

With the continues support of the community we can attract number of users in the future, it all start with us the early adopters because if the users increase the price will soar and we are benefited if that will happen.

50% is a conservative estimate for me, with the on going hype of halving today people are a bit curious of what really bitcoin is, they will invest to earn after the halving as it is expected that the price will increase substantially, with the adoption from difference sectors of the business it can be possible and may even exceed my estimate.

I think we are just 30% percent but i hope in the future bitcoin will be popular in our country that we can advertise it in television. Maybe in the near future will be in 40% if some banks accept bitcoins..
30% is way to much of the population to use Bitcoins, that is not going to happen. I believe that maybe 5% of the people will use Bitcoins. You have to count out so much people like those who do not have internet.

Although we like that much of a users for the year 2020 as it would bring good benefits to the community especially on our investment but with the rate that is happening now, we cannot expect that to happen. We need some big news like adoption of the big merchandise only, like amazon and other popular sites to boost the popularity of bitcoins.

I can't really see it going above the 0-2 in the next 4 years but I could be wrong, think it will be a few more years before we reach enough people to be hitting 2% of the entire world's population which currently stands at just above 7.4 billion http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/It will less then 5% I believe because there are just so many people on this earth even 5% of 7 billion is a big group of people. IO do not think that so many people will make use of Bitcoin.

All those are probably impossible to happen (at least not for 2020) : 40-50 50-60 60-70 70-80 80-90 90-100
I personally don't think it's possible to decide now , we should at least see what's going to happen after the halving block reward and how successful OpenBazaar would be . I think so. besides, we need to know what percentage people is owning bitcoin now. maybe it's possible to count it by formulas.

As many people become aware of the opportunity of borderless trading we are surely going to see growth in the number of people using bitcoin and hence a place for them to buy and sell their bitcoin is needed. But we have a problem when it comes to developing countries. A recent survey by mobile platform Jana interviewed 1,800 people across 9 emerging markets. This included respondents from Africa’s leading market, South Africa. Of the survey group, only 13% had heard of Bitcoin. This represented the lowest awareness of any emerging market.

Well, this could just be a hypothetical question because it is not impossible to really measure how many people use Bitcoin. Today and it future. This is a part of the nature of Bitcoin. For that reason, I could say 20% but nobody will ever be able to confirm or disprove it. Beside this, I guess that 2020 is still to early for mass Bitcoin adoption. I would guess less than 1%.

This is part of speculation I think, he just want to know what people think when it comes to this question.

Actually there is an important number of people in the world that don't have access to the technologies required to join this economy, and perhaps in that year there will be many others interesting alternatives in altcoins. But 5% seems a good percentage.

2020 is still far and It is hard to predict what percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020. If the pace will continue as it is now, I think 2-5% of the population in the world will own bitcoin. But it can be more if there are major updates that will happen or major events that will cause people to use bitcoin.

Depends on how many Bitcoins. There are too many people, good thing Bitcoin can account for hyperinflation.
