Just checked the exhibitors' list.

Exhibitor name: Paypie. Category: Accounting software.

It's a bit of an understatement, isn't it? Smiley

Unless there's a category named Accounting smart contract platform, how you would call it? Just imagine those accountant when they say "wtf is a smart contract?".
We are only in the beginning of this whole crypto-thing, but you already know this Wink
Yep, there are non crypto people there, also this project isnt only for crypto people too.
This project need to be understood by everyone.

A bank on a blockchain is still a bank, a bakery on a blockchain is a transparent bakery but definitely just a bakery, an accounting software on a block chain...... you see where am going with that.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 06, 2017, 04:44:54 PM
Is the minimum cap for the project raised already? Also, will vibeX token holder get some dividends on holding the token for a long term?

Good question! Is there a minimum cap? And if yes, is it already achieved?

About the second question I think there was nothing stated in the whitepaper about a dividend for token holders in long term. But maybe I have missed this part.

No dividends as far as I cold see. They would run into the SEC unfortunately.

Will this shouldn't be a problem at all. I mean as more people are using the services, as much more value the coin would become.

That is when the project gets a widespread support, which is not so tough seeing the basic idea and team details of Vibehub. The VR industry is only good in first world countries and if it gets into all then we may see a huge success.

The issue with dividend and SEC is not just based on widespread support but ensuring that the dev delivers on the proposed idea. If for any reason vibe has a hiccup and investors feel jaded, that could open them up to been sued by the SEC.

Believe me, we are going to deliver on every word. We are working on something very big behind the scenes right now and will hopefully have this deal done before the ICO is finished. If not VibeHub will be the most undervalued currency in all of crypto, at this point we already are in my opinion.

The SEC is going after people like looq.io who are outright scams or paying attention to the big players like eos and ensure everything up to their standard. There is simply just too many ICO's and not enough man power to actually investigate all of them.

I personally believe the SEC would find VibeHub a breath of fresh air in the ICO market, A devoted team who is extremely active in the community and more importantly a ICO that is not just words on paper. We actually have working betas , SEC is going after malicious ICOs, not projects like VibeHub

Well, that still doesn't answer the question about the dividend. So from your post regarding SEC, are we to stipulate that vibeX holder will get dividends from the VibeHUB?

Quote
Whitepaper Page 9
EventChain  will  have  an  integrated  ticket  resale  reputation  system,  allowing
event ticket vendors and resellers to build and grow their reputation as they sell
SmartTickets. Scalpers will be clearly identified by their SmartTicket reputation

On the one hand you want to stop blackmarket tickets, but there is still the option for resellers to sell on your marketplace. How do you regulate this? If someone for example buy one or two tickets for a great event which he can be sure it will be sold out after minutes and then could ask for double the price or something, will there be a regulation on your marketplace?
my guess is that either they won't allow tickets to be sold for a markup or there will be a limit placed on the percentage of mark up allowed.

when i first read the first sentence I went, oh another coin but the next sentence

The world’s first decentralized accounting platform built on the Ethereum blockchain
introduces the most accurate risk score algorithm ever created.

ok seems interesting.. its ethereum

So after reading that whitepaper and reading the posts on this thread. All you could sum up was It's ethereum Roll Eyes

The transparency in blockchain should propel the next economic boom and partially encourage wealth distribution. Anyway, I love that it will even out the playing field. It sucks that individuals with big bank easily buy out tickets from huge acts within seconds then turn around and sell the aforementioned ticket with a 10-50% markup, the next day.

One thing that is significantly holding back VR adoption is the price of the hardware (headset, accessories, and decent PC). At the moment it seems like the VR hardware companies are trying to improve on their existing headset offerings with various accessories rather than release newer models (which would allow a cheaper entry point using the older hardware).
It's just a matter of time before prices start to become more affordable though.

Such thing wouldn't hold back a savvy investor, he idea is too get in on the ground floor and curtail the rise to success. cell phones were still considered a luxury by some in the late 90's, but a farmer in a rural part of Africa probably owns a cellphone now.

I'm not an idiot, even though you repeatedly told me in another thread. It's in the PayPie whitepaper I've downloaded from the first post.

https://www.paypie.com/Content/files/PayPie-Whitepaper.pdf

Yes page 10 of paypie has Conclusion chapter

Please learn the difference between a page number and a chapter number.
Whoa , chill man, its not there in my whitepaper.
When did you download it? i think mine is the old version, because i didnt check if there was an update for the whitepaper.

Edited : Yes , yours is the latest, mine was only 582 kb, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Please note that Paypie Whitepaper has been updated and latest version is available on Paypie website http://paypie.com

OP will soon be updated with latest one

Thank you, good to know that there's an updated version, I was already wondering...  Smiley Could you please inform which parts of the WP has been updated, otherwise one has to doublecheck the whole WP?
Follwing changes have been made in recent updates :

 1)      Images are changed
2)      Title and executive summary has changed a bit.
3)      We have removed the section 5.1 PayPie Pool
4)      Some changes in Section 5 and new 5.1
5)      For section 5.1 added below text
6)      Changes in section 5.4.1 to 5.4.2 . Old are gone

Hey Wapinter, did they provide a reason for deleting the section regarding piecoin? I was hoping they will provide their intention for adding it in the white paper in the first place, rather than just deleting when it was met with some resistance.

Log into your wallet, on the main address page, under token. Click custom token, then input

Contract Address: 0x8F56b7Ea90a0f63FC7a702FB08e168d77dbcc905
Symbol: SDRN
Decimals: 18

Click add, and your SDRN balance should show up under token

Lol! i don't think he is taking it personal, neither is he pointing a figure. If anything it seems like he is providing the proof needed to prove a point. anyway, am also interested in seeing the Dev's answer to this? my guess is they will utilize a system similar to usdt, but i would like to know how they pay on making it a reality.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 04, 2017, 07:16:28 PM
I have another question: After the tokensale, the vibex tokens are going to be changed into Vibe coins. What kind of wallet we have to use? Is there an online wallet?

You will be able to store our tokens on metamask, myetherwallet, ledger etc The standard wallets that store ERC20 tokens. When you have your wallet open you can also see transactions, balance etc with our online wallet which you can see on our website. If there is enough demand and many people are requesting our own wallet to store coins, we will create our own
i use myetherwallet is my favorite for now,but if you create a new one for store coins i think it will be even better...

That's akin to asking for a different closet for each of your outfit. It's not economical, neither is it efficient. MEW and several of this wallets will suffice and all your token will be in one place. thus making it easier to manage.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 04, 2017, 05:47:41 PM
China banned chinese to raise funds with ico, but they can invest to icos, outside of china.

So i believe chinese will look for good icos out of china and paypie will definetly interest them. Soft cap is easily will pass and i believe we will hit hard cap in a short time after icos start.

Yes, that ICO ban offers project like this new opportunities in the Chinese market. But what they need now to get into this market is atleast Chinese translation for all the important things. Is that already done?
Yes our ANN and Whitepaper both are available in Chinese also. You can check ANN chinese version Here and hers is our ChineseWhitepaper

There isn't much activity on there. Do you have other channels where you can communicate with Chinese investors? Try to make the best of this, as I can imagine they are confused which ICOs are allowed to invest in and which ones are not. If you can get the word out PayPie is safe for them, that could attract a lot of Yuan looking for a new home.

Maybe with some advertisement and paid articles in chinese websites can create good publicity. I believe lots of chinese whales looking for good icos to invest right now, and if we make them aware of this great project, they will definetly make a huge contribution.

There is still several weeks. A month+, if am not mistaken before the ICO commences, am sure things will grow organically. The idea is already unique for the space, so everything is bound to follow suit

It's an ETH based token, so you will use ETH wallets. i.e MyEtherWallet etc

Also how are companies incentivized to add their companies financials to the platform? Do they receive tokens in exchange for providing their data? Finally, is there a similar credit score rating contemplated for individuals?
On the slack, a similar questions were asked and got these responses which were quite insightful.
"Initially we will be attracting established companies to the marketplace by enabling east and fast lending process from anywhere, anytime. Current process with banks is cumbersome, time consuming and very expensive and can eat up to 25-30% of the invoice value in agreement cost, interest and fees. This exposes them to the benefits of blockchain accounting and create wider awareness among them. We already have and will build more relationship with organized groups like accounting and bookkeeping firms who usually advise businesses on what platform to use. The benefits like ending duplicate data entry, automated reconciliation and automatic audits are some of the huge benefits that are simply too hard to ignore because they impact your profits."

Finally, is there a similar credit score rating contemplated for individuals? What I mean is are you proposing a score that would compete with FICO for rating consumers? If so, this could have promise as well.
"Only if person is self employed like a contractor or web developer. We will be able to build a risk score based their income, expenses  and other historical data."

Hello dev team, this is really promising IMHO and will consider an allocation as I learn more about the project and possible valuation. Is this product intended to compete with the oligopoly of S&P, Fitch, and Moodys for credit rating services? Or are you primarily targeting smaller businesses that are outside of the purview of the large rating services? It seems to me to be the latter. Either way there should be room for growth.
They are actually targeting the big players and offering a lot of incentives to use the paypie platform
"Yes, we are not building an accounting software but an accounting platform that exposes to the many benefits of blockchain to the SMEs. It's a mix of accounting software and credit scoring companies....you can think this way because we use the blockchain to solve their cashflow problem."

you should join the slack to communicate directly with members of the team. https://paypie.herokuapp.com/

This is very good answers, and I was already aware of the accounting platform, but not the credit scoring, I thought they had an algorithm to give credit risk predictions, but it appears that it will be integrated fully in the platform, together with a complex ledger to act upon it, so that scoring algorithm is just one part of the product the project is offering to the market, this is getting good by the day Cheesy.

Yes, PayPie is not building an accounting software but an accounting platform that exposes to the many benefits of blockchain to the SMEs. It's a mix of accounting software and credit scoring companies....you can think this way because we use the blockchain to solve their cashflow problem.

I've been thinking about that for some days now and you exposed it again. Maybe the title for this topic was not a good choice for newbies. I mean, when they talk about accounting they mean risk scoring. It'd make more sense to say "World’s First Blockchain Risk Scoring Platform". Don't you think?

Yes, it would make more sense. There is other projects using blockchain for accounting, so that's not the world first blockchain accounting platform. The assesment of the credit risk is their main argument, so they should put it in the title  Smiley

That's actually not true. Sure Paypie will offer credit risk management, but that's just one peripheral of the offers they will provide. it's there on the whitepaper that they will provide invoice management, since it's on a blockchain, thus transparent, it will provide forensic use for a company dealing with litigation.
So basically it's a full fledged accounting platform, emphasis is placed on credit management cos that specific aspect makes Paypie unique when compared to other attempts from other companies.

Hey Retards, it clearly states on the first page PLEASE DO NOT POST ABOUT NOT RECEIVING THE AIRDROP ON THE NEW THREAD, IT IS FOR DEVELOPMENT DISCUSSION ONLY

Maybe you should use to add custom token and input sdrn address and number to see your token. make a little effort before bitching about not receiving coins.

AR/VR for concerts and meet&greets...don't know if I like this part of the marketplace, people go concerts to actually have a "taste" of their favourite artists, same for meet&greet. Especially if we talk about hard rock and metal

Please don't get misunderstood by our model, we never want to take away from going to live concerts and completely disregard live shows. We are just offering Artists another avenue to generate income in a really cool way and for fans to have the option to see a live performance in Virtual Reality and seem like you're actually there while sitting in your living room.

I can see this go strong with old bands. Kiss for example, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are always looking for new methods to generate revenues, if Gene can generate moneys and get in touch with fans by staying in his studio he'll be the happiest man in the world, trust me on this Grin

Am sorry kraterion but i would have to disagree with you. In certain parts of the world hentai porn amasses more revenue than the regular stuff. I hate to take it to the extreme but it's to prove a point. Also, i have associates/friends that are far more occupied by the lives of their imaginary friends on face-book than their friends in real life.

The immersion of technology in our day to day lives have created a phenomenon where several individuals would rather deal with life from an augmented state than actually deal with it in real life. We all heard stories of ppl neglecting themselves to take care of their sims character.

you might be surprised how many fans that would appreciate the idea of personally interacting with a virtual version of a celebrity rather than impersonally dealing with the same celebrity in real life.
So your post might apply to the late 20 something and above demographic but for this younger generation who VR is modeled for, a lot appreciate augmented reality to real life.

Very interesting whitepaper.

I can clearly see:
-yoga lessons
-giving private lessons to students for money (math, languages, flute, piano, guitar ...)
-online job interviews

Possible applications are endless.
Wish you a big success.

Its a whole new world!
Imagine doing a job interview setting on your sofa Smiley or going on a date when you are just sitting home naked Cheesy

I love this world!
Crypto x VR = <3

Going on a date while sitting at home naked Kiss Shocked the abysmal capability of VR. I love it

Oh! this might tickle social media fancy if they completely follow through with their proposal. By the way, for those still confused, this is not a game, it's virtual reality. On a layman's term think of it as a dream, where you have complete control of every sequence. so you stationed in Taiwan and have a friend living in San Juan. both of you have always wanted to visit the Louvre together, with VibeHub you can visit it virtually thru augmented reality. Or rather on a business tip, a conference calls could be made personal. So rather than the old format of conducting conference calls, where participants can't visually express their emotion, with vibe you can have a conference call that emulates live physical meetings.
