Aveti idee daca pretul bitcoinului va continua sa scada?

Da.

O sa scada pana cand launch Bitcoin ETF in America, probabil pana la $40-$50.  Prima zi cand a scazut a fost cand a anuntat Winklevoss brothers the plan for the ETF.

Acuma wallstreet is "gaming" Bitcoin - deprimeaza pretul sa acumuleze bitcoin inainte de launch of the ETF.

Dupa launch eu expect ca Bitcoin sa Sara foarte mult, poate dupa vreo 2-3 luni. O sa treaca peste $266, fost ultimul pret mare si anul ce vine as fi socat daca nu trece peste $1,000 pe bitcoin.

Pentru mining - acuma delivery the ASIC miners a inceput in volume so GPU nu o sa Mai mearga mult timp. ASIC de la BFL sunt cele Mai bune dar delivery sar putea sa ea pana la Craciun.

Multa bafta.

for starters, having your own coin, will take you more than a couple years. full time working on it. and resources

what do you mean you have 140 coin domain names?  thats like 1,400 usd 10 usd per domain.....
but you do not want to pay for a programmer ?
you think programmer is going to work for free when you wasted 1,400 usd ?

but you do not want to PM me because you have nothing to offer?

Dude, what's $1,400?  I spent $4,000 on BFL mining rigs.  A programmer to launch a coin will probably need at least $10,000.  And i haven't received any mining rigs yet cause I only ordered 2 months ago.

And of course I'm gonna get the domains first. Would be lame to talk to people about an idea without having something locked in first.  That's how you lose ideas.

At any rate, I'm struggling financially cause I have 2 kids to support.  And I do know what it takes to launch a coin and there are students out there who can program or guys from 3rd world countries and deals can be made.  No everybody who launched a coin was a programmer.

Well I am confirmed Catholic and as such can speak for every Catholic and the Pope , in saying , I'm that smarter guy.

The Pope says go ahead , we don't care , do it. Evolution is change and Change wipes away the roots we thought we had in the old.

To weather it will be a success? , well refer back to your comment about Apple stock.

Icon "Mary" the mother Goddess ?

Lol, great post, man.

I'll take your word as being from the pope.  Lol.

Yeah, in Europe They're called icons. (Icoane.). They're really popular out there, not so much in the US.

Now I just need to find enough cash, a programmer or both.  Ha!

Time to pray for a miracle.

Do you guys have galaxyCoin.com locked in?  Just curious cause I tried to go to the website and there isn't one.
13305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Market Appeal Coin - SantaCoin on: July 08, 2013, 10:54:21 AM
What are the features of the coin? If it's just another scrypt clone I don't see the point.
Vlad already stated that features are useless
Also, he wants a SHA256 coin, because only exact Bitcoin clones can bring investors

Oh no, jack, you found me.

I didn't say features were worthless, just that people put too much value on them when it's obvious they don't matter that much: ie. see Bitcoin's value, which has the least features.

And yes, shaw256 is the best way to go.  There's gonna be lots of idle GPU's with ASICS coming online and also, if you can have your coin merge mined with Bitcoin there's less to worry about as far as a weak network and 51% attacks.

Now if you can tell me why any of that thinking is flawed, I'm all ears.  TIA.
13306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Market Appeal Coin - SantaCoin on: July 08, 2013, 10:21:36 AM
Snail2, correct the Launch and then how you market it is crucial.  You have to be generous and offer people things they've never gotten from their money before.

Like I said before - there's nothing to produce - no overhead, so you can be generous and even if you give away 40% on marketing you still have a huge successful business plan.
13307  Local / Romānă (Romanian) / Re: Sunt bitcoinii bani adevarati? on: July 08, 2013, 10:14:05 AM
Nu sunt de accord, bitcoin este o moneda si, da, sunt bani reali.

Poti sa cumperi aici in America bitcoin moneda si sa-I incarci.

Good luck.

Its late, I thought English was your second language as Americans don't know football is soccer so I thought you were referring to me.

And if not then Calling Americans lame was a personal attack cause you have no idea I'm not American.

But I appreciate the call-out.  My apologies, I will correct my post. Thank you for your input.
13310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Soccer Coin - SoccerCoin - First Sport Coin on: July 08, 2013, 08:57:55 AM
HEY!  Stupid name.  No one calls the sport "Soccer" but lame americans.

In the real world, it is called FOOTBALL

Actually, it's called Futbol.  More people on earth call soccer futbol than football or soccer (Germans call it Fussball, so there goes 80 million people) but if you did your homework you'd know I'm targeting the English speaking world, mainly America.

If your debating rebuttals are going to be all Ad hominems, then it is no wonder all your ideas are being rejected.

Why don't you take a break from posting and spend some time learning to program.  Then you can release your "coins" already.

You post by calling me stupid and Americans lame cause they don't use a British word for soccer, and you're talking about attacks?  Seriously?

Programming is like learning Chinese - it takes a few years.  I don't have that kind of time.  I'm not some 20 year old.  I'm roughly 40 and I have a wife and kids.  It's time consuming enough being on these threads all the time but I need to stay informed cause I spent quite a bit on mining rigs I'm still waiting to get.
13311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Market Appeal Coin - SantaCoin on: July 08, 2013, 08:46:58 AM
I vote for Bitcoin as the "Mass Market Appeal Coin".

I second the vote.    Bitcoin is it.  Always has been, always will be.

Thanks for your input.  I disagree. I think bitcoin has too many things lacking but I give it props for creating a whole new industry.  Many other coins will make people more money than bitcoin and a few should become bigger and more popular.  We'll see.

But there's definitely room for many more coins and a few really good popular ones.  This is going to be a new industry - it's gonna be bigger than the Internet.  I think few people realize this.

What is this the 4th "Idea" you fished with?

Yeah.  I have tons more but its not looking good.

Not sure what to think.   These ideas are crap.  The timing is wrong - people don't think alt coins are gonna be a mainstream thing and bitcoin will be the only really big coin ever.  Which is not true, there's gonna be other bigger coins.

Or people in general don't care to give feedback on an idea that wasn't theirs.  Cause I'm seeing a lot of senseless comments from what has to be haters.

Either way, this has been a waste of time.  Looks like I have to raise the money and hire a programmer and launch one of these coins and find out the hard way if my hunch is right.
13314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Market Appeal Coin - SantaCoin on: July 08, 2013, 08:18:51 AM
What are the features of the coin? If it's just another scrypt clone I don't see the point.

I don't see anyone but techies buying coins for their features and most features can be turned on at any point via a hard fork so its not really a big issue.

If people bought coins for their features then PPcoin would be $80 and Bitocoin would be 20 cents.

When the masses come in next year they're gonna buy into ideas that either sound good or ideas they agree with.  Some will buy a coin just cause it sounds cool or its associated with someone famous or has a good rep.  Hardly anyone is gonna ask well, does this one waste less energy than this one and are the transactions on this one faster than on bitcoin.

So I'm all about adding good features but when it comes to bringing in the masses, most will not care nor understand all the tech talk, they'll just want to make some money on a speculative coin like bitcoin and if they can do it while investing in a great or cool coin then that's even better.

And that's what I'm trying to come up with - an instant hit, something most people would like off the bat.
13315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Market Appeal Coin - SantaCoin on: July 08, 2013, 08:11:55 AM
Why not just condense your 12 threads about "awesome coin names" into one, so you stop cluttering your bullshit all over?

All over, like where?   Is someone running out of space?

Lol, you're funny dude.

These are separate coins with different target markets, different purposes, and slightly different business plans.  Those interested in a soccer coin may not care about a CatholicCoin and vice versa so one big thread cluttered with 5 different completely different coins would be pretty ridiculous and show a lack of common sense.

Maybe you should try some positive input instead of senseless hater advice which nobody in their right mind would even consider.
13316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Appeal Coin - SantaCoin on: July 08, 2013, 08:08:37 AM

How do you get from Jesus to Santa?

Maybe do both and then try to set up some sort of contest.

I think it's not a bad idea.  It's my secret weapon I'm going to come out with an altcoin that will have immediate mass adoption because of the name.  Every day I wait for someone else to think of it before I can start. But no one does.

Someone is coming very close Wink

But you are picking names that people get very emotional about.

It's ok if you make a jesus coin or a santa coin.  You just have to be ready for haters.  To be honest you could make "your mom coin" and every one would hate on you for it even though everyone loves their mom.

Oh, shit.  Your Mom Coin.  Oh man I'm outta here i got to go find hazard.

Lol, you're funny dude.  But yeah, finally a guy who sees this.  All these alt coins have had some good success and some a lot so imagine just one coin with instant mass appeal.  A common household name which has no trademark.

This is how I got to Santa from Jesus.  Not a lot of big names like that you can just use for your personal coin.

But I agree, if I can't find someone to help me out on this someone else will see this potential and do it themselves. It's coming - it's just too obvious and too big to not happen. Something like an NFLCoin would be huge if they market it right.

I'd love to steal that domain cause its open but NFL is a trademark so I would be holding it for them for free.  Sorry, no free parking.
13317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Soccer Coin - SoccerCoin - First Sport Coin on: July 08, 2013, 07:59:09 AM
Because a) there's no overhead as you're not producing anything so why not use that cut to spread the popularity of the coin and greatly increase adoption before real competition sets in.

And b) because with any new coin, its best to get popular as fast as possible and marketing is the best way.  Once people adopt your coin then you can cut the incentives back.  It's like a coupon to attract people to a new product.

And since these coins have nearly zero overhead since you're basically selling an idea or a concept then man, you have lots of spending money for marketing.  You can spend 40% on marketing and still have a huge profit margin.

If I had my own coin I would pour everything into marketing and goodwill the first couple of years.

Edit:

Bitcoin is worth over $1 billion and it is seen as a fluke, fad and generally a drug dealer coin.  It sells no product or service and has ZERO marketing so yes, there are potential billions to be made by a mass market coin with a purpose and a revenue stream which you can get once you get some cash.

You can be a real CryptoStock - half currency half real business.  I'm shocked bitcoin isn't starting a real business. Very odd.

13318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CatholicCoin - Catholic Coin - Religion Coin on: July 08, 2013, 07:52:21 AM
@dmatthewstewart,

Sorry to give you bad news but bitcoin hasn't done a thing for you.  You worked via mining or risked your cash and bought bitcoins when they were cheap.  Luck gave you something.  Your work and risk taking gave you something because you at least chose to hold when you could have sold at $20.

Like I said, bitcoin, as a company, entity or as a policy, has never given away a single dime to help anyone.  And that's what I meant by what has BITCOIN done for you or your neighbor.  Cause if I bought apple stock at $5 and held to $500 and got rich as sure as hell apple didn't do that for me, I could have lost everything as many people often do.

It was my work, my knowledge, and my risk taking combined with great timing and chance (luck) that made me that money - it wasn't a gift apple gave me, just like all the profits you made off bitcoin were not just given to you by Bitcoin (as you make it sound) to help you out as if they actually know your name or actually give a damn.

And I'm not catholic and I don't agree with much of Catholicism but unlike you I don't have to be something to see the good and the true potential in it.  Try opening your mind and seeing the big picture in things.

And don't worry about embarrassing me - I do fine on my own.

Thanks for your input.
13319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CatholicCoin - Catholic Coin - Religion Coin on: July 08, 2013, 07:43:02 AM
The word 'Catholic' just means 'Universal'.
Bitcoin is already the universal coin.

That's like saying McDonalds or Coke is universal.

There's no such thing.  Bitcoin is only a first mover and is lacking in many things.  For example, what % of their coins goes to charity?  Oh, zero.  There's a problem if you're looking for a good cause coin.
Whichever amount you choose to give to charity, like all charity. Tongue

I hear you but what I'm saying is bitcoin as a company policy doesn't give a single coin to charity.  There's a big difference between them giving to charity and me as an investor or a miner giving.  It's nice when the big companies getting rich off the small guys actually give something meaningful back to society.  Any charity would be nice not necessarily Christian.
13320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CatholicCoin - Catholic Coin - Religion Coin on: July 08, 2013, 07:41:09 AM
Can somebody tell me the obsession or need for coins to use dot ORG instead of .com?  I mean, was dot com taken or why did bitcoin, bitcointalk and pretty much every coin choose dot org over dot com which is still the most popular way to go?

Reason I'm asking is that I'm tired paying double for domain names just in case dot com isn't good enough when it should be all I need to buy.  I've been buying dot com and dot org but that's kind of ridiculous but I can't figure out the reason for choosing dot org over dot com cause it makes no sense unless the dot com was already taken.

Thanks.
