1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin end or destroy in this month?? on: September 27, 2017, 08:59:09 PM
Experts predicted 6000-7000$ price for bitcoin by the end of the year, but Chinaseems destroyed that plan, today bitcoin fell to 3300$ point and to me it's just desaster, because of I live with this earnings and it was very good to me when the price was 5000$ :-)
Bitcoin on its fundamentals is looking very good but we must not forget that a lot of politics move inside and outside bitcoin and one of the stronger actors is China and as such any negative news coming from China especially news as bad as the ones we have got in the last weeks affect the market in a very deep way.
We should be thankful for the chinese people because they created a very bad news that makes the price of bitcoin goes down and we should be thankful for that because we can now buy a lot of bitcoins in the market and save money because of the cheaper rate and it is a good price to deal with so if you are into bitcoin investment then this is the time to buy bitcoin.
Unfortunately I did not have the money to take advantage of the opportunity however I hope that many of my fellow members of this forum did, however I do not think we should thank them, they did this I order to further their own goals and not to help us get more bitcoin.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about a buyback scheme (ICO) on: September 26, 2017, 07:24:46 PM
Hi guys!

We are planning to launch an ICO for our chatbot-platform.Since we are going to sell the service mostly for fiat  fiat money we consider a buyback option as a way of returning profits to investors. We, however, do not understand so far if there are any legally or technically binding mechsnism that will guarantee potential investors, that we will do a buyback and thus raise their trust in us.

Maybe you can recommend something?

Thanx!
That seems like it could get complicated very quickly, what laws are the ones that are going to apply, I suppose that you will want the ones where you are starting your ico, otherwise it is going to get very complicated with hundreds of jurisdictions each one with their own laws.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good casino coin that may hit 50-100x on: September 26, 2017, 07:21:33 PM
Has anyone in this world ever won a dime at any of these casinos?

To my knowledge, theyre not up and running yet. I know edgless will launch soon.
BitDice casino is a casino already running and that gave profits to their investors if any of the projects has the possibility to reach something close to those numbers is that casino since they already have a casino that works and they are just looking to expand their operations with the money they get from the ico.
1344  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 26, 2017, 07:18:41 PM
When I really need money of course I will sell everything I have even with low price or loss. this is because selling when panic position then there is no long consideration.
But this is the issue if think you are going to be in a bad position in the future then it is better to sell your stuff with time that way you are not going to be forced to sell for a bad price, I know that it can be difficult to foresee some situations like a family member getting sick but we must do our best so we avoid to be in that situation.
1345  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 26, 2017, 07:12:24 PM
yes..yes..  nowadays..we cannot denied the fact that money is the one who make our world go around... the one that keep technogy Advanced and updated...like gold..you can determine the if the country or peole is rich or civilized thru the money thay have.. people work harder to earn money for they living.people work harder to earn money to raise their family...to buy thing..to buy food..to buy all the things in this world.. WE NEED MONEY to earn a living in this WORLD.
Money is important but people make the mistake of thinking that money is the only thing that is why you see many people that are profoundly unhappy about their lives because the only focus of their life is to make money and when they are old they realize they mistake they made but now it is too late to correct it.
1346  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: September 25, 2017, 11:57:10 PM
as well as the bad news around with life and gloomy. Trade data goes down, job cuts, bad security, and bad debts my country's economy is not really good. It was once $ 1 = $ 45 in my country. But now, $ = 2PHP. That is because all the corrupt governments deal with our country
Our online banking and ATMs are also not secure enough, so I want to store my cash in bitcoin copper and those countries with the worst economic situation may be the safest way to store. richness
I’m sorry to hear that the situation in your country is that bad but at the same time that is not only happening in your country even powerful countries like Spain have a great unemployment rate and countries like the US have a lot of jobs but with terrible pay and salaries that have not gone up in 30 years despite the fact that productivity has gone up many times.
1347  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 satoshi = 1 US cent? In next 5 years? on: September 25, 2017, 11:54:19 PM
instead I do not believe if the bitcoin price could equal 1 satoshi = 1 US cent. but, seeing the possibility of it happening in 5 years, I think that's impossible. even when transactions are speeding up, it will not happen. if 1 satoshi = 1 US cent, then 1 bitcoin can only have a very rich person.
Correct that is never going to happen but in the case that happened not only rich people are going to get bitcoin remember that you can buy smaller units of bitcoin besides all of us that are early adopters can get bitcoin for cheaper today and save for the future and get access to bitcoin regardless of the price at that time.
1348  Economy / Economics / Re: Someone from 2020 contacted me on: September 25, 2017, 11:52:32 PM
There are a lot of people guessing Bitcoin price sometime in the future... most of them believe it will worth much more than $12000. Let's see what happens... I do believe it will worth more than $12000 too.
We have a little bit more than two years to reach the first day of that year, however the halving is not going to happen until the middle of the year and we need some months before the price goes up like what happened with the most recent halving.
1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: September 25, 2017, 11:48:19 PM
I have no idea if casino will ever accept bitcoin as exchange for chips that is used in gambling.
There are three types of casinos currently online, bitcoin casinos, fiat casinos, and fiat casinos that accept bitcoin, the advantage of bitcoin casinos is that you can play without going through the annoying Know your costumer policies that fiat casinos make you go through, now do not fall on the trap of fiat casinos accepting bitcoin you are still going to have to identify yourself and as such playing in those casinos is a waste of time.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Large Book Order on: September 24, 2017, 11:59:16 PM
Currently using GDAX to trade and there is a massive buy order for 300 ethereum which has moved around, seemingly posted up by a single entity. How would you guys interpret that?
That is an order of only 85000 dollars that is not enough to move the market but it could move the prices in the exchange a little bit, I will not think much of it, that is a single person that thinks that ETH is at a good enough price to buy and it is following his thoughts with his wallet, nothing more.
1351  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will you do? on: September 24, 2017, 11:55:21 PM
hi, what will you do? If the bitcoin price is suddenly cheap

You're stupid when you didn't buy when it crashes.
All of us wants to profit a lot so buying at low and selling it high is the most wise move.
Don't be easily swayed by the fuds, hold your coins tight and wait for the drama to be over.
The problem is that many people are in bitcoin to get some easy profits and they do not really believe in the technology, if bitcoin really crashed hard then I will have no problem buying as much bitcoin as I could afford and then just wait for the day that bitcoin recovers, those will be the easiest profits of my entire life.
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 24, 2017, 11:52:35 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Yes, I believe that there's a possibility becauae still, it involves money. And as long as money is involved into something, corruption will always be present. I'm nit sure on how corruption works in Bitcoin since it is decentralized, maybe it is on ICO projects or campaigns which is related to Bitcoin something like that.
Corruption in bitcoin will work exactly as corruption in fiat, a politician is going to receive a payment in bitcoin or with an anonymous coin like monero or dash and then they are going to erase their tracks and finally they are going to enjoy that money with impunity.
Exactly, the only difference is that they can make a faster transaction and even an anonymous one, its their option but when we make illegal activities we are subject to one punishment depending on the law of our country and that is regardless of what currency we are using to carry out transactions.
True but chain analysis is going to become a lot harder when we get a lot more people using bitcoin just for the sheer amount of data that they will need to analyze, so I think that unfortunately bitcoin is going to be eventually used by corrupt people all over the world to hide their crimes and illegal activities.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: September 24, 2017, 11:48:13 PM
I just want to know how you feel when you get a big win from the gambling you play, I know that feel is definitely fun.
But, do you feel or ever assume you are a gambling expert after you get a big win?
Then what kind of gambling has made you think of yourself as a gambling expert?

A gambling expert is completely the opposite of what you are suggesting here. An expert knows the maths behind gambling.

If you get too excited and think you are an expert after a big win at the poker table, what you are is the fish at the table. Or at least one of them. When it comes to casino-based games what you are is another long-term loser.

Most mistakes gamblers make come from not understanding the Expected Value concept.

Correct, if you do not see a fish at the poker table that is because you are the fish swimming with a bunch of sharks, it is better to start slowly with a game like poker since the plays that some of the advanced poker players can pull on you are very advanced and you are going to fall prey of them everytime.
1354  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: September 24, 2017, 11:44:48 PM
Yes. Because, i heard alot stories about people who hold bitcoin get a very good advantage with current price conditions. Bitcoin is very popular, and my friend says bitcoin is more profitable than gold.
It is a fact that bitcoin is more profitable than gold, there is not a competition there, gold almost does not move and bitcoin moves up and down very rapidly and this creates the perfect scenario for a trader if they are able to figure out how and when the price of bitcoin is going to move then they are going to get big profits.
1355  Economy / Economics / Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost. on: September 23, 2017, 10:41:29 PM
... if you really think more regulations are the answer you haven't been paying attention. The banks write their own regulations. Monopoly money comes about because of ... well, monopolies.

I'm talking about a simple regulation, that I'm sure most people who just need a bank account would agree with : a bank should have full reserves. No right to invest, lend, or anything like that with customers money unless these customers specifically agree to it (and get a share of the profits, of course).

When you need a mortgage or loan, you would go to another type of bank that would do just that, in which people would invest their money knowingly.
Banks will never allow that to happen because they have become so powerful thanks to fractional reserve banking, with that they are able to print a lot more money than even governments can print and that creates such a high inflation rate as the one we have right now, besides even if it was forbidden banks are going to keep doing it because it is too lucrative, the only answer to that is bitcoin and cryptocurrencies with a hard cap on the amount of coins there are ever going to exist.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: September 23, 2017, 10:30:54 PM
We all know how much bitcoin users love dice but I think even poker websites ( bitcoin supporting sites ) also generate same or even more revenue than dice sites . Do you guys play only dice or only poker or both using bitcoins ?

I don't think poker sites can be a competition to dice sites at all those which are accepting bitcoins. People love playing dice games as it has more risk but more chances of getting a lot of profit at the same time. They (including me) enjoy playing dice and using all the strategies to try their luck every now and then, which i don't think people do a lot on poker sites or maybe it is not possible to apply any strategies in poker (i don't know because i never play poker).

The people will play both games. But Dice game a newbie can play, to play Poker game we need knowledge about this game. One is fully luck base game, and another one is skill base game. Profit wise if you think means Poker is the best, but many people will not play because it takes time to finish the game and lot of competition to win a big amount. So people like a dice game.
Most of them play dice because they do not have much free time. But if you have free time, why not play poker? Moreover, there are tables with large stakes, where you can win a decent amount of money.
The reason is that poker is a difficult game, everyone can play dice, you are as good as you are going to be since there is not a chance of winning but in poker you need to study and practice the game and people do not like to make efforts especially in things they consider must be fun and easy.

Playing Poker also needs time and effort for you to become expert or to win when playing, unlike on other games you just need luck and big amount of bankroll for you to play longer and win the casino. There are no strategies in dice site that can give you 100% win,
If we are fair there is not a strategy that is going to make you win 100% of the time in poker too, not even world champions win every hand or every tournament but as long as you win more times than the times you lose then you are going to make money in the long term with a game like poker.
It wouldn't have been put under gambling if it had 100% chance , world champions may not win every hand but for sure they are positive after couple hundred of games Smiley Because you can make a strategy against others in long run.
That is another thing poker players are able to adjust their strategy depending on their opponent that is why they can be so difficult to play against, once they have figure out your style your chances of winning are going to drop like a rock since they are going to be able to predict your movements very easily.

1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a localbitcoin type site for Ethereum yet? on: September 22, 2017, 10:59:29 PM
Ethereum as second highest marketcap coin has become very popular.  I am wondering if there is a site similar to localbitcoin I can use for it.
It seems there is not, this could be because of lack of demand but if there is demand then you already got an idea to make money op, create a local ethereum and if you are successful you could make a lot of money that way in a relatively short amount of time.
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 22, 2017, 10:56:15 PM
Money can not buy all things in this world, if someone died in your family or loved ones can money restore her or his life? Absolutely not. Money can not buy happiness!!
Money has limitations but lets be honest money is very powerful, while in the examples you give money cannot do anything to help you, having a lot of money may allow you to pay for an expensive surgery that can save your live so as you can see money can be the difference between life and death.
1360  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 22, 2017, 10:53:56 PM
Sell digital product in marketplace section, signature campaign or bitcoin mining. Cool
I agree the best thing to do is invest in bitcoin if you really need fast money. Because bitcoin has saved me so many times in the past when i needed money. it can help anyone if he just trusts bitcoin.
I do not agree with you that investing in bitcoin is best way of earning money fast. Because if person is in need of money in short time, he or she can not wait for right moment to sell their bitcoins, waiting can take too long time, and bring too little of profit. And not to mention that they would need starting money for investing in the first place. Marketplace section would be good maybe, signature campaign also, but i guess payment of that would be low as well, but it is better than nothing.
Definitely! You can’t wait for a long time to sell your bitcoin if you are in desperate need of money. Investing is a long process; it takes time for you to earn good profit. I don’t also agree in investing when you’re in need of money. If I’m in desperate need of money, maybe I’ll need to pawn or sell some stuff.
I'll definitely do the same thing if I'm in desperate need of money. I'll sell some stuffs and need to pawn my gadgets or jewelries.
The best thing you can do is to avoid being in such  desperate need of money on the first place, pawning your valuable stuff is a mistake since they never give to you full price of your stuff because they are always trying to earn money themselves and that is why the prices they give to you are terrible.
