Getting 6H/s on Samsung Galaxy S5. Seems that the benchmark indicates sometimes 4, 5 or even zero H/s. It`s not that constant.
I don't expect revenues but it's a cool toy to play around.
I don't know why they are paying the very low amount as 0.01etn for 1 hour, it is there any problem even though I am using wifi on my mobile. Is there any specific reason for that? I mined 0.17 ETN since yesterday night with an LG G5. I get 0.02 ETN every hour now at 20 h/s or 21 h/s now. I will need 2.1 days to get 1 ETN if i don't shut down my smartphone. In 30 days, i should get near 14 ETN? If one ETN one day is worth $1, it is not bad. The mining process is updated every 1 hour. Is there a list of smartphone benchmark for ETN mining? It could be a good idea to have one. |

I mined 0.01 ETH in 1 hour with an LG G5. Only 21 H/s. At start was 17 H/s.

It is not the fault of Rhett. It is the fault of the people doing trading. Don't buy a coin which is already higher than usual or you are going to lose after a drop of the price. It is a big risk to buy at a very high price.
Also study well the coin before investing into it. Don't rush and buy without thinking/doing some research at least for one day.
We have all done this mistake. I have also done it with another coin and now i have to wait for the price to recover.
Just forget about the coin. Just look at it each week. We never know, the price can one day recover, but also fall very fast.

Privacy is the most overlooked but in reality it should be the most important feature. Btcp is the only bitcoin with privacy. With only 4-5 million supply, good luck getting it under $500
You are wrong, as people having Bitcoin can also get BTCP. Supply is near 20 millions if every person having Bitcoin claim it. We can be happy if the price is like Bitcoin Gold and not like the last forks of Bitcoin (Bitcoin God, Super Bitcoin, ...). Very few btc holders claim there forks, it's a fact! Do some research before talking nonsense here. If people having BTC are not interested about BTCP, then the volume of trading of BTCP is going to be low (will be like ZCL or less). The price also may suffer. Bitcoin Cash succeed, because people having Bitcoin claim and trade it. |

I've decided to give this mobile miner a go but don't see why Electroneum have released it.
According to the info page on the miner it says..
"Mobile phones are not built to withstand or cope with the complex calculations required to perform actual crypto mining..."
So this means there will never be a 'real' mobile miner for Electroneum, which brings me back to my original question, why did Electronium produce what is, in effect, just an airdrop service.
Why? Because the Electroneum team want to attract more people in the crypto world. It is also to make crypto more understandable and simpler to everybody. Lots of people having a smartphone may use the Electroneum app just to "mine" some ETN. They may after be interested to sell them and will look about how to do it. |

The number of active miners is growing quickly. Pause the miner, start again and see what I mean!!!!!
Nearly 20 miners per 10 seconds!!!!!
This is when the penny will drop!

For long term investment, i would choose to invest into an ICO or in a new ICO. But you should study the possibility of success of the ICO and also see if it is a scam or not.
At the start of trading of an ICO, a lot of them are going to see a drop of their price. It is sometimes better to wait and buy the coins/tokens on an exchange. Not all ICO is like this, but lots of them.
But the price usually recover after some months. "Usually" but sometimes no...

In a few days we will see the callisto airdrop happening. The callisto token will be rewarded to anyone holding ETC in a one to one ratio. I personally think it could hit 10usd, as it will be used as a store of value and for cold staking. What do you guys think about the price target?
There will be a huge dump when it already listed on the exchange site, Many people are realizing about the fact that the fork coin just becomes a short-term gain. And then after they will be dumping it to the market and then they can put all of the amounts from their fork coin to the promising altcoin. It will be starting at around $3 - $7 range. There is a lot of examples about that. I don't think that ETC is going to be dumped. Because there was no pump of the coin. People only bought it like they normally do trading. They will receive airdrop. But the airdrop price may be very low. I think one Callisto may be worth less than $1 at start. Maybe between $0.5 and $0.01? It will be like the price of a new ICO coin which just has appeared on the market. But it is free coins. There is a risk it is worth less. |

I don't think blockchain is going to kill traditional banking. Some banks are already using blockchain. I would think that blockchain may kill credit cards, but not banks.
It is easier to go to the bank and take out your cash than transfer your coins/tokens to an exchange, and the exchange then send you the cash on your bank account.
If one day we don't have any cash in circulation, it may be possible that the cash will disappear. But i don't think the banks are going to disappear so easily.
Also, a lot of people are still suspicious about the blockchain coins and tokens. And it is also not so easy to do a transaction on the blockchain.
You sometimes need to type by hand the destination address of the receiver. You also need to keep your private key safe, and also should know how to import it.
You also need to take in account the transaction fees which may change. As it depends of the price in USD and the number of transactions of the coin.
You don't know how much time your transaction is going to be delivered. Can be 2 minutes to some hours/days.
Some coins have only a wallet on a pc. They don't have a wallet on every operating system.
You also need to keep a lot of password and accounts on every exchanges. Also need to keep the 2FA safe.
There is also a lot of scammers on the internet.
It is very complicate to stay safe on the internet.

Just saw a TA and a statement that ETC is still bullish. I hope for a increase of >25% before the airdrop.

I'm not saying that this will happen with ETC but 3 days are more than enough for have another all time high. Let's wait and see what will happen on 4th March  Price won't increase much. People have seen what happened with other coins when a fork/airdrop is getting done. They don't want to fall in a trap. Also one Calisto i think is going to be very cheap. So it is not worth to buy ETC if you want Calisto. You can buy ETC, but at a reasonable price (like when you are trading normally). So it's better to sell my ETC before the fork/airdrop instead of getting the Calisto? I bought ETC back in november last year for long term investment, not for callisto airdrop. I don't have any experience in this situation. But for me, this callisto airdrop is not getting so much hype so probably ETC price won't increase too much. I'll play it by ear. If i was in your place, i would trade ETC like i normally trade other coins. Keep some in case if the price increase. But the airdrop won't have any influence on the current price of ETC i think. ETC price may increase one day, but not because of the airdrop. |
