In my own opinion there are currencies which previously were in top20 but now they can't beat newer projects
They will grow of course but not as fast as new ones
For example I can mention
Etherium Classic
Stratis
ZCash
Waves
Doge
Bitcoin Gold
My advice — not to buy these coins... you can play better

What cryptocurrency should I invest in today to get the maximum profit?
You should invest in BTC to get maximum ROI because BTC carry highest return rate as compared to other Altcoins.I have received highest return from BTC than any other crypto in coinmarketcap.So i strongly suggest you to invest in BTC if you wanna get higher return but you have to hold your investment till the price of BTC goes up and you may able to get handsome return as planned by you. I think they have the best gain-risk ratio right now

You can also invest some small part of your portfolio onto ICO

Everything depends on Google but are separate things
Alcoins are companies with new approach , who leads to future
They can't be a scam
You don't understand crypto completely

I prefer to save my funds in different places, but the majority I hold on exchanges
Because I think nowadays it's quite safe, they have 2FA, good security and so on
To save coins on exchanges is simply more convenient cause I trade a lot.
Wallets may be safer but too slow

BTC for sure Because BTC is getting more expensive relatively to USD every year, and if you will trade with USD one day you may find that your USD balance became bigger, BUT your BTC balance became lower and you finally lost a lot of potential money. I think 2 reasons here —
1) Bitcoin is the most popular and most stable coin, which people prefer to enter in crypto and to avoid risks
2) Because of limited supply. There are inly 21 million coins and as more people in crypto as much every coin cost, it's simple. Also as you probably know, its's more and more difficult to mine new coins

ETH XRP ADA NEO LTC IOTA DASH VEN OMG ICON
But I have to say that this coins grow not so fast as smaller ones. Less profit but less risks

I'm not sure about ETH right now, because not so many news from them during last year.
Their network is still slow and expensive
There are a lot of competitors around : EOS, NEO, TEZOS
We will see but ETH team should work faster and better to keep leadership among alts

I think we already saw that they able to kill crypto EASY.
Just to restrict exchanges' work and that's it + a lot of FUD
No new people in crypto and nobody wants to stay here because no possibility to get money
I think there are not so many new technology enthusiasts here

Personally to me, Crisis time is time to learn
When I realized how much I can get with crypto... and then how much I lost during the last market dump... I quit my job to learn everything about crypto, to raise more money and to avoid such a significant money losing
The only thing you can do when you lost almost everything is to learn to AVOID previous mistakes.

The main reasons to me are:
1) They don't know / understand the technology.
2) They think that it's difficult to invest
3) They don't have enough money
4) They don't want to risk
It's amazing how people scare of new technologies and risks. But I think the main risk to them is to skip this opportunity, probably the main opportunity of few recent years
