There is no definite answer to your question as everyone has different ideas on what makes a good investment. All i can say is to do research and invest in coins in which you see potential, remember just because a coin is feature rich does not mean that it will succeed NXT being a prime example. Personally i am invested heavily in bitcoin, litecoin, peercoin and dogecoin as these tend to follow each other when BTC price increases. They are also some of the oldest altcoins around and have considerable staying power. They are also all in the top ten at coinmarketcap.

Apart from those i am also invested in primecoin, foldingcoin and namecoin. Namecoin and primecoin have great potential if they can be developed further. Foldingcoin uses pow mining to find cures for diseases so my investment in that is more of a donation to miners. I was also invested in dash at one time but after a lot of scam accusations against the devs and my own research i decided to sell as it might be a scam, it's price over the last 3 months has also tanked 40% and that further contributed to my decision to dump dash.

All in all do your research, buy coins, put them away and hope the price goes up. It's all or nothing in the crypto game.

In my opinion foldingcoin needs to do 2 things - promote and create a use case. Foldingcoin is a great idea but it needs some more promotion to get to where it should be, running banner ads on crypto sites and perhaps having a interview with a crypto news outlet like cointelegraph would be great ways to increase awareness.

Apart from this foldingcoin as a coin needs to differentiate from the 1000s of crapcoins out there by creating a use case, the online store is a good use case but there needs to be more items on there and it needs to be made more user friendly and easier to use.

The price is down to 20 satoshi some big holder just sold off 3.5m fldc, perhaps some type of incentive is needed to create buy pressure? If this keeps up <10 satoshi is very possible.

FLDC price is being held down because of the massive coin supply, more coins = less price per coin

The state of peercoin at the moment is indeed dire however once V0.5 is released in december a lot of things will start moving. Peerapps which will allows data transactions to occur on peercoins blockchain and peerunity 0.1.2 are just some of these projects. Peercoin has been developing at a slow pace for the last 1.5 years but it is still alive, you have to ask yourself how many coins from the 2012 era are still around and kicking - the answer not a lot. This speaks volumes about peercoins design for long term sustainablity.

I will probably buy into ether when it hits the $0.10 - $0.15 mark so i was wondering if ether has a gui wallet yet. If they don't it would be a deal breakers as i do not feel like messing around with a frustrating command line interface.
