Great job of the CureCoin team to present it on a TedX event. The proposition is quite clear of our kind of coins, so it is an easy sell.

If they want to have us present something we will surely go there, but I think you have to be invited. We will keep on working to increase awareness and support, so hopefully it is just a matter of time!

Hey everybody!
This weekend we will have another monthly meeting. Are there any things you would like us to discuss?
One of the things we will be discussing is the distribution issues that have happened over the past week. This is the biggest issue we have had so far in our history. Right now the calculations are stopped and i have some of developers looking into it as i type this. I will be reporting on this.

waiting patiently for resolving this, while keep folding and pushing those WUs looking forward to watch the meeting tomorrow. i would join but i'm too shy for stuff like that So at long last this problem has been fixed Distributions are on their way out and Joe Looney from Tokenly Pockets has really stepped up in fixing this issue. For those of you who do not read our newsletter, i will paste it in below for a full report on what exactly happened. The key notes though are as follows: - Currently statistics will only be displayed by manually typing a URL, but a new stats page is being worked on to resolve this - Distribution calculations are now done on Joe Looney's Server and you can find the daily stats by going to this link http://joelooney.org/fldc/?token=FLDC&total=500000&start=2015-10-04&end=2015-10-05 (you can change the dates in the URL to the day of folding and the next day to find your stats. For example, today is the 6th, so to find yesterdays stats, you would enter 10/5 as the start and 10/6 as the end) - James is stepping down as the Lead Developer for now and we really appriciate everything he has done for the project. Good Luck James We do have some developers that I am talking to to take over his position. ore to come with that - Distributions are being sent out right now for 9/24-10/3 credits and should arrive shortly - Questions or concerns? my email is rross@foldingcoin.net and i would really like to apologize to everyone, but thank them for being patient during this issue. Here is the community update: http://foldingcoin.net/2015/10/community-update-10515/

so people who ran boinc with gridcoin are now in big profit ? (went up almost *10) and folders end up with 'feel good' points ??
why no promotion for this coin? where is the hype ? where is community to watch the monthly meeting (50 views this time). we need to grow ! is this coin not important at least more than dogecoin ?

FLDC price is being held down because of the massive coin supply, more coins = less price per coin

this is probably the most secured Proof of Work coin, together with Bitcoin i repeat a suggestion i had maybe use the 100 million, to send them to a burning address seem like you are stuck with them and don't know what to do... so maybe i regret for my idea about allocation 50 to 100 million for dev. i meant it to be as ICO or Crowd Sale. in one batch not released slowly at unknown time and amounts if its not ICO better burn the coins ? is there verified 100% unspendable address you could sent it ? it will make this asset more rare and 100% proof-of-work for folding! you said we can't undo previous votes but can decide to allocate the 100m to a burning address it will put back the 0% premine 100% fair label (unlike other similar coin) to FLDC

Currently the plan is to use 5mln to reward long time folders. We are working on an automatic way to get this going. Burning the coins would not really make sense, I think. We can always put them back into the coins to be distributed for the folders and thus support the coin. The best way to make it more rare is by not selling them.

something i had to post here too
" cryptmagic posted in the board FoldingCoin General that you are subscribed to. The topic was Share FoldingCoin - Quotes, Sound Bytes, Graphics, etc...
I was working on a quote, something catchy to share with family and friends when explaining FoldingCoin to them. I thought it would be fun and useful to share ideas and ways to promote FoldingCoin. With that said here is my quote and contribution:
FoldingCoin: "I used to leave the lights on and the toilet seat up, but now I'm helping humanity. I fight cancer and battle disease by turning off the lights and running Folding@home... sorry about the toilet seat." - CRYPTMAGIC "
