1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGE] Will history repeat again? MOON on: January 03, 2017, 10:57:42 PM
I'm waiting for Bitcoin to stop pumping then I will buy lots of DOGE. A pump from 20 sat is a sure thing imo. How high will it go? Not sure but it will definitely be over 40 sat.

I am also hoping the same as now everyone is busy in bitcoin price and no one is noticing that lot of altcoins price have gone very down and if their is correction in bitcoin price then surely this all good altcoins will atleast get double the price. And i have started to take profit in bitcoin and investing in altcoin like dogecoin, ltc, eth
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FAME][LAUNCHED]famecoin - viral photo sharing on Blockchain with tippings. on: January 03, 2017, 10:47:53 PM
Fame coin is very active that is great news!
Noting new news from dev, maybe him not will be release that application.  Sad

Even if the release the app this wont change much in price not now not in time when app comes out
To much was hoped for this coin and in the end ended like any other coin just another in the line
Shame it was good at start but to end like this is maybe expected

It was due to prolonged in ICO as the first phase of ICO was good but second phase delay have made this project lose faith from the users on the project and more over the required amount was not received that ICO failure and this project also.
1344  Economy / Speculation / Re: is 2017 the new 2013? on: January 03, 2017, 09:08:03 PM
If it breaks the ATH after so long bear - then it will jump much higher than just 2000. 2013 is actually a good model here - breaking ATH was end of February then - look at the charts.

It could break $2000 in the first quarter, I'm not negating it, although I think there will be much resistance because of profit taking in the area between $1500 and $2000. But it is more difficult for the price to double than it was in the first 2013 bubble. In 2013 Bitcoin was basically unknown and barely usable. Today we need a strong capital injection for this.

And I think a strong rally before the final enabling of SegWit will lead rapidly to a crash because of the full blocks. I already am hearing the newbies crying for getting their transactions not confirmed.

about newbies crying is that due to mainly low transaction fees apart from that who ever is paying the proper fees according to the price of bitcoin they are getting their transaction fast, and i am thinking that for some days if the price stays in 1k range then next move will give more upward as just like it happened when it was roaming in $600 to $700 range and it broke and now the price is 1k +.
1345  Economy / Services / Re: I am looking for phone service with extra charge on: January 03, 2017, 08:56:03 PM
Like a 1-900 number or VoIP one that is in a country code like Vanuatu that doesn't have discounted/free international rates like US to Canada, US to Mexico?

Is it possible to get this type of phone numbers which can be used with internet services which cost is very low in outgoing and incoming.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: January 02, 2017, 09:10:31 PM
Any exchange ?

where can i exchange my coins to BTC?

I think they are working on it,they have extend the ico,so maybe after the ico we will see this on various exchange, their target is Bittrex which investors are also hoping to get in,the price now is increasing I bought some at $0.95 now it's $ 1.03..

Do you really think that this is good for a ICO to extend it without giving any good reason, i think what ever invested in ICO is enough. but the developer is having something else in the mind.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder to not use brainwallets on: January 02, 2017, 03:17:46 PM
What is a brain wallet ? These are the wallets that are secured by a passphrase like Multibit HD, or is it something else, and I'm wrong ?

Quote
A brainwallet refers to the concept of storing Bitcoins in one's own mind by memorizing a mnemonic recovery seed. If the mnemonic is not recorded anywhere, the Bitcoins can be thought of as being held only in the mind of the owner. If a brainwallet is forgotten or the person dies or is permanently incapacitated, the Bitcoins are lost forever. Using techniques like memory pegging allow them to be memorized and recalled easily.

To create a brainwallet, use Bitcoin wallet software to generate a mnemonic seed and then memorize it. Such seeds are generated by wallets like Electrum, Armory and Mycelium.

Here you have it. I think the thing is, you can never trust that your seed is not going to be hacked. You can trust that your wallet.dat is going to stay safe if you keep them in safe places and encrypted, you can trust your paper wallets will not move from your closet and so on... but you can bet on brainwallets in the long term.

What you are telling is not upto it, as if you have the passphrase key with you you can always anywhere regenerate your old wallet in electrum , mycelium. So i think in this desktop wallets you have to keep in memory the passphrase because even if you lost your wallet.dat file with passphrase you can regenerate your old wallet and run back your all address.
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting payment unanonymously on: January 01, 2017, 09:43:18 PM
Hi.. I want to know if there is any way one can accept payment in bitcoins without the payer knowing whom he is sending money. Is there any way the payer can find out whom did he pay by sending a mail to the website owner or smthng..

Ya it is possible until what type of wallet you are going to use, if you are using desktop wallet then you should not use other address so that others cannot know it. but what you are asking is some what suspicious i think you dont want to know this details because you are going to do some thing illegal activity.

Then better be careful because what ever smart you are wrong doings never pay you good
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high would Bitcoin price have to be for you to live off Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2016, 07:53:02 AM
Many wealthy people can live off the interest of the money they have in the bank,or other passive income,  How high would Bitcoin price have to be for you to live off Bitcoin?

Until the life expenses are not running in bitcoin , i mean until the bitcoin valuation is not calculated in fiat currency till then who ever is holding bitcoin cannot get fully assured of his wealth value , so i think until the bitcoin are not converted to the fiat currency no users can tell how much is sufficient to live off in life. Because everyone have its own wishes and dreams, so no one can tell that this much is enough and if he gets more then he wont give it back.

1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: December 30, 2016, 07:23:26 AM
People are messaging me asking if I would like to buy their Bitconnect coins for half the ICO price.... um why are you even selling them at half the price you bought in at ? It seems like a fair few people want to just unload their bags and go.

im just kidding  Cheesy

no offense

Why would you be kidding in trying to make a sale? There's no gain of any sort, and you don't benefit at all. This seems quite unusual.

i have a motive but i can't tell you what is that Grin Cheesy, one thing clear is I don't have any plan to steal penny from anybody, anyway you don't get harmed at all

I think i can get you motive of giving  the sale of coins is you wanted to know the market response for this coin whether their is any buyers or sellers. Not a bad idea
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying an altcoin with fiat directly... anyone do this already? on: December 30, 2016, 06:30:31 AM
Hello,

you know, something without any hassle for the end customer that would like to buy an altcurrency....
No jumps here and there, not having to go on an exchange, etc...

I was just wondering if any websites offers to buy an altcoin directly using fiat like Paypal/credit cards,etc... ?

and/or is there any alt-currencies that offer directly this service?  to buy a coin using your credit card, for example?

thanks to list all of them.

In the past yes it was possible and as far as I know a coin was accepting bank transfers in fiat money and I think it was iconomi during the ICO but you may check it again since they have other investment plans.

Yes Iconomi is the first ICO which started to accept the fiat currency and after their success most of the new ICO have started to accept fiat currency and other alt coints
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling idea on: December 30, 2016, 06:28:50 AM
Hello;

I want to establish a bitcoin gambling website. Can you guys suggest me a "unique" idea excluding rolling a dice and poket?

I need a cool and brilliant idea which is currently not on the market.

Thank you!

You need the cool and brilliant idea without losing any penny , i dont think anyone will try to give you a new idea for free, if you want really then you can start a competition thread so that they can also get benefited.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 30, 2016, 06:27:11 AM
Pakistan are in deep trouble currently at 5/91 and still trail by 91 runs. Ali once again is the only Pakistan batsman with standing the pressure from the Australian bowlers. If Australia can get Ali out soon I think it will end very quickly for Pakistan and Australia will win most likely without batting again.

Australia have done a good job just like India vs England last test match, Australia batted good and gave a decent score for Pakistan to chase for 2nd innings to defend the match, in that process they lost 6 wickets for 113 runs, still 30 overs are left and they have to score more 68 , I think this match is mostly Australia is going to win
True , very similar to 5th day Final test of England v India and now Aussies need just 1 more wicket to win this match . Pakistan took this way too easily and they gave away too many runs in the morning . The only way Pakistan can still end this as draw is to score more than 60-70 runs which is nearly impossible .

Australia have won the test match, even after rain interrupt they aware able to win this test match, as as usual Pakistan choked and collapsed , Starc is their main key bowler, who have always given them break through.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help about Gambling? on: December 30, 2016, 06:25:32 AM
I want to know which is the best option for gambling:-
1) Dice games
2) Blackjack
3) Roulette
4) Slots.....
I have tried Dice games but I am not Satisfied with it. I want to know your opinions which is the best gambling option From the above list?Huh?

Out of you four options i dont prefer to gamble as all of this games are luck based and i dont have faith on my luck, it is better to play sports betting and poker bets with live players, in sports you can analyses the teams and match and come to a conclusion of bet
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 30, 2016, 06:22:54 AM
today match

Hull City vs Everton - This match Everton will win easily as Hull City have lost their last 4 matches without scoring  a goal and even last two match in home ground also they were not able to score, So this match Everton ML bet is good and over 1.5 goal is also a good bet

1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling idea on: December 30, 2016, 05:05:11 AM
I think whats more important than your "unique" idea is how bankroll you have to get the site up and running.

Running a server is cheap and so is the programming but you need at least 100 BTC of bankroll and need to prove it publicly before people send you any deposits.

Because what if someone wins 10BTC on your site but you have less than 10 BTC in your cold storage to withdraw? Its not fair.

I don't think a casino necessarily needs a bankroll of 100+ BTC. With a house edge of 1 % and a bankroll of 10 BTC a casino can offer its players a maximum profit of 0.1 BTC–currently nearly $100–per round in accordance with the Kelly criterion. Of course it cannot compete for whales like that, but for a large portion of gamblers that is probably sufficient.
Yes, Start with a betting cap with respect to the odds so that 10-20 BTC is there in you storage to payout. You could also keep your books visible to other and let others invest as house in the site. This way investors might be interested in putting in money so that you can increase the bet cap accorddingly.
10-20 BTC bet cap is already decent but if were OP i would put up 100 btc or more so that people would really get their trust and could assure theirselves that this gambling site could really pay when someone wins really big. Also adjust the house edge and make it lower compared to other competitors and this mighr caught attention on potential players.

I think 1% house edge is decent and most of the gambling sites are keeping that house edge , to be frank you are starting the site to earn so be genuine and keep everything open, and about the bankroll then it is upto the Site owner that how much big players he wanted to play on his site so according to it you have to show the Deposit of your wallet.

I like one thing said in above it keep your transaction detail open so that anyone can come and see what is the position of the site , like this it will be fair and open so that who wanted to invest in gambling sites can come and contact you, like this you can develop your site more.
1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet.dat recovery on: December 29, 2016, 09:15:11 PM
If I have a wallet.dat file, what is the easiest and most effective way to recover it?

Their is two of recovering the wallet , one if you are using blockchain then you have to download the software and copy and paste the old wallet.dat file in the app folder and then you have to run the sofwate and it will sync fully after wards you will be able to see your address and the bitcoin stored in the wallet. this may take time for sync

if you are using electrum or other wallet then it is the same precedure but it will be soon as this wallet dont need lot of data to sync and even through passphrase also you can rebuild your old wallet.
