1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 16, 2022, 02:03:22 PM
Since the odds are out already, I can tell that this is going to be a popular fight.

Some fights have the odds available only days before the fight, but this one we have early odds where we can check and we can put our bet at the same time. We have the consensus here and the majority are bettong on Thurman to win.

The odds may change when the fight is close to the day, I would suggest not to bet, for now, stake.com has not even displayed their odd. Yes, this is a popular fight because both fighters possess titles in the past with a long list of winning streaks in the sport. Both are very experienced, I think this will be a very fair odd that there wouldn't be bookmakers' favorite.

It's not displayed in stake yet but they have listed it already.

While Sportsbet already has the odds available, you can check and maybe bet on the site.

1342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 16, 2022, 01:36:18 PM
The Lakers lost by 37 points, and I would even say they were destroyed by the Nuggets. LeBron scored 25 points, Westbrook scored 19 points and had 0 turnovers, and even Howard played in the starting lineup. However, it doesn't matter since Jokic made a triple-double in this match, and the Lakers couldn't handle him.

Actually, I think the Lakers needed a beatdown by 50. you know, they were just standing in the defense, no spirit at all. If you look, they had  Frank Vogel, the best coach, But now it wasn't enough. The match was really frustrating to watch as a Lakers fan. It was almost like LeBron James vs the Nuggets match. On the other hand, Nuggets had 32 assists against 21 of Lakes. It really shows the team effort.

Lakers are always exposed every time they play a good team or a playoff team. Sometimes they'll have some winning streak but only against a weaker team and we should not be misled by what they show because they are as a team are messing up this season.

It's hard for the Lakers to win without Davis, that's the reality because Lebron James even with his consistency could not make this team better. Their plays are very predictable because not everyone is contributing, that's why the Nuggets easily dominated them. Anyways, seasons are not over yet and as long as there's still time, there's still a chance to improve.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 14, 2022, 02:56:01 PM
I don't know what happened by the Bucks is leading by a huge margin against the Warriors.
Can the Warriors turn it around as we are already in the 3rd quarter and it is a low scoring game which does not favor them.

Pels also leading the Clippers at the second half. So goodluck to all bettors, we still have another good game, Blazers vs Nuggets.

There's nothing to be surprised by what happened, Warriors are playing against the defending champion, so it's not impossible that the Bucks will dominate and win. Now that the Warriors are in a back to back losses, both with a huge margins, let's see if they'll make the right adjustment in the next game.

Maybe we are expecting that the game will be somewhat close, but then again, Giannis always perform very well against a team that is on top, so another night for him to have a triple double in their homecourt. And again, the Warriors are in back to back losses, for sure they will try to get back in their next game. As for the Pelicans vs Clippers game, LA Clippers is really inconsistent, so it's hard to bet on them even if they are the favourite to win the game.
If no one can stop Giannis then most likely the Bucks will win as he is the one who brings energy to the team. Giannis has improved every season and he also become more mature, he used to be a double-double guy which focuses on scoring and rebounds, but now he learn how to master his assist and that helps the team to be more unpredictable. Also, Portis is a big help, as always most especially in the playoffs.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 14, 2022, 11:48:59 AM

There's no avoiding if Butler will win the fight. It basically no sense for Inoue to fight Casimero if the latter loses the fight.

The task is clear, if Casimero will be successful in all mandated fights given to him by WBO, the chances of fighting Inoue is clear. And since Butler is already the top contender for WBO, there will be no mandated fight next that Casimero has to go through but to unify belts against either Donaire or Inoue, only if he wins.

these fighters mentioned above are those fighters who want to prove that they are pro enough to be the number 1 in the bantamweight division. This is a big chance to casimero if he will win this match against butler if he could then he has the opportunity to fight the current number 1 which is Inoue but casimero will failed in this match the opportunity to will be given to butler.

It's possible that Casimero will lose, but based on the betting odds, he will likely win this fight as he is a heavy favorite. Butler considers this fight as a big fight that he has to win, so both fighters really want to win as this is their ticket to fight Inoue who is probably waiting for a unification fight.

1346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bulls Are Coming Back Soon, Are You Ready To Ride? on: January 14, 2022, 08:06:55 AM
Bull market will certainly come but a minor recovery doesnt necessarily mean we are heading to bullish season again. Thus I think its better for now to monitor the market and accumulate if you can still afford the price since the price can move unexpectedly.

Take advantage the situation before it pump hard because its always good to fill our bags before a bullrun happened.

There was a push to $44,000 but that's the most that we could do at this point as the price dip around $42,xxx again. Nevertheless, it was a brave move by the bulls, but I guess there is not enough momentum as the rest of investors are still in the middle and might not be interested.

But this is just the beginning of the month, many things can happen, maybe at the end of the month we can see around $45,000 and going to $50,000 at some point.
I think the recent price surge of bitcoin was not good enough reason that we are now heading into a bull run, anything can go wrong with just a single move. But i admire you OP for being so positive this time, wherein most of the people here have already accepted that in less time, the market will eventually turn bearish. Not totally good for those who aim to make profits for now, but definitely a good start to invest in coins with high potentials.
1347  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 14, 2022, 05:37:19 AM
The year 2021 has come and gone and has left behind some great lessons, most especially as it relates to our economic life and how we balance the sheet at the end of every calendar year. I have drafted my economic plans for the year 2022 and may be interested in learning some lessons from them. The number one thing is to know how much capital I have and how long can I invest in it and what are the percentage profits turnovers, after that, I will look for the right investment to invest in and how much I should invest in it. Then I will try to diversify my investment. I will take less risk this year but make my finances more stable with some skills development.
2021 wasn’t a bad year for me.it was really good and I was able to achieve a lot in it. I think that the mistake that most people do make is that they are always trying to gain everything; they don’t even think of the right time that they are meant to take a particular action, all their mind is just focused on trying to gain as much as possible.

It is always good, and the best for us, to be taking our steps slowly and not try to rush everything that we are doing. We can always start taking small profit whenever you feel it is right. And you should also have a target that you are trying to reach, if not, you would be like a soldier on a mission with no plan at all.

I am very satisfied with Bitcoin's performance in 2021, even I managed to make a big profit in 2021. I managed to get all that because I had a good
plan from the start, so I could get positive results. Therefore, entering 2022 we must also start planning the investments that we will make. We have
to determine what strategy we will use to be able to generate much better profits in 2022. Moreover, the crypto market is very volatile, if we don't
plan well, there is a possibility that we take the wrong decision. Don't let us fail to get positive results this year because we didn't prepare a good plan.
I believe most people who manage to make big profits, they don't get it by chance, but I believe they have done careful planning beforehand.

Just do the same strategy prior to the 2021 bull run and you'll eventually make a profit in the next bull run. I'm not saying the bull run will come soon or this year, but it will definitely come, what we are going  to witness this year might be a huge correction, so we also have to be ready with that, see it as an opportunity to accumulate rather than a situation where we should panic and dump everything we have.
1348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 14, 2022, 05:15:25 AM
I really don't understand the Lakers...  Dwight Howard has been playing literally at an MVP level this season when he's on the floor, and while he is barely getting any minutes, his impact is obvious.  There must be something going on behind the scenes because I believe Dwight being let go last year is why they didn't make the Finals and now they're talking about trading him!  Absolutely insane.  There has to be stuff going on we aren't seeing.  I know Dwight has been "sus" for quite a while in the league due to various questionable antics, but as a basketball fan I want to see him out there...

https://hoopshype.com/2022/01/13/lakers-assessing-trade-value-of-dwight-howard-deandre-jordan-and-kent-bazemore/

To think that Dwight Howard is the missing piece last season why the Lakers weren't able to go to the Finals, was an overrated view for me. He's is a good role player for the Lakers but not on an MVP level.

But I agree with you that the Lakers are not using him fully because of a bad rotation. Even with his previous team with the Sixers, his playing time is still not that much maybe because of inconsistency for several seasons now while switching teams.

Yes, and he is better that DeAndre Jordan for sure, but not sure why he wasn't given enough time.

We've seen him both defense and offense and he really contribute to the team. He can still go for a block shot, change the shots or intimidate everyone going inside. But I guess the Lakers are heading or shall I say experimenting again, with Lebron playing center at times.  Grin

Lebron can play as a center but it's not effective for the team as he usually brings the ball to create a play. Also, playing as a center, might make him injury prone and we don't want to see that for the Lakers as it's automatic "out of the playoffs" without him.

1350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: January 13, 2022, 11:43:29 PM
Anything can be possible. The price of bitcoin decreases a lot form the ATH though the current condition is green but everything is possible. Due the current position the price of bitcoin rise up and we see that 38k has strong support zone for btc so normally it may not down under 38k in this stage.
Bitcoin is still unstable at this time so chances are, it may continue to drop or it may surge its price again that could lead to its new ATH. But hitting the $30k area i think is still very possible especially if negative news will hit the market again and will leave a negative impact on bitcoin and altcoins. But having this price is not really bad at all since it will be the best price for bitcoin that may attract a lot of investors to enter in the market.
1351  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 13, 2022, 08:32:47 PM

Speaking of savings and investment plans then saving up in your wallet alone would be enough and let volatility would do the rest.
Don't worry about volatility if you are saving as it would only make you panic, almost every day the price is moving, you can't ignore that if you are so sensitive to price volatility. You'll only be affected by volatility if you are doing short-term trading as it's very crucial to understand the price movement so you'll do the right decision at the right timing.
I think the same, if someone is saving bitcoin then they need to stop caring about the volatility of the price as this will only weaken their resolve to save in bitcoin, now it is true the price of bitcoin can go down relatively quickly but that is to be expected with an asset like bitcoin, what matters is that over the long term the trend is for bitcoin to go up in value, so as long as you can ignore the short term volatility then the value of bitcoin and what you can purchase with it will keep going up.
Volatility is something that you have to accept since it will always be a part of bitcoin. And if you plan to accumulate more of bitcoin, then better get used to its own high volatility. I think if you prefer to take less risk this year but still want a greener income, investing in bitcoin should always be your top priority. It may be expensive in value and creates more volatility, but you won't be disappointed on the huge rewards that you will be making in the future as long as you start buying it now while the price is still cheaper.

Welcome to the forum but if you could provide more information regarding the gambling site you are promoting, that would be very helpful to us gamblers. Edit the thread and give more information, my suggestion.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 13, 2022, 12:48:17 PM
if we will have a poll on this match, i believe spence jr will still be the favourite here by bettors.

Favorite to win the match or the usual favorite as interest?

I don't see most bettors will put a stake on Spence Jr. if the odds will be around @1.5 unless willing to take the risks since to them, it's a sure win for Spence. Even I'm rooting for Spence to win, I want to see the odds first and if Ugas has big odds, I might consider placing a bet for him. Who knows.

Can't believe his eye injury will be fully healed in March or April unless it's not a big issue before but just take it as a reason for skipping Pacquiao's fight.

If it will not drop below 1.50, I think it's a good odds for Spence knowing that he is a great fighter who can take down Ugas for sure. As of now, we have no idea of the odds but one thing is sure is that Spence will be listed as the favorites to win the fight, so let's just hope an attractive odds for Spence so we will bet right away.

Of course, that 1.50 is still very attractive for bettors who are trusting the undefeated boxer to win here. Ugas is not really at the level of Spence and Crawford, and since these two are the top champions in their division, there's no way Ugas who beat the old Pacman will beat either of the two.

If those who believed that Spence can outright win, they yeah why not, I'm read before that there are even some gambling whales willing to bet on 1.1-1.2 odds with huge money in Las Vegas in a boxing match.

So probably we will see a lot of those whales who are going to pour money on Spence because that is a good odds for them.

But for the majority of us, who also loves to bet on the underdog, maybe we will take a closer look at the odds and put our money on the best odds we know that will give us a good pay.

Whales can take that because they have a lot of money and that 10% win is already significant for them. For a Typical gamblers who bets $10, I think winning 10% is not satisfying at all, so we are really looking for good odds, if we can't find it in ML bet, then we can use the handicap or other market just to get an attractive odds.
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: January 13, 2022, 06:02:35 AM
This year I want to rest a little and watch the market. There are a few projects that I follow. I don't plan on making any other investments.

It's your choice as we have our own set of plan that we tend to follow. As for me, i still want to utilize every opportunity that comes to buy potential coins and sell them once they are in profits. Its not that i have enough funds, but its more on the fact that we will never know what will be the future of the coins so whenever i see good projects that i think will succeed, i usually make a research on it and start investing.

However, its also a good idea to take a break for a while and just come back whenever you see yourself fresh enough, ready to take challenges again.
1355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep calm and buy the dip! Told yah. on: January 13, 2022, 05:06:47 AM
I believe this is the perfect time to open this thread since we finally see a reversal and a clear pattern. Congratulations to those who buy the dip especially those who manage to scoop the wick below 40K. I believe Bitcoin will show a good uptrend movement starting this week and so on until it reach a resistance. It's a good thing that Bitcoin manage to recover after it hits the 40K support and never close below that level.

Of course there's always a chance to have a retest on that same 40K area before we can see a massive pump again. Still a good profit for those who bought on the recent dip.  Wink
Right now, bitcoin has already made a significant rise and its currently priced at $43,657 so if this price movement will reach $45k level, i think the market has overcome its correction and is now moving upward to reach its new ATH. Otherwise, this is just another kind of trap because at the end of the day, we will see bitcoin dropping back again as we finally enter the bearish season. Lots of speculations are already coming in, but of course we have to prepare ourselves wherever the market will go as we don't hold the future of bitcoin.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: January 12, 2022, 07:28:38 PM
The whole purpose of cryptocurrency is to be free of any governmental regulation, and we have achieved that goal.
Right. It was built as decentralized so no group or entity can ever regulate it. Although there are some government policies for bitcoin users, but for bitcoin itself, it won't never be regulated. But i think once it will adopted globally and act as an alternative to fiat, maybe by that time the government will be able to regulate it slowly. For now, as long as its fully decentralized and not yet fully backed by the government, it remains to be unregulated.

1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 12, 2022, 11:29:06 AM

Well, if they will trade him then at least it will not be on the 76ers because he isn't fit there (at least for me) unless he wants to be a bench player.

He won't go to the bench, sixers would be stupid enough if they will not utilize his talent, this guy could do effectively both on offense and defense so he is also a major loss for the Hawks if they will trade him, remember his contribution in the playoffs, he is so valuable as he is not afraid to play with the bigs of any team.
I do agree. Someone will need to fill the spot of Tobias Harris if ever he will be part of the trade. Not the hole left by Ben Simmons because 76ers already got used to playing without him.
But regarding the comparison, yes Collins has the upper hand because of his shooting skills. Embiid won't even have a problem with him because he can play both off guard/small forward, plus they need more big men if ever he needs the breather.
Looking at the 76ers roster, their players under the rim are Embiid, Drummond, and Niang. Korkmaz is being forced to help with the rebound although we know he is best being an outside defender. They badly need that forward spot that could rebound and maybe shoot at a high percentage to make space for Embiid to do his magic in the paint.
I would be happy if the trade that we are looking for will eventually come into reality. Ben Simmons has been laid off for a while, he need a new team so him and the 76ers will be able to move on and everyone will be happy. If he will play with the Hawks, then so be it, as long as both teams are satisfied on the trade, everything should happen ASAP.
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 12, 2022, 08:23:34 AM
Well said OP. A lot of people have knowledge about Bitcoin but they failed to enter and take advantage of Bitcoin volatility. Just 2 years ago Bitcoin dropped to $3K. Even I was well aware Bitcoin would pump at any time I failed to accumulate during that time due to financial limitations. Earning wasn't very good and the priority was to feed the family. In that situation very hard to make the decision. Because we all are unaware of the Bitcoin future. We should be able to hold for a quite long time when we decide to enter on Bitcoin. Shouldn't be forced to sell for feeding family. So of course financial capability is quite important to invest in Bitcoin. That's how actually rich become a more rich and poor struggle to feed the family.
That's the sad reality, rich people will become richer because they are more capable to invest in bitcoin compared to middle class or low class people. But i think if you really aim to own bitcoin even just a single portion of it, i think that will be very possible if you find a way and would stick to your plan. Although not all people get succeeded in bitcoin, but i believe everyone is given chances to make profits but not everyone can endure the risk.
1360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell a little bitcoin now to get into alts when it all drops soon? on: January 12, 2022, 06:33:35 AM
But for me, bitcoin is my top choice and i can see that its the most profitable coin in the long run so there's no way that i will sell it so i can accumulate more altcoins too. I'd really love to have some potential altcoins too but i will not sacrifice a single bitcoin for it.
Not all people still have the capital to buy coins right now. Some people need to sell their coins to buy another more potential coin. Of course, we mustn't sell all our Bitcoin, but selling a small number of BTC for potential altcoins seems a nice idea. Not all crypto assets are planned for a long-term target, some coins are targeted to sell for a short-term target. Altcoins are the best option if someone wants to earn profits faster. As long as can analyze which one is the best altcoin to buy, and know the right time to buy, I think nothing wrong with that idea.

Absolutely right. Of course, if we can still keep bitcoin to hold for long term, i think that will be very profitable in the end. But if you think your plan is better than just simply hodling bitcoin, i mean if you can do good trading with potential altcoins, then that will still be profitable. As long as you know you are good about about it and is capable to multiple your profits, then selling a small portion of bitcoin in exchange for altcoins will definitely work in the end.
