1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: World's Biggest AIR-DROP in History happening! on: August 20, 2017, 06:44:41 AM
I think you should sell it and buy bitcoins it's safer. BCC is going down now while Bitcoin price is rising fastly.
At this moment, 1BTC = 3180$ and am sure it will reach 5k soon.
Holding bitcoin is the best strategy since it's the only coin that rises constantly.

Constantly? No cryptocurrency will constantly rising in price there will be ups and downs indeed bitcoin price reached another all time high but it won't last long sooner or later it will go into price correction so, don't say bitcoin is constantly is rising it better to say that bitcoin is volatile.
Sure there will be ups and down, but give me another coin that keep rising in price like bitcoin do!!
maybe holding bitcoin is not the fastest way to gain profit but it still the safest strategy. Beside, all cryptocurrencie experts confirm that bitcoin price will keep rising (as i said there will be always ups and down).
Correct, holding bitcoin is not the fastest way to become wealthy with crypto but it is the safest and in most cases the easiest, to benefit from ICO you need to know a lot about the technology and even then you do not know how responsive people are going to be to another coin.
1342  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: August 20, 2017, 06:35:27 AM
No, it's always analysis. It helps to pick the right coin to buy. I always buy coins from polo and bittrex so the coins I'm trading aren't scamcoins and are not going to be delisted easily.
I think the op in a way is right, there is not a mathematical formula that can guarantee your success at trading so at the end a trader needs to take many factors in consideration and depending on how we weights these many factors then he is going to reach a conclusion about what to do, but at the end is just a guess.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When ETC will rise on: August 19, 2017, 05:37:06 AM
It's been a few months ETC stay the same level; what is your opinion? do you think it will skyrocket or will it stay the same
ETC has gone up almost ten times in terms of fiat in the last 8 months. What else do you want? Some people can be really impatient, a coin cannot go up every day, as long as the long term trajectory is positive then to me that is fine, if to you the growth is too slow maybe you should invest in other coins.
1344  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: August 19, 2017, 05:29:52 AM
I suggest to try ICO, many members who have proved that ICO is very profitable and a good investment. But if you just want to be safe, then hold bitcoin and expect the price to go up is a good choice.
But be careful in investing on ico there are lots of ico now are scam they just launch good project but after the ico they are not gives the roi of investors.
I agree that much better to hold your bitcoin in your wallet and wait for the pump of value or just do trading in bitcoin to fiat to make an income.

If you don't have any knowledge of trading and Ico then the best thing would be to hold your existing coins for the future and by doing that you will make good profits as its very hard to find good Ico nowadays as most of them turn out to be scam.
I think there are some good projects but I think people think that just because they invested in an ICO they are going to get earnings and that is not the case you need to do your due diligence and see if the project actually has a chance to work, if you believe in the project then you can invest in it if you do not then forget about the project and look for something else.

True, there's a lot of ICOs out there. If you visit the altcoin place, people are all so busy promoting their coins. I believe that investing in ICOs come with risks and it's a high risk one. First, when you buy your coins with the ICO price. You might be shocked when the price of the coin stays below that price. I think it's even better to just wait for the bounty participants to dump the token and then buy at that price because it's a lot less than ICO price.

Another thing, if you invest in an ICO, you have to wait for months before you can see profits rolling in. I've been on various ICO bounty campaigns and I'm still holding the coins simply because I believe that at least one or two of them will skyrocket in the future.
This is another factor, many people think that after investing in an ICO, the next day the coin is going to be up 10 times and most of the time that is not the case you need to accept that your investment is going to have a lower price than what you bought and this can last for months and you even risk becoming a bagholder.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 19, 2017, 05:17:12 AM
Not really that bitcoin is better than gold, but many people says and also Bilgates says that bitcoin is compared to gold brecause of its price and value that is very high when you trade or transfer it to a money, bitcoin is very usable and easy to use unlike gold that you will cange it to a money before you use it,but in my research that says bitcoin is more usable or rather cryptocurrency.
i think different people have different people about bitcoin. for be bitcoin is too much better that gold in the sense that bitcoin can give us a good proft that is not possible from gold  but gold is also good in the sense that we can keep safe our assets for a long time.

I never considered gold as an investment object. This is a slow increase for me. I can earn hundreds of times more in a week of trading in crypto currency than when trading in gold
You can earn with gold certificates but you will probably need to leverage your position many times over in order to try to get any decent earnings, bitcoin is way better as an investment and as a trading vehicle by the incredible swings the market can make in a matter of hours compared to any other market in the world.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have $10 to invest? on: August 19, 2017, 05:13:35 AM
to me it does make sense to invest litlle money to see how you manage it, you will learn the risk behind your choice and you will not be burned like some people who start to invest every single money of their account and then lose everything in 2 months

10$ of investment would not really make sense if we want to get some profits on our investments since if we put some little money on certain sites there we can expect that we can gain a little also but if we can gamble that little money on tradings in gamblings well maybe we can get some chance to make it grow more bigger since their are certain jackpot situation will hit on gambling aswell on tradings where we can earn huge on big pumps.
I agree with this, even if the potential to earn big with cryptocurrencies is there and we can transform a small amount of money on a lot of money we still need a decent amount of capital 10 dollars is too  little, you will need to buy a coin that has a very low price probably below 5 cents of a a dollar and hope it pumps but even if it pumps 100 times you are only going to get 1000 dollars which is not much.
1347  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: August 19, 2017, 05:08:22 AM
This price is unlikely, but anything can happen. I now enough to conserve my funds and the current price. People don't realize that the price of bitcoin doesn't matter. What matters is the possibility of earning coins.
Yes right, the 50k price is too high and it seems hard to happen, I'm sure before reaching the 50k price, bitcoin is dead and abandoned user. But I'm sure the bitcoin price can reach 10k.

Maybe the price is too high for bitcoin to reach it. However, bitcoin price has proven to be very unpredictable and perhaps there is a chance that bitcoin can reach this price. Even other market analyst are saying more than $50K can be attained. I don't think that bitcoin will be dead if we ever touch this price. Getting bitcoin is very hard so its possible that we can reach this price in the future.
This is true, predictions of 50k not only comes from newbie members on the forum it comes from some respected analyst so we must think that even if it is not likely bitcoin is going to reach that price any time soon, that price is a possibility in the long term for bitcoin and that is why we need to hold as much as possible.
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2017, 05:03:31 AM
I think that the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is its instability. If I’m a merchant, I would be very wary of accepting Bitcoin as a payment. FOR EXAMPLE, if I received a bitcoin as a payment worth $100 now, I do not have any assurances that it will stay $100 the next day. I know that prices are volatile and that $100 can change into $1000. But what happens if I desperately needed that $100 at this certain time but its price dropped down to $50?
I do not think that is a real problem, most merchants do not store bitcoin for any significant amount of time, so that is not a real problem for them that is only a problem for people like us that hold bitcoin for months, years and for some people in the forum that are going to hold for decades.
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make ‘Buy Bitcoin’ Sign Appears Everywhere! on: August 19, 2017, 04:50:38 AM
Cool way to promote bitcoin but I think some people will get confused first when they see the sign because they dont know what it means. It can still work because people will get curious when they see the sign and maybe they will ask about bitcoin or do research. Its also good that they did it in the dots intl tournament bec the people there should be using bitcoin more.

Lets continue to promote bitcoin so that many others will start using it and bitcoin will grow in many other places.
I do not see how they can get confused it is just two words they know you are suggesting them to buy something, if they do not know what bitcoin is, they can use their smart phone to look what it is this bitcoin you are talking about and then decide if they want to do it.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin and ICOs on: August 18, 2017, 03:30:22 AM
Being relatively new to cryptocurrency in general, I am looking to begin investment in something a little smaller. I have researched a couple altcoin possibilities already, but, wanted to ask those on here, who have the experience, on their opinions with IOTA, ripple or any smaller altcoins/ICOs to get into?

Go for both IOTA and Ripple. They are gonna be flying if not late 2017, first quarter of 2018. I am trusting the team behind IOTA and Ripple. They are doing some great progress although the price of their coins will really take time to increase.

Isnt Ripple backed by Banks or Financial institutions?
I think you are correct but you must understand that for a lot of people that information is irrelevant the only thing they want is to get profits and when that is the only thing you can think about then Ripple seems like a good coin for those that are looking for profits.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: August 18, 2017, 02:49:49 AM
Specially I always trading Ethereum,Dogecoin & Litecoin.
it's my personal choice but you can try this may be you can feel better.Best of luck bro.
Those are some of the best coins to trade especially for those that do not want to take the risk with new coins with a low market cap, altcoins like that are very safe because at least you know that if at some point in time you fail your trade you can always recover your investment if you hold long enough.
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: August 18, 2017, 02:43:27 AM
Cryptocurrencies is a better than Fiat (currency) . The Bitcoins and other crypto Flactuating price while currency fiat money not so if you have 1$ this is 1$ forever  and in Bitcoins and other Altscurrency can make a 1 PCs of coins into 1$ or even 1,000$ or more.  And the biggest advantage of alts vs fiats is a becoming a millionaire even the 1 PCs of Altcoins. So think what'd is better the fiat money the remains on its value forever or a altcurrency that can make a 1 PCs of coins into a thousands dollar.
You forgot one thing, a dollar is always going to be a dollar, but a dollar in 20 years is not going to be able to buy as much as a dollar today and this is because of inflation so even if the nominal value of a dollar is the same what it can buy only goes down.
1353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Blows Past All Time High $3,000 Mark, Holders Rewarded on: August 17, 2017, 08:08:42 PM
It was bound to happen people keep asking about it, now that bitcoin is in new all time high do you think it will be too expensive for it to invest or is the price bearable in such that if you invest now you can expect a good return.
At the moment the price is simply too high unless you day trade there are not more profits to be had in the short term, I think the price could drop a little as traders prepare for the next big news and movement on bitcoin, for now I think the big movements on the market had ended.
1354  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: August 17, 2017, 08:05:02 PM
Basically yes. Trading isn't really a battle of who knows most of the indicators and what they mean but rather luck and patience to profit. Most of these successful traders are there at the right moment doing the right thing. If not, they would still be struggling to get greens ever day's end. It just so happen that luck favors them that's why they end up making more money than other traders.
We cannot completely explain the results that traders that get profits by just luck, they may get lucky once in a while but if they are successful after many years then the only thing we can say is that they are more skilled than other traders they have the talent to see when the trends are going to change.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: August 16, 2017, 05:38:45 PM
What do you think about LTC? Its price go up soon?
Is this time to buy LTC?
LTC is a solid coin there is no point in worrying about such a thing litecoin is going to give you profits in the long run, not many coins can say that so if you are comfortable with the price you can buy some LTC now and enjoy your profits later in the next months.
1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: World's Biggest AIR-DROP in History happening! on: August 16, 2017, 05:36:42 PM
How i can get some BCC.
If you want some BCC now, you have to purchase them from the exchanges. BCC was distributed to all those holding some amount of bitcoin in Exchanges supporting BCC. Users got the same amount of BCC as of BTC in thier exchanges. If you have some BTC before the hard fork, then you can perhaps get free BCC for it. Refer suitable threads for more help.
Correct, the option to get free BCH is only there for those that had bitcoin before the hard fork, if you did not then is is impossible to get an airdrop of BCH but you can go to an exchange and buy but I will warn against it, there is nothing that you can do with BCH at the moment except speculate with it.

1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It’s time to buy TIME on: August 12, 2017, 08:33:49 PM
This is all intended to create hype for this coin. There is really no pump actually. There is only price dump for TIME. The team behind the project are thinking they need to do something about the low price-turnout.
Yes I'm surprised to see no pump even when everything looks promising. The volume on bittrex is pretty low.
It will take time to see TIME recover, price is now below ICO and it has never been impressive from the start.
Maybe investors found new project similar to TIME and they put their money there.
We know that hype is very important and right now everyones attention is in bitcoin and bitcoin cash, not many people are looking at altcoins at the moment, after some time passes I think we could see the focus switching to altcoins once again and maybe the price will go up at that time.
1359  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: August 12, 2017, 08:27:00 PM
Try to check the ANN section of alternate currencies and look for the initial coin offering there that has the potential to develop exponentially in the market over the long run. There, invest your bitcoins. But be advised that before you spend or put your money into something, study everything about it first. Read as many reviews and feedback about the coin you're investing and if possible, question the team behind it. Ask them for escrow; their plans in their roadmap; their programs and strategies to secure the coin's future, etc. If they can answer every question you have, then decide for yourself if you want to invest in it or not. As I see it, ICOs are the best place to invest your bitcoins especially if you want a huge return on your investment.
Checking the ANN section is a a good advice but I have always thought that is kind of difficult to find anything there since there is so much activity there that is difficult to find what you are looking there sometimes I refresh the page and I see completely different threads than the ones I saw before and that can make difficult to follow your favorite ICOs.
1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2017, 08:24:20 PM
I think these are the disadvantages

1.Government cant control bitcoin so that many people consider it as illegal.
2.We cant use bitcoin everywhere because all shops doesnt accept bitcoin.
3.sometimes many exchange sites get hacked or scam so people stop using bitcoin.
Technically speaking neither of those are bitcoin disadvantages, your first point is just governments being greedy, the second is just the ignorance of people and their unwillingness to adopt bitcoin fast enough, and the third is the fault of private parties that give that service.
