Addresses should be used only once, that is how it was intended. Every time you receive Bitcoins and then click on the Receive tab in your wallet it will generate a new address. This is the best practice for your own safety and privacy. Using the same address allows third parties to connect that address to you.

I tend to overlook the Than and Then cases of misspelling. What I really don't like are the Your and You're mistakes.
As in: Your really good with grammar.

I have also seen There and Their being mixed.
Their is a big difference between Bitcoin and other Altcoins.
13404  Other / Meta / Re: Black screen when loading forum pages in chrome. on: February 12, 2019, 10:24:37 AM
Here is a post describing such a problem, it's quite old but might do the trick. Check it out and let us know.

Here's a fix for those of you dealing with the annoying chrome "black screen". This issue crops up for some when chrome doesn't properly refresh open tabs or when chrome sits in the background for some period of time. For me, I'd get a black screen in as little as two or three minutes of inactivity. The problem started when chrome updated itself a few months ago.

Anyway, here's the fix:

Go to chrome:// flags and scroll to Delegated Renderer (AKA bercompositor) then switch it from default to enabled

JSRAW I really don't think that theymos or the admins will consider putting shitposter tags or images of shit on a users profile and make a freak show of this place.
Something similar was discussed not long ago. It was about marking banned accounts. I am going to quote my reply and o_e_l_e_o's reply on my post because it is related to marking/tagging accounts.

Of course you have the right to decide for yourself but tagging those accounts with a banner/sign/whatever will influence the decision whether or not you should trust the posts and follow the guidelines in it because the user got banned.

Rhetorically, lets say you are searching the forum for topics related to charts, reading charts and trading advice. And you find a great thread that explains everything you need to know about what to look for in charts and how to be safe.
But the OP who wrote it got banned, and under his name there is a red banner that says BANNED! That banner will immediately influence your decision in trusting the information from his thread even though the information could be excellent. The OP can be a trading expert but also a user who plagiarised bounty content and got banned, therefore I think those two should be separated.

There have been a couple of "high profile" users who have been banned in the past due to plagiarism. There have also been accounts which have made good posts in the past which are hacked and used by bounty spammers, which are then banned for spamming or plagiarism. Pmalek makes a good point, and it's the same logic that means trust is not displayed on every board - your decision and attitude towards that post/user would absolutely be prejudiced by a notification saying they were banned.

Having said that, the main reason I would like to see a banned notification is so I don't waste time investigating posts I suspect of plagiarism if the user is already banned. An easy way, I think, to reconcile these two points is simply to only display the banned notification to users who have >1000/3000/5000/whatever good reports.

13406  Other / Meta / Re: [RU local] Make visible Trust of the user in the subsection HYIPs on: February 12, 2019, 09:52:36 AM
Could it be because some of these boards/subsections have just been recent additions?
The first thread in the Croatian marketplace dates back to 2016 so it has been around for some time already.
The trust ratings are still not visible there.

It's worth users checking their own local boards in order to see if ANY boards in the marketplaces sections are displaying trust or not.
I checked almost all and found that the Croatian is missing it. Wasn't able to check the Arabic and Chinese local forums but khaled0111 posted in my thread that the Arabic local doesn't have a marketplace.
13407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 12, 2019, 09:43:26 AM
Aaron Ramsey has issued a statement in which he confirms that he is leaving Arsenal after 11 years with the club and he announced that he is heading for Turin next season. That ends any potential speculations regarding his future. The reliable transfermarkt site has also updated Juventus as his destination starting from next season.

You should be able to do it with the Blockchain Wallet API.

Here is a quote from the link above.

Quote
Send Many Transactions
Send a transaction to multiple recipients in the same transaction.

$main_password Your Main Blockchain wallet password
$second_password Your second Blockchain Wallet password if double encryption is enabled.
$recipients Is a JSON Object using Bitcoin Addresses as keys and the amounts to send as values (See below).

Take a look at the picture below from their group. There you can see two posts from their admins acetyle and RJ. Notice the circled admin tag. That's how it should look. Those are official group admins and you need to make sure that your are talking to one of them. Many times scammers will contact you via PM claiming to be an admin but they are not. One of the unwritten rules is that admins don't PM people first. They also dont ask for passwords, private keys or any type of investments.
Pay attention also to the user names of the admins as scammers often try to replicate those, so in the case of acetyle someone might register with the name acestyle, upload the same profile picture and claim to be an admin.

Just click on the admin's username > Send Message in order to send a PM.

Yes it could be that your account is brand new and you have some sort of restrictions because of that.
From the link crairezx20 posted it says:

Not new to Facebook: To prevent fraud, accounts that have been created very recently can't access Marketplace. If you recently created your account, check back later to see if you have access.
https://www.facebook.com/help/www/972392066266648?helpref=popular_topics

It doesn't say how much you have to wait though.

EDIT: After a search it seems that many people are affected by this and even older account. Users complain they can no longer access the marketplace even though they were able to do so sometimes in the past.

I managed to find a tip how to get it to work from a phone, try it out and let us know:

So I found out how to access marketplace -

From my phone only, not a computer

-settings and privacy
-settings
- access your info
- marketplace
- click items sold or items bought
- click the following option

Now I can search the marketplace. Try it and see if it works for you.

13412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Half of all Phishing Sites Now Have the Padlock Sign on: February 11, 2019, 03:49:59 PM
The reason why Google banned crypto ads, was because they mostly impersonated legit sites and topped them in search results.
Not sure if it was mentioned before but it is sometimes very dangerous to trust the first result of a google search if it has the AD logo. Take a look at a random picture I found with the logo.

In the past, I've seen phishing sites of crypto exchanges being advertised this way that would be placed on top following a google search and below it came the official - legitimate site.

Are you a minor? It could be an age restriction, geographic restriction or some other type of restriction.

Have you tried opening the link while on a VPN? Maybe that will work.
13414  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HELP PLEASE - I can not LOG IN to Bitfinex ? Recovery email is encrypted ?? on: February 11, 2019, 03:18:27 PM
Try to contact one of their telegram admins directly through a PM. Make sure they have an admin tag next to their name.
And no, you should not need to make any deposit, that makes no sense and is probably a scam attempt.
This is their official telegram group - https://t.me/bfxtelegram

A quick search led me to find @acetyle and @kethfinex. They are both admins in their telegram group so contact them directly and see what they say.

13415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: getting bitcoin on: February 11, 2019, 03:09:06 PM
Since you are a newbie rank you can't join any signature campaigns right now, you need to get to Jr. Member status at least. Some campaigns accept Jr. Members but you need to make your own research as to the legitimacy of the projects. Your chances of joining a bitcoin campaign are pretty bad as they are reserved mostly for better ranked members and quality posters. But, you can try to find one that pays in an ERC-20 token.
13416  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos where is your merit sources? on: February 11, 2019, 02:53:52 PM
@Findingnemo what Jet Cash is saying is the following.
If there was no merit source to allocate merits to Users 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8... then Users 4,7,8 for example wouldn't have any merits to send to those top merit senders. You see, a member could receive merits from users who aren't merit sources but those merits originated from somewhere and most probably they came from a merit source sometimes in the past.

He was actually quite good last night. Also received a 7/10 rating by the Italian newspapers. Scored a goal and could have scored another header later on but was a bit unlucky. Glad to see him make a positive contribution.
Juventus needs to get Chiellini and Bonucci back asap, watching Caceres movement with the ball is like Russian Roulette.
13418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which are the fastest streaming services available? on: February 11, 2019, 09:58:22 AM
Are there any bitcoin and blockchain based sportsbooks that have a live streaming option? I think I heard that sportsbet.io is now offering a live streaming option but haven't actually tried it out.
13419  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Set minimum fee for bitcoind on: February 11, 2019, 09:48:29 AM
It is an older thread but you should be able to get the needed info from achow101's reply
If you want a faster transaction try this:

You should use the dynamic fee estimation feature of Bitcoin Core. When you go to send a transaction, there is an option at the bottom for "transaction fee" and a button labeled "Choose...". Click that and you will get a box with a bunch of information for setting the fee. Choose the radio button labeled "Recommended" and move the slider there all the way to the side labeled "Fast" (I think it is on the right, it may have been reversed). That will always set your transaction fee to be based upon what is currently happening on the network so that your transactions will have a (overly) sufficient fee.

There is one caveat though. You need to have Bitcoin Core running a for a while in order for it to gather enough data to properly estimate the fee. So you cannot just start Bitcoin Core and expect the fee estimator to work but rather keep Bitcoin Core running for a while before you send.
