13421  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Segwit Adoption. I looked at some data, and we are not there yet. on: October 19, 2020, 07:51:02 PM
Can you do one with only addresses that have been received over the past year?
I think this could be interesting as well. Probably a pie chart of all UTXO by address format since 2017 when the first segwit wallets were released.

I can't do with the data I used, but it is certainly easy to find. I think loycev made this data available in csv format here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246271.msg54373224#msg54373224
I think you're looking for this data. It's 112 GB (at 100 kB/s), and gives each address per block. That should be enough to create a graph with the number of addresses per type per day.
I still have the data, so I can extract some of it for you or give you a faster download, but it's still going to be a lot of data.

Note that the green addresses in your pie chart also include multisig.

how can verify multiple proof address on one time job
See gmaxwell's post Smiley
13423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 transactions to same person anonymously on: October 19, 2020, 04:39:30 PM
What is the best way I can send 2 transactions to the same person without them being able to see that both of them came from me?
What exactly are you trying to accomplish? If someone gave you a unique Bitcoin address, he'll know he only gave it to you, so he'll know any funds received came from you.
Or do you want him to think/know only one of the transactions came from you, and the second transaction has an unknown source?
13424  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: List of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance on: October 19, 2020, 04:05:01 PM
how do I remove extra characters?
You mean remove the balance? I just use cut. I got you 3 new files with only addresses.
13425  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Lauda still on DT? (taking requests!) Update: added Changelog! on: October 19, 2020, 03:13:39 PM
Are you guys sure?
It's official:
I will request that theymos ban the "Lauda" account (u=101872)
Done. Lauda is banned in the same way as satoshi, such that it isn't possible to even log into the account anymore.

I need a new topic title!
13426  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: October 19, 2020, 03:12:47 PM
Hopefully "the powers that be" properly lock that account so we don't have a repeat of what went down a couple of months ago...
See:
I will request that theymos ban the "Lauda" account (u=101872)
Done. Lauda is banned in the same way as satoshi, such that it isn't possible to even log into the account anymore.
13427  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 02:36:45 PM
The flag seems to be factually correct. If you deal with the "Lauda" account that means the account has been compromised and there is a high risk to be scammed.
In that case the same could apply to satoshi's account Wink
But since only Admin can regain access to the accounts, I don't worry about it.
13428  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 02:13:54 PM
There was a post of her where she said something like "You can call me Lauda or Laura or Laudie or Laurie", but I cant find it and I won't stay a month for searching between her 26431 posts lol.
TryNinja to the rescue:
I think this is a first, but please call me Laudie or Laura or Laurie if you're already being so cute to quickie. That is only fair. Tongue Kiss
13429  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: List of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance on: October 19, 2020, 11:54:21 AM
I have Windows, where do I need to set this command and what program to install?
I have no idea Tongue

So I got you this instead: http://alladdresses.loyce.club:20319/tmp/
It won't be updated, and it's scheduled to be deleted in 7 days.
13430  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Something shady going on with user LegendaryDR edit: EXTREMELY SHADY on: October 19, 2020, 11:29:56 AM
Have anyone looked this case?
I quickly looked into it, but gave up when I saw a bunch of Telegram screenshots. It's impossible to find out what's real, or even if they are who they say they are. Before I support a Flag I'd like to see clear, concise and convincing evidence.
13431  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: List of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance on: October 19, 2020, 10:11:37 AM
Hello, please divide the addresses into three groups
I won't add different file formats for specific uses (because of restrictions on disk space and server load).

You're free to do that yourself though, it's quite easy:
For all Bech32 addresses:
Code:
wget http://addresses.loyce.club/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_October_19_2020.tsv.gz -O - | gunzip | grep "^b" > Bech32_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_October_19_2020.tsv
Replace the "b" by "1" or "3" for other addresses, and adjust the file date for the latest version.

I'm glad to see this addresses subdomain consumes more data than the rest of loyce.club combined, that means it's being used Smiley
13432  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 10:01:46 AM
Given the elusive and eloquent nature in which we were provided information, it's hard to tell what is meant by compromised PGP keys. There could have been a larger than known data leak or something of that nature.

Why else would it be stated that none of the standard "proof of persona" we normally use are to be considered acceptable.
This is a mystery indeed. I could speculate, but it doesn't seem right after Lauda left already.
Apart from signed messages, there's always Lauda's distinct writing style Cheesy

unforeseen pressures in the shadows
Cats are always mysterious. I hope you're doing well. Take care, and goodbye Smiley

Edit: Flag created to avoid future scams. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2398
Since this is the Flag reference thread, I'll respond here: I've opposed the Flag.
I don't worry about future scams: the chance of the account getting compromised didn't increase. The risk could even be less than it was for instance a year ago, especially if theymos bans it as Lauda requested.

And there's this:
I don’t think that it is right, productive, or at all appropriate to place a big warning banner on all of Lauda’s old threads, such as the famous wallet thread and stickied rules threads (!).

I'll leave a neutral tag instead.
13434  Economy / Reputation / Re: Requesting account deletion, all posts all topics on: October 18, 2020, 05:30:31 PM
Don’t you make enough with that CM signature?
I'm flexible Cheesy

Damn, gotta be undercutting a guy like that.. I gotta eat too ya know..
But you're right, I'm raising my fee to 12Ksat/post Cheesy
Besides, I've archived his posts already, and those won't be deleted.
13435  Economy / Reputation / Re: Requesting account deletion, all posts all topics on: October 18, 2020, 04:53:20 PM
I’ll wipe your account and burn it for you for 10Ksat/post...
I can go as low as 12Ksat/post, but only if OP can provide a signed message from an old staked address first.

So the cat's gone? Or does the removal of the thread indicate a change of mind? Confusing.
Are you trying to understand a cat?
What they seem, things are not always.
13438  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Lauda still on DT? (taking requests!) Update: added Changelog! on: October 18, 2020, 02:00:03 PM
I could swear I saw Lauda asking to be banned... but the thread in now gone.
Confirmed Shocked

I had to consult TryNinja's site to get the original title: Goodbye, world!

But the post is removed now.
13439  Economy / Reputation / Re: In re #2312200 “Trade Runner” on: October 18, 2020, 09:12:02 AM
Trade Runner, while you are busy getting the forum deplatformed, why don’t you issue negative trust feedback to theymos?

I know that if I sincerely believed that this forum was being run as a criminal terrorist darkweb site, I would have the balls to tag theymos.
You don't need balls to tag theymos, I'm pretty sure he won't censor it, and he won't ban you for it. Several users have left him negative feedback already. Theymos believes in freedom of expression, and acts that way too.

Am I on DT again?  I haven’t been watching that.
Nope.
I made you this for future reference: loyce.club/Is...StillOnDT/nullius.html.
13440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [Oct 2020] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs! on: October 18, 2020, 08:54:21 AM
just before I needed to make a few transactions
If you made several transactions, you could probably have saved more on fees by adding paying all addresses within one transaction. Unless you have a reason (such as privacy and coin control) to make separate payments, you can reduce the total transaction size and thus the total fee by making one transaction.
Remember: each input adds a lot more to the transaction size than each output.
