I checked my wallet address and is the same one (exodus) I been using since I start it mining, nothing have change. this is the configuration I'm running on claymore.
POOL: eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999, WALLET: 0x97b10ccc19bf63c1e72333557ef7895f24723e26.rig1/gdljorgecrypto@outlook.com, PSW: x, WORKER: , ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 0
I got this configuration from nano pool, but still after a few hours my stats still not show in their website, am I missing anything in there?
I mine in Ethermine.org which is the same as Nanopool, you can try to switch to that pool just to see if things will change. Just change the address of the pool with the ethermine one. Maybe the reason is that nanopool is not synchronizing in time your worker stats, this have happened a few times also in Ethermine but lately I have been having no problems mining on ethermine. If the same happens then it must be some problem with your internet connection stability.

AMD cards mining are far away from being dead at all. The E3 in hashrate is the same as a six cards rig , some modified rx 570 or rx 580. Won't hurt much and won't increase the network difficulty a lot more than they have already done when being used by Bitmain themselves.
You can point AMD cards to other coins, there are not only ethash coins to be mined.

There is no reason to feel depressed. If the money you invested is something you can afford to "forget" for some time until the price of bitcoin rises again then you will feel normal and not depressed.
If you bought it at a much higher price there is still big hope for you to recover your investment, you just have to be patient. Last March2017 the price of Bitcoin was 950 dollars, this March ended near 7000 dollars so let's hope in March 2019 it will end up near 70000 dollars.

I see you are running the miner in Linux. What kind of Linux operating system do you have ? If it is HiveOS , the Claymore miner is already configured , you just have to change your ethereum address and start mining. Here is a good guide/tutorial for you to check and even if you are not in HiveOS you should switch to it. It recognized 12 AMD cards out of the box in Asus B250 Mining Expert motherboard. https://2miners.com/blog/hive-os-linux-mining-platform-review/You seem to have Nvidia Gtx 1060 3gb version as these cards are suffering from the dag epoch. You should try to mine Zcash and see if the same error happens. yes its hive OS and all was configured and fine for some time... now this BS and crazy thing is I have GTX 1060 6GB cards doesn't make sense this DAG error!!!??? ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) If you have the 6GB cards should not be affected by the dag epoch. Try to change to another coin for example to Musicoin which has low difficulty and see if the same happens. Here is what you need to put as a mining pool configuration, in the place where it says Musicoin address, put yours. You can get one from Cryptopia just to try mining as Cryptopia exchange doesn't let you mine to your deposit address but just for testing purposes. EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool musicoin.nomnom.technology:9999 -ewal Musicoinaddress -epsw x -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 It can also be possible an outdated driver of your video cards is causing the Dag epoch error. Update to latest version.

If it stuck in the synchronisation process it means you already have the seed. You can check in another computer in your possession by restoring from the seed.
What you can try next is to download the latest version which will overwrite automatically over your version if you have an old one and restart electrum. If your internet connection is good then it should be no problem for electrum to start normally.

Monero needs another fork again in 4 weeks just to cure the disease properly. As said already, Bitmain is probably already well on the way for V7.
SUMOKOIN has now forked to their new heavy version. Their hash rate is down to 10-20%
That is why as because some of the rigs of my colleagues at work who are using winminer with RX 580 GB 8GB have switched to Sumocoin making about 1.40 dollars per card per day going back to nice profitability. It will be a welcome change for the Monero fork if that will bring difficulty down, probably the RX 580 people will switch back to Monero.

I want mining, sir/ maam can I ask want apps can I use to mine bitcoin to make money? because aside on the good specification of computers that I needs I think I need also to familiarize to many software that are use to mine bitcoin.
If you have a strong performance PC which from your statement I believe you have or will have in the near future , the solution for you is simple. I see you don't have any mining experience so software that do everything automatically for you where you only need a bitcoin wallet are the best for you. You can try, Winminer, Nicehash or Computta. They are self explaining software easy to setup and start mining. Don't bother with cloud mining and watching a few videos on youtube about what you want to realise is always a good idea.

Ok thank you, it appears it is a misunderstanding of mine about how a mining pool works. With 853 ghs I understand it would be worthless to do solo mining so I will continue with pool mining.
I thought each block mined by me in a mining pool was mine but know I understand that is a misconception and that everyone who participates there is paid on shares found. Thank you for clarifying me.

Bitcoin is helping so many unemployed people around the world actually. I know few friends generating their full income from trading Bitcoin online, since few months, and if you search online you will find many similar stories about unemployed and poor people getting full income from working with Bitcoin nowadays.
This is more true and it is more common in poor countries. In these poor countries the people who had an account from 2014 and up in the forum and were loyal here, now they are earning good money if they are in a signature campaign. Many other people are using other forms like using faucet rotators, working for bitcoin in freelancer websites but all these persons have one thing in common. They are all benefiting from bitcoin and bitcoin maybe will never eliminate unemployment but will surely help many people lives in the future.

I am mining Musicoin at Nomnom mining pool but within 4 days I have found 4 blocks with 110 Mhs hash power which this pool pays 300 coins for a block. In total mining in this pool so far I have done is 877 coins.
How can I do solo mining for Musicoin if this is possible? It appears this pool haven't paid me the blocks found by me but rather shared them with other people or I am missing something here. Couldn't find more information in the nomnom website that is why I am asking here.

Hi there. I meant like this
You use lastpass or keepass. You store all your passwords there such as gmail, banking and any other site. Thus only thing you need to remember is your password or master password. Now if you log into lastpass or keepass, then say you store your seed in that wallet. Now when you log into say dropbox or say gmail, then go to your google drive account, upload their lastpass or keepass file into it... and the lastpass or keepass is encrypted since you cannot open it without the password, that is safe or not? Because assuming you don't encrypt the lastpass or keepass file, by that you mean encrypt it, then its not safe? Thus someone could read the lastpass or keepass file?
Well you have a copy of lastpass or keepass in your computer and most likely a usb stick or external hard drive. So when you say why would you upload a copy to your email or dropbox etc, well its a digital copy in case something happens to your laptop or usb stick or external hard drive. Thus if you lost all these items, you could still log into your dropbox or gmail and then open your lastpass or keepass as long as you remember the password for both. So that is bad idea? Again im not talking about you typing out your seed in gmail and then sending it to yourself and anyone who hack your password can read it. That would be a very bad idea etc.
It is still a bad practice, as long as you are relying on a third party to hold your seed, in this case keepass or lastpass. Both are good password managers but that is all, they don't do wonders. The true purpose of the hardware wallet is to do every transaction from the built in chip of this wallet without leaving it so you don't get hacked even if your computer have a thousand viruses. You need to set it up as first time use in a Linux envorinment to be 100% safe. Then you have to keep your 24 words seed in the letter that comes with your wallet, or in a paper and put it in your personal cabinet or drawer at your home. If you happen to have more than 50 bitcoins you can store your seed in a bank deposit small safe box. This is the best practice of how to keep a seed of a hardware wallet.

Claymore miner is the best, you have do some configuration first but you can download it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=638915.0And for a first configuration and help file check the website which learns you to mine ethereum. ethermine.orgClick the get started tab and learn for yourself, if you can't , watch some youtube videos for Claymore configuration but since even 12 years old have configured it I doubt you will have difficulties. For wallet for ethereum there is myetherwallet.com web wallet and not recommended and exodus.io a desktop wallet with better security.

The answer to this is short. A big NO. The reason is because they through your browser are using your processor power to mine cryptonight coins and they pay you way less than if you do mine for yourself with your processor. There is also another risk, they can inject malware through javascript using your browser, so stop using it if you are already doing so.

Gpu mining cannot be killed that easily. Bitmain maybe mining Ethereum but for the gpu miners there are a lot of other coins which are based on Ethereum like Pirl, Music and a few others. Their difficulty is relatively low to mine and I am happily mining Musicoin because my 3GB Gpus cannot write the dag epoch 179 which is the actual one.
As for bitmain first thing to do if you want to fight them is to stop buying their products, but this will never happen since they produce the best miners for the moment.

I have lived in Saudi Arabia for 2 years because of my work. I know that they abide by the Sharia Law which is their constitution. Many knowledgeable people in religion which there are called "ulemma" have spoken against bitcoin.
This is not their fault though, the fault is to those who have explained wrong bitcoin to them. They have told that bitcoin has no real value and only gold or silver have value to keep your investments in. I think that the reason to ban bitcoin is because it can facilitate illegal trades or illegal things, this is most common with fiat currency, so only ignorance can forbid Bitcoin in Islam.
In Islam itself bitcoin which is a form of money is allowed otherwise they the Saudis should stop operating all banks there as they are operating with foreign currency which can also be used to facilitate illegal trades or things.

It is just a correction in the price, volatility is very common and is what defines bitcoin as a currency. Credit card companies haven't stopped anyone to buy crypto, they only put a "somewhat law" that you should buy from well known vendors.
As far as I know Coinmama supports buying crypto with credit card and everyone can use their service to buy crypto. Their fees are high but that is another topic.
JP Morgan Chase and BOA (in the usa) do not allow crypto purchases with credit cards. If you go to CoinBase and try to buy BTC with one of their credit cards, it will get denied. Not that I think anyone should be buying crypto on high interest credit, but just wanted to clear that up. That is why internet is great. Coinmama is not based in US so you can buy there through internet and through your credit card. What I want to point out that banks stopping payment with credit cards is not a reason why crypto is or will be dead. Buying crypto with credit card is good, if you buy the dip it is the easiest way for you to make a profit.
