Quickseller 01/23/2015 I have regained control of my account and changed my password. IJ4TzVvuWEQ9mkaOxzRemakqUK6tueBQTUd4ktJAP/2SBfDM+ffYTjBGxcyOE/Yc+NN+6TdkJClACRZGHdnbYAw= Verified, however it looks like the hacker was able to scam Bitcoin_BOy$ for .048 BTC. You would need to repay him to his satisfaction (especially considering your account was "hacked" under very suspicious conditions). I will not as I was not the one who scammed. My apologies to anyone I affected, however if it was not me that scammed, I do not feel responsible to repay. Especially if it's only like $10. I would not be able to remove my negative trust as a result. Anyone could simply claim "hack" anytime they take out a loan. Like I said, the timing of you being able to recover the account is very suspicious, plus the fact that you claim the hacker did not change the password, however according to the security log, you reset your password via email (how would you know the password was not changed, yet were not able to log in with your password?). I will later tonight as I am on my iPhone right now.
Just curious, how did you regain control of your account from an iPhone? Don't you have to sign a message for that? Or didn't the hacker change the password? Hacker didn't change the password. I was able to log in with the same password as the hacker never changed it. I only noticed something weird was going on after my gmail blew up with 20 notifications about PMs for loans. That still does not explain the fact that you reset our password via email. What do you mean? I see someone had my password so I reset it so I can change it. You don't need to reset your password to change it. You change it on profile -> Account Related Settings.
I find it hard to believe that someone would be able to determine your actual password and would not change your password/email.

I also wouldn't say they are all neural third parties to this dispute.
Most of the negatives are from people who have relied on questionable (to say it nicely) evidence against him. A good number of the feedback ratings also stipulate that they are willing to remove their feedback at a later date if/when they see evidence that shows WC is not creating his art with lasers.
I am personally on the fence as to if he is actually lying or not. I do think there is a lot of damming evidence against him, however there is also evidence in his favor. I would say at the very least it is not clear cut that he is scamming.

Why would he leave feedback on his own account? There are a couple members here who have several accounts. Just seen you updated your post. So you're not claiming that is quickseller's account? Hello All , tacoman71 just pm'd me that he want a loan from me 0.048 and after 5 min quicksellers send him negg trust saying that the account is hacked , i don't think so I think quicksellers is the owner of tacoman71 because he got a lot of accounts Undecided
I'm not sure he is for quickseller The drop in value between the amount you sent him and the drop in value as a result of the negative trust the account now has is much more then the amount scammed. I received a similar PM, but asking for a lot more then .05 (he asked me for .5 BTC). I asked him for a signed message to prove ownership and was unable to provide one. I then proceeded to add neutral trust to his account to warn others. Upon him admitting to having his account hacked, I added negative trust to his account. This is why you should make all loans public and require signed messages whenever you are considering lending to someone without collateral.
I highly doubt that the account was actually hacked. Unless the hacker hacked the account, waited 30 days for the password change to drop off the security log, tried to scam then the real owner resets his password via email within minutes of him posting in lending.
If you sent money to him then please post the TXID(s) txid : f3d484d52078b098f6021cf2c240ceb7d31f7bdfff995410ccdfe7a45348b610 I controll all my wallet and can signed every message with them to proove i sent him all my btc I have updated my trust to reflect that he scammed you. I would consider it his responsibility to repay any loans (or at least settle them) if his account gets hacked. Although i somewhat doubt he will care enough to repair his reputation as he has not been active for a loan time.

Wow bitcointalk.org was down. Just reading over this thread and found that the message from my partners alt saying that he did it got deleted...
What your partner said did not reduce that fact that you are responsible. As I mentioned to you via PM, it was your fault for giving moreia access to the private keys to the wallet that contained customer/investor funds Again, I did it Btw, he didn't give me access, I gave myself access. I never intended on scamming, other situations played a role in my decisions... NextPonzi had potential, but the potential wasn't large enough to deal with my problems outside of the interwebz I'm still waiting on that scam detector report sir! I look forward to you exposing "my" identity to the world of bitcointalk The other situation that played a role in you scamming was your over 9 BTC loss at bitdice. You probably ended up loosing money at some other casino. Incorrect it was a 5.6 loss not a 9BTC loss. Assume what you may "Mr Detective" your total loss at the account in question at bitdice is >9btc. Wrong, mr detective My statistics on that specific account at the time of deposit was -2.5btc My deposit was 5.6~ BTC My total profit down after loss is -8~ This is not to mention all of my Alts who are in sure profit, which come to more than 8btc As well as all of my pd accounts which are all 0.01 - 3BTC in profit each thanks to the donators @ NextPonzi If you say so.

I can vouch that tomatocage is very fair. If you have a valid arguement then he will remove his rating. If you are refusing escrow then you are 99.9% scamming (there is a very small chance you are not but I doubt it). Even the most trusted members of the forum are willing to use escrow.
Your trade with caution is likely permanent due to your attempt to purchase negative trust.

it is 200+ maybe 201, maybe 230, who knows I don't know, offer please. it isn't any of those. If it has 200+ activity and 600+ posts then it either has 210, 224 or 238 activity. It is probably best to leave it at that.

All collateral should be held by a trusted third party.

Is anyone willing to compile a list of how much money WoodCollector has earned with his frauds so far?
Bonus points and recognition as a hero if you correlate BTC amounts to exchange rate on the day of the posting.
With his fraud? Thats easy 0 dollars and 0 cents. Total sales via the forum or with bitcoin. I know they are over $150,000 at minimum. Barley 20-25% of his work for the forum is published, i saw a bunch of them on skype yesterday. 2 forum members that i know of were granted the privilege to come to his gallery in NYC as they live there and wanted to check it out and buy with bitcoin. That number is going to increase soon as i am intent on winning the auction for the "fuck nubbins" piece he is making in his videos. Dont care if it costs me $5,000 its going to be hung above my toilet in the master bathroom. And a bunch of the guys on the skype feed yesterday ordred some stuff too. Why do you want to know? checking to see if you have had any impact on his business here? I can answer that for you, you have had a tremendous impact on his sales here. I think at least $30,000 of that $150,000 i know of for sure came from yesterdays skype feed. Even though your a moron you have made him now famous online as well, like a marketing genius you are. At this rate, he will probably break 500k by the time the snow melts. I know i have a few more pieces i want to have made. It was my impression that most of his sales were based in fiat so I would find it strange that all of a sudden he is accepting all these orders from people via bitcoin and that this many people have enough bitcoin to purchase this much art from him. I am sure that someone could go through all the transactions with apparent vanity addresses to verify/refute your claims. However I do find it unlikely that people would still be willing to buy his art on here while all this is going on.
|
|
|
Can you provide txid's for any of these transactions?
for what he just sold Sorry Quickseller, i'n not sure which ones your asking for. The transactions back on the 30th when he paid me? or the TXID's for the things he has sold?

i think he already has done this. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=868954You just need to click on each of the threads he linked to find the selling prices

I would disagree. He obviously does have some level of taint because he has received money from WC before but the transaction in question has nothing to do with this allegation, he was paid to remove posts several weeks ago, not to stick up for WC nor to spread misinformation.
A scammer is essentially someone who has stolen money. If you say "scammers must hang" then you are saying it would be appropriate for them to get the death penalty for stealing witch could not be farther from an appropriate punishment. I do not like scammers either and I think that someone who has scammed should obviously not be trusted in the future and anyone considering doing business with them in the future should take steps to protect themselves.
I would say a more appropiate punishment for scammers is jail and/or community service (eg taking steps to make the community a better place).

Unfortunately, the drama comes into play when knowledgeable people spot an obvious rotten fish stink, and rubes don't listen to what they're told. About thirty pages of fucking bullshit so far, trying to wipe one single shit smear out of this forum so that honest people can do business.
Well I dont understand why you left negative feedback on terrahasher. He was paid several weeks before this accusacation came to light. I can't say with certainty but I would say the information he is withholding probably relates to WC's real life identity. The rating he left you *may* have some level of merit as you do appear to be in a similar business (if your claim turned out to be incorrect then it would be more true). Tech share (who has traded on here honestly for a long time says that it is not possible to tell if a laser was used by looking at pictures on a computer
