So overall, this is a per coin auction?
So even if someone bids for all 20 at say $1 and I bid $1.10, I would win?

Well whatever it is,

1 @ 0.1BTC  or (20 @ 2BTC)

Thank you Smiley

with 20 @ 2 BTC you will bid for 20 coins 2 BTC each = 40 BTC  Shocked

Aww man.... I am just a bit "what what?"
I got confused on the wording.
Cancel that 20@2  and guess already outbid on the 0.1BTC..... oh well. next time Cheesy

Thanks Smiley

You are still in the race with 1 @ 0.1 BTC Grin

1371  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 🌟 [DENARIUM] | Next Generation Physical Bitcoins | (IN STOCK) 🌟 on: October 19, 2015, 07:15:33 PM
I received the Denarium coins last weekend and they are awesome. 1 unfunded and 1 funded of 1/10 and 1/100. Very well packed in a little carton box. Each coin has a certificate. The great thing is the way you have to active the coins: click on the link from an email from Denarium you have received, enter code from the email and the code which is on a card in the box. If you have funded coins they will get funded very fast after activation.

I am looking forward to the new coins!  Grin

ErikvanBreen- Will speak to a few people who have been involved in escrow and try and sort something out - I'll PM you with an exact price - probably around 3.6btc for a 1 & 2?

wttbs- Coins are made from a brass alloy with different finishes (except the 10/ 20 btc coins which are solid silver)- recently added some details to a this thread if you want some more details:

Very interesting if I could buy some with BTC for a nice price  Grin this way you save the bank fee.

1374  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [IDEA] Mechanic Cold Storage/Wallet on: October 15, 2015, 07:35:42 AM
The picture of what you are going for looks insanely awesome... but what would be the dimensions of something like this, and what you are trying to create?  Would it be the size to fit into a safety deposit box, or the size of a safe?

It shouldn't be too big so you can store it in a safe place like a normal safe or safety deposit box.

What I try to create is cold storage device complete made of metal and glass. This way you have no worries materials like paper, foil or plastic will perish. For example, a paper with a private key on it behind a hologram sticker could perish over time, if the enviroment is moist or the paper or ink is bad quality.

Also the user can setup it him/herself, the private key and address, no third party will see or know about the codes this way. So long as you create your address/private key in a safe way (on computer disconnected from internet) you will have a very level of security.

Hmmm, at first it reminded me of Cryptosteel, but the picture changed everything. It looks amazing and I would love to buy something like this, but the price tag will is too much for my taste.

The price is what I trouble with. I am "afraid" that when we use premium material and build several (mechanical) security feature in it, price will get high... also depends on the dimensions of the safe. Bigger dimension means more material. Smaller dimension means smaller parts which are more expnesive to make...

Just look at the Kialare which is made of many fine engineered parts, very high quality, price is fair for what you get. My device will have hopefuly the same quality but has 100x more parts in it  Tongue
1378  Bitcoin / Project Development / [IDEA] Mechanic Cold Storage/Wallet on: October 14, 2015, 05:03:30 PM
I have this idea in my head wondering around for years about a mechanic cold storage/wallet device. The device is build of metals (steel, alumium, brass, copper, silver and maybe some gold or platinum) and glass, no electronics, plastic or paper. As long as it is not stolen or burns in a fire for several hours it should last for many many year (100+). You can setup the device all by your self by hand, your own public and private address so nobody, no even the maker of the device has ever seen or know address or private key. It can be used for any crypto coin as long as it supports a mini private key format (30 characters).

It should be your "life saving" device, set it up, place it in a safe or nice place and when you have some BTC for example you want to save/secure transfer it the address you gave the device and you can check balance on line any time. It is not intended to do transfers with but saving/secure storage for long term.

The design and style is going to be somewhat modern-punk-steam SAFE and has several cool security feature (one of them is something like a Cryptex). They will be of high quality build and materials and each device will have an unique serial number. An extra idea is to make accessories to "pimp" your device to make it even more unique. Besides storage of the address and privatekey there can be an option to store several of your physical coins (like Casascius, Leleana, etc).

I am working on some small drawings now and have an idea who can make the device (2 manufacturers/undustrial designers and 2 artists). But before I going to spend many hours on this project I was wandering if there is interest in such a device. It's going to be expensive but also very collectable and valuable, sales price maybe between $500 - $1500  Shocked

Please let me know what you think of my idea and if it can be a success. Any suggestion, feedback, idea is very welcome.

The picture below inspired me, but it's going to look different:
