Man muss meiner Meinung nach übrigens nicht alles am Bitcoin verstehen um es zu nutzen. Ist ja beim Euro auch so. Die wenigsten werden verstehen was hinter SEPA steckt und wie das funktioniert und trotzdem wird es täglich millonenfach genutzt.

@Lincoln, besten Dank. Ich überlege weniger wie ich meine Bitcoins anlege, als inwiefern sie geldgleich sind. Bei Geld denken ja viele Menschen eher an Rendite und Zins als an sichere Aufbewahrung. Und dass Zins nicht funktionieren soll, scheint mir ein extrem langfristiges Argument.
Den Gedankengang/Annahme verstehe ich nicht. Geld= Rendite und Zins? Das heißt der Euro hat seine Eigenschaft ,,Geld'' in einer Niedrigzinsphase verloren? hmmm ... nein, Geld ist Geld, ich habe gesagt, woran die meisten Menschen denken, wenn sie Geld hören/sagen. Beispielsweise: Es ist schade (oder gut), dass es jetzt wenig bis gar keinen ZINS gibt. Das heisst sie denken auch an Zins, wenn es gar keinen Zins mehr gibt. Deshalb funktioniert Geld-Denken bei Bitcoin nicht so richtig, oder? Ich habe Deine Links angeschaut, sehr interessant! Da ist aber wenig von "seriösen" Banken und viel von Scharlatanen die Rede. Bitcoin ist etwas radikal neues, sodass man durchaus umdenken muss. Wie zum Beispiel, dass man selbstverantwortlich für seine Bitcoins ist aber dafür auch jederzeit Zugriff darauf hat. Was beim Euro nicht immer der Fall ist (siehe Griechenland oder Zypern). Wenn man von der Kutsche zum Automobil umsteigt kann man auch nicht davon ausgehen, dass alles so bleibt wie man es gewohnt ist. Aber wie Mezzo schon sagte, verhält sich Bitcoin wie Bargeld. Hast du denn überhaupt schon einmal Bitcoin selbst ausprobiert? Eine Wallet angelegt? Eine Überweisung getätigt bzw. damit etwas gekauft? |

noch eine Anfängerfrage:
Kann man Bitcoins irgendwo gegen Zins anlegen, also auf eine Art Bankkonto bringen?
Oder gibt es andere Arten von Darlehen? Kann ich Bitcoins als Darlehen aufnehmen?
Die Menge aller Bitcoins ist auf 21*10^6 beschränkt, sodass das mit dem Zins nicht langfristig funktionieren kann. Bei Bitcoin bist DU selbst deine Bank. Du verwaltest deine Bitcoins auf deinem wallet, sodass du dich auch selbst um eine sichere Aufbewahrung kümmern musst sobald der Betrag für dich nicht mehr vernachlässigbar ist. Kurzfristig Dahrlehnen sind trotzdem durchaus möglich. I get that there were issues, but shipping them was a bad move. They should have refused them from the mint and had them re-struck. I was excited to see some loaded coins for sale as I am bored with DIY coins. I was really hoping for another solid player like Titan selling nice loaded coins. I hate to be negative, but I was pretty let down here.
I think that is just one of the issues here from an outside perspective. BOLDED. First off, I haven't really followed this thread only until recently. And I have to say that Denarium did deliver a product which is better than scammers like Coinographic. But... What is disappointing is that the term "mint" is being thrown around when from what I gather the company "minting" the coins was not in fact an actual mint (not their main focus as a business). Please correct me if I am wrong. Which is a bad move from a quality stand point. Was the impression initially from customers that the "mint" was an actual mint or was it disclosed that they were a metal working company of some kind? The coin was advertised as collectors item and premium product. A metal working company was mentioned when quality complains from customers came up. |

Hallo Leute, habe nach der Anleitung hier: https://github.com/OpenBazaar/OpenBazaar-Server/wiki/Raspberry-Pi-Install-Raspbian Openbazaar für testzwecke auf einem RPi als Server installiert. Hat soweit auch funktioniert und als nächstest habe ich unter Windows Openbazaar als Client eingerichtet. Danach konnte ich wunderbar über den Client auf den Server zugreifen. Leider musste ich dann mal den Client Computer neustarten und als ich dann wieder Openbazaar öffnen wollte kam nur der Ladebildschirm und sonst passiert nichts mehr. Weiss einer von euch vielleicht woran das liegen könnte? Im Debug log werden ständig neue Einträge hinterlegt also der Server scheint zu laufen. gestartet habe ich den Server per ssh mit: python openbazaard.py start -d -a 0.0.0.0 |

Not 100% sure but the capsule fits not that tight and the package looked unopend. Why would customs leave the capsule open anyway?

Well, I liked the the design of the coin very much so I particpated in the auction but I am disappointed by the overall handling through Denarium. During the shipping process the top of the coin capsule came off so that the coin got moved around inside the parcel a lot which didn't improve the surface of the coin. Additionally to scratches there is now some really tiny red fluff from the enclosed cloth on the coin and I have no idea how to remove it.  I asked for compensation since more than a month but didn't get a real answer because they want to handle all of the requests in one go in order to reduce the workload. So to summarize: - late delivery
- Instead of A9 I received A14
- bad communication regarding issues like the +5 Sticker problem
- Coins got cleaned to "impove" quality
- promising a premium coin product without using a proper mint so the quality can't keep up imho
- bad packaging so coin surface got even worse
- no compensation in an appropriate amount of time were offered (waited more than a month)
0.57 btc is imho to much of a premium for this coin so I will ask for a refund today. |

Und, wer weiß, vielleicht kommt der Tag, an dem Bitcoin als Zahlungsmittel von weiten Teilen der Gesellschaft anerkannt und genutzt wird. Der Europäische Gerichtshof hat im vergangenen September schon vorgelegt und entschieden, dass der Umtausch von Bitcoin in staatliche Währungen wie den Euro von der Umsatzsteuer befreit bleiben muss.
Eine solche Gleichstellung hält Steuerrechts-Professorin Ehrke-Rabel für gefährlich. Denn würden künftig viele Menschen mit Bitcoin bezahlen (für Hotelübernachtungen, Taxifahrten und Einkäufe aller Art) entstünde eine Parallelwirtschaft, die der staatlichen Kontrolle vollends entzogen wäre. Ohja dieses Szenario ist ein echter Albtraum! Nicht auszudenken!  |

Laut https://bitnodes.21.co/ ist Deutschland auf Platz 2 bei der Anzahl an Bitcoin Netzwerkknoten ist. Erstaunlich, dass in Südamerika und Afrika dagegen so gar nichts los ist in der Richtung. In Russland wird man wahrscheinlich in ein Gulag gesteckt falls herauskommt, dass man einen Bitcoin Node zuhause betreibt... |

Update war auch hier erfolgreich:) Habe jetzt ähnliche Werte in der config stehen: maxmempool=650
maxconnections=30
minrelaytxfee=0.00002
limitfreerelay=5 Aber seit 0.12 bleibt die Anzahl an Verbindungen so im Bereich 14-18 auch wenn man zum Beispiel als Maximum 28 eingegeben hat. Weiss jemand woran das liegen könnte? Bis Version 0.11 wurde die maximale Verbindungsanzahl recht gut ausgenutzt. |

That's correct, only 20 units were available. Due to the limited supply, the attractiveness of a metal TREZOR and it being a 1st edition, I think the price is more than reasonable. 2011 Casascius coins only sold for 1 BTC a piece, yet can demand up to 5 BTC. This is a rare collectors item at a reasonable price. I think comparing a trezor to a casascius is a bit ambitious. To be honest with you, they are on entirely different wavelengths. If one of the posts above was correct by saying that these were sold at $999 a piece, then a small premium would be understandable. However, doubling the price is a quite a big premium. Nonetheless, it's still a cool item to have. Just my 2 satoshi. Best of luck with the sale! My point being that it is a collectors item from BTC's history. I don't intend to get x5 the face value like a Casascius coin, because I agree they would demand a higher premium. The price I am asking is not even x2 the original price... Well, Casascius didn't sell the Coins for face value either. So for example silver single from 2013 were sold for 2 BTC (+ shipping). |
