1362  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon2 based miner from Technobit - HEX16A2 on: January 28, 2014, 05:49:32 PM
Hello

I have 7 HEX16A2 Connected to MR3020
is it possible to configure a pool per HEX16A2?

blitzwilli
You need to run seven instances of cgminer limiting each one to one board HEXc is the driver abbreviation + seven different cog miner con figs
The other option is to run them at once one instance with load-balance and add 4 pools manually to miner.sh preferable option

This is where we got
8 chips setup @ 800 Mhz

Super taking into account two buggy chips this is exactly where it should be Smiley

Nice! Cannot wait for my orders to dispatch 10th Feb Tongue

How hot are these things running? Did you have to those horrible 4500RPM fans to get 8x chips cooled?

How common are the bad chips? You might need to sell a B grade slower stock if this is typical.
Yeah but as far as i know none from chips suppliers is not giving discount for grade b chips still Cry Except BFL Grin
I think that these two were damaged during development Grin

It's going to an issue as boards have fewer chips, and chips have more GH, customers are going to notice a duff chip and complain they didn't get the GH they paid for. Having a graded product price solves this issue.
true but if you happen to have 1/8 under performing chips on arrival there is no way to test them the chance to have a board without under performing chip is low. Do you think it is feasable to solder/unsolder the chips one buy one or to give a discount for the whole batch?
I do not

However real/production chips should be tested in advance that issue is nonexistent ....And let us do not forget it is prototype and guys are constantly changing something

screen capture software
Super taking into account two buggy chips this is exactly where it should be Smiley There are two chips (2, and Cool with 30% performance
If all chips were good it should be around 200 GH which makes about 790 MHs per chip core (32 cores in one chip)
Brilliant result Marto Cheesy
1366  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: January 28, 2014, 05:32:23 AM

Morning, if can you tell me reported speed with nanos?
It should be back to normal. No more dupes also the chip1 should be ok of hexa2 Wink

Morning too loshia  Grin
Yes, nanos speed back to normal  Cheesy But i can not run it along with other in TL-MR3020, one nano hash rate become low after few minute. Maybe hub issue  Cheesy

Yup, no more dupe & chip1 is hashing normally  Grin

Super we will get back to nanos when there is a time for that.nano code is very aggressive and that is the main reason it to break
I do have two nanos + 5 hexa on single tplink and never had an issue there
1367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: January 28, 2014, 04:37:15 AM
TPLINK TL-MR3020 flashed with latest image that support HEX8A1

Guys what is the best way to clean the thermal paste without wasting too much time?
I just received 6 out of the 9 I ordered and just opened one of them = thermal paste all over the place.

Also for some reason the driver didn't ask for any money. Maybe when they deliver the remaining 3 he will ask?

The PSUs are coming tomorrow  Angry
Do not pay attention to it. Most probably it is non conductive. It is not good for the boards, but you can ignore it and move on with mining  Smiley
1369  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: January 26, 2014, 03:00:34 PM
Can't wait to test new patch for cgminer 3.11.0  Smiley
Tomorrow  Wink

Nice  Grin

are the dupes on chip 1 (or 0) fixed with that? Cheesy
Yeas and a lot more fixes and speed ups Wink
1370  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: January 26, 2014, 02:59:31 PM
.......

Well, I tried both PCIe Ports and also CPU 4 Pin, but one board is still running at ~15GH.
In order to be sure, I tried the board alone, same situation as with all 3 boards.

I will try to get my hands on a second PSU, maybe it will help.
Thanks anyway Smiley

Marto, any clue?

Edit: I tried with an extra PSU (16A) just for this one board, same result

Sound like faulty 4 chips but not so sure. If only your TL-MR3020 not bricked, you can check each chip status in cgminer api log.

Is there any way I can check that in Hex Miner? Or am I going to have to spin up a Linux VM?

Does this speed indicate that I've got two dead chips?:

Not rally. But if yo wanna know exactly you have to do it under Linux Chimner-API stats is counting nonces returned from each chip individually
I will suggest you to buy a tplink it will pay of just from electricity savings Wink

Is there any open source pcb for this?

HEELPPPPPPP I need one also Grin
Because I have super secret 65 Nm chips and I do not have Pcb for them also Grin
Comon guys share some free info with papamoi so I can by it from him  Grin

After fail in a price negotiation with Bitmain, someone here starts to troll.  It is sad that he cannot stop our customers keep buying Antminer and getting their investment back, and cannot push up the difficulty by his worthless words.

And his "big thing" in the thin air will just not push the difficulty up as easy as he trolls. Bitmain does big things in mining industry, and we know it is not easy to make it so big.

Last hours of sales before Chinese New Year.

It is not only you sir. I will stop trolling about your price I do not like it. But I like the way you treat your customers and as you can see this still works. But it will not last long
Good luck to you and watch yor horses during new year Wink

Кво и е на цената бре. В Ebay са по 1800-2000 паунда, а 1.9BTC са под 1000.
Тия, дето смятат да копаят с тях да му мислят  Grin
Ти си знаеш работата. Бих те помолил да си ги пуснеш играчките на отделен акаунт, така че да си следиш 100 % какво добиваш и като изкараш това което си дал да драснеш тука или на пм. Тя това и е на цената

Really kicking myself for not ordering a third, wonder what the price will be after the New Year ...
20% less I guess if it is adjusted to at least 20% diff increase. That is just a guess

Neither and it shouldn't matter to you since this is the first time I've seen your user name here. I made some changes to a how to guide and I was expecting some kind of thanks if I stumbled across something. If he really wanted help he'd have git hub open for reports and have a cleaner post.

The pipe error is new so I mentioned it. I help where I can and grump when I need it Roll Eyes. Your making more mess responding to my entire post.

Have a nice e day and hope cK Olivias still see's what I posted.
%there is nothing wrong to expect something in return for time and efforts but as far as understand you are asking for it.so please take my apology I might get it wrong.
It is not my first time posting here
Besides in change log and source there is a word about pipe errors and no more lib USB resets if I remember correctly Wink

Can't stop the trolls unfortunately, they are either angry, frustrated or paid by other companies to try and derail the competitors thread. Sad

My miner is stuck in Mumbai, not your fault, and appreciate the offer of a coupon, any chance we could get them on our account in time to order another miner?
He has no competitors dude as long he is making the chip. No one  can beat him. That is called monopoly

Doh, his competitors are chipmakers.
Yeah a wished to be one of them but I am not. Despite of the price this is best customer service here for sure. I can stand my words.

Bitmain send/ships me a used, dusty, old, and broken miners.  I ordered an Antminer S1,  it arrived DOA yesterday.  The boards have a 2013-12-01 date stamp on them. I removed the fan and it has more dust than my vacuum cleaner...
Sure he is seeking his old crap that is clear from day one. Are you surprised?
I am not. This stuff is mining for mounts and you are still buying overpriced because there is small light in then end of the tunnel thayou may roi eventualy

When i purchase, the photo look spanking new.  Never did it mention the words "used, old, or previously owned."  But then again, it never say new.  Guess live and learn...
Excuse me I did not see that you are new here. Read other threads firsts. And you got lucky choosing bitman without irony

I am new here but not new to mining.  I have a few KNC Jupiters running at the moment
