Miners...it's time to start pressing for trade.
And can someone confirm POS?
Yes, I've gotten PoS payments on my Pennies, 1%. Made my CPU work like a mule though, have since reserved= my balance to make the PiggyBank a tad less CPU intensive. Ok, i haven't seen one yet, or is it because most of my mining is on the pool now? Coin age must be 7 days, which I believe means they can't be transferred in that amount of time whatsoever. Mine tried to start making a PoS block on day 9 (not sure why) it started out with 4 tx's listed as 0 coins, which then turned in to 4 tx's worth .25%, for a total of 1% of my overall wallet after 3-4 days. I know they were stake payments as actually took my available balance and stuck it in the "Savings interest" section while it did it, and the tx's said "Staked coins, blah blah blah." The big thing was the CPU usage, it was a dead giveaway it was trying to mint a PoS, though how many days it took is blurry as I don't look at the PC with my pennies wallet on it daily. So the only way is to solo if it's POS? have you used the GPU miner with any success to solo? oh yeah, and is the Nfactor ever gonna go down?

Wait.... So, this coin has zero value. But then someone gives you a million coins that also have no value, and your coin still has zero value. Then some of those coins go on to rise in value, which raises the value of your coin. You then sell the underlying coins (the ones staked to you)...
NO... every coin is worthless until it is given trade value, essentially instead of having 20+ untradable coins that clearly won't have a market, you buy into a coin that has better chances of being traded.

I recently got freed of my obligations to Noirbits, so i now have all the time i need. However as time has had an effect on things, i'll be tweaking a few of the finer points, note that there are a lot of exchanges that have come to light recently and they all love cryptos...

Any chance of that third market idea we floated earlier?

very true, most ASIC plans are still on paper, but consider how the first investors got almost a year's worth of mining on BTC while others waited for their orders.
Say i get a 500mh prototype, with a six month lead on commercial production. looking at today's prices and difficulties, that would be quite the handicap.

With altcoins gaining more popularity since the advent of the ASIC, is it worthwhile to still buy g/cards like say 50 x 7950s? or would the money be better served 1) Trading alts or 2) Investing in these scrypt ASICs developers. is the chance of having an overwhelming amount of power in maybe a year worth more than having medium power now for a year, then later standing in line?

I'll sell them @ 0.005 BTC each or the equivalent in LTC or WDC.
