1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [MainNet Stage] Cocos-BCX‘s First Batch of 38 Ecosystem Buidlers & Angels List on: April 11, 2020, 11:11:55 AM
This is really what the team has achieved in a short time, and I have to say that this will be one of the best startups at the moment.
I mean it will be a good investment

I don't know what is really possible but this topic make me suspicious. Every member commenting on Topic is newbie! And the quality of all answers is similar. Is this normal in your opinion?

now this is a worthwhile project and the prospect can be huge
I don't really understand what stage of development the project is at and what's next for us
are there any publications about the project in the media ?
and where can I find information about this?

How can I join the angel community, and how can I help this project?
I think now is a good time to develop startups

the project raised a lot of money in the early stages and I think the team is able to do something worthwhile and popular !
thank you for the announcement
I could test how to operate the crypto game now ?
it is one of the best startups this year
so I am interested in buying coins shortly

It is still absorbing what the team offers for token holders!
this is very important for me as an investor, and I would like to invest in this project for the long term

... and goes on...
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Black List Gambling platform. on: April 11, 2020, 10:57:42 AM
Good day, everyone, I would you to make more aware of the gambling platform also to the newbies. Recently I give the list to the gambling platform I recently visited, [List of Gambling platforms]. These lists will direct you to the review of the gambling websites.

Thank you, but what criteria have you taken as basis for this blacklist. So why should we consider this list valid? I think it would be a healthier reference if you explain them one by one with their evidence.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 11, 2020, 09:55:50 AM
This problem is a major problem worldwide. It is a big problem for the people who cannot work at the moment, especially in countries with an underdeveloped economy. While countries with developing economies constantly announce aid packages for people with this situation; those with a poor economy are experiencing difficulties in this regard.

In every country, regardless of the field in which it works, all the basic needs of everyone whose workplaces have been closed must be met. Otherwise, huge problems can be seen. Many workplaces have been closed in my country as well, and no significant assistance has been made to date.

As our friend in this topic mentioned, workers working at casinos need to be paid as much as they can meet their basic needs. I think the UN should make a statement on this issue.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitstarz stealing money again and accuse people of being criminal.... on: April 10, 2020, 11:58:36 AM
As a habit, I definitely search every website that I have been dealing with money since the past. I especially read the complaints about it. Because complaints give an idea about most issues. Because some complaints actually show that the platform may be justified. In this case, if you had researched this website here or elsewhere before using it, you would not have encountered such problems.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 09, 2020, 08:19:32 PM
Usually for me i dont keep records because im kinda lazy it would be good if gambling sites has there logs but there are no ways to track your gambling expenses or investment in these kind of platforms unless you make a memo in notepad or a piece of paper. It would be a great feature, if gambling sites add this kind of history log for your bets just like in Trading where you can view your bought position and selling position.

In my opinion, if you are interested in gambling, it is very important that you keep a record and constantly monitor your situation. These records make it easier to make logical decisions, not emotional ones. If you do not keep logs, you can always make bad decisions with the desire to win more.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible Effects of Coronavirus on the Crypto Industry on: April 09, 2020, 08:15:26 PM
Nothing gets that easily legalized in the world, look at weed for example, it has been illegal in many countries and still is illegal in many nations but nowadays there are a lot more nations who are actually making it legal, USA was one of the nations who had "war on drugs" that spent literally billions of dollars, maybe close to a trillion dollars to this day, and weed has won, it is more and more legal in every state, since federally they do not have a law that can stop the states, states will continue to legalize it by the day.

Crypto is just at the start and we are already supported by some countries, in one or two decades we will be supported by all the major and minor nations except just a handful few maybe.

I don't think the situation we are in now is about being legal. Many states put everything aside and focused on the solution of the disease. What has officially become the world's # 1 problem is the Corona virus itself.

I don't think states think of cryptocurrencies in this environment. Therefore, I do not think there is a problem with legality. But we can see that there are not big changes in people's preferences yet. People still rely on FIAT coins and gold.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto get inspiration about developing Bitcoins? on: April 09, 2020, 07:32:34 PM
There were a number of other attempts that were not as successful as bitcoin. The most well known of these is perhaps DigiCash. DigiCash, created by David Chaum, was an important undertaking for the 1990s. Even before DigiCash, Chaum had an initiative called Ecash. Satoshi overshadowed them with a completely revolutionary blockchain invention.

Meanwhile, D. Chaum is currently working on several projects on Blockchain. You can find the details if you search.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Satoshi theory? Deceased or alive & well on: April 08, 2020, 09:08:08 PM
Its not a person but a collective of people who all worked on the project. They used Satoshi Nakamoto as a pseudonym due to the perceived threat of govt retaliation

or its just your neighbor  Wink

Who said that to you? Where is your proof?
There is a saying in my culture: There is no secret that two people know. If Satoshi were pseudonym used for a community, as you said, definitely one or a few people would have disclosed this secret so far. However, I cannot tell you exactly about Satoshi's identity. Perhaps as you really say, a community can be a group.

1370  Local / Türkçe (Turkish) / Re: Bitcoin için kendini kanıtlama fırsatı mı? on: April 04, 2020, 07:21:52 PM

1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 04, 2020, 07:16:19 PM
do you registerhow much you separate for gambling?
do you see it as an investment?

if yes, how do you track it?
simples spreadsheets, physical notebooks or maybe some different way?

There is a notebook that I follow this work. I write how much money I put on one side and how much money I made on the other. While doing this, I definitely write the value of that day as BTC and ETH. There is a critical rate for me in this process: 50%

If my earnings have exceeded 50% of the main currency, I will definitely attract it to my wallet. If my loss reaches 50%, I definitely take a few weeks break.
1372  Other / Archival / Re: How to play online poker legally from Netherlands, is this even possible? on: April 04, 2020, 11:10:49 AM
I live in Turkey, where betting and gambling, including online ones bans all platforms. (Of course, everyone is trying to break these bans.) Of course, accountability is important. Care should be taken before using any other than decentralized ones. Is there such a ban in the Netherlands? If there is no prohibition or restriction on gambling, I think those who are online can also be used.
Still, I am sure there is someone who gives more detailed information on this subject and who knows the Dutch legal status.
1373  Economy / Economics / Re: What N America and Europe need to start on now! on: April 04, 2020, 11:05:33 AM
March was only the beginning.

Maybe!

Perhaps on the contrary, April may be the beginning of the recovery period. Nobody believed that things would grow that big in January. Until the middle of March, the WHO did not take the situation seriously until the last stage. A treatment method to be found can start putting things back on track. Nobody can say that the effects of this bad times will not last for a while, but recovery will begin gradually.
1374  Economy / Economics / Re: What N America and Europe need to start on now! on: April 04, 2020, 09:10:56 AM
They should increase their focus more on building a vaccine or something to make the pandemic go away a little faster, second is that they should build a system that helps in preventingthe further spread and contractiong of the virus, and lastly, I think that the government should strategize on how will they create a fund stimulation that will benefit especially the poor.

The vaccine is on the way to finish, and many countries are trying to find the vaccine, but the process will not happen fast. There are many things to be tested before the vaccine can be given to the patient, and I think that will need some months before they can get it. Healing the people who infected and searching the other infected people and isolate is an important thing right now before the virus spreads to more people. So after the government knows who is the infected people, and they can quarantine that person to get cured, the government will think about the other way.

Experts say that a fully effective vaccine is not possible for at least 1-1.5 years. In this case, a drug that fights the disease should be found more urgently than disease prevention. But more importantly, in this process, studies should be done globally for production models that will sustain the world economy. I think our primary need is basic food and health supplies. First of all, if we can act together in this area, then we will have no problem with hunger and insufficient health services.

If we can make progress on issues such as joint laboratory studies, sharing information, joint steps can be taken for both treatments and needs. In this, people who are competent in health of each country can be brought together. Since the source of this problem is now the common problem of the whole world, it is obvious that more people will be hurt unless they act together.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 03, 2020, 03:49:45 PM
In my opinion, both the premier league and all other leagues can be delayed completely this year. Next year, all leagues can be played together earlier or together with a compressed fixture. In this process, league cups can be canceled for 1 year in order to make the fixture more comfortable.

Again, in my opinion, UEFA competitions can be played compressed one after the other at the beginning of next season. To speed up the process, all matches can be played in a city. Of course, all these assumptions are possible if there is a solution for Corona virus until this summer.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 02, 2020, 04:05:41 PM

Yes, gambling is almost likely to day trading because it is only few people that are succeed day trading because it was very risky to do that and it need a deep knowledge onto it
and needs a lot of effort to fully understand the day trading.
Gambling and day trading are both risky because it is not 100% sure that you win it.

I don't think it's the right approach. In day trading, the risk is low if it is continuously followed by the agenda, developments and graphs. Especially as online time increases, the risk decreases. But gambling is largely dependent on luck. The risk is therefore slightly higher.

In day-trading, gain-loss ratios can be limited within a certain framework by using tools such as stop loss, stop buy and OCO. But in gambling, the psychological effect is very important. A momentary error can lead to huge losses.
There are some key differences between day trading and gambling however I do not agree when you say that day trading is a low risk activity, by far the most difficult and risky way to trade is day trading, you need to watch the markets all the time and you need to have a way to deal with the extreme changes that happen in the market in a matter of minutes and that is not something your average trader can do as it requires to have a very clear idea of what you are doing and why and it also requires the ability to apply that knowledge in the blink of an eye.

I agree and I already said same thing in my post.

Quote
the risk is low if it is continuously followed by the agenda, developments and graphs
So I think we are talking same think with different words.

1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert Kiyosaki believes in Bitcoin on: April 02, 2020, 11:14:25 AM
Not only that, there are many people and businessmen who believe in Bitcoin. In my opinion, Tesla's CEO Elon Musk believes in Bitcoin and crypto money, but does not express it clearly. Even the most recent Bill Gates said he had changed his mind.
Unfortunately, we cannot reach a place with only these views. For us, larger-scale developments that will affect daily life
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are there any ACTUAL compelling theories Satoshi could have been a time traveler on: April 01, 2020, 05:53:04 PM
The search for Satoshi won't stop anytime soon. Humans are naturally curious especially when it's about something they can't explain. We would see even more theories soon. Don't worry.

But why? Why are they looking for him? Just curiousity?
I think the reason they called Satoshi is not what they couldn't explain. People seem to call me because they admire people like this. For some reason, I think of comments written to famous people on Instagram. They may be thinking the same in Satoshi.
