Lancia's first car adopting a monocoque chassis – the Lambda produced from 1922 to 1931 - featured 'Sliding Pillar' independent front suspension that incorporated the spring and hydraulic damper into a single unit (a feature that would be employed in subsequent Lancia's, up to the Appia that was replaced in 1963). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monocoque Deperdussin Monocoque, with wooden shell construction

This sentence is way over the top. Life sentence without parole?
There's no hope.
Yeah, and just yesterday they gave a pedophile here 7 years probation - with no fine - and Ulbricht gets life in federal with no parole. Well, at least the US isn't supporting countries that have their wealthy men purchase virgins from ISIS, then sent them afire while alive if they don't perform what's requested. Oh wait...

If they're going to give him life they should just kill him. He's young, he could potentially live another 50 years in prison. At $30k per year to house a federal prisoner, that judge just cost the taxpayers $1,500,000.00. I hope something bad happens to that judge for wasting all that money. Not critical bad but bad, like tonight I hope he has a really painful bowel movement that ruptures a hemorrhoid.
The judge was a woman, so if she had any children, then the hemorrhoid option is definitely in play. Note to self: If I get arrested first for echoing QA's sentiment, don't make the authorities aware that my pseudo partner in crime is bald. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Yeah was it 15 or 25-life? No way he got life without parole that is just insanity! I mean he had a damn website he wasn't out molesting and killing people.
I have a thread about the African American Mormon named Curtis Clark Green who had his death faked by two rogue FBI agents at Ross' request if that counts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1045937.0. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=62129Name: bigasic Posts: 1176 Activity: 714 Position: Hero Member Date Registered: July 14, 2012, 08:11:07 PM Last Active: May 25, 2015, 11:07:18 PM
I'm taken aback that Curtis isn't here to speak against his former employer.

Does the Moolah scammer count? I don't think he's been caught and sentenced yet for the Bitcoins he stole but he might have a court order against him for something. I haven't heard anything since he went on the run.
I'm not sure what his real name is because he changed it a number of times.
We'll reserve this thread for only users who've been sentence and are pending litigation oppose to merely tagged as scammers. Feel free to list any persons arrested whom have a user account on this forum even if said account is only of their entity's name. I've add their particulars to the "Pending" section in the OP.

bcp19, do you work for Butterfly Labs ?
Yep, started there last Sept, it was bound to come out at some point. PG can confirm it. Beyond that, a lot of nibbknot's statement is completely false. Full disclosure: I ONLY read the title of this thread.
I stumbled upon this thread while literally having a cigarette in hard and a cup of coffee at the ready (taking a sip now) while sitting on my porcelain god, soon to send a message to the underworld via the flush thingy.

Interesting. I hadn't seen this video or videos like this before, but it does make sense that this could be caused by the transformers. Though I haven't personally heard them make this noise.
I heard them when I was a kid waiting for the bus on cold winter mornings in rural Indiana. There were them tall wooden pole electrical lines with thick cables with a transformer on one of them the next house over. If the wires weren't singing, the transformer was humming. Taxing my memory, I recall both happening at the same time. Unless the conditions are just right, I don't if one would hear such noises in the middle of the woods at least a mile away from any power lines or major power sources.
|
|
|
What they are? I have read lost of info about them happening all around the world.
Every time I'm heard them, I've pinpointed the source to electric wires and/or transformers humming. Check out the video and others like it and you'll clearly see wires. In one scene you see an el (electric train) overhead. I was shoveling snow at four in the morning this past winter and heard the noise coming from the wires on the poles at the road. From a distance, I heard transformers popping.
