1381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SPECTIV VIRTUAL REALITY + DECENTRALIZED ADTECH | SUCCESSFUL PRESALE on: November 07, 2017, 10:17:21 PM
This one actually seems a very god project. It has a purpose.
I suppose that there will be all the option one is used to see in regular internet marketing nowadays, targeting and different rates for different webs ( based on their popularity) ?

1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever invested in an ICO? on: November 07, 2017, 08:59:32 PM
And do they have a future in general?

I think regulation can be good...right now just seems like there are so many (potential) scams.

TO be honest , there are several good projects in my mind but the system of bonuses at the start for big investors make them non profitable after the ico is done and the coins are dumped.

The only one project for me to invest as investor in long run would be GRID+, they are real they dont even mes around with the bounty and I ike that.
1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: November 07, 2017, 08:51:59 PM
What is there to convey rue here?Failing to remember the past is preferable to starting from the current.

I was a believer since 15 months ago but I regret puling out my money 2 months after I invested because I needed the money. At the time the price was 450$. Incredible and I was IN . THis is regret. Right now I dont have the same belief that it go x10 or x20 from current 7k$ level.
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: November 07, 2017, 08:24:58 PM
I have almost forgotten about this peace of news .
BTC managed just fine the hype and hysteria was much worse than actual impact.

And also do not forget that that we are not completely without China, we are without China only officially , they are just bypassing the law.
1385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin in a bubble right now? on: November 07, 2017, 08:19:56 PM
It is a bubble, off-course it is a bubble what else than it is?
People buy to make profit  in long term or short term. There will be time when it bursts but it does not mean that it will crush and burn, it will go to level where long term investors and believers are.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 07, 2017, 08:15:22 PM
Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

I have learned that the best strategy for " big" alts is to take 5-10% profits rather than get greedy and get burned.
But for relative long time investments I think that it would be wise to make sell order in range where you have some profit.

It depends on entry level , because of nature of btc stock market  often sell order is bad if your entry level is close to sell order.
1387  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you had 10k Would you buy Bitcoin before the fork or after? on: November 07, 2017, 08:09:12 PM
I'm not sure what I would do because no one knows which coin will be the winner. We have BTC BHC BTG ... more to come

however, if i had 10k, i would sign up to plus500, place a buy order when bitcoin hit's 6k and rake in $1000's profit while its going back up.

Why ta plus500? There are a lot good pure crypto traders..

At the moment I think that  a good buy level is ~ 7k and it would be wise to buy there because of I think that it will hit again 7600 and +. And you are getting free new btc coins and after the fork the price will decrease but not dramatically because most of the investors are not in for fork
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: November 07, 2017, 01:35:59 AM

Instead of wait Ebay accept the cryptocurrency, I think wait the best services seller online is Amazon will be better. To be honest, I like to using Amazon to order from other countries than Ebay, because Amazon services can guarantee the product I bought better than Ebay

I do not believe that Ebay will actually use some block-chain other than for marketing . Which could mean something like PayPal allowing to change bitcoin to fiat and than paying with high commissions.
Overall I like Amazon more they are more dedicated and more innovating company. But in my mind they have so many problems, it is incredible. The shipping time ( as a seller) cant be changed to real one, they have some kind of crazy algorithm. This is just one example. Do not want to go off-topic too much.

Anyway I can see Amazon in coming years doing something with block chain. I think the stability of crypto is not a argument since you can buy and sell at current price.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Energy Based Projects on: November 07, 2017, 01:18:18 AM

Still as I keep saying: While you can sell electricity to the grid in most countries, you’re effectively becoming a freelance power generator for the power company; you’d still be unable to implant one of these systems since it’s not your grid, and this thread was about creating a decentralized grid using one of the systems being developed for just that.

Its not true. Actually the situation now in EU at least in some EU countries is that GRID is being used by multiple companies. They sell their energy to customers and yes they pay some amount to grid company but the amount is actually very small. But this is normal, someone has to sustain the grid, we need it!
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 500k $ [BOUNTY][ICO] INS ECOSYSTEM - Connecting Consumers and Grocery Manufactur on: November 06, 2017, 10:17:01 PM
Hello!
I have a question and i hope someone will shed light on this matter.

Until now i have participate only in twitter bounty where one do not need to repost their tweets.
So now i am researching and noticed that people are posting links with their re tweets which are linked to the ICO's tweet not on their actual re-tweet, WHY IS THAT?

I understand that this is newbie question but I am new on this kind of Twitter bounty.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO October 28th] MOIRAI - Decentralised Prediction Market | MVP on: November 06, 2017, 09:56:13 PM
I looked at his project and cant seem  to understand how is it different then other the same type projects..
There is https://cindicator.com/ and others who are successfully finished with their ico and have a working project , this seems just a copycat.

Maybe they will have a better marketing thus better outcome, this is my only guess.
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] FidentiaX - Exchange With Confidence - Bounty Program on: November 06, 2017, 09:10:49 PM
I participated in your social media campaigns , can't find any rules to do weekly reports here.

@TS do we need to post weekly reports, tried to backread every queries but they got no answer if they need to do weekly report.
Thanks . Cause if it's necessary then I will do it though it's not on the rules.

YES, THIS IS MY QUESTION ALSO!

I do not see any rules regarding some kind of rules for twitter report.

Do we have to post twitter links here?
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN ICO eSports.com - ERT eSports Reward Token - eSports Community Portal on: November 06, 2017, 08:52:42 PM
Although the idea is nothing very unique, I think  that they have a big potential an if they make good enough marketing campaign , they may just blow up because in this are there still is room for ICOs.
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of news? on: November 05, 2017, 11:45:29 PM
Right now I am down to Coin Market App, good app, collects news from multiple sources in to one. Does not have annoying pop ups.

Some people suggests that ANN thread for new projects is good. Al tough I often go there, I do not consider it a very good place for news, because old projects are mashed up with new and it is not that transparent.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Energy Based Projects on: November 05, 2017, 09:31:28 PM
Grid+ is going to be huge (ICO ongoing right now). They're actually getting into the hardware market, using smart meters combined with modern electric storage technology to dynamically buy/sell from the grid so as to optimize household energy costs.

Plus the GRID token can be exchanged for 500kw (roughly $35) worth of electricity. For people with their smart meters, that's huge... and they're selling GRID for roughly $0.10 in the ICO to incentivize mass adoption. Not only is this probably the first legit energy sector ICO, it's far and away the best.

Finally, they're part of ConsenSYS, which effectively guarantees they're legit.

This is the most excited I've been about an ICO for a very long time.

At last got some time to look in to GRID+.
And it is possibly the BEST PROJECT what i have seen so far!

Do they have a bounty?
I suppose this of good project do not need them.

I am seriously thinking about investing.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][ODMC] ODMCoin [02|10—31|10] Oil and Gas sector on: November 05, 2017, 09:15:49 PM
This project is interesting but i have not yet convinced about its legality.
If you have working technology , how come you do not have video of working prototype'? Or you do not have one?

If you have this big contract with big company is there any news articles about that r any other proof?
But more importantly the firs question.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Energy Based Projects on: November 05, 2017, 09:05:40 PM
The first investment blockchain-option in the world the Oil and Gas sector
http://www.cryptosmile.com/2017/09/odmcoin-first-investment-blockchain-option-in-the-oil-and-gas-sector.html

Actually this is not as bad and trivial as one could expect. it is NOT about oil and gas production but rather than about reprocessing oil waste.
Al-tough I like the idea, I do not trust them at least , not now. They say that they have working technology and contract. This means that they should have had a team and company before this ICO , I do not see the proof.

It’s possible to sell power to the grid here in the US, and I can imagine it’s possible in most all countries; but that doesn’t make it a decentralized grid, it just makes you one of the power company’s freelance suppliers.

In order to implant one of these systems you’d need your own physical grid uncontrolled by any power company, which is probably the biggest roadblock of any plans to build a decentralized power grid.

What systems  you mean?  It seems that you are talking about Absolutely autonomous grid of house holds. This is not the point nor this is possible since  most of the population lives in big apartment buildings and nor it is needed since grid is usefull in scenario where you can give energy to those who needs it when you dont. And if you think of batteries,, they are vey, very expensive thing to have if you want to be autonomous.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: November 01, 2017, 11:09:54 PM
Right now this could be a good example. I could tell that bitcoin when compared to an animal is like an eagle while paypal could be the snake. So we already know what would happen when they faced off. Bitcoin is being used around the world and it surpass paypal's daily transaction by 2000% There's no competition at all.

2000% seems such a random number for me. Where did you even get that number? Even when let's say bitcoin ever surpass Paypal's number of transactions per day, it's totally possible that some people are accidentally boosting this number because of the automated pay outs and cash outs on different bitcoin paying websites. Last time I checked, Paypal has got a lot more number of transactions per day compared to bitcoins. I bet it's because all of the major online shops like Amazon and eBay are accepting Paypal while bitcoin is left out. All credit/debit cards can be connected to a Paypal account so most people are using it. While bitcoin, well you have to buy it from the exchanges and most people are afraid to do that. Paypal is just a lot more intuitive or newbie friendly than bitcoin. But today, the population of bitcoin are increasing more and more and people are trying their best to learn about bitcoin because bitcoin allows you to earn money online. I mean, who doesn't want an extra income?

You have some solid points especially about PayPal and Ebay. This bums me out since if you had problems with PP, you dont have a way to use Ebay anymore because EBay is exclusive to PayPal even if they are not one company any more. Why the hell they do not diversify , maybe they have a secret agreement . I do not think that Ebay will go for block-chain  ant time soon, they seem as very old fashioned and do not like innovation.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty][Ended] Centra - Multi-Blockchain Worldwide Debit Card & Insured Wallet on: November 01, 2017, 10:52:35 PM
Guys, I think its too early to shout out about scam. If you wont receive the bounty in the time frame of 8 weeks, you will have a legitimate reason to do so.

I think that they have a lot of things to do now, show to people that they have working product and when they do, the price will rise and you wil get more out of your tokens.
https://medium.com/@Centra/centrember-centra-techs-big-november-84a77eacbf78

If you wait 10 years they also will not paid, last time scam manager post 48 hours to paid but nothing, you still say this is not scam, please face the truth that centra is scam project

They paid my signature tokens.
What about 10 years?
Have 8 weeks passed, which was the initial statement? If no, than you have no real grounds to squeak.
1400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks $6,500 on: November 01, 2017, 10:45:34 PM
It was not a surprise for me also, my predictions is that we will see 10k in next 6 month. And in my mind I think it will be the breaking point and a lot of investors will decide to withdraw at this limit. The drop of other major currencies is not so surprising also if we think that some people tend to withdraw their assets and put them in btc now.
