Yes, I've noticed this slight collapse by the Storm over the last few weeks while this is the fifth week in a row the Sharks have won. The top of this page shows last week's loss to the Sea Eagles. I missed the first half but saw a couple of missed opportunities by Melbourne. Their last minute try was more to save face but even then the Sharks had also scored late in the game to cement their win.

$2.11 odds made the win all that much better. 😁

I'm thinking the Knights Vs Rabbitohs game will be entertaining as will the Broncos Vs the Dragons.

An absence of leadership ≠ proof of leadership.
1383  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is it trust system abuse to increase trust score by Dabs? on: July 07, 2022, 02:58:22 AM
From recollection, I haven't had anything to do with Dabs in the past.  I saw a previous thread raising this issue of supposed mutual trust back scratching - call it what you like...  This time with the issue again being raised, I thought I'll have a look both at Dabs (via their own signature and the threads they have created in the past) and those who have benefited from mutual trust feedback.

Early threads created by Dabs have a combination of topics - e.g. group buys, loan requests and attempts to start (multiple) casinos are prominent.

Is Dabs still an Escrow?  Their Escrow thread fizzles out in 2018 along with positive trust feedback reviews around the same time.  How active in the forum are these givers of positive trust feedback?  If they are not every active they *may* be unaware their positives are being tut-tutted...  (which in turn lends itself to the premise that Dabs is bosting them to in turn boost himself)

Interesting that SolarisDev announce Dabs as their Escrow for an airdrop, however, on the website for the Solaris Coin Dabs is listed as an "Ambassador" and I can't find a clarification of the roll Dabs has within Solaris Coin's thread/website.

Also interesting that cabalsim13 came to Dabs on the 19th of March 2019 with a proposal to re-invigorate Dab's Charity food program by neco-bumping Dab's already three year stale charity thread.

Six days later the thread Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope To Everyone! was created (and the rest as they say is history  Roll Eyes ).

Less than six months after that Dabs is now the one asking for food to feed their family in their own charity food program thread.

Of those who have been inactive for more than 999 days, there are two subsets:

These users are bumped to DT2 solely by Dabs - most of these users only trust feedback is to Dabs.

You must have read my mind - this is the first time all week I've been able to sit down and have a look at this week's fixtures.

I'm going with the Sharks, Rabbitohs, the Eels (the Eels can't possibly stuff it up again - could they??) and I'm going to say an upset with the Dragons over the Broncos.

Cronulla Sharks - Melbourne Storm Money Line Cronulla Sharks @ 2.11 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.211 mBTC
Newcastle Knights - South Sydney Rabbitohs Money Line South Sydney Rabbitohs @ 1.50 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.15 mBTC
Wests Tigers - Parramatta Eels Money Line Parramatta Eels @ 1.21 Taken Amount: 0.06 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.073 mBTC
Brisbane Broncos - St George/Illawarra Dragons Money Line St George/Illawarra Dragons @ 2.32 Taken Amount: 0.08 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.186 mBTC

Good luck to everyone putting bets on.

Perhaps now might be the time to lock this thread, or, if you are planning to keep the thread open, at least change the title to read "closed" or similar?
1386  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk IV (2022 Q3) [MODERATED] on: July 06, 2022, 03:08:22 AM
Digging and tagging personal alt accounts that have not violated the forum rules is an incorrect use of the DT system; the goal of this thread is to catch cheating alts who have violated the forum rules and tag them, not to go out searching alts. Some members prefer to keep their alts anonymous for various reasons. It makes no sense to force it to the main account via neutral tagging. Hope you understand?
Just my little cent.

Well, I've been an active participant since the beginning and the intention has always been to identify alts firstly.  As a secondary thing, should they be scammers, they get the Red Paint TM.

I've got no problem with your participation as it identifies scammers and they are tagged accordingly which I for one appreciate greatly.
1387  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk IV (2022 Q3) [MODERATED] on: July 05, 2022, 07:06:51 AM
...
You did not include Miscellaneous so what are we dealing with here? What are these accounts involved in? You missed the important part of your report. Remember having multiple accounts is allowed

@igehhh that's entirely true (having multiple alts).  However, from day one in the Mk I version of these threads, the whole point of these investigations is to identify alts.  The fact that *most* alts are scammers (and warrant being marked as such) is just par for the course.

@rojan - thanks for your report - I'm sure if you were to dig a little deeper, you might uncover other alts, or instances where the wallets (or twitter accounts etc) have been part of scams.

In any event a *neutral* message on their trust feedback page will advise others, months (or even years) from now that one or both are alts.

Am I reading this correctly?

The OP is asking for a loan in bitcoin and then later is offering bitcoin as collateral?

I never pay attention to where the matches are being played.  The Auckland Warriors won their game this week playing in Auckland for the first time in close to two years due to Covid restrictions.

I'm playing it safe next week-end when the regular games are played:

Storm, Knight, Panthers, Sharks, NQ, Rabbitohs, Tigers and the Dragons.

Manly Sea Eagles - Melbourne Storm Money Line Melbourne Storm @ 1.26 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.126 mBTC
Newcastle Knights - Gold Coast Titans Money Line Newcastle Knights @ 1.58 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.158 mBTC
Penrith Panthers - Sydney Roosters Money Line Penrith Panthers @ 1.18 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.118 mBTC
Canterbury Bulldogs - Cronulla Sharks Money Line Cronulla Sharks @ 1.33 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.133 mBTC
North Queensland Cowboys - Brisbane Broncos Money Line North Queensland Cowboys @ 1.48 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.148 mBTC
South Sydney Rabbitohs - Parramatta Eels Money Line South Sydney Rabbitohs @ 2.57 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.257 mBTC
New Zealand Warriors - Wests Tigers Money Line Wests Tigers @ 2.57 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.257 mBTC
St George/Illawarra Dragons - Canberra Raiders Money Line St George/Illawarra Dragons @ 1.92 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.192 mBTC

Rugby Union:

Some internationals being played on the weekend of the second and third of July:

New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Scotland to win.

New Zealand - Ireland Money Line New Zealand @ 1.16 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.116 mBTC
Australia - England Money Line Australia @ 1.51 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.151 mBTC
South Africa - Wales Money Line South Africa @ 1.08 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.108 mBTC
Argentina - Scotland Money Line Scotland @ 2.58 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.258 mBTC

The new NitroBetting.eu site is showing me some other international games, so I'm going to take a stab and say:

Montpellier, New York, Griquas

Castres Olympique - Montpellier Money Line Montpellier @ 1.98 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.198 mBTC
New York - Seattle Seawolves Money Line New York @ 1.46 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.146 mBTC
Griquas - Pumas Money Line Griquas @ 1.42 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.142 mBTC

Not a bad haul.

Eleven from fifteen matches (it's the second half of the Dragons Vs Raiders game and the Dragons are leading 12 - 4 after nearly fifty minutes of game play.

Am going for a small parlay on the three favourites on offer at https://play.nitrobetting.eu/ next week-end:

Japan - France Money Line France @ 1.06 New Zealand - Ireland Money Line New Zealand @ 1.10 Australia - England Money Line Australia @ 1.56 Taken Amount: 0.06 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.109 mBTC

1393  Economy / Reputation / Re: Iranus - Changed hands or not? on: July 02, 2022, 12:19:29 PM
Iranus does not even have to sign any message for the case to be closed, they already told their own side of the story, i think every member can decide to sign a message to prove anything or not.

There was a thread titled "why yes I did change my password" or something similar, but I never bookmarked it.  Essentially a user had innocently changed their password - flaming torches and pitchforks ensued and the DT1 trolls foamed at the mouth thinking the account had changed hands.

But it hadn't.

Case in point:

However this is still a suspect, I accept criticism or anything to prove I was wrong.

In other-words smear the mud around and hope that some of it sticks.

Yeh, I just heard on the radio what I missed after I headed to bed at half time.  I thought the Storm would recover quickly in the second half, however, it was Manly's collapse in the last ten minutes that nearly lost them the game.

1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union | League // Super 6/7s Pro14 | Cups & Tours | Olympics | Touch.... on: June 30, 2022, 10:46:55 AM
At half time, the Manly Sea Eagles led the Storm 18 - 6 with a last minute try (the Sea Eagles' Captain is on conversion duties tonight and isn't doing a good job of it).  I've just put a second bet on the Panthers:

Manly Sea Eagles - Melbourne Storm Money Line Melbourne Storm @ 2.65 Taken Amount: 0.06 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.159 mBTC

We'll know in an hour if they can lift their game (I hope so!)

Thanks for the links - I'm still not sure what's happening over at Twitter, but it's letting me add teams again.

I have been wanting to update on the situation and what exactly happened to give it a closure. Keep in mind that I wasn't getting paid for conducting the tournament. I was trying to bring the sports betting community together and I had put in the time and effort to device a tournament and create all the content for it. By the end, I had failed to keep up while handling it alone.  I am to be blamed for it. Sorry for all the inconvenience caused by me. Will hear an update about it shortly.

You may not have been paid to run a competition, however, your thread still contains the information that the there is a prize for the winner.  This alone enticed users to enter (note - that means entice users to gamble).  Regardless of their (gambler's) own outcomes, you have had a lack of transparency in the running of this competition.  Even now you're not providing information.

Considering the 2 years between feedbacks, he might not even have noticed he left feedback from 2 different accounts.

Given on the 2020-09-12, 22:09:04 you wrote this: (context - In relation to their two negative trust feedbacks)

I think it's bad if he leaves feedback from both accounts to the same person (as he did to you), but that feedback was removed after several users expressed their disapproval.

You don't suppose they should have gone back over the dozen or so trust feedbacks on their alt accounts and made corrections?

No.  They consciously used two alts for negative trust feedback AND they have also in more recent times used the DT trust to engage in DT trust abuse.  Plain and simple.

Changing the number of DT1/DT2 required to enable the changes proposed by the OP will only mean someone with alts can and will use them to slam their distorted votes on others.

Do you have camping space on your lawn?

Sadly no.  I did have some property north of Brisbane a few years ago, but it got sold (nice drive though).

State of Origin Game 2.

OMG what a disaster the second half turned out to be!  In the first five minutes, NSW scored a two point penalty kick and at half time the score was 14 - 12.  During half time, the NSW players looked to relaxed walking around and chatting while the Queensland players sat in a semi-circle and received instructions.  But it was to no avail.  Gone was the brilliance of the first game and Qld didn't put on another point loosing 44 - 12.

Game three (being played at Lang Park Brisbane - Capital of Qld) had better be dynamite to make up for game two!
