Just to be clear - the Cup is a side competition. Failure to submit is punishment enough, so those that fail to do so won't receive penalties that will be added to the league ones.

Example - if you have 2 missed submissions in the league and don't submit your answers for the Cup, you'll only be kicked out of the Cup - not from the league as well.

Yup, really a shocking statistic - last year's 7-0 is still in my head.
I hope for the same yet again, but would settle for any kind of victory. In this period where games come fast collecting points is all that matters.

Not much to do after submitting but wait and see who I'll be paired with in Round 2. Whoever it is stands no chance.

I'm more concerned about Pot A. I'm chasing Ulven for the top spot and this is the first round in which I've had so many doubts.
A lot of teams have nothing to play for, it's always a cointoss in such situations.

It's a huge round - those at the top after this one have basically got their hands on the money.

Damn, both Borussia and Milan offer insanely attractive odds for those that will go all-in.

I wanted to go all in on Milan, then wanted to go 3-way (Milan win, Inter draw, Borussia win) and ultimately switched to 10 points 'safety' bet.

I hate picking teams to win in situations in which they don't need points at all - but I really feel that the pick I chose wins. It will still be enough only to defend the top 5 - and only unless Milan wins and half the people pick it.

That's my issue with Salah. I'll probably sell him when he goes to AFCON and I'll have a problem when I'll want to rebuy him again.

When we have 2 rounds of the Cup in 1 week, the questions of the first round must always be completed before the first question of the next round starts.

It is logical, but better safe than sorry. We'll write it down in the questions next time.

This round has 3 bonus questions. These questions will be evaluated only if the competition ends and there is a tiebreaker between 2 or more players after all the points have been calculated (this round and General round). They will be calculated on a 'one by one' basis, meaning that we proceed to the bonus question 7 only if there's still a draw after bonus question 6, and the same for bonus question 8.

To be honest, Villa is one of the nicest surprises of the season. I feel they'll manage to secure top 4 - they look way better than Spurs, United and Newcastle.

Depends on how Q10 is settled. First we evaluate it and assign points for it.

If somebody ties the result with a point collected on Q10, then it is void for all. If nobody does that, the most points (correct picks) on Q10 take the win.
If 2 or more players are still tied, the earlier submission wins.
