There are really a lot of competitions this season on BTT, CL fantasy is also uncovered for example. The thing is that there is a fixed amount of effort you can get from people, and although I do agree that there is some interesting action happening in the EL and Conference league, it's not an easy sell to potential sponsor.
If you want to have a lot of participants, the prize pool needs to be large - and nobody wants to offer that for the Conference league.

Running it with a 1000$ prize pool where you get 12 participants is not something that sponsors would want.

Not to be fully OT - so far it looks like people are willing to risk big. To get that 1st spot, I feel that playing it safe and hitting an average of ~15 points per round won't be enough.

I rarely gamble. I mostly do it when travelling with Trofo because he bets all the time and it's fun for me to do it.
