1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 04, 2019, 01:37:01 AM
We live in a world where our online IDs are in the hands of the government and banks, and we rely on them to keep it secure. Blockchain IDs on the other hand, put you and you only in control. Therefore, you can store all your passwords and any other personal information on the blockchain, eliminating the need of passwords in everything. In the future, these ID services could be applied to government services, medicines and any other record keeping agency.

Blockchain system exist to combat greed and middlemen and to give individuals ultimate control of their identity and activity. In a blockchain future, we will see a world where our medical records are immediately available if we are in an accident; where online voting was possible; and where transparency was paramount and greed is disincentivized.

I don`t know about the password thing, unless you yourself become the password, via dna(spit, blood),fingerprint and or picture/video.

Yes Blockchain is the tool needed to do this, check out my last post. I show how it can be done, Without the government.
1382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: May 04, 2019, 01:31:55 AM

Lol, this is so true. I urge everyone to really put the majority of your investments on bitcoin to avoid getting REKT in the future. Well, you can still invest on some altcoin but at least the your portfolio should be like more than half on bitcoin, just saying.

nah, put it in land you actually own something then that you can call your own.
Why would I use msdos or windows 95 when I can use windows 10.
1383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Using Bitcoins Formula And Blockchain, What Currency Do You Create? on: May 04, 2019, 12:50:20 AM
If you could make any economy/token/currency token what would you make? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o63R3-cpraw

1. One with decentralized voting built into it, so we can vote on issues rather voting people to vote for us. (unlimited jobs created for when robots take over, universal basic income)
2. One where the tx fees go to support global projects (garbage, hospitals, self sustaining farms, back up housing for the people in natural disasters, food for the working class, gas for the working class and the decentralized voting allows us the people to say where our taxes go)
3. One with a fairly distributed supply though file sharing verification (weather it be equal hashing power to all users on the network or duration dispensed into unique address verified by picture and fingerprint or we could even do blood, via file sharing / and populations if don`t unite)
4. One with a built in exchange p2p trading(these banks getting "hacked" then getting bailed out by other banks or governments need to stop)
5. One that people would not trade for the current fiat because it is the new fiat
6. One that does leave our future generations enslaved because we mined it all before them (we all should start the race equally no matter if we are born later in life, bitcoin is a 100% premine (I know it is not premined to us) to anyone being born after 2025 pretty much and watch the ending of huntercoin on youtube the simulation of what happens) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7TLFyK_3Pk
7. One that is not another mans money supply, but everyone creates the supply so it is everyone's (I mean we all back the current system with our work and time)
8. One that is not so harsh on the environment and power usage but instead uses the power to good use and does not create waste  https://youtu.be/K8kua5B5K3I?t=285(literal a non shit coin)
9. One that the united nations united to become the "united nation" to create because they are the people to do this and make it work slowly I mean they got unlimited funds already. (and no one needs to give up anything they already own)
10. One that can also share a wifi network (like the red pill thing from defcon) with its own satellites/wifi running it on each device running the wallet.
11. One that is not prone to 51% attacks (china should not have 81% of the hashing power) but the rule of 50.00000000000000000000000000000000000000001% rules in the public polls for voting.
12. One this is not prone to duplicate addresses in the future
13. One that is much faster
14. One I would look forward to earning when I woke up
15. I would not need another One

It should be mined by everyone at a fair rate I don`t care if it is pow or pos or through duration/time. equal hashing power, equal timed(duration gained), equal starting supply, Whatever works.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7TLFyK_3Pk (how voting, distribution and p2p exchanges can be done)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bowyBKPt15U (how everyone could make their own coin) in 3 clicks

Joe makes a supply of 1000 of Joecoin
Mike (I) makes a supply of 1000 Mikecoin

When Mike obtains Joe coin it turns into Mikecoin
When Joe obtains Mike coin its turns into Joecoin

Both verify using file sharing

Let`s us trade.

also worthy to note:
I have two workers for me, 1 duration token = 1 hour (collected via universal basic income) 1 hour = 10$ (if you feel the need to convert into fiat or the country's base wage) One worker I pay 10$ because they are new or 1 token an hour One worker I pay 20$ because they are experienced or 2 tokens an hour in one hour the first worker earns 1 token in one hour the second worked earns 2 tokens.

I could sell a good chair for 1 hour, I could sell a average chair for 30 minutes, I could sell a used chair missing a leg for 10 seconds or .01 of a token

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135915.0 refer to this post for more information.

We could have base income (welfare) you get this because we fucked up the system so bad if everyone were to go to nature and live peaceful we would run out of food supply real quick, basic needs water, food and shelter is what this would cover.

We could have active voter income (instead of paying people to make up our mind, we get to vote on issues presented by anyone in the colony)
100 people in the gym Joe wants to play Basketball, Sally wants to play Soccer, we elected them in as representatives for us. 98 of us want to play dodgeball, now we are stuck with one of the first two options.

We could have worker income (and different rates for what the people want to pay out of taxes for people to do things) and those people vote on who does them via trust and good reviews on the people executing them.

Anyone could still enterprise, no one needs to give up what they already have or what they will have in the future, a soft reset to the system instead of a total shutdown. No one needs to die, no one needs to give up what they earned.

1385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this GotSatoshi.com? New drama unfolding? on: May 03, 2019, 09:24:08 PM
Well this just looks like another drama and another one of the attention seeking news.
I wonder who would he reveal after the count down maybe just another random names.
But if it is true that they would unveil Satoshi then they need a solid proof that they are really unveiling the true creator of Bitcoin.

I mean even if they moves coins from the genesis block (the change) or from 1 of its 50 wallets, some one could of obtained them that is not satoshi, same with its forum account, look at the p2p forum account i think it got hijacked. So even if the proof is that solid, it could still be someone else. The truth is there is no way to pin point who it is exactly. Only the Creator knows.

I suggest not putting your email on that site until we have more solid evidence. Could be some next level social engineering and phishing.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this GotSatoshi.com? New drama unfolding? on: May 03, 2019, 06:51:02 PM
There is already a thread discussing this very topic which is why I don't see why you felt the need to create another thread here. You guys are diverting attention towards a bullshit website which is conning people into thinking that Satoshi will reveal himself/herself.

Improve your brain power people.
Hello Mr. Powerful Brain. Looks like the other thread is shilling a crappy news article. I posted the direct info.

Good list, I liked this ''Gramatik - Satoshi Nakamoto'' But, there probably appear scam ads at the beginning of these videos Cheesy Other Bitcoin mentions make no sense, the famous is clueless.
The ads are not from the video content but from the sires you playing the music video from, I have watched so many song at they are out to promote the coin in the music industry and also the movie industry.

use adblock (google ad block firefox or chrome) whatever you use.
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this GotSatoshi.com? New drama unfolding? on: May 03, 2019, 05:56:42 PM

Careful it could be a phishing email site for all we know. I mean I doubt satoshi would make a facebook or instagram.
1389  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Bangers Music Compilation on: May 03, 2019, 05:40:24 PM
TimeBits, nice collection of songs related to bitcoin&blockchain, but you missed one good song and a good-looking girl. We are witnesses that mostly men are using cryptocurrency, and if we want bitcoin to succeed we need more woman to join Smiley

added to the list, thanks for sharing.
1390  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post a Picture of what you think Satoshi the Creator of bitcoin looks like on: May 03, 2019, 05:35:15 PM
Guys, you need to think a little outside the box. Who says they were a guy?

One can dream, right?  Cheesy

I would send some bits to her genesis block.

In my opinion, Iron man = Satoshi Nakamoto. Both of are some of my favorites which is why both being the same person would be absolutely awesome. Iron man Nakamoto 3000 all the freaking way!

Spoiler:
He does take one for the team in the new movie  Wink
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt thinks Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme on: May 03, 2019, 06:16:50 AM
Its quite sad, I have been using bitcoin for 3 years now but because of the crash, bitcoin has been labeled a ponzi scheme and there are plans to ban it in india Sad

https://coingape.com/indian-lawmakers-call-ban-bitcoin-cryptocurrency/
https://www.ccn.com/why-indias-bitcoin-ban-could-disappear-after-march-29-hearing

edit: Im Indian

A Ponzi scheme is an investment scam that pays existing investors out of money invested by new investors, giving the appearance of earnings and profits where there are none. Ponzi schemes are also known as pyramid schemes.

So every stock is a ponzi scheme, every coin is a ponzi scheme, fiat itself is a ponzi scheme.

1396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government, Bitcoin/Gold Limited Supply Problem, P2P Exchanges and Solutions! on: May 03, 2019, 02:20:17 AM
If you could make any economy/token/currency token what would you make?

Thought experiment: all of last year's bitcoin history just happened in a parallel universe, and you all have no access to the main blockchain.
You do have the source code, and are free to start/join any blockchain you'd like.

Which block chain would you invest in? (What characteristics would you tweak from the current main blockhain?)
In fact, I guess you should keep a portfolio of coins from several different blockchains. How would you allocate that portfolio?

The main tweakable characteristic of the current chain is it's maturation time: Let's call 21,000,000 bitcoin 1 Megatoshi.
Then, the key difference between the chains is the "Megatoshi half life": the current chain has a half life of about four years - every four years the number of bitcoins not yet generated is halved. How would you diverge your portfolio in this respect? Would there be sense in investing in different blockchains with the same half life and other characteristics, or will there be only a few different chains, and no two chains will have the same intrinsic characteristics?

Note that this has a real impact on the potential growth of your chain - too short a half life (like 10 minutes) means that all the coins are generated too fast, the public doesn't have enough time to join, and your coins will essentially be worthless. A half life of a millenia means nobody can generated hardly any coin, and your coins are again worthless.

Four years seems like a magic number (another credit to Satoshi's brilliance), but I'm wondering if in this thought experiment you would want to diversify at all. Perhaps even in this case the masses will converge into a single block chain, simply for the added security in masses that the dominant blockchain conveys.

One that is for the people, by the people

1. one with decentralized voting built into it, so we can vote on issues rather voting people to vote for us.

9. one that the united nations united to become the "united nation" to create because they are the people to do this and make it work slowly I mean they got unlimited funds already. (and no one needs to give up anything they already own)
10. I would not need another one

I guess us Germans can put it behind and forgive you to  Grin, Water under the bridge brothers.
Oh, Can we also allow woman to not be forced to wear a shirt over their nipples I mean equality #freetheboob2020 come on there is African tribes that seem fine without that silly law. Plus boobs release stress just by looking at them.  Grin There would be a lot less people doing church shootings or blowing up mosque and synagogues if they were looking at some boobs on the drive over. I mean that should be up the ladies if they want to show them or not, just like us men can. I mean if everyone voted on that issue I think it would be like a 90/10 split for yes.  Cheesy

I would give half of my income to satoshi each time I got some and earned some, he or she or them deserve it, they gave the bankers and governments a out, no one needs to die, and we can start focusing on space exploration that is another unlimited job or what were going to do when that sun burns out.

1398  Economy / Speculation / Re: the increase in the price of bitcoin is getting better. on: May 03, 2019, 02:00:34 AM
we all can see for ourselves at the beginning of 2019 until now the price of bitcoin seems to always experience a good price increase, but if at the end of 2019 the price of bitcoin can reach $ 50000, what do you think?

I think 1 btc = 1 btc and if you care about fiat, you are a complete moron $lave.
1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi came out with bitcoin2.0 would you use it? let`s say he used his keys on: May 03, 2019, 01:57:27 AM
If Satoshi came out with Bitcoin2.0 would you use it over Bitcoin current client, if he advised you to and let you exchange your current btc into it? let`s say he used his keys to 100% prove it is the real person or team.
signed on the forum and signed with 2-3 of the starting wallets and genesis address  1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

This ones intresting, well there are mixed answers for me in this situation. If he would be the real one then I guess yes, I would definitely go with his suggestion of migrating. I't because he's probably more knowledgeable than us and in any case, he wouldn't be creating another if there is something wrong with his first creation. Another is maybe is I am afraid of the current amount he has right now, if he goes public then people would be panicking, because some of us believe that he is dead and that million btc is lost forever.

I mean there does not need to be something wrong with the first creation, just they/he or she have a better creation. Look at Nintendo for example, or Windows, There was nothing wrong with their old creations, tech got better, ideas got better, they made new systems.
1400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to recover when you are down 90% of your portfolio? on: May 03, 2019, 01:49:03 AM
Hey guys, my friends and I were down 90% of our crypto portfolio. We bought at the highs and we bought shitcoins. Now we are still down significantly and i just want to ask if you guys have strategy to recover from this? Cheers!

or if you are in Canada, start buying older pennies before 1982, the cooper is worth 5 cents, so you can melt 1 cent down into 5. Just don`t let the queen see you.
